if you ask me, i think everybody is delusional and all the back and forth is for naught when nobody is getting what they want.
in however many episodes we'll be back in the same cycle of new LI, 5-10 episode relationship, and yet another breakup where the words brother, straight, and best friend will once again be used emphatically. maybe even moreso. and at the end of the day, one "side" can cling to the fact that at least their ship went canon and that even though their ship did end it ended with both parties essentially saying i love you and the other "side" will still be....where? both parties are still on screen and close but they're no closer to bumping uglies. all the romance is still in the subtext. it's the same ol game of reading into every scene and look and piece of dialogue to end back up in the same place. we get what we want but it's not exactly what most of us have been hoping and praying for now is it?
like, keep it a buck. we're all losers. and like, such is the life of fandom. we live here for a reason. so. yeah. have fun, i guess!
#anti buddie#anti bucktommy#also i forgot alot of people lie to themselves and say everything is speculation to make themselves feel better when it ultimately#doesnt come true...again.#i might delete this it's very negative and there's so much negativity going around#but yall are killing me this isnt a playground. we're grown.#no matter how annoying any subset of fandom is at the end of the day they're not the ones trying to take away your rights like they're#not actually your enemies idk if you knew that or not#blah blah blah it's not that deep. there are more serious things going on. well yeah exactly#that's the fucking point.#the world is in a level of fucked that most of us have never experienced and we're all just looking for somewhere safe to land#so far from what i usually try to do on here but i've hit my limit i fear

WHAT’S MY NAME? you got that something that keeps me so off balance. baby, you’re a challenge. let’s explore your talent.
THIS IS PART TWO! part one here. pairing, paige bueckers x tutor!oc. notes, blah blah blah place name proper name backstory stuff. warnings, sexual content & interruptions.
“—and she literally asked me what my name was. you heard that? and was dead serious, too.”
the team—well, most of the team burst out into a fit of laughter, their voices echoing through the locker room. it was game day—the same game paige had invited liana to. the same game the blonde paid for liana to go to. they’d only talked about a handful the past few days, the two of them shamefully finding excuses to text each other. the last thing they’d talked about was the game, the blonde confirming everything. in her own words, the girl needed a good ol’ uconn women’s basketball experience.
“man, what’s the point of being famous if people don’t even know who you are?” ice snickered, shaking her head as she pulled her jersey over her head. nika leaned back against her locker, her laugh coming out in short, breathy bursts as she tried to catch her breath.
paige let a small smirk tug at the corners of her lips, trying to play it cool. but deep down, it was bothering her more than she wanted to admit. she was paige bueckers. everyone knew her name. and yet here was this girl, this ridiculously pretty girl, who had managed to make her feel like just another student. that wasn’t supposed to happen, but it felt good in a way.
she pushed the thought away as the team continued to poke fun, turning her attention to her shoes, making sure they were laced up tight. they would be playing maryland, and although paige thought it would be an easy dub, she hoped liana wouldn’t be in viewpoint. she wouldn’t be able to focus that way.
“yo, paige.” kk’s voice cut through the laughter, her tone a bit more serious. paige glanced up, catching the way kk hesitated before she spoke again. “i don’t know if this matters to you or whatever, but… i think liana might be seeing someone.”
the words hung in the air for a moment, and paige’s grin faltered just slightly. she raised an eyebrow, waiting for kk to continue.
“like, there’s this girl me and aubrey saw her on campus with the other day. and she’s been checking her phone a lot when i’m around,” kk added, her voice low as if she didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. but paige caught the implication, her attention immediately shifting to aubrey.
she turned to her teammate, her eyes narrowing just a bit. “you saw her too?”
aubrey looked up, hesitating for a moment before nodding. “yeah, i saw them together a couple of times. seemed like more than just friends, you know?” she tried to put it into perspective for her, but paige didn’t even look like she was listening.
for a second, paige let the thought sink in. another girl, huh? she didn’t know why, but it almost made her smirk. this wasn’t some random guy she could brush off. it was another girl—competition, maybe, but also an opportunity. it didn’t shake her confidence; it only made her more certain of what she wanted.
“bro. i don’t give a fuck about none of that.” her voice was a slight mumble. her tone easy, dismissive. she didn’t care who liana was seeing. if anything, the idea of a challenge made this more fun. “she can have my cake and eat it, too.”
more laughs, because paige truly is just ridiculous. then nika, ever the one to call out paige’s chaos, jumped in. “okay, messy boots. do you even have time for a girlfriend right now?”
“who said anything about a girlfriend?”
azzi raised an eyebrow from her seat, studying her best friend’s face. she couldn’t quite pinpoint it, but something told her that this girl, liana, was consuming her thoughts way more than a regular amount.
paige adjusted her jersey, her mind already shifting back to the game. she needed to focus. there’d be time to deal with liana later. for now, it was all about basketball.
fortunately, the team lucked out and the game against maryland went down exactly as paige had expected—an easy dub, with the final score settling at 80 to 48. she wiped the sweat off her brow as the final buzzer sounded, her grin widening as the cheers of the crowd washed over her.
after the game, paige made her way to the sidelines where a cluster of fans waited, eager for autographs and pictures. she always made time for this part. it was grounding, in a way, reminding her why she did this in the first place. plus, it was fun. she smiled as she signed a few basketballs, shoes, and chatting easily with her supporters. she even spotted a little girl in a uconn jersey who blushed so hard she could barely speak when paige hugged her. she loved these moments. they made the grind worth it.
“paige, you did amazing today!” one fan gushed, shoving a poster her way.
the chatter almost always overlapped. “appreciate it,” paige replied, scribbling her signature. she tossed a few jokes, snapped some pictures, and soaked in the attention. but even with the crowd in front of her, her thoughts kept drifting to liana.
luckily, the girl had been out of sight during the game, so she was mostly out of mind. mostly. paige couldn’t help but wonder where she was—if she’d seen the game or if she’d already left.
as if on cue, paige caught sight of a familiar figure approaching from the edge of the court. her heart did a little flip that she wasn’t ready to acknowledge, so she focused on finishing up an autograph, trying to play it cool. but as liana got closer, paige found herself fumbling with the sharpie, her fingers betraying her nerves. she cursed under her breath, quickly adjusting her grip and finishing it off.
finally turning to liana, she shot her the biggest smile, her hands playing with the cap. liana’s eyes swept over her, taking in the sight of paige in her jersey, her arms still tense from the game and too buff to stay cordial. the girl’s breath hitched, and there was a moment where paige swore she saw something in her gaze—something like admiration, maybe more. it made paige stand a little taller, a little more ego-fulfilled because of what she’d picked up on.
“well, look who decided to show up,” paige teased, twirling the sharpie between her fingers as if she hadn’t just fumbled it a second ago. “you come to support your student, huh? very admirable of you, teach.”
liana smiled, her eyes still lingering on paige’s arms purposefully before meeting her gaze. “gotta support my students, right? especially the ones who are a little… extra credit.”
paige chuckled, not being able to contain her shit-eating grin as she rocked back and forth on her feet. she tipped her head back, maintaining eye contact the way she always did. “extra credit? i’ll take that as a compliment.” paige patted her chest, more specifically, her heart.
“ you should,” liana shot back, her voice light, eyebrows raised and teeth showing in a way that made paige’s chest tighten. it almost felt too good.
for a moment, paige forgot about the crowd around her. it was just liana and her, standing there in the aftermath of a game that didn’t seem nearly as important as this moment. she peeped how liana’s gaze lingered on her jersey, her arms, and even the construction of her face.
“so, listen,” paige started, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. liana stepped closer, moving out of the way so someone could get past them. she couldn’t help but feel a little bit exposed under paige’s eyes, but she liked it. not only was she taller, but she looked down at her like she was prey. liana wondered if she looked at everyone like this while talking to them. “a few of us are heading to ted’s after this. you should come.”
liana hesitated, just like before, but paige could tell she was considering it as she stuttered. “i don’t know…”
paige didn’t let her finish. “bring her.”
liana’s eyebrows shot up, clearly taken aback. “what?”
“the girl you be with,” paige said, her voice steady and accent heavy. “she can come. jus’ want you there.”
liana’s expression softened. paige bueckers had been asking about her. if not that, someone had obviously known she’d cared enough to report back. liana continued to look at her, a mix of surprise and something else that paige couldn’t quite pin down. but whatever it was, it made her feel like she was winning. and paige liked to win.
“alright,” liana finally said, her lips curving into a small smile. “maybe i’ll stop by.”
“good,” paige replied, her grin returning full force. “i’ll see you there, then.”
ted’s was buzzing by the time paige and the team settled in. the usual crowd filled the bar—uconn students, locals. the team had claimed their spot, laughter spilling from their table as they recapped the game and teased each other over everything from missed shots to the post-game interviews. paige was in the middle of telling a story, spinning it out with her usual charm, but her eyes kept darting to the entrance. she was waiting, though she’d never admit it.
it had been about 30 minutes when she saw liana walk in. but she wasn’t alone. a girl followed close behind her, as expected, and paige took her time sizing her up, sucking in a breath.
naomi had brown dreadlocks that hung just past her shoulders, neat and well-kept. she wore a black tee that clung to her frame, paired with simple jeans and boots that looked worn in but sturdy. her presence was different from liana’s, who had changed into a mini skirt and a crop top—more solid, less playful. it made paige’s fingers itch to push at that calmness, to see what it would take to crack it.
as liana and naomi approached the table, paige kept her expression neutral, leaning back in her seat, arms crossed like she was just another teammate hanging out. no big deal. but anyone who knew her knew that she was anything but unbothered right now.
“hey, guys,” liana greeted, her voice warm as always as kk pulled her into an informal side hug, the rest of the team welcoming her normally, some a little more hyper with liquid courage. naomi stood beside her, offering a polite nod to the group.
paige took in the scene, her eyes flicking between the two. landing on liana, she let out a, “hey,” her tone casual. “nice to meet you.” that one was for naomi, paige’s head jerking up in an acknowledgment nod.
“same,” naomi replied, her voice smooth and even, her gaze briefly scanning paige before settling elsewhere.
introductions were quick, and soon enough, naomi found herself caught up in a conversation with aubrey about some mutual interest that paige couldn’t care less about. she watched as aubrey expertly engaged the girl, pulling her into the group with ease. aubrey had always been good at that. it was all too convenient, really, how aubrey was handling the distraction, and paige didn’t miss the cheeky smile aubrey sent her over naomi’s shoulder. it was a silent you’re welcome that paige shook her head at.
with naomi’s attention diverted, paige turned fully toward liana. the energy between them shifted slightly, becoming more charged now that there wasn’t anyone watching too closely. paige leaned in just a bit, enough to close the gap. “drinks?” the blonde suggested, chuckling at liana’s immediate nod as she slid in next to her, dragging the menu in front of her.
“you not a usual?” paige asked, eyebrows furrowing as she looked over her shoulder and at the menu. there was a sense of curiosity beneath her casual tone, a question of why someone like liana wasn’t a regular in a place like ted’s.
“nah, i don’t go out often,” liana replied. she picked up the menu, perfectly manicured fingers following under the words and scanning it like she was genuinely considering her options, but paige could tell her mind was elsewhere.
paige made the connection easily—it explained why she hadn’t seen liana around before. she leaned back slightly, taking a moment to study her profile. something she’d grown accustomed to. “makes sense,” she said, her voice more thoughtful now. “probably why i haven’t seen you around.”
liana nodded, still looking at the menu. “yeah, i’m usually busy with work. tutoring and stuff.”
paige’s curiosity peaked, and she turned her gaze and body more fully on liana. “so, how do you know naomi?” she asked, her tone carefully casual, though the question held more weight than she let on.
liana hesitated for a moment, then shrugged, her expression slipping into something a little more guarded. “we met through mutual friends. it’s… nothing serious,” she added quickly, her voice firm, as if she needed to make that point clear.
“right,” paige replied, her eyes lingering on liana, catching that hint of uncertainty beneath her words. was she lying? why’d she feel the need to?
liana met her blue hues, her lips curving into a small smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “right,” she echoed, though there was a slight tremor in her voice. they both knew what she was trying to convince herself of, and it wasn’t quite working.
a couple more drinks in, liana and paige had loosened up a mile. they talked about where they were from, life on campus, their experiences obviously extremely different, and the blonde had even gotten around to asking her about her tattoo. the one behind her ear. it was some intricate thing her mom used to draw before she passed—right before her first year.
somehow, the deep conversation topics hadn’t made anything awkward or less easy to talk about. it was too easy. and in all honesty, quite scary.
“you looked really good on the court tonight,” liana admitted, her voice softer, more personal as she let her eyes roam over paige. definitely liquid courage, but there was denying they’d had the same amount, and there was no mistaking the interest behind those words, the way her gaze lingered a little too long on paige’s arms, her legs.
“liana!” paige groaned, sitting back in her chair as a sheepish smile took over her face. it was the kind of grin that she tried to hide but couldn’t quite manage, not when liana was looking at her like that.
“what?” she responded, her tone innocent enough and high-pitched through a giggle, though her curls bounced with each turn of her head, making it clear she knew exactly what she was doing.
“you can’t say stuff like that,” paige muttered, though her grin only widened, betraying her words. she leaned in, elbows resting on the table, her eyes locked on liana’s like a challenge.
“why not?” liana shot back, leaning against her elbow, her voice dropping into a teasing whisper. somehow, her eyes looked more doe under the dimly lit bar, more seducing you could say. “you don’t like compliments?”
paige’s eyes narrowed, but there was no malice behind it—just the spark of a challenge she was more than willing to take on. “i like them just fine. but coming from you…”
she arched an eyebrow. “what about me?”
paige chuckled, shaking her head slightly. “you know exactly what i’m talking ‘bout.” she didn’t back down despite being ultimately defeated by liana’s boldness tonight. she could get used to it.
liana’s smile softened, the teasing edge still there, but there was something more genuine beneath it. “maybe i do,” she admitted quietly. she turned away, paige licking her lips as she studied the way her lips wrapped around her straw, and—yeah, that was it.
paige reached out, her fingers brushing against liana’s as she pulled her out of her seat, not bothering with excuses anymore. the need to be alone with her, to be away from naomi and her glances every couple minutes, was too strong to ignore. and it’s not like paige hadn’t thought about doing this since the moment she laid eyes on her, so…
liana was on her in an instant, pressing paige’s back against the single bathroom wall. her hands were everywhere—fingers threading into paige’s braids, tugging just enough to make her groan into her mouth. paige’s hands found liana’s hips before strolling down to her ass, lost in the sloppiness of the kiss and everything it brought—like another heartbeat. paige’s grip tightened on her thighs, pulling her closer, up into her arms and onto the sink.
liana was perched on the edge of the sink, legs pressed against the porcelain. it was a cold contrast, but the least of her worries. the kiss grew more desperate, more consuming, until paige pulled back slightly, her breath ragged, her eyes practically aching.
“you want this?” paige asked, her voice low, fingers already moving underneath liana’s skirt, seeking and teasing at the same time.
but just as her hand slipped higher, liana’s fingers wrapped around her wrist, stopping her. “it’s wrong,” liana whined slightly, as if it was hard to physically not do this. her eyes searched paige’s, trying to find a reason to stop, but it was clear she was struggling.
paige’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion, her breath still coming in short, sharp bursts. “she your girlfriend?”
liana shook her head, the motion almost frantic, her curls bouncing with the movement. “no,” she whispered, the word barely audible above the pounding of their hearts.
the blonde’s lips curved into a slow smile. “then there’s no home to wreck,” she murmured. the moment those words left her mouth, it was like their thoughts snapped back into place, sharper and more urgent than before.
liana didn’t protest again. instead, she pulled paige closer by the collar of her shirt, the movement making her gasp, tongue poking the inside of her cheek with a smirk. paige’s hand found its way back under liana’s skirt, fingers grazing over the fabric of her underwear, teasing her.. make her squirm.
“look at you,” paige taunted, watching liana’s reactions. she slid her fingers back and forth, deliberately avoiding where liana wanted her most. “so wet already…“
her breathing picked up, hands gripping the edge of the sink as she tried to ground herself, her body betraying her, though. “paige, please…” she whispered, the desperation clear as day.
paige’s reaction was more than just one of satisfaction. just earlier this week she’d been asking what her name was, and now she was moaning it. her fingers finally slipped beneath the soaked fabric, finding her heat. she traced the outline of her folds, slow and deliberate, making liana whimper with every touch. her face stayed pressed into the blonde’s shoulder, the smell of some expensive cologne and fresh laundry filling her nostrils. she wanted every part of her.
paige didn’t make her wait any longer. she slipped one finger inside, feeling the tight warmth as liana clenched around her. she added her middle finger, her movements slow and deep, making sure she felt every inch. “so tight for me… say that shit again.”
liana took a moment to process what exactly she wanted her to say, her mind not even on the right planet. catching on, she moaned out a soft, “paige…” and she groaned. she started to thrust, her fingers moving and stopping at the base where her silver rings were. they curled up at one point in a come hither motion, the sensation causing liana to screw her eyes shut, mouth open pornographically wide.
liana moaned loudly, her back arching as paige’s pace quickened, the sound of their bodies filling the small bathroom. her thumb found her clit, rubbing tight circles that had liana gasping, her nails digging into her shoulders. “yes… right there… don’t—mm.. stop,” liana panted, her voice breaking with every thrust.
paige’s fingers worked relentlessly inside of her, her pace quickening as she felt liana tighten around her. she leaned in closer, her breath warm, and whispered in her ear, “i’m fuckin’ splitting you open, baby. you feel that?“
liana could only moan in response, her body shaking as paige’s thumb circled her clit with perfect precision, eliciting a different sound between each movement. she was right there, so close to coming, her mind completely lost in the moment. but just as she felt herself tipping over the edge, a sharp knock echoed through the bathroom door. “liana? you in there?” naomi’s voice cut through to the both of them, pulling liana back to reality with a harsh jolt. if that wasn’t a slap in the face, she didn’t know what was.
“fuck,” she mumbled, frustration clear in her tone as she clung to paige, trying to keep herself grounded in the moment, even as her mind screamed for her to get a grip.
paige’s own frustration mirrored liana’s, looking back at the door. she pulled her hand back with a quickness, watching liana struggle to catch her breath, deciding to help her down from the sink. she steadied her as if nothing had just happened between them, proceeding to follow up with a few lingering kisses on liana’s lips. intimate, sure—but blondie couldn’t resist.
“imma’ text you, alright?” her words were casual, but the look in her eyes wasn’t.
liana nodded, trying to get her thoughts in order, but she was still reeling from how quickly paige could shift from intense to gentle. it was throwing her off balance, and she didn’t like that. how does she do that? how does she make me want her even more everytime she says something? she knew she needed to get out of there before naomi started asking questions, but the entire situation didn’t feel real. they’d have some unfinished business to take care of by fate.
at the door, liana couldn’t help but fake a pout, a small attempt to regain some control, even if it was just a tease. but then paige stuck her fingers in her mouth mindlessly, licking them clean with wide eyes. liana’s mind went blank for a second, her first instinct being a gasp, heat flooding to her cheeks in a swarm as she swatted at paige’s arm. “you’re so—” she started, but paige’s low giggle cut her off, dodging the hits. god, she’s infuriating. infuriatingly cute.
“go on,” paige urged with that damn smirk, and liana knew she was right. she needed to walk out first, leave paige to follow behind like nothing had happened.
with one last look, liana stepped out of the bathroom, her heart pounding. as the door closed behind her, she took a deep breath, trying to steady herself.. not look suspicious.
naomi was waiting just outside, looking at liana with a questioning expression. “you good?”
she forced a smile, nodding quickly. “yeah, just… needed a minute.”

Hii! Could you please do a Daisuke x Reader SFW/NSFW where they are both nerds and always end up having deep lore gameplay conversations during nighttime, as they talk reader starts to cuddle him and he melts under her touch.
(you choose if that goes further or not)
your own medicine | daisuke
author's note: hehehe can you guys guess what game they're talking about? also bay area asian daisuke supremacy (cover image credit)
summary: (daisuke x gn!reader) You and Daisuke often spend your nights staying up much too late, talking about your interests. While talking about a game the two of you adore, things get a little more physical than normal.
word count: 1,434
warnings: kinda nsfw? just a little over the clothing fun (making out and dry humping >>>) all characters are 18+
now playing: The Smashing Pumpkins - "The Boy"

“Wait. For real? You really didn’t know that?” Daisuke chimed from where he laid on the bed.
He shifted onto his elbows, sitting up like the conversation had suddenly turned serious. You couldn’t help but laugh, finding his investment undeniably endearing.
“I only played the game once. I guess I just kinda followed the path they lay out for you,” you replied. Your shoulders rose and fell, a casual shrug in response to his reaction.
His expression twisted into one of utter disbelief, pure bewilderment as he crashed back down onto the bed. He ran his hands along his face, dragging at his full cheeks with a low whine.
“Oh my god. You’re breaking my heart, [Name].”
The two of you were in Daisuke’s room, with him lying on his bed and you sitting alongside him. Your back was against the wall—the cool wooden paneling now warm from your body heat, and your legs were stretched across his stomach. On the other side of the room the digital clock read ‘23:03’, the evening well into the ship’s artificial night-time.
“Stop whining and just tell me about it.” You cocked your head to the side as a playful smile twists on your lips.
Daisuke pulled his hands away from his face and his excited eyes met your own. “Wait, really? You wanna hear about it?”
“No, I asked you to tell me because I didn’t want to know,” you paused, narrowing your gaze as you looked down at him. “C’mon, Daisuke.”
“Okay, okay. No need for attitude, smartass.” Daisuke chuckled warmly. “Y’know how after beating some bosses you get those umbilical cords?”
“Yeah…?” You replied skeptically, realizing how weird this conversation would sound without context.
“Well, they’re like one-third blah blah blah, but there’s actually four in the game. Isn’t that weird? I guess it’s to, like, allow for some user error or whatever, but it really doesn’t make sense mathematically. Like, what do you mean there are four one-thirds of an umbilical cord?” Daisuke started to ramble, completely oblivious to the amused look on your face.
Slowly, you shifted your body, turning to lay on your side as you settled onto the bed beside him. Daisuke froze for a moment as you curled into him, not sure what to do next. The smell of your shampoo filled his nostrils as you rested your head on his shoulder, your face practically buried in the crook of his neck. He felt his heart begin to race, and he silently prayed that you couldn’t hear it from where you laid.
“Go on,” you mumbled. Your breath ghosted along the side of his neck as you spoke.
His Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed—his mouth suddenly ran dry and his tongue felt almost fuzzy. His train of thought had completely derailed. It was like it had been picked up and thrown right off the tracks, sent into a nearby ditch to burn in some fiery explosion.
“Oh, right,” he said with a shake of his head, gathering his words once again. “So, after you get three, you kinda have to eat them. If you consume three, you unlock the secret ending and become a Great One, like I said earlier.”
Not so casually, Daisuke wrapped an arm around you, pulling you tighter. Your body was incredibly warm. If this went on for another minute, he was sure he would melt like a popsicle under your touch.
“That game is so fucking weird,” you responded with a laugh. “Looks like I gotta replay it when we get back.”
Every word you said was like torture to Daisuke. Your breath was hot against his skin, sending faint shivers throughout his body. His own breathing was becoming slightly irregular as he found it harder and harder to think straight.
“You definitely should. Come visit me in San Francisco, we could totally make a whole thing out of it,” he managed to say. His voice wasn’t nearly as confident as it usually was, wavering slightly with each word.
You leaned in closer, your lips accidentally grazing his neck. “Seriously? I’d love to!”
Despite your enthusiasm, your voice was gentle and smooth. The sweet sound blew through Daisuke’s head like waves crashing against warm sand, like his favorite song. He could listen to you talk all day; in fact, he gladly did whenever he had the chance. Nights like these—nights where you would sit in his room just across the hall from yours, and the two of you would talk until the simulated sun rose—meant everything to him. You were quite possibly the brightest thing on that dreary, old ship. The Tulpar needed more people like you.
The feeling of your soft lips against his skin made his breath hitch. It was a quiet sound, almost inaudible, but you were unfortunately close enough to hear. Your brows raised curiously, a thoughtful smirk playing with the corners of your mouth as a thought crossed your mind.
Your heart started to pound against your ribs, your hands—one at your side and the other resting on his chest—began to sweat, and your own breath grew jagged with nervousness. After a moment of contemplation, you gingerly kissed his neck, testing the waters.
Daisuke’s face suddenly felt hot as his cheeks dusted with a vibrant flush. A pleased hum vibrated in his throat. He looked down at the top of your head, watching closely as your hair fell the more you leaned into him. You peppered more kisses against his neck, each one tauntingly soft. He had officially melted, putty in your hands.
“[Name]...” he managed. His voice was hoarse and he cleared his throat, feeling embarrassed.
You carefully lifted your head, your eyes trailing over his blushing face before they landed on his brown ones. With your head tilted to the side, you mustered a quiet, questioning ‘yes’.
Daisuke's focus fell from your eyes to your parted lips. His tongue darted out from his mouth, swiping over his bottle lip. In an instant, he was kissing you. His hands cupped either side of your face as his lips crashed into yours, capturing you in a slow, desperate kiss. He kissed you like he had been dying to do it, like it was the last thing he’d ever do on that godforsaken ship.
A moment later, you were on top of him, straddling his hips with his hands on your waist. You tangled your fingers in his hair, unconsciously tugging at the dry roots. Daisuke exhaled roughly through his nose as you steadily started to work your hips against his, grinding into him at a deliberately teasing pace. It took everything in him not to rock his head back into the pillow, to break away from you and tell you everything he was thinking—all of those needy desires brewing within his foggy mind. Daisuke’s hands ventured over your curves, caressing your waist then following the rise of your thighs. His fingers dug into your skin as he started bucking his hips into yours.
Your lips stifled a moan that threatened to slip from him. Daisuke sat up, pulling you impossibly close to him as he deepened the kiss. You gasped as he reached around and grabbed your ass. Taking advantage of your surprised reaction, he slipped his tongue into your mouth, moving with yours in a dance that made your mind go blank.
His hands made their way over your hips again, gripping your thighs tightly in his large hands. He broke the kiss, a thin line of salvia connecting you two as his mouth worked its way along your jawline, leaving hot, wet kisses in its wake. Daisuke painted your neck with sloppy kisses, absentmindedly sucking and nibbling at the sensitive skin. There would probably be a mark or two in the morning, but neither of you cared at that moment. It would be a worry for the next day, but, for right now, you couldn’t give a shit. You could barely breathe as he left one last kiss under your jaw.
“How do you like it?” he asked, looking up at you with a smug smirk. The brown of his irises was almost entirely consumed by the inky black of his dilated pupils.
A delirious laugh rumbled from your throat as you playfully frowned. “I liked it a lot before you stopped.”
“You want me to keep goin’?”
“I mean,” you began, wrapping your arms around his neck lazily. “If you’re offering…”
Daisuke snorted, his face bright red. He leaned in, placing another soft kiss to your lips, a smile still fixed on his own.

~ Parts one, two, three, and four, as well as my other works, can be found here!
~ Also please lmk how i can improve the masterlist if you do end up checking out my other works!!! (:
~ Thank you so, so much for everyone who requested more crazy jason! ILLYYYY (p.s. thank you for being so patient with this, ik it took forever omg)
~ Wc: 1.4k
~ Tw: (Very) Unhealthy Relationship Dynamics and All that Comes with it, Mentions of Having Children, Jason Todd is Not a Good Person in this, Pet Names, Nausea, Angst, Blood and Violence, Variety in Themes, Cringe maybe (lmk)
"Break up?" You think you can just "break up" with Jason Peter "I've never been in a real relationship bc I died as a teenager and I have serious deep running abandonment issues stemming from my more than troubled childhood" Todd?
Funny.
Real funny.
But yk what he doesn't think he really likes that joke and maybe you should actually never tell it again, okay? ((:
It doesn't matter what way you try to approach the subject. Kind, playing into his delusions about being a real couple? You're overthinking things, but that's fine, he loves you anyways.
Yelling, crying, screaming for him to get the fuck out of your home and go die? You're probably just being dramatic, but that's okay, you're sassy, he's sassy, match made in heaven!
The man is kookoo. He genuinely believes that you're destined to get married to each other and either have or adopt a ton of children and he's gonna be the best dad ever and you'll be a wonderful mom ever and blah blah blah blah.
And I've barely scratched the surface of all his crazy, it runs deep.
~ Drabble Starts Here. ~
He'd kill for you. Without a doubt.
He's always figured, somewhere in the back of his mind, that he might have to go back on his word to Bruce for your sake, that he might have to further stain his own soul and hands to keep yours clean, to protect you, to protect your relationship. It's not something he's too particularly worried about, to him, you might as well be the only living person on the planet anyways. Don't get him wrong, he loves his family, to the moon and back and more (don't tell them that), but if there were two people left on the planet, and one of them was you, and the other was him, he thinks the world might finally be fair. That life might finally be kind to him.
And with reasoning like that, whispered into your hair at night when he thinks you're asleep, how could you be so cruel as to break his heart? How could you when he begs, begs you not to see how evil he thinks he is at night when he's been up too late and his brain starts to tell him cruel things about himself? When he brings you a gift every time he sees you. Granted, they're stolen, and granted, he broke into your home. But they're exemplary of his devotion to you nonetheless. Or at least that's how you see it, that's how you see him.
It's true, Jason has lived a life more than deserving of pity, of kindness and support. That's part of why you feel nauseous right now, your hands, slightly clammy, nervously wring the hem of the shirt you're wearing. It's big on you, hanging down past your thighs. You can't remember if it's his or yours. Your tongue feels too big in your mouth, and your knee is bouncing so much you're sure the muscles in your calf are well defined by now.
The reason you feel so ill as you wait for him at 12:48 AM, your eyes flicking back and forth between the clock on your phone and your TV currently playing reruns, is because tonight is the end of it. The end of Jason breaking into your apartment with a spare key he had made without your knowledge, or your window when you switch your lock for the umpteenth time. The end of you waking up next to him in your bed when you know he wasn't there when you went to sleep. The end of his overly personal nicknames that allude to a relationship you've told him time and time again that you Do. Not. Have.
Tonight you're "breaking up with" Jason Todd. If you weren't on edge you might laugh at the thought. You and Jason have (at least in your adamant opinion) never agreed to date. He never asked you out, he just started, well, acting the way he acts; breaking into your home, stealing random articles of clothing that he has a particular interest in, acting like your boyfriend. But it's been months. You're tired.
"Jason!" You say, surprised at his sudden appearance. You guess you got too caught up in your thoughts. He smells like metal. You're worried about what he might've been getting up to, but that's not your main focus at the moment.
He hears your voice sing his name as he walks into your shared apartment, through the door this time. He knows how much you hate it when he comes in through the window. He's happy to see you, albeit a little surprised, you're usually asleep by this time. You must've stayed up for him, a smile rises to his lips at the thought. "Hiya doll, what're you doing up so late?" He's clearly exhausted, even though he's turning in relatively early, it now being 1:29, he's already had a long, long night. A long, painful, violent night.
All he wants right now is to lay beside you, to rest his head on your chest and hear your heartbeat. It's his second favorite sound in the world. The first being those gorgeous noises you make when he's got his head between your thighs and your fingers in his hair-
He's pulled from his thoughts at the sight of your lip tucked between your teeth, the worry on your face more than evident. His smile drops as he hangs up his signature leather jacket on the coat rack beside the door, and slowly makes his way over to you. "You okay, doll? What's wrong?" He asks you with such sincerity, like he really does care. And the worst part is you know he does.
"We . . . we need to talk, Jason." He can hear how nervous you are just by the way your voice quivers as you address him. It always makes his heart hurt when he hears that. You avert your gaze, unable to look at him at this moment. You breathe deeply, trying to calm your heart and quell the bile fighting to come out. You need to do this, and you need to do it now. "I . . ." You barely manage to warble out, clenching your jaw before bracing yourself. "I want to break up with you Jason." You say after taking a deep breath through your nose.
This is it, you did it. You can feel the saline tears rising to your waterline, but you aren't sad at all. You swallow the massive lump in your throat as you wait for his response, your hands furiously gripping your shirt, an unreadable expression on his face. He just . . . stares for a moment. He doesn't blink, he doesn't frown, he doesn't start sobbing, fall to his knees, beg you to change your mind.
He doesn't do anything. The longer his stillness goes on, the more and more your confidence deteriorates. Your shoulders drop from their tense state, your lip quivers, and your ears ring from how dead silent the room seems to be. "Jason . . ." He's barely blinking, his head slightly cocked, his hands limply dangling at his sides. "I said," You clear your throat, not favoring how weak you sound. "I said I want to break up with you. I don't want to date you anymore." You know he heard you, but you repeat yourself nonetheless.
The longer the two of you sit in silence, the harder it is to stomach it. Your hands shake as they grip your shirt, the fabric wrinkles in your tight grasp, your chest feels like all of your ribs have turned into snakes and started squeezing and constricting around your pounding heart. His eyes pierce your soul, the usually deep pits now shallow and glassy. Eventually, the second that he sees a single drop of water fall down your cheek he seems to snap out of it.
The life, the color returns to his face and eyes, as if he was just woken out of a deep trance at the mere sight of your tears. Then, perhaps most disturbingly, he laughs. A cold, icy chuckle that slides off his vocal cords and freezes the room. It sounds almost plastic, rehearsed, like he's practiced it in the mirror hundreds of times in preparation for moments like this. "That . . ." he wheezes between bouts of fake laughter. "That was really funny, babe, you almost had me there."
Jason runs a hand through his hair, disguising the act as if he's trying to gather himself when really, he's resisting the urge to grip on the strands of inky black until they rip from his scalp. He's still pretending to collect himself as he slips past your form, still standing almost perfectly still, into your room. You don't even remember the rest of the night. You don't remember what either of you said, what either of you did, all you remember is following him into the room, being coaxed into bed, and resting your swirling head on his chest as his arms wrapped so, so tightly around your shoulders.
Jason doesn't sleep well that night, even with you safely tucked into his arms. It was a joke, it was a joke, it was a joke. That's what he tells himself. Over and over in his head, bouncing off the walls of his skull; it was a joke, it was a joke, it was a joke. It must be, it has to be. His sweet Y/n, who knows what he's been through, who knows he's never had anything, and anything he has ever had was ripped from his hands, his Y/n would never be so cruel.
She'd never leave him. He couldn't let her. Not when he'd die for her, not when he'd kill for her.

Buddie realization earlier than expected? (Theory: looong)
Ok so what led me on this train of thought was bc I’ve been thinking about is the beginning of season 7 when Eddie is talking with Buck about Chris being a player. Eddie says “I don’t know where he gets it from, I married the first girl that I dated”. Fast forward to season 8 and bummy breakup and Turkish delight telling Buck that he’s his first and won’t be his last blah blah. Now let’s go to how Buck was ofc as usual ready to move in with Travel Agent and be serious. We’ve seen Buck from season 4 onward pushing to settle down and it was assumed that was bc of the Abby closure at the end of season 3 BUT…what if it’s not? What if it’s really a nod to Bucks need to be close to Eddie and in this sense I mean more mentally and theoretically.
Although Buck has seen Eddies relationships fall apart multiple times he has always tried to be like Eddie and establish “security” in a partner and eventually a family- something that he found in Eddie and Chris- but also really hasn’t bc Eddie has continually given up that spot that Buck unofficially holds as part of the Diaz family for years. However throughout the time Buck has known Eddie , the spot as Eddies best friend has been secured by him…until Trumpet. Once he was introduced Buck panicked(the first spot in Eddies life was already taken by Marisol and now there was competition for the other) so he did what he could to right the situation-remove Tourniquet from Eddies life himself. Buck found a willing substitute for Eddie while also ensuring that he would be Eddies secured first(bestie slash “platonic” life partner).
Back to the Eddie marrying his first and Torpedo saying that they can’t last BECAUSE he’s his first. I think at some point this is going to be brought up or referenced to, especially with the stills showing a depressed Buck. I think he has mentally seen Trombone being his first as something that relates to the validity of his relationship with Eddie. With him trying to emulate and fill the gap that not holding that “true” top spot in Eddies life and provide reason for why he should be okay being only Eddies bestfriend. Buck will at some point think well you married your first and overall it worked out great right(despite the divorce and her dying…)? You have your kid you got to experience the love etc. This is why despite multiple little(and not so little) references to Triste not being the one for him( the Evan Thing, “You wanted MY attention”, he’s good for you - how do you know that?, I gave you basketball tickets for our anniversary when you don’t like basketball, Do you love him?…, I led on the woman that changed your outlook on relationships and completely broke her heart), he still proceeds to ask Tommy to move in with him.
So then comes the question Why Buck? Why are you so heartbroken over this when you know deep down Trashcan was right? Because the whole thing was a product of his fear that he wont be important in eddies life forever. And from the articles Eddie is supposed to have a unique reaction to the breakup which I think is he is going to be completely care free about it in a “What can you do way”. This again will bring up Why do you care this much? Everyone else is moving on, you weren’t even this bad with Abby. I can totally see Buck having a meltdown about it. Another unique thing that hasn’t really happened before- Eddie is relatively free of emotional and mental weight atm while Buck is the complete opposite. Either both have been down bad or Buck was the free one and Eddie needed him. If Eddie reacts how I think in addition to everything else, this will be when Buck realizes what he truly wants from Eddie. Buck has always been there for him when the roles were reversed so Eddie not making it a priority will probably cause a I’m always there for him? Why is that and why am I so angry that he’s not as devastated as I am that our-I mean- me and Trampoline’s relationship didn’t work. This is all going to lead to Buck ending this episode or next episode with the realization that he has real romantic feelings for Eddie. BUTT I might just be way off and Eddie gets really protective and threatens Turnips life for not seeing how great Buck is and then asks Buck to marry him instead🙂.
Also this is probably hard to follow but it makes more sense in my head promise

if web had gotten wounded in the patrol how do you think joe would've reacted? cause we all know (= like to think) he was worried about web in that one scene with the whistler, but idk how he would've acted on his worries had they come true🤔 would it depend on how serious the wound was? would he feel even more resentment cause web just got back and got hurt again and was once again to rest while they all have to keep working? if that was the case would the relief that he didn't die like jackson overshadow this resentment? idk i feel like i don’t know him well enough like you do to imagine this😭
first of all, I'm very amused that you think I'm some sort of joe liebgott whisperer. like we watched the same show don't doubt yourself and your interpretations </3 but yeah I guess I have been studying the blade for a while
okay. is it too much of a cop out to say yes literally all of that is going on inside of joe at once? but yeah, it would depend on the kind of wound web got because that would probably change the scenario. I guess I'll give you two answers then:
scenario 1: the wound is another clean, superficial million dollar wound like the one web got in holland
I think joe is more likely to be resentful and angry in this scenario. like you said, web hasn't been on the line as much compared to the other guys. they haven't had a proper break in months. while obviously getting wounded isn't fun, web had been lucky to miss out on bastogne. I think part of joe is constantly wrestling with his deep bitterness over web not being there to help them out and experience the misery he experienced and his relief that web wasn't there. because let's face it, he wouldn't wish that kind of shit on anyone. the way I characterize joe is he's in a constant push and pull with his very real firy resentment and his good heart. he has a lot of internal conflict because he's so angry (and traumatized) that it causes him to lash out. but later I think he regrets it because he's a kind person with a gentleness and generosity that's innate to his character
so, on the surface, yes, he would be very angry that web is getting out of it yet again. but I think another part of him would be glad because maybe this means web gets out of the war, if not unscathed, then at least alive. after all, web did get joe out of the patrol, and he was trying to prove himself in part because of how joe treated him. who knows, maybe if web hadn't stuck out his neck joe could've been the one who had gotten hit or killed. joe knows this. obviously, he would be pissed that web was leaving yet again (and I could talk about joseph "abandonment issues" liebgott all day) but I think his anger would burn bright and hot and quick and eventually his feelings of guilt and sadness would probably overtake it. I think joe and web would work things out eventually there would just be some hurt feelings as per usual with them... they don't communicate for shit or say what they mean because they're both scared and out of their depth and trying to uphold their facades because they care so much what the other thinks of them but they can't know it blah blah blah
scenario 2: the wound is serious, life-threatening, web might not die but he's in bad shape
I think joe is less likely to be angry or resentful in a scenario where web is hurt badly and genuinely in danger. I think he'd be pretty upset honestly and feel guilty over how he'd been treating web those past couple days. I think he'd also be afraid that his behaviour pushed web towards proving himself on the patrol and might've been the reason why web got hurt. however, I think joe would rather chew glass than express any of this to anyone, let alone web, which would cause him to be very touchy and stressed out and he'd probably still lash out in some ways.
I had a convo about this scenario with tierney/@kbsd and we talked about how joe would probably do other things to show he cares because he's such an actions over words kind of guy. he can't admit his feelings whatsoever. anyways, we thought it'd be a funny scenario if joe was always hovering around the hospital (say they're back in mourmelon and web is being treated there) and he keeps pissing off the nurses with his presence because he's checking up on web and bringing him the newspaper and like pestering the doctors about when web's bandages were last changed when web is asleep and can't hear it and just being a jerk and a nuissance and they're like can you please go away jesus fucking christ
anyways, I kind of lost the plot did this even answer your question at all
#I blabbed too much and this is me trying to reign it in if you can believe it#webgott#ask#anonymous

me yapping about Jax and theories and why he acts the way he acts blah blah blah i like to yap
read if u dare ig, just wanted to share
Okay so the thing is about Jax is that he holds his reputation to his HEART his goddamn SOUL [if he has one jkjk] like ong he is so serious about it. and yeah we're on episode 3 in november and the 4th episode could quite possibly release in december and because of that obviously we do NOT know anything about him. hardly anything. was he close to kaufmo? was he always a jerk? does he exclusively think that he's weak if he isn't a jerk? that was a bit deep OBVIOUSLY we wouldn't know that but even still! something. something about this man kills me like a train derailing bro
so, about that reputation, i think the reputation might just be like not being concluded as weak and just the “oh it's his way of coping” NO he does not want to be seen as weak! he wants them to think he's just generally a bad person or a flat out, plain dipshit that has nothing to do in life besides make others miserable. that's what he wants them to think! probably. but like dude, i feel like he secretly might just want to get close with them but jdhd! who the hell knows!? he is most definitely NOT dumb [he somehow knew Ragatha was afraid of centipedes??? ??how did? SMARTASS] and uses that very much to his advantage but that's hardly even the point
what im trying to say here is that he is not dumb if he wants to be close with someone but then ultimately not know how to and/or feel the need to push them away because of your social reputation. i get that a lot though personally because who the hell wants to be seen as the guy who is actually really fuckin desperate? and the whole thing that goes like “that's his coping mechanism, act like you care” would be goddamn FRUSTRATING if i were him! so obviously why would he even dare open up? well, honestly, maybe at some point he will but he HAS to go like “bitch, you better keep this a goddamn secret, they don't need to know anything about me”
personally, i feel like Pomni is going to see the actually genuinely kinda emotional side of him at some point AT SOME POINT like at his episode in particular perhaps but. actually that's more than likely, to be honest. i kinda highkey want this guy to rain absolute hell upon everyone else and simultaneously have the worst mental breakdown i have ever seen in my life and media. im kind of. hungry for it, conceivably. but yes, since Pomni is the main character of the show i certainly believe that they'll get close in some kind of way. very clearly not in a romantic way, it's been stated so many times that there will not be any canon romance.
another thing is of another theory i have seen before…
does he believe that the other people are actually people? or does he entirely think that they're npcs and simply do not have a real conscience? maybe, maybe not. because it'd explain a bit about why he doesn't really care if he hurts them physically and/or mentally. it could just be denial, honestly.
CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW YOUNG HE AND ZOOBLE ARE?! NO COLLEGE FOR YOU TWO😭😭
#tadc jax#tadc pomni#tadc ragatha#tadc theory#jax theory#> <#ive yapped 2 times on this blog ohh noo#dont you guys see him?

Imma talk about Helluva Boss cause I love the show and I don't talk about it much on here.
I've been watching the show since the day the pilot got released. And Blitzo has always been my favorite character ever since. I always seen him almost like Deadpool in a way; funny, badass, serious, sassy, (don't remember how true this is for Deadpool but) asshole, etc. I do love Fizz, Loona, Moxxie, Millie, and all of the other characters, but Blitzo has always been in that #1 spot for me. And the fact that his is the main character in the show, that's clearly saying a lot, because I don't think I've ever had a super favorite character that actually is the main character before (usually it'd be villains and/or side character). And I think this is because I don't usually see enough struggle, or perhaps a more of a human feeling towards a main character?? (I honestly don't know how else to word this). Well, yeah, obviously I root for the main character to complete their quest, save the day, blah blah blah. But to actually connect with them on a deeper level?? That never really happened before... until Blitzo.
And no, I don't share any heavy trauma related or any traumatic past experience that Blitzo went through, so I don't relate to him on a personal level. (Just so we're clear, I actually had a healthy childhood and my life is pretty chill majority of the time). The reason why I say I can have a deep connection to Blitzo is because of how much of a complex character his is. He's not black and white, and he's not like Charlie from Hazbin Hotel (no hate to her I actually like her). Perhaps the reason could also extend to how each episode is uploaded one at a time with at least a few months gap in between. With how the episodes are uploaded, I believe it helped me to actually spend time and learn about the characters more, especially about Blitzo.
During the first season, they've kept Blitzo's past subtle, not really info dumping us viewers. Although, Season 1 does give us a few glimpse of Blitzo's inner problems, and they showed it more vividly in Truth Seekers. (I will not be going into too much details cause I don't want to make a very long post).
Season 2, however, we get to see more into Blitzo's past and his childhood. The season literally starts out with a backstory about how he and Stolas met on Stolas's birthday. (The episode's name is The Circus if you wanna rewatch, or go check it out for yourself). Also, in the very next episode, Seeing Stars, we get a flashback of when Blitzo adopted Loona, how he saw parts of himself in her and wanted to give her a better home and life right then and there! He could've chose ANY OTHER Hellhound, and yet, HE CHOSE LOONA!
Throughout Season 2, we met Barbie for a little bit, and clearly she's still hurting from the accidental fire that Blitzo caused. And in Oops, Fizz and Blitzo actually talked about the incident (while being under attacked Moxxie's insane mafia father), and Blitzo explained to him that he did cared, he was trying to look for help, but it was too late. And Blitzo wasn't even allowed to visit Fizz (guess who's fault that was). Oh, and there was this whole anti-Blitzo party that Verosika hosted thing.
And... this Halloween's episode. Ghostfuckers. We didn't just saw more of Blitzo's past or how badly his trauma and "break-up from Stolas" was haunting him. We saw HIS POINT OF VIEW. We saw his point of view of events from previous episodes, what he actually saw vs what us viewers saw. And there's a huge different, and I think the visuals speaks for themselves, honestly. (I almost cried a few times while watching it in art class. That's how emotionally attach I got to Blitzo).
This show has been going on for almost 5 years, which it's insane to think about. And the fact we've spent that much time with the characters, we were able to learn a lot about them. That couldn't be anymore truer for Blitzo. When we first saw him long ago in the Pilot (that's no longer canon to the actual lore), we didn't think much of him, at least, I didn't think much of him. At first, I just thought "oh, funny asshole demon that has a killing business" and nothing else. Now, it's "holy shit this guy needs more than therapy."
I honestly could go on longer about Blitzo in general, but this post is already getting too long and it's almost 1am for me (when I'm writing this). I knew I had a lot to share, but holy shit, I didn't expect to have THIS much to share... oops.
In short; Blitzo has that human complex type of character built into him, making him completely grayscale rather the "black and white" stuff, and how spread out the episodes are, I managed to build a deep emotional connection to him to the point where I wanna hug him. I'm probably not the first one to say it, but I'm very proud of how far he has come, even though some of his ideas weren't exactly the best ideas (I think we all know what I'm referring to). And based on Ghostfuckers, I have great hopes that he'll continue moving forward, even though it'll take him a while. But hey, progress is still progress, and the road to recovery is one helluva bumpy road :D. I'll definitely still be rooting for him, cheering him on to continue the progress, and I know that one day, he'll truly be happy in his life.
#helluva boss#helluva boss rant#long post#helluva boss spoilers#blitzo#helluva boss blitz#analyzing#this post was just an excuse for me to say that i love blitzo#just so we're clear i don't support his decisions in being the “3rd wheel” in M&M's relationship#from the looks of s2 ep10 i think he's actually gonna stop trying to be one :D#also this can be an open discussion#if you wanna add more with your thoughts#please do so#all i ask is to be civilized :)

Dear Lady Dimitrescu,
While I am no noble, I’m certainly not a manthing, so here’s a list of reasons why I would be a perfect candidate to be Daniela’s spouse. (HUY SPOUSE??? exag na)
Though before I get into that, how was your day? Was it pleasant? Did something inconvenient happen? If so, please tell me about it before thinking about slicing me to ribbons..
So, anyways, I will be giving my reason then explaining, so if you’ll give me a moment of your time, that would be splendid.
Reason 1: The usual ‘I’m kind, empathetic, caring, etc.’ spiel. I have evidence to back this up because I’m the therapist friend TM (charot). I don’t have receipts but my friends can vouch for me, I swear. I’m open-minded and not easily disgusted by things, so I have no problem with being around death and all that.
Reason 2: My music taste. It doesn’t really count BUT it should, because who would want to be with someone who only listens to rap or drill? I have a diverse music taste, including: jazz, classical, broadway/west end, pop, and rock. It doesn’t say much, but it basically does. Music taste is a large part of someone’s personality, and music is a thing people use to express themselves, hence the whole thing.
Reason 3: I’m educated. Thankfully, I am, and although many are, I’m also educated in pretty niche topics, so yippee!! I can’t exactly delve deep into it as it’s a bit complicated so I’ll leave it at that.
Reason 4: My hobbies! I love reading, so I’m sure it would be a good match with Daniela. I can also write, albeit not that well to an extent, but I can be poetic when I am. I love performing, especially acting. It’s like an escape for me, and I’m good at it too, thankfully. I also love learning about niche topics, and it’s something I’d love to share with someone. I love photography, and taking pictures whenever I see something beautiful. No doubt my SD card would be filled with photos of Daniela. (it’s giving.. autism? jk) But if she’s willing to listen, I could go on and on about certain topics.
Reason 5, hopefully the last reason, though I can still give more: My personality. It goes without a saying that personality plays a big role in spouses and their compatibility, and I (firmly) believe my personality is fit for Daniela. Although I can also be quite energetic at times, I can mostly keep calm and a level head. As I said before, I’m not easily disgusted and I don’t have a weak stomach, so I can handle all the blood and the killings n stuff. I can be silly at times, and serious at some. It’s a perfect match, I swear. I’m not judgmental, and I’m extra lesbian so yea..
All in all, I’m not quite sure if you can make your mind with these. I desperately hope you won’t slice me to ribbons for even suggesting the idea, but please try to keep an open mind. As always, have a good day.
— K.D.
Oooh, I like this one far better so far. Some actual manners, *cough cough* Odysseus. Still, it's almost improbable I will give up Daniela to anyone, I will listen to this one. Well, my day was perfectly acceptable, this is also an acceptable stalling tactic as in the event I decide to "slice you into ribbons" there will be no running. Although something rather inconvenient did happen, that tragic un-babysat toddler Heisenberg tried to get Moreau to decide if my wine or his repellant moonshine whiskey was better. That blathering freak chose his whiskey, then again that does confirm how repulsive and classless he is...
To your first reason: Yes, yes, blah blah, I've heard it all before. Especially from that clown who couldn't even get national clown college certification although it's probably best you can handle the viscera.
To your second reason: Good, as you may know I was a jazz performer. I'm in support of jazz and classical as genres so good for you. And yes, the ribbon treatment would be inevitable in the event you did say drill or rap.
To your third reason: *sighs* it's something, at least you're not entirely a peasant.
To your fourth reason: And on and on you have went although you still seem a better candidate for my darling Daniela as of yet but she still most likely won't be married for another century, I imagine. Still, House Dimitrescu will only accept those with true talent, so on the off-chance you have that than that will assist your chances.
To your fifth reason: Well... I don't even know how to respond to that. Daniela will decide that in the event you get as far as meeting her.
In conclusion, you are the best candidate so far but it's still more or less improbable you'll receive my sweet, lovely Daniela's hand. And I will keep an open mind, although if you test me, even slightly, you'll find your mind far-far too open, my claws do have a habit of "opening minds."

Hi! This is my first time requesting so if you're not up for writing this please just ignore it.
Dragon reader whose species is almost completely extinct , Dragons are always known as big and dangerous creatures so when the murders start happening (canon murders.) Ironically during the same time she enrolls in the school everyone immediately starts blaming the reader (Because dragon bad blah blah blah.) This includes Wednesday and Enid who posts on her blog about how dangerous and murderous the reader is and how everyone should shun them. (The police don't have enough evidence to even hold the reader in a cell.) The reader is constantly beaten and considers taking her life at this point until she meets Marilyn who sees a chance to have a servant bigger , smarter and faster than the hide. So she manipulates the reader into being her lover/servant and tells the reader that actually she and Tyler are behind the murders but the reader is so deep in subspace by this point that they don't care. So Marilyn who now has no need for Tyler outs him (But doesn't out herself.) And Tyler goes to jail.
But now that everyone knows Tyler was the murderer they also know that the reader is innocent and are constantly harassing her about forgiving them and telling her that she's being Dramatic, they end up doing this so much that the reader snaps and tells everyone about how she almost ended her life and also snaps on principal Weems about how the reader reported everything to her and how nothing was ever done about it and how their racism almost cost her her life. Marilyn steps in and clams the reader down who was 2 seconds away from transforming into dragon form and afterwards a smut where Marilyn tells the reader that they are all gonna be dead soon anyways so there's no point in wasting energy on them.
That is all.
Yesss!!! Here it is!!! Sorry about the delay!!! Maybe it's too long, but no one can stop me when I'm inspired ;) I hope you like it and sorry about the language mistakes!!!! :))))))
Scales of hate
Pairing: Marilyn Thornhill/Laurel Gates x Fem, Student, Dragon! Reader
Warnings: Angst, mentions of suicide, implied slightly smut, dark themes, bad choices, bullying, depression…
Word count: 10,054
Summary: You were one of the last dragons, and when your family sent you to Nevermore, things got worse to your dangerous depression…
N/A: Requests are open!!! Sorry about the delays, I’m working hard on your requests. I love you all!!!
When you crossed the common patio, what your new classmates called "the quad", the eyes turned towards you, all of them.
You arrived at what would be your new home, Nevermore, the most important school for outcasts in the country. You knew that in a school like that, going unnoticed was complicated, but the news seemed to spread like wildfire.
“So it's true?” A blonde girl asked, touching your shoulder. She seemed cheerful, but her face also had a certain wary feeling. Next to her was another girl, more serious and dressed in black, like one of those old movies you enjoyed so much.
“What is true?” You asked, not wanting to be too abrupt. Socializing wasn't your strong suit, but you also didn't want to make a bad first impression.
“Well, that… That you are…” The blonde girl said, avoiding contact with your red eyes.
“A dragon,” the other girl finished. She seemed like she had no problem looking into your eyes, her appearance was perhaps a little arrogant.
You sighed and, seeing the zero need to lie, you nodded, crossing your arms.
“Well, yes I am, but people usually call me, (Y/N),” you responded ironically.
“Wow… You know? We had never had dragons in Nevermore, the teachers told us that they had been extinct for years,” the girl Said, sighing with some relief. Everyone acted that way when they knew your nature, with the passage of time, you stopped giving it importance.
Comically and with some sarcasm you looked at yourself, shaking your head.
“Well, here I am,” you said dryly. You looked at the other young woman, who seemed to be studying you thoroughly with her eyes.
“I see… I'm Enid, by the way,” she said, extending her hand towards you. You hesitated, but your senses immediately identified the particular scent of a werewolf, so you shook her hand briefly.
“Principal Weems puts a lot of things at risk in this school,” the other girl said, arms crossed, narrowing her eyes at you. You were used to hearing worse things.
“Wednesday…” Enid whispered, nudging her. “You shouldn't make her angry the first day… You know, teeth, claws… An enormous size…”
You smiled wryly, with the same defiant look with which she looked at you.
“That I'm here bothers you?” You asked with a soft tone. It was not easy for you to lose your temper, the consequences were terrifying.
“I don't know, it depends,” Wednesday said, tilting her head. “I have read many books about dragons, and none of them said good things.”
“Oh, the books, of course. Literature never did us justice,” you said, wanting to escape as quickly as possible.
“30 books that say the same thing can't be wrong.”
You frowned and noticed how your breathing began to quicken. Luckily at that moment the principal appeared, with a smile faker than a $15 bill.
“(Y/N), how lucky you are here…”She said, sighing with a strange relief. You could see prejudice everywhere, your life was always like this, people used to be nice, but only because they thought that at some point you would transform and slaughter everything in your path.
“Principal Weems…” Your two companions sighed.
You didn't say anything, you just took one last look at that dark, distrustful young woman and let yourself be guided by Weems, who seemed to almost push you offstage.
“I'm glad you're starting to get to know your classmates,” Larissa said, as you went up some stairs.
“They looked very enthusiastic about having me here,” you said ironically. The woman didn't say anything, she just gave you a fake smile while she handed you a set of keys in front of a door that was different from the others.
“This is your room,” she said. You nodded and looked at the three keys and then at the door. Three locks, of course.
“What about my roommate?” You asked, when Larissa told you which key went in which lock. “Shouldn't you introduce her to me?”
“Oh, well, I thought that perhaps you would be a little more comfortable if you were alone, your uncle told us that you didn't like the company too much,” she explained. You nodded passively and listlessly.
“And the thing about the armored bedroom is for my privacy, right?” You asked sarcastically as you opened the locks.
“It's a new system that we're testing, you know, to prevent students from "breaking the rules," you know what I mean,” she said, winking at you.
You widened your eyes at that pathetic excuse and made a sour face for the woman to get out of there.
“All your stuff is here, put things to your liking, tomorrow you'll start classes oh, and one last thing…” She said, making you look again through the door that you were already closing. “Put your uniform.”
You didn't say anything and frowned, giving that draconic look that you knew scared people, thus putting your theories to the test. Larissa stepped back and put on a bigger and more fake smile.
“Well, if, if you want to, of course,” She said with a broken voice. You rolled your eyes and closed the door in the middle of a standard formal parting sentence.
You took a look at your room. It was dark, with a small window. It was no longer just that the door had three locks, or that you were at the top of the school, cut off from the rest of the world. It seemed like you were in some kind of jail. You drew the curtains to find the next surprise.
“Bars? Really?” You asked to yourself, when you opened the window. “There is nothing like feeling at home...”
Sighing, you fell back on the bed and reflected on the last events of your life.
You didn't know much about your family, about your parents. They died when you were just a baby. You've lived with your father's brother since that. He told you lies about losing your parents, until one day, in one of your usual tantrums as a little girl, you wreaked havoc on your uncle's little farm. Then the truth came out.
You were a dragon, one of the last, if not the last. Your parents were too, but unfortunately in small towns people didn't have an open mind.
Centuries and centuries of bad fame, of series and movies where the dragon was the enemy, the terrifying being that came to end humanity, had made a dent in the population, causing them, after an incident that occurred in the town, to blame your parents.
The police did not have enough evidence, they were innocent. But people wanted revenge instead of a rational explanation. They died after a mob of people with pitchforks and torches. You survived thanks to being hidden.
The rest of your life was a concert of prejudices, prohibitions and punishments. Looks of fear and hatred from everyone, cruel advances from your former colleagues. Basically hell. Nevermore didn't seem like the solution and you didn't have to see it for yourself. You knew it well days before you arrived.
You were mired in a very serious depression and your problems did not seem to go away, not even with the treatments of the well-paid psychiatrist who used to treat you, or rather, prescribe you a bottle of painkillers every two weeks.
You left that bottle of pills on the table and you stared at it, as you did every day for a while. You always thought horrible things, give up, stop living in misery, stop living indeed.
You were a coward, you never dared to do it. You were also delusional, thinking that the next day would be better, that there was still some hope. Day after day, you were wrong.
Nevermore seemed to be a refuge for all the outcasts. It was sold as the only opportunity for those who had been rejected by society. Lies. You couldn't leave your room without seeing terrified looks towards you, without comments and stupid questions about how many cities you had razed, if you had ever killed, or if you were dangerous.
They were partly right. You had strength greater than any creature that resided there, you could outrun anyone, you could fly, you could spit fire. You were a terrifying creature, but harmless. Years of self-control by your family forced you to contain your abilities, not to respond to ridicule, to pretend to be a weak girl, without a soul, without the desire to defend yourself, without the desire to exist.
Being on your uncle's farm at least you were allowed to transform from time to time, fly around, feel free. You couldn't do it in Nevermore, Larissa made it very clear to you when you arrived.
Although apparently that girl Enid seemed somewhat closer than the others, she didn't usually get close to you either. In your first classes there was a great void around you, as if you were a carrier of some infectious disease. You could smell the fear, the hate, the rejection.
At least you had the woods. Every afternoon, you went out to vent among the trees. Roaring in rage, pulling out your claws and knocking down a tree along the way. No one saw you there, it was the closest thing to being free, the only thing that made you not look with desire at that bottle of pills.
“Twelve seconds, a new record…” You sighed, panting, stopping your watch.
It was a rainy afternoon, the perfect weather to run and unleash your destructive instincts. You leaned against a tree and looked up at the gray sky, while the raindrops fell on your face.
“Sheriff, honestly, I doubt it was a bear,” a voice that caught your attention said, making you automatically turn your head towards the source of the sound.
Stealthily, you approached what looked like a crime scene. There was a police car and two people examining something in the rain.
“Where is the right arm?” the man asked, who looked like the sheriff of the town.
“It's the only thing that's missing,” the woman who was next to him replied.
You hid behind a tree and had to hold back a scream when you saw what looked like body parts scattered around the area.
“Oh shit,” you whispered, listening carefully to the conversation.
“It's already the third, Donovan, what are we going to tell the press?”
“What do I know…” The man replied, looking in your direction. “Tell them the bear is back.
“But sheriff…”
“I know, I know. I'm pretty sure this all has to do with that bloody school, but until I find out the truth, it's going to be a fucking bear.”
You listened carefully, trying not to be discovered, because they were looking around. Immediately all your alarms turned on. Several heinous crimes, a dragon, Nevermore. You just had to connect concepts.
You escaped from the place as fast as you could, being a bit unsettled by that information. It could be you, but you were sure it wasn't, it had been more than ten years since you lost control of your actions enough to forget about something like that, besides, the victim looked like a hiker, not a student of Nevermore, which would be your most likely target.
“Well, in today's class, we will talk about one of the most fearsome creatures that exist,” the teacher of "dangerous creatures" began to explain “Dragons.”
You looked up, noticing how the eyes of your companions immediately settled on you. You ignored them and frowned at the teacher.
“Well, for centuries, humanity has feared these monstrous creatures, responsible for destroying several cities and killing and devouring millions of people.”
A raised hand caught your attention. It was Wednesday, the sinister girl who questioned you the day you arrived.
“Mrs. Frampton, what drives a dragon to destroy? Is its nature?” She asked, looking at you out of the corner of her eye.
You knew how scared they were of you at school, but that question seemed a bit strange to you, but just to you. Everyone else was looking at the teacher curious to hear the answer.
“Very good question, Wednesday. Well, many experts have come to the conclusion that, regardless of having a human form or not, these creatures always have the instinct to kill, to destroy. It is said that every time a dragon is born, humanity loses a century of life expectancy. Fortunately, these specimens are practically a rarity.”
“Rarity? What about me?” You said, drawing the attention of the whole class.
“Ms. (Y/N), raise your hand to speak...” the teacher said, without looking at you.
“Excuse me, but I think I have the right to speak,” you said, getting up from the chair. “What you are telling is a pack of lies.”
“Sit down, (Y/N), don't make me have to call Weems,” the teacher said, taking several steps back, since you always sat in the front row.
“What you are saying is false,” you said, doing mental exercises as your uncle taught you. If you didn't, things could get ugly. “Dragons don't have destructive instincts, that's what petulant writers with their ass glued to their chairs who have no idea what they're talking about say.”
“Oh, and I suppose you have more information, don't you?” Frampton asked, her voice shaking.
“Dragons have always been defenders of peace and nature until some lords with spears and bows decided that they should slaughter them to the point of extinguishing them.”
“Of course, and those guardians of nature defended it by killing innocent people…” Wednesday said, from the back of the class.
“You have no idea what you're talking about…” You sighed, starting to feel too nervous.
A few knocks on the door interrupted this tense confrontation. Principal Weems peeked out sheepishly.
“Excuse me, Cynthia, can I take (Y/N) with me for a moment?” She asked. You looked at her scared, you didn't have a good feeling.
“Yes, please…” The unpleasant teacher sighed. You clenched your fists and walked through the aisle of desks, while you listened to how your classmates moved their chairs away from you as far as they could.
“What's wrong?” You asked when you left the class. Larissa shook her head, but she didn't answer, simply motioning for you to follow her to your office.
When you entered the eccentric office, you noticed something disturbing. The sheriff and his deputy were there.
“Is that her?” The man asked, looking at you suspiciously. You didn't say anything, looking at Larissa, who nodded with that fake smile that got on your nerves.
“Please, (Y/N), sit down,” Larissa told you kindly. “This is Sheriff Galpin and his deputy, Agent Santiago. They want to ask you some questions.”
“Me? Why?” You asked, while you sat down.
“Relax, it will only be a moment,” the assistant answered you, with a tone of false kindness.
“Well, (Y/N), your file is amazing…” The sheriff said, flipping through some papers. “I must admit that when they told me you were a dragon, I expected something more… Terrifying…”
You didn't respond to that comment and you noticed how your hands began to sweat, slightly showing your scales, something that embarrassed you.
“Well... tell me, miss, where were you yesterday at 4:30 in the afternoon approximately?” He asked, turning on a recorder. You immediately widened your eyes and looked everywhere, feeling cornered.
“This is an interrogation?” You asked annoyed, confused.
“It's just a few questions, (Y/N), it's okay,” Larissa told you, resting a trembling hand on your shoulder.
You snorted and after blinking several times, you cleared your throat.
“I was in the woods,” you said sincerely.
“What were you doing in the woods?”
“Running. I go running every afternoon,” you answered again. You had nothing to hide, although the image of that torn apart body was still very present in your head. That interrogation had something to do with it, you were convinced.
“Yesterday was a rainy day…” the sheriff said, with a suspicious look.
“I like the rain,” you answered.
“And this boy? Do you like him?” He asked you, handing you the photograph of a young boy. You looked at it well. You've seen it before, at least his head. It was the murdered boy. You shook your head, handing the photo back.
“I don't know who he is,” you said, crossing your arms.
“Are you sure?” Galpin insisted. “Because by chance this poor boy was seen entering the woods at 4 in the afternoon and half an hour later he was found dead. What a coincidence.”
“What are you insinuating?” You asked, noticing the sweat falling from your forehead.
“I'm insinuating that you were in the woods at the same time, and, well, given your nature, it's not unusual to think that…”
“Oh no, please…” You sighed, almost laughing. “You're not thinking that I was the one who…”
“The body was found brutally dismembered, obviously in a way impossible for a human being, but that fits a creature of your characteristics,” the sheriff interrupted. You shook your head, unable to properly respond to those accusations. You looked at Larissa, asking for help, some support, a presumption of innocence. You only found more prejudice in her look, concern.
You had heard how Weems seemed to want to defend Nevermore at all costs, but you saw how those rumors seemed not to be true, rather it seemed that she thought you were guilty. It would be useless to want to defend yourself. You were there, at the scene of the crime, you were a monster.
The only thing that could save you at that moment was the advice of your uncle, a lawyer before he became a farmer. They not were comfortable with your presence on the farm, but he respected family above all else, and he helped you whenever he could.
“I have not done anything. I was only there by chance,” you said, trying to appear sure, firm.
“We'll see about that, for now, come with me to the police station…” Galpin said, gesturing for you to get up. You looked back at Weems, who seemed to indicate with her eyes that you do as you were told.
The whole school saw you walk out with the sheriff, enough humiliation for that day.
There they took your fingerprints, a more official statement, but they let you go, they had no real evidence for their misfortune, but they warned you that they would be after you.
You walked around the quad, ready to go back to your room and sink into bed, crying. But the gazes of all the students were strangely riveted on their mobile phones and glanced at you from time to time.
You didn't understand anything, but you knew that something very bad was happening. Larissa told you that one of the students had a blog in which she shared things about Nevermore and other gossip things. As if by a premonition, thanks to the extraordinary abilities of your ancestors, you picked up your phone and took a look at the blog.
Your suspicions were fulfilled. There was a new article in it, talking about you, how dangerous you are, with information that the stupid Frampton must have told them, about your species, the danger people are in with you and how avoiding you could save their lives.
You were burning with rage and the scales were beginning to show on your skin. With your eyes, you looked for the author of that infamous blog, Enid, the cheerful and gossipy werewolf from Nevermore. You soon located her, chatting with her friends at one of the tables. Puffing, blowing smoke out of your nose, you moved closer to her.
“Hey, what are you up to? What the hell does this mean?” You asked abruptly, showing the phone to the young woman, who seemed scared when she saw you.
“Don't talk to Enid that way, you monster,” a girl with sunglasses said unpleasantly.
“Well, then she shouldn't talk like that about me,” you said. “Hey, why did you write that?” You asked the young woman, who seemed to be trembling with terror.
“Enid only does a public service,” Wednesday answered, appearing behind you. You shook your head with a desperate smile on your face.
“Look, you have fed me,” you said, taking a step closer to the blonde, who had hidden behind the vampire.
“Hey, don't come any closer.” A boy approached you. He was wearing a ridiculous wool cap for what you assumed was one of those disturbing gorgons. He was not alone, a gang of what looked like bodyguards accompanied him.
“Ajax…” The blonde murmured.
You didn't understand what that attitude was about. You never hurt anyone, ever. Now you were seeing how a whole school of people who were supposed to be just as mistreated as you were terrified by your presence.
“I'm not going to do anything to her, I just want her to delete her last blog entry…” You explained, fed up.
“You shouldn't exist,” a boy said, hidden behind the gorgon boy.
Some murmurs proved that he was right and they began to approach you, you did not know with what intention.
“Leave me alone,” you said when everyone started pushing you. Your self-control exercises were not enough for such a threatening situation. It was absurd to think that any of them had any chance of scratching you, but getting angry was not the best of their options. You closed your eyes, trying to ignore the words that accused you of being a murderer while those who thought they were the bravest shoved you.
Your body was relaxed and in the end you were knocked to the ground. In your head you imagined calm hills, a sky full of clouds, while you felt the feet of your companions on your back. Your heart was beating fast and you were unable to concentrate. Anger began to rise through your body, your hands began to shake and you opened your eyes, screaming loudly.
All the people who were hitting you immediately shot away. Some came back for you, this time with the humiliation of having exposed their ridiculous strength. You got rid of them one by one, throwing them against the wooden tables.
When you realized what you had done, it was already too late. No one had proof that you were the one who murdered that boy in the woods, but now you just gave it to them. The bullies no longer approached and looked at you in terror.
“I'm sorry, I…” You stammered, looking at the girls that were still at the table, hallucinating. All except Wednesday, who looked at you with satisfaction.
“My God, (Y/N)…” A voice interrupted that tense moment of silence. One of your teachers, Marilyn Thornhill, came up to you with wide eyes.
She was not like the rest. It's not that she had a special attitude towards you or anything like that, but at least she didn't seem to act like the other teachers and she treated you well. You liked her from the first time you saw her, but your depression and the trouble you started to get into had made you to forget your feelings. Now she had seen you hit your mates and that would lead to Weems, and Weems, to the sheriff.
“I…” You said, watching all the guys you hit get up.
It was too much. There was no longer any doubt that you were the murderer. You had just demonstrated your outrageous strength in front of them and a teacher. It was only a matter of time before they came for you, that they took you to the police station, that they sent you to jail or a mental hospital for lack of a better guilty. It was a small town, and you knew how small towns worked.
You were cornered and you had no other options. You had to run away, run away forever. You escaped from the courtyard and quickly went up the stairs. Luckily no one seemed interested in chasing you. You closed the door from the inside and after several minutes crying non-stop you got up and took your hand to the bottle of pills.
Live a miserable life or end it all. At that time you were looking at the pills with trembling hands. A creature like you couldn't be locked up in a jail or a mental institution. You would die slowly.
“Better now…” You sighed, opening the bottle.
The minutes pass and with them, the hours. You were not brave. Not even in the horrible situation you were in you could act. There was no light in your room anymore, it was night. It was weird that no one had come looking for you by then. You didn't think about that anymore, you just debated between life and death with a lost look and your thoughts wandering, as if your own mind was trying to distract you so you wouldn't make that horrible decision.
Just when you finally seemed determined to end it all, someone knocked at your door. Too late, they were already coming for you. You could transform, break the bars and run out the window, it would be easy. But your body stopped. You did not move from your position and the knocks on the door were repeated.
“(Y/N)? Open the door, please, It’s Miss Thornhill…” It was heard behind the armored door. You didn't expect that. It wasn't Larissa, it wasn't the sheriff, it was your botany teacher. You shook your head and put the bottle down on the table again, while hesitatingly you went to the door, turning the keys.
The redhead surprisingly seemed to be alone. She was holding a tray like the ones in the dining room and on her face there was a smile with a tenderness that you had never seen in that school.
“Hi honey, can I come in?” She said softly. You still suspected it was a trap and hesitated, leaning on the door.
“What do you want? Are you coming alone?” You asked, getting nervous again. She looked at you pityingly and shook her head, still smiling.
“I come alone, (Y/N). I was thinking that you would be hungry...” She said, moving the tray.
Your stomach rumbled at the sight of the dinner you had forgotten about and you seriously meditated for a few seconds. Marilyn hadn't acted like the rest of the people in Nevermore, she didn't seem like someone to run away from. After a few seconds, you decided to open the door all the way and let her in.
The redhead walked into your room and she gestured for you to sit on the bed. She sat next to you and put the food on your lap.
“Tell me the truth. Weems sends you to take me with her, right?” You said, starting to eat dinner. “I’m arrested, punished, or both…” She laughed.
“No, honey, you're not arrested…” She said, staring at you as you wolfed down your dinner. You stopped eating and frowned. You were a bit confused. It is true that she was different, but in the time you had been in Nevermore, she did nothing to get close to you.
“I don't believe it, you were there when I hit those boys…” You whispered, setting the tray aside. Marilyn agreed.
“Yes, I saw everything, that's precisely why you're not punished,” she replied.
“Sorry, but I don't understand…” You murmured, shaking your head.
“I've seen how they messed with you, (Y/N), I can't say that this was the right action, but surely anyone in your place would have defended themselves. Don't worry, Weems knows it and she's not going to do anything.”
“What? Why not? Everyone here thinks I'm a dangerous killing machine,” you said, surprised. Marilyn laughed again. Her attitude was one of the strangest for you, but her tone of voice reassured you, she gave you peace.
“Not all of them, (Y/N), I don't think so,” she said tenderly, caressing your cheek. Your body began to burn at the strange sensation of her hand against your skin. Surely your cheeks would have already given you away and would be red.
“Do you... Do you think I'm innocent?” You asked, astonished. You knew that she was normi, that she had no power. If there was anyone with real reason to fear you, it was her, someone who was completely unaware of this world of outcasts in which you lived. But quite the opposite, she seemed like she was the only one who believed you. Little by little the idea of the bottle of pills faded away.
“I don't think so, (Y/N), I'm sure,” the redhead said, removing her hand from your cheek and looking at you now with a melancholic air. “You will find it incredible, but I know what you feel, despite not being a creature as magnificent as you.”
You couldn't help but smile. No one had ever told you that dragons were magnificent. You were so moved that even tears came back to your eyes.
“Wow, you're the first to think that way,” you said in a whisper. She smiled again, but she took a breath to continue speaking.
“I know what it's like to feel alone, (Y/N). I lost my family when I was very young, and I have always lived between two worlds. I was always too odd for normies and not odd enough for outcasts. I have lived all my life in an isolated limbo.”
You listened to her story carefully. It had quite a few things in common with yours, even if it wasn't a scaly, fiery creature.
“I, I'm sorry,” you said feeling sorry for that woman, who seemed like the kindest person in Nevermore.
“Don't worry, I've gotten used to it. Listen to me, (Y/N), don't waste time with those wretches,” she told you, now looking at you fixedly, with a slightly darker tone. “They don't deserve your attention.”
“I don't want their attention, I want them to leave me alone, I haven't done anything to them…” You said, crossing her arms. Marilyn sighed and nodded.
“They, their nature is to hate the different ones and make an excuse that they are the ones who suffer hate. They are like that, honey.”
“So why am I not like that? Well, I mean, I'm one of them too,” you said, thinking of those words. You couldn't find a way to not agree with her.
“You have nothing to do with them. You are unique, they are hundreds. They are cowards, arrogant... But you shouldn't worry about them, do you hear me? They don't deserve you to cry for them... “ Marilyn said, a little closer, almost in a whisper.
You agreed. Perhaps you expected another type of speech, someone who told you that you were all the same or something like that. However, she also seemed to have been teased by Nevemore. How such a kind and innocent woman could feel this way made you realize that she was right. They were arrogant, they did not share they world, they did not let anyone who was different enter it, a different outcast and a normi seemed to be the cause of their problems. Old stories that your uncle used to tell came to your mind. How hate was able to transform people.
“In any case, (Y/N), even if it doesn't help, maybe you could stop by the conservatory some afternoon, and so you can talk to me about your problems and I'll talk to you about mine, is that okay with you?”
You smiled at the proposition. You were no longer alone and you were beginning to realize it. You could not fix everything, at least you could escape the black hole in which you lived for a moment.
The following weeks were somewhat different. Everyone in Nevemore continued to hate you, but little by little you began to ignore them, to contain your rage when someone pushed you or insulted you. It was partly thanks to Marilyn. You listened to her and after classes you began to visit her in the conservatory. You both talked, you laughed... It was a somewhat strange relationship, but it was a relationship. She wasn't afraid of you, she always told you so.
The small attraction you felt towards her intensified. You didn't know if it was because of the pity she showed you, out of pity, but she treated you well, she caressed you from time to time, she listened to you, she understood you...
“Blue moon?” You asked, while you watered the plants.
“Yes, it happens every many years and it sure is a sight worth seeing, don't you think?” Marilyn said, leaning on her desk.
“Maybe it is…” You said joking. She smiled.
“So? Shall we meet tonight in the woods? I promise you won't regret it,” the redhead said, getting a little closer to you.
You turned red, a night meeting, in the middle of nowhere. You knew there was chemistry between you, but your fantasies always stayed inside your room, they never came out. At that time many images were going through your head. Did she feel the same way about you? Or were you just two outcasts in a outcasts’ school? If you wanted to resolve those doubts, you should go to the woods that night.
“Um, okay… Tonight in the woods…” You said with a smile. She laughed and without expecting it, she gently kissed your cheek, leaving you paralyzed.
You left school when the moon shone with all its splendor. Somewhere howling was heard. Your stomach turned at the thought of your companions. Having someone to talk to, managed to bring out some hatred that you had generated towards all your classmates. You might think that hate was wrong, that it's the opposite of love, but Marilyn never said that. She always agreed with you. At first you found the way she talked about them shocking, but soon you enjoyed her cruel comments, always with that innocent smile.
There was no need for light in the woods, the moon was more than enough. You hadn't seen Marilyn, but you were very confident, you were convinced that she would show up.
The lake reflected the moon while you waited for… Your date? You had left early, so you were not in a hurry, you dedicated yourself to throwing stones and making them bounce in the water. Time passed little by little and your nerves began to send you warning signs. There was no sign of the redhead.
You sat on the cool grass, looking at your phone from time to time. No one showed up for an hour. Perhaps something had happened, but it seemed unlikely to you. That she would consider meeting you alone for the night as inappropriate was much more likely.
Sighing with great disappointment, you got up and brushed the grass off your clothes, heading back. A creak behind you stopped your steps. You looked up at the trees, which swayed in the wind.
“Marilyn?” You asked the air, without getting an answer. You weren't scared, you were always the one who scared others, but a chill ran down your back and your senses focused on a dark figure that, thanks to your vision, you could distinguish between the trees.
The wind sent signals to your fine ears. Unfamiliar growls could be made out in that same direction. You had no reason to run, but curiosity made you go closer to the trees. A black shadow pounced on you.
It was a monster. A monster with disproportionate claws and eyes. You fell to the ground in fright, looking at how that creature roared with satisfaction, raising its claws to attack you. Your reflexes acted in your favor, causing you to roll on the ground, escaping the claw.
“Shit!” You yelled, leaping to your feet as the monster roared at having missed. You became defensive, surrounding that creature, which kept stalking you, hitting you with claws from which you could miraculously escape.
Failing to attack you, the monster went into a rage, rushing back at you. This time you were able to get your claws out, grabbing his, sinking into the grass by the force that that dark being did. You couldn't think straight, the fury of that thing was inexhaustible. The image of that devastated hiker passed through your mind. You didn't take long to relate concepts. Surely that would be the monster responsible for those crimes.
Now it was clear to you, if you managed to defeat him, you could clear your name and put the constant visits from the sheriff and the blatant interrogations behind you.
“Okay, you horrible thing, you're going to do me a big favor…” You sighed when you felt how one of his claws scratched your skin, making a wound and tearing your clothes. “You wanted it.”
You took off the trench coat you always wore and began to gasp, your eyes beginning to glow dangerously. It was a clear, lonely place. You could see the lights of the academy, but no one would notice.
The monster stopped mugging you, it just looked at you curiously, while your clothes were torn. Your teeth grew, the scales on your skin turned red, and your body grew and grew. With a roar, you jumped, when, under the blue moon, a majestic red dragon appeared. Feeling like this was a relief for you. It had been too long since you felt that way. Your wings moved, keeping you in the air.
Like a wolf howling at the moon, you roared. You looked down, seeing the monster now as if it were a mere puppy.
With just one claw, you knocked that creature down, smashing it against a tree, which snapped, causing an even more sinister rumble that night.
The monster didn't seem to want to give up, and he stood up, snarling in fury. You went down to the ground, approaching that strange being with a roar, ready to do justice. His claws reached your chest, but immediately after, you grabbed that monster by the neck, lifting it off the ground. The creature roared in fury, digging its claws into your arm. You were going to squeeze that thing until it burst, but before you could, a voice appeared in the woods.
“Tyler, stop it!” It was Marilyn, who appeared among the trees. The monster stopped moving, stopped resisting.
You looked at the woman, surprised. The situation had turned absurd in a matter of a second. Marilyn was talking to that monster, while she was looking at you with admiration.
“(Y/N), do you hear me?” She asked, looking at you curiously. The shock made you paralyze, but you soon nodded, implying that you understood her. You were unable to speak while transformed, but you still had full consciousness.
“Please, let it go,” she said to you, with a somewhat fearful voice, and it was not for less, she was talking to a dragon.
You looked at that monster, which was hanging from your claws. Now it seemed harmless and questions began to appear in your mind from all possible places. Wanting a million answers, you set the monster down gently and began to relax, shrinking in size, gradually returning to your human form.
When you were in your normal form, you ran for your trench coat and quickly covered yourself with it, your gaze fixed on that creature, who was waiting patiently next to the redhead.
“What's going on? What... What is that thing?” You said, shivering with cold. Marilyn didn't seem nervous being around that monster and that was very disturbing.
“Calm down, (Y/N), it's harmless,” she told you, not answering any of your questions. You looked at that creature and then at the redhead, who looked at you satisfied. “You are incredible, (Y/N), a magnificent creature, just as I thought…”
After those words you shook your head, feeling dizzy from the transformation, but above all from the confusion.
“I... I don't understand anything...” You said again, with a hand over your eyes, making an effort to understand.
“Soon you'll understand, honey. Tyler, become human again,” she told the monster, which agreed immediately, reducing its size and transforming into a boy, more or less your age. He was staring at you with a half smile. “Please go get dressed right now.”
The boy looked at Marilyn and nodded again and went into the trees. The fact that he was naked went completely unnoticed by you. Marilyn looked at you curiously and moved closer to you, placing a hand on the wound that protruded from your chest.
“Are you okay, honey?” She asked with a tender but disturbing voice.
“It's just a scratch…” You said nervously, moving away from her touch.
“Well, scratch or not, it has to be healed…” She said, ignoring your desire to back off.
The boy appeared again, now dressed. You, who were waiting for the redhead's caresses on your chest, looked over her shoulder, keeping an eye on that mysterious boy.
“Oh, don't worry about Tyler…” Marilyn said, covering yourself well with your trench coat. “He does what I tell him.”
“I... I don't understand anything...” You said, overwhelmed by the circumstances.
“It's very simple, (Y/N). Tyler, come here,” Marilyn said. The boy moved automatically, like he was some kind of robot, getting right in front of you. “Shake hands with (Y/N), she has been a formidable rival for you, don't you think?”
Tyler reached out his hand for yours. You were suspicious, you had seen what that boy was, despite his angelic face. You shyly shook his hand and he smiled.
“I've never seen anything like this, you're very strong, (Y/N),” he told you with a soft, innocent voice.
You shook your head, speechless. You winced as your wounds began to demand your attention.
“Come with me, honey… Let's heal you to a place where we can talk. Tyler, you drive.”
You got into a car with the boy and Marilyn and after five minutes of traveling in complete silence, you arrived at an apparently abandoned house.
You didn't understand anything, but you followed the redhead into the building. It was a dilapidated house, but well preserved, especially one of the bedrooms on the upper floor. Marilyn sat you on the bed and caressed your cheek, studying your reactions. You were almost in shock, with a lost look. Tyler was also standing there, expressionless, looking at you.
“What are you doing there like an idiot? Go get the first-aid kit,” Marilyn ordered, pointing to the door.
“Yes, Laurel.”
You blinked at the way the boy called your teacher and you were finally able to react.
“Laurel?” You asked. She looked at you with a mischievous smile and nodded, sitting down next to you.
“It's a long story, (Y/N), but don't worry, I'm going to tell you…” She said, uncovering your wounded chest. You instinctively covered yourself and she smiled amused.
“Are you ashamed?” She asked jokingly. You nodded, realizing there was nothing under that coat. “You mustn't honey, you can trust me… The question is… Can I trust you?”
You were going to babble nonsense, but Tyler came back into the room with a white box.
“Wait outside,” Marilyn told him. He nodded, and giving you a strange smile, he left the room.
When it was just her and you, avoiding your defensive movements, she managed to take off your coat, slipping it off your shoulders.
“Be nice, will you?” The redhead said, pulling your hands away. You stopped fighting. That was so strange that not even your shame was able to outshine it.
“I don't understand anything…” You whispered, hissing in pain as Marilyn began to heal your wounds.
“Tyler is a Hyde,” she said dryly, glancing at you briefly. “A powerful creature that obeys the commands of a master.”
“A Hyde? Mrs. Frampton never told us about…”
“Oh, of course,” Marilyn said, laughing. “Those idiots never see beyond themselves. There are more Hyde in the world than dragons, but they prefer to mess with you, typical of the outcasts, harass the weakest.”
“You… You say that he obeys a master… You….”
“Yes, it's me. I managed to unlock it shortly after arriving at Nevermore. It's easy to do it if you know how,” she said without giving importance to the fact that she had a terrible monster under her orders.
You thought of each of the revelations. Monster, hiker, deaths. Soon some dark areas began to lighten in your mind.
“The hiker… So it was Tyler who…”
She nodded impassively, while she passed some bandages over your chest, wrapping the wound well. When she finished, she sighed and unexpectedly placed a brief kiss on your lips. If you hadn't been so confused and scared, you would have trembled at that unexpected act. You opened your mouth to say something, but found no words. It was all so surreal that you thought it was a dream, or a nightmare, a nightmare-dream, or something like that.
“Why?” You asked. Not even you were able to know if you were asking about the monster or about the kiss.
“Because I like you…” She said, amused, putting your coat back on. “You are beautiful and very strong...”
You blushed, but before falling captivated by her words, you shook your head.
“No, I don't mean… I mean… why a Hyde? What do you want it for?”
“Oh, my sweet girl... You're so innocent... I need it to get rid of all those Nevermore outcasts. You see, my name is not Marilyn Thornhill. My name is Laurel Gates,” you nodded with wide eyes, ignoring the first part of her words.
“Laurel Gates…” You repeated with a small voice. The name was not at all familiar to you.
“Yes. I’m the daughter of what was the most important family in Jericho, I descend directly from Joseph Crackstone, the founder of the town and well... This is my house, by the way.”
“Um…” You stammered, desperate because that information seemed irrelevant to you.
“My family had been fighting for centuries to end this scourge of outcasts, to purify the place where their children grew up, but unfortunately, those soulless beasts ended their lives. Nevermore and all his spawns killed my family, I was left alone.”
You now began to understand, not only what had happened that night, but also all the strange phrases that she said from time to time in your talks in the conservatory. Things about how bad your peers were, about the supremacist nature of outcasts.
“Them?” You asked. She nodded, her expression hardening for a moment, before smirking.
“But, it will soon be over, (Y/N),” she said, patting your legs. “My family was always one step behind them, I have… Another way of doing things, a little more… Supernatural one… Tyler is just a pathetic simple tool to get everything I need. And now is when my proposal comes, (Y/N).”
You nodded, understanding where the conversation was going.
“Tyler is a good slave, but when I saw you giving those wretches what they deserved… When I saw what you were capable of, I realized that I was completely wrong. You are stronger, smarter, faster, more powerful... And above all, you also want them to pay for everything they have done to you, I see it in your eyes, you hate them, (Y/N), just like me.”
“I… Well…” You stammered. You were suffering contempt, plunged into a depression that your new companions only made worse.
“They do that, (Y/N), they steal the little happiness you have, they leave you alone, isolated, without hope. It's their specialty, (Y/N),” Laurel said, with a sweet voice, trying to convince you that this crusade was the right thing to do, that they should disappear.
You remembered that fateful afternoon, the one you said goodbye to your family with the bottle of pills in your hand, about to do something crazy precisely because your colleagues refused to give you a chance, to see you as if you weren't someone dangerous, a murderer.
You had no reason to think that they deserved to live, that if you had done what you wanted, they would have won, they would have claimed your life and they would not have cared. In your murky thoughts, you imagined some kind of banquet or celebration after your death, like those medieval songs in which the monster was defeated and the village held an ostentatious banquet together with the defeated beast.
You didn't want that, now you could change history, be the one who won. It was a tempting idea, revenge, make everyone pay for their prejudices. You weren't a bad person, you would never hurt anyone. Throughout your life you had suffered because of the people around you, your parents died because of those people, like Marilyn's, or Laurel's.
“I… I don't know…” You said stammering. “I have never wanted to hurt anyone...”
“I know, my love, you are a good girl, you are not like them, but tell me, what did they for you? Only to suffer at the hands of those monsters...” Laurel said, approaching you, sitting down next to you again.
“I… It's probably just that…” You said, getting very nervous, looking for some excuse to prevent the idea from sounding better and better in your head.
“What, my precious girl? Do you think they deserve to live longer than you? Wouldn't they do the same with another person?” Laurel said, pouting. You had no answer for that. You were good, you knew it, just imaging a person with hope, with a little more joy in living, suffer the same contempt, the same sinking, the same descent into hell made you burn with rage.
“You, you're right…” You said, raising your head. Laurel smiled at you, but she didn't say anything, she just kissed you again, like she was somehow sealing some kind of contract.
“My love… Of course. Together you and me, we will be invincible... Good will triumph, you'll see...”
You nodded, growing disturbingly sure of what you were doing. You could taste revenge, you could take pleasure imagining all these outcasts paying for what they did to you, what they did to Laurel. You secretly loved her, she secretly loved you. Still not sure she wasn't using you, you hugged her, crying uncontrollably into her shoulder.
“Shhh, don't cry my love… Calm down,” she told you, caressing your head gently.
“I don't know if I should…” You sobbed. “Everyone believes that I killed the hikers…”
“That's okay, calm down...” She told you, sounding a little impatient. “Calm down, (Y/N),” she said more roughly, shaking you.
You were scared by that almost aggressive attitude, but you made an effort to remain calm.
“What…? What are we going to do?” You asked, controlling your crying. Laurel smiled, seeing how you finally relaxed.
“To begin with, we are going to get rid of two problems at once. As you know, Tyler has been doing me… favors…”
You stood pensive, thinking about how the monster certainly looked like the mysterious hiker killer.
“He is the murderer… You, you ordered him to…” You said in a very low voice, beginning to being scared.
“My love, everything I do, I do it for the greater good, I hope you understand that…” The redhead told you, cupping your face in her hands.
“Why do you have to kill people?” You asked, looking into those dark eyes that didn't look like your sweet teacher's.
“That doesn't matter, darling, they're just pawns in a bigger game…” She whispered, very close to your lips. You nodded, somewhat puzzled. “For now, let's get rid of that suspicion, Tyler!” She yelled, making the boy appear in the room instantly.
He looked at you and nodded, waiting for his mistress's command.
“Tyler, my good Hyde, are you willing to do your mistress a big favor?” The redhead asked, with a childish voice.
“Of course, whatever you want…” Tyler murmured, puffing out his chest, feeling proud of what he did.
“Well, I like it that way,” the redhead said, getting up and lightly caressing Tyler's cheek, which made you feel a little angry. “Listen carefully, because this will be my last order. You're going to confess to everything you've done, of course, without mentioning me. You will go to your father's police station, drenched in blood and say how much you enjoy murdering poor hikers.”
You listened carefully to those words. The real culprit would finally confess, freeing you from suspicion.
“Okay, what do I do next?” Tyler asked, with that disturbing angelic look on his face.
“Oh, well, nothing, just spending a few decades locked up in jail.”
You looked at her immediately. You only knew about Hyde's nature from what Laurel told you. It seemed to you that such a request was crazy, that no matter how slave he was, it couldn't seem like a good idea. You were wrong, the boy smiled and nodded, leaving the mansion.
“Now, honey, you must return to Nevermore before they miss you. Tomorrow will be a new day, the beginning of our new life, together.”
You obeyed, a little dizzy. Everything had happened very quickly, you had made too important and dangerous decisions, but a smile marked your face, your eyes shone with a different, evil shine. The end of your suffering was finally approaching, and that made you happy.
That night you didn't need medicine, you slept calmly, in peace. In the morning you noticed the first consequences of what happened the night before.
The looks of hatred and fear that your companions directed at you changed. Now they seemed to avoid looking you in the eye. A hand on your shoulder snapped you out of your thoughts.
“Um… (Y/N)…” It was Enid Sinclair, the gossip who advised everyone to stay away from you. You looked at her with a frown. Her face was embarrassed, apologetic. “I, I would like to apologize for… Well, for all the blog stuff…”
You crossed your arms. You thought about everything they had said about you, students and teachers. You thought about that afternoon when you were about to end your life, you remembered why you wanted to do it.
“Perfect,” you said, turning. She grabbed your wrist, preventing you from escaping from her.
“Uh, seriously, (Y/N), everyone here was shocked when the sheriff's son confessed… No one knows what to tell you, but everyone is very sorry.”
You laughed cheekily, a mocking laugh. Yes, they were sorry, just as if you had decided the path of surrender. Surely they would cry, they would wonder if they were really the culprits. It was ridiculous, an apology that, if you hadn't met Marilyn, you wouldn't have been able to hear. An uncontrolled rage seized you, imagining what it would be like to have left this life knowing that in the end, the real culprit was not you, how they would have won.
“Come on, don't be so dramatic…” Enid said, pretending to be joking. “Everything is cleared up now.”
Those words completely unhinged you.
“I’m dramatic? You are the ones who made life miserable for me. Did it amuse you to see me suffer? No Enid, I do not accept your apologies, neither yours, nor those of any of you. You think that making value judgments is your strong point, that you are the victims, that the rest of us are the executioners, but you are wrong, you are only an elite of weirdos pretending to be the masters of the universe,” you said, breathing with increasing difficulty .
“Eh, don't go too far,” Wednesday said, who was next to her.
“I'll do whatever I want!” You yelled, drawing the attention of the entire school, including Principal Weems, who hurried over to where you were.
“Ms. (Y / N), is something wrong?” She asked with a softer tone than usual.
“No, nothing's wrong,” you muttered, looking at her with hatred.
“(Y/N), I am very sorry for everything that has happened these last few weeks. All your classmates are looking forward to apologizing to you, and you should be nice and accept their apology.”
You laughed again, feeling how your scales were beginning to appear on your skin. There were only two ways to transform yourself: by wishing, or in a very important stressful situation, like that one.
“I don't have to accept apologies from the people who almost made me end my life…” You growled, with an increasingly guttural and deep voice. Larissa looked at you, shaking her head, and she started to freak out. “And you are the worst of all, looking at things with your own magnifying glass, pretending to be the destroyer of walls and barriers, the principal who pretends to be the liberator, the unifier of normies and outcasts. But it really doesn't give a shit to you. You just care about continuing to put money into your checking account without worrying about the welfare of the students or staff.
!(Y/N), you're playing with fire, calm down right now or…”
“Or what? Hey? What are you going to do to me? Lock myself in a room with electrified bars, call my uncle and say that even the great Larissa Weems couldn't beat me? You are just another outcast, arrogant and petulant like the rest of the people who live here.”
Your voice was already practically unrecognizable, you felt how the clothes imprisoned you, they felt much tighter. You knew what would happen in just 10 seconds, but the anger you felt didn't matter to you. Al hands until two warm hands landed on your shoulders. You recognized that perfume. Laurel.
“Hey, (Y/N), calm down…” she told you softly. You looked at her and closed your eyes. You knew what was going to happen but thanks to that interruption, you were able to stop yourself in time. The clothes stopped squeezing you and the scales disappeared. You blinked and shook your head, looking around the huddle of students that had formed.
“(Y/N)…” A terrified Larissa said.
“Don't worry, Larissa, I'll make sure she calms down…” Laurel said, with her Marilyn tone. The principal narrowed her eyes, but seeing that she somehow acted as a relaxing balm for you, she let you go with her.
Once in her room, she sat you on her bed and sighed.
“Are you okay? She asked her affectionately. You shook your head and started to sob.
“No, I'm not feeling well. Now they pretend to apologize to me, to pretend that they haven't done anything to me... It's... It's unbearable...”
She growled affectionately, pulling you into a tender, understanding hug. You hung on to her clothes, letting off steam.
“Calm down, darling, you shouldn't waste time and strength with those people... It's not worth it... It's only you and me that matters, remember? You and me.”
“I, I know but…” You said, being interrupted by a passionate kiss from the redhead.
“Do not fear for them, soon they will disappear and you will not have to worry anymore, honey... It's a matter of time... In the meantime, the only thing we can do... Is to love each other...”
After those disconcerting words, the kisses returned, this time wilder. Little by little you left, forgetting about your little crisis and giving yourself over to everything Laurel tried to offer you. Kisses, caresses, gasps that turned into moans, in the rubbing of your naked bodies, in words of love and victory, in a new dawn.
Every time she caresses you, your skin burned. When her fingers entered you, you seemed to freeze, forgetting your problems, regretting wanting to leave this world without feeling what it was like to be loved. The decision you made was difficult, it wasn't morally correct, but you knew you couldn't live without it, that little act of unbridled passion proved it to you. You could be much better than Tyler, you would be her lover, her slave, without the need for forced servitude, knowing that the only thing she had to dominate you was your heart in her hands.

as an avid aces hater when are we gonna wake it up how a’ja is doing now, what stewie has done for YEARS, all while they discredited and invalidated it when stewie did it because of “seattle being a superteam” and how it didn’t really count because she had sue.. sorry it’s just funny to me
well I have MANY thoughts about this lol. so let's go.
people act like what vegas has done is something unique and special, having all those number one draft picks, growing and building something together, blah blah blah. the seattle storm did it before vegas did, but I watched plenty of people say they didn't like them and it was bad for the game that they were winning. in 2020 someone legit called them a superteam so it's not impressive before the superteam talk really began last year. the seattle storm were never a "superteam" by what we know a superteam to be. sue, jewell and stewie were all number one picks, just like those aces players. sami and AC were players no one gave a shot and only became who they are because seattle gave it to them, and they developed into solid, solid pieces in that system. the only notable player they got in free agency was natasha howard but she was not the player she is now, she became that WHILE in seattle. vegas didn't do it all entirely organically, chelsea gray was not an original piece, they got her in free agency like they got CP3 in free agency. as for the stewie and a'ja part of this, stewie could do a million things right but it would never be enough to impress that side and I'm vice versa it's the same, but I have NEVER seen a fanbase more vicious about their preference than the aces/a'ja/sc side. when it was stewie vs a'ja for MVP in 2022, I distinctly remember people saying stewie can't be MVP because she has a bunch of number one picks around her, but somehow that wasn't a disqualifying factor for a'ja who did as well. and those teammates of a'ja's were ALSO in the MVP convo, whereas stewie's teammates were not. stewie's team record was a disqualifying factor for her MVP case, because her team was 4th. despite the fact that she singlehandedly dragged them to that top 4 finish, without her I don't think they would have gotten there. that seattle team was not as deep or on that year as they were in the past. VALUABLE is in that title, so you tell me what added the most value to their team in that run? they said it should only go to the best player on the number one team. but I'm sure now this year, that somehow will magically not be a factor in a'ja's case given vegas' record halfway through the season. they will be the first to complain about goalposts moving all the time, but no one moves them more than them. and guys, these people couldn't STAND that storm team. I'm serious. when someone said back then it was bad for the league that seattle was so stacked and winning, I remember asking was it bad for the league when the lynx were stacked and winning even MORE, did y'all hate them as much as you do seattle? do they hate vegas that much now? no, clearly they don't. I'm sure they think what vegas has done is just fine. and mind you, seattle was doing all that without being the shady POS vegas has been over the last few years. people conveniently overlook that, too. they hated seattle simply because they were good, they hated sue and stewie, and always wanted to start some campaign that jewell was overlooked and should leave when jewell made it clear REPEATEDLY that was the place she was happy. and there were media who very much played into this whole thing, people who were able to get credentials to interview people like sue or stewie, but then talk shit about them constantly on their little twitter accounts. all seattle ever did was be good and love on each other in their little family bubble and people couldn't stand them. it's funny as much as it's not funny, really.
but anyway. it's fuck all of them and vegas forever until karma finally does it's big one or whatever. side note: at least my MVP hasn't ever been super chummy with a weirdo super fan who is also an abuser, so. I at least can always feel good about that.
#many of the new fans are vegas supporters too like someone unlock the lore for them. that organization its fans so many ppl around it SUCK.#breanna stewart#sue bird#seattle storm#answered#anonymous#my stewie anons

hello! ive been keeping up with your writing for a while and i was just curious, do you have any plans to continue stone in your water? no pressure ofc, just wondering :)
If it takes another 6 years it will be completed, yes.
The more complicated and slightly more serious answer (although i am very serious about finishing the fic) is that as we wind closer to the end, i find it more taxing to make sure all the pieces are in place to bring the story to a close without leaving any ends hanging. There are also a lot of emotions going on that need careful consideration given certain recent events - so along with navigating their new bond and sorting out how to address some other issues - as well as the just bringing it to a satisfying close in general (i know what's going to happen ultimately, but weaving the story around it is blah), things have just been going a bit slowly.
plus tbh i though writing in past tense for the Hades & Persephone au would be a good exercise and now i keep giving myself psychic damage every time i try to write in present tense again.
anyway here's a (very long) segment from the next chapter, where i explain Rita taking over as Headmistress and Tissaia and Vilgefortz seizing control of the Chapter
Yennefer is not the only guest at the meeting, of course. Rita's warm presence alone is enough to tell Yennefer that her ponderous thoughts this morning were accurate: Tissaia is stepping down as Rectoress.
"You seem weary, Tissaia. Have you come to vacate your Chapter seat as well?" Artorius drawls when the announcement has been made, voice dripping with feigned boredom.
"Yes, the running of your little school is hardly reason to call another meeting so soon—particularly after you were so quick to depart the last one," Stregobor complains. "Why have you gathered us here?"
A flare of annoyance from Tissaia shoots across their bond, and Yennefer furrows her brows slightly. She wants to bite back—she’ll only be able to take so many of Stregobor’s disingenuous comments—but she holds her tongue and focuses instead on reassessing the barriers around Tissaia's mind.
All seems well.
"Quite the contrary, Artorius," Tissaia is saying, ignoring Stregobor’s interruption for now. “For too long I have been torn between the duties of two different stations. Henceforth I intend to dedicate my full attention to the oversight of the Brotherhood. I think we can all agree that these are trying times indeed, gentlemen; the Brotherhood needs guidance.”
A breath of silence—and then, from nowhere, someone laughs.
Vilgefortz, Yennefer realises when he clears his throat to speak. "Well said, Tissaia; after all, it was the efforts of our mages which kept the Nilfgaardian horde from crossing the Yaruga. Might I be so bold as to suggest that the Brotherhood requires not only guidance but… a new direction, even?” he muses. A beat. He makes a thoughtful noise before continuing, “The Archmistress has my support.”
[...]
“I knew it was a bad idea to fill Vanielle’s seat with this—this sword-slinging whelp,” Stregobor grumbles. In her mind’s eye, in the disturbance of chaos near his seat, Yennefer sees him wave his arm dismissively.
The absolute gall, saying this in front of the man! Yennefer has little love for Vilgefortz, but she finds herself distracted once again by musings of how Stregobor has maintained his seat in the Brotherhood’s leadership for so long when all he does is provoke the people around him.
Terranova hums quietly in amusement. “In all fairness, they were right. The Blackclads arrive after all—and two days early at that? Had Tissaia and Vilgefortz not rushed to defend Sodden, we’d already be neck-deep in a war we were too complacent to stop.”
“Back to the point, gentlemen,” Tissaia begins in the ensuing silence. “Now is the time for unity, not for infighting.”
Not one to be drawn from his protestations so easily, Stregobor makes a disgusted sound before grumbling, “I still don’t understand why you could not have put this in a letter.”
Tissaia does not quite sigh aloud, but Yennefer is well-familiar with the pinched expression she associates this feeling of irritation with. “Aretuza produces nine out of ten of the mages who serve as advisors on the Brotherhood’s behalf,” Tissaia snaps. “One would hope this Council has significant interest in the future of the school.” She puffs out a breath before continuing in a more casual tone. “Of course, your personal lack of interest hardly surprises me, Stregobor: as much time as you spend peacocking around Thanedd, it’s a wonder your boys even recognise their Rector’s face.”
“<i>Now—</i>”
“Remind me,” Tissaia continues over Stregobor’s interruption, “when was a Ban Aard graduate last chosen for a court assignment?” A moment of tense silence. No answer comes. “Then I trust you have no other protestations regarding the discussion of Aretuza’s future in this hall.”
Growing more irritated (and more unbearable) by the minute, Stregobor makes a sudden noise of frustration. “Margarita Laux-Antille has no interest in politics!”
“That’s the first thing you’ve got right since calling this meeting to order,” Rita interjects blandly, speaking up for the first time.
“Ha! You see—!”
“But, while I have no interest in playing at intrigue as you do, I assure you I am more than capable of staying abreast of the political landscape here in the North and abroad, as is necessary to guide Aretuza and its students. Besides, we have experts for a reason,” she adds in a lightly scoffing tone. “You take for granted that Tissaia has long been part of this Council. I take precisely as much interest in the political sphere as the position of Rectoress necessitates.”
“And it is for that reason that she is here,” Tissaia continues smoothly, cold steel underneath her placid demeanour. “In future, I will act as liaison between the Council and Aretuza. For now, I move that we review the current status of our relations across the Northern Realms. After all, the Headmistress should know precisely where the Council stands—should she not?”
It is not, in fact, a question.

#23. Jace Kaganoff
Your father always taught you that forgiveness is earned, but even when saying all the right things, you find this person hard to forgive. You flee from it to clear your head, but like an assassin’s mark on your back, it follows. For the sake of tradition and the sake of your family you know you ought to let it go. But you can’t, you won’t, and even if it’s selfish you hope that a some point they’ll just let you go.
“jace” means healer. “kaganoff” means descended from the oracle. jace’s family has carried this name for generations, due to the fact that they are some of the first people of kiskkaddon who were able to communicate with the god RANKIMA. jace doesn’t have the ability to communicate with the goddess himself, but as “hearless” ones (as his father called it) he made it his life’s mission to strive for justice and protect oracles and their people from the expanding deserts of kiskkaddon.
41, cis male (he/him), romance: technically. he’s not super into it but he knows how to play the part. sex: technically. same hat. kisk traditions make him kinda blah about it and after miki’s infidelity he hasn’t really been in a horny mood. preference: none (he’s not really into sex or romance, but he feels like its a duty he has to fulfill. if left to his own devices, he would probably find someone else to be with/explore, or he would just not be with anyone).
jace is an imposing figure, standing just taller than dion at 6’5”. he has a broad, muscular build, and his dark hair is in short locs with shaved sides, tapering off in the back, usually with designs shaved into the back and sides of his head. his eyes are a deep red color, almost crimson. his hands are extremely calloused and he has varying scars mostly scattered across his shoulders, which he leaves bare of armor.
a MBW, jace was trained by his father directly to protect the oracle and the people as they traversed the harsh lands of the kiskkaddon desert. his weapon before adicating to lathsbury always rotated due to whatever was on hand; and as such he is trained to use a variety of different weapons: war hammers, swords (of varying sizes, one and two handed), and javelins are the most common he’s used. currently, in guilds he dual wields two cutlasses. being older than many of his peers gives jace a distinctive battle advantage, especially as there are more free roaming monsters on kiskkaddon (and diisai by proxy) as they were not absorbed into the labyrinth like the many that roamed on the mainland. granted, they are much weaker than mainland monsters as they are further removed from chaos, but still they are foes jace has been facing since he was a young boy. he can wipe the floor with nearly anyone, magic or not, though magic users do surprise him especially because (aside from bards) he isn’t familiar with them. the one that surprises him the most is the hexer (or illuminator) erebos, as the man (boy, really) looks physically weaker than him… yet somehow jace still cannot best him in spars.
jace has always been a serious person. its the running joke (at least among those who know him and his family well) that he’s becoming the walking, talking version of his father. which, makes sense, that in many senses, jace tries to emulate his father and his father’s legacy—not because he was forced, but because he greatly admires him for his tenacity and the willingness he had to give everything for their people; even his life. many of his father’s lessons jace takes to heart including the message “forgiveness is earned” because it is. to say sorry means nothing. to make up for your actions is where the true value is… and this is where he’s currently at with his wife, miki. despite the fact that, to his knowledge, he killed his best friend over this, jace still cannot shake the bitterness and the anger he feels towards her for betraying his trust, and doesn’t truly trust her when she says she’s sorry, because it doesn’t feel like she’s making an effort to make anything change.
despite this, jace is so old man coded LMAO. he’s kind of stubborn and stuck in his ways, definitely views those (especially those in their 20s) as kids and worries over them as such, and shows his care through actions instead of words. coming to lathsbury was supposed to help him heal and face his demons and he’s still working on it, for better or worse.
3 fun facts about them: jace talks in his sleep, usually about what food he wants to eat for breakfast the next morning. he’s very much a “foodie” in general, and part of the joy he’s gotten traveling away from home to the mainland is all of the different foods that he’s never had before. he also has one silver streak of hair, but since it’s at the back of his head, he doesn’t know that its there.

Do you have any recs for the black phone?
DO I????
Do you guys know how exciting it is to get an ask that isn't about Avatar? Don't get me wrong, I love the Avatar ones, but the other kinds are such a fun change of pace. I have an equal obsession with a lot of other things, if not a bigger one.
So, I have a03 collections for a lot of things, and I do have one for The Black Phone as well. Check out The black phone was legit just like a fine movie it wasn't even that good why am I neck deep in this fandom sometimes I add more. As a massive fan of Steven King's IT (Reddie fics that don't make me think about the fact that this is a horror novel), I absolutely adore horror gay children, and as a massive stan of Donna Tartt's The Goldfinch (the goldfinch fics that don't make me sad and feel hatred towards english majors), I also love doomed love stories. Blah blah "the real horror is the blatant homophobia and trauma inflicted on the children that causes the death of pure imagination and dreams" there are better posts and essays written about that. So naturally I am a rinney stan so it's all rinney fics.
WARNING: This movie is a horror movie about a man kidnapping, heavily implied to be sexually abusing, and straight up murdering children, so there are some serious content warnings for some of these recs. Read at your own discretion. Avatar is a fandom I read pretty light shit for, I don't for The Black Phone always, so I'll try to be super clear with them.
the electric, synthesized, rock ballad of why finney blake can't have nice things by ECLIPSEWXTCH. I literally just made a post about this fic in relation to the pink concert. It's a modern au rinney fic where Robin and Finney lost touch as kids and find each other again as young adults, Robin a successful musician and Finney a student in college. If this fic is never completed I will burn this website to the ground. I have no content warnings for this fic unless you have an aversion to pure wholesomeness. Content warning for there never being as good a boyfriend as Robin Arellano? But we all knew that already.
Coffee boy by mikki_strange. It's a coffee shop au, man, it's adorable and it made me happy. No trigger warnings or anything, simply rinney fluff.
Holding On and Letting Go by Nizhoni93. CW: homophobia, implied underage rape, legit so much trauma and sadness. This is SUCH A GOOD FIC, oh my god. It's one I've reread a couple times now, despite it's length. I have recced this before because I brought it up in reference to the beloved and famed nocorro ghost au. Holding On and Letting Go is the INSPIRATION for all my sad nocorro ghost thoughts. It's entirely from Robin's first person pov after Finney has killed the Grabber and they other boys have moved on. Robin can't leave Finney, and spends his time haunting the other boy and watching as he suffers while Robin struggles too. It is. The biggest bummer ever. It's so heartbreakingly tragic. Even as Robin is describing all these big feelings, his love for Finney or the guilt he feels for having hurt all these people with his death, he'll say something like "And I was thirteen" and I remember he's a fucking eLEMENTARY SCHOOLER. I cried a counted total of nine times reading this fic. Highly recommend especially if you're into the nocorro ghost au. The chapter where the psychic tells Robin he's only hurting Finney by being there? I'll literally kill myself. The homophobia is fairly blatant, and although mentioned rarely the rape and Robin's disgust and shame around it is a hard read.
We Stand Together by HeavensAether. Serious trigger warnings for this one. It's almost a dead dove, tbh. Basically a rewrite of The Black Phone where all the kids are alive and in captivity at once, so they develop a fairly strong bond. The main draw for me was the psychological depth it takes into Finney as he works with the ghosts around him and tries to retain his sanity, his relationship with Robin, and the mystery of how they'll get out with Finney's powers. If dark bummers of a fic aren't your jam, this isn't for you! CW: underage rape, disassociation, homophobia, transphobia. Tbh the rape is (while not graphic) fairly disturbing and goes as a method of showing a characters disassociation. If it was in an earlier chapter, I'd probably not have continued reading. As it were, it's pretty easy to skip those parts, which I would recommend as what little I did read I did not enjoy!
And You Keep On Living by Nichknack (BBCotaku). CW: more common The Black Phone homophobia and also trauma and abuse, but I think so far this one is non-con mention free. It's basically just a post movie fic but where the timeline changes essentially, Finney and Gwen wake up and the ghost boys are all back and the world around them doesn't remember the Grabber and all of those events never happened. Some good rinney as always with a side of brance and it's very interesting, I can't imagine where it'll go.
Five Times Someone Discovers Finney is Spider-Man (And One Time He Is The One To Say It) by sleepysheep (mynameistadashi). CW: nothing let the boys be happy and in love and full of friendship. This one is a silly and cute rec, it just makes me smile. Let the boys be happy. It's just as it sounds, it's Spider-Man Finney and a 5+1 of everyone discovering it.

Love Again
Harry Styles x F!Reader
Rating: Allowed for minors.
Words: 848
Warnings: fluff, just married.
Author comments: hello, my loves! This is the second fic I post with Harry Styles as character, and I took “Love Again” by Dua Lipa as inspiration (actually I wrote a few things using her Future Nostalgia album as inspiration). English is not my first language, so please, be kind. Requests are open and you can subscribe your user on my taglist sending me a message via ask box. No more blah blah blahs, let’s read! I hope you enjoy!
Harry could feel something different in the air, the adrenaline was running madly through his veins. Seemed like all those years weren’t helping him at all, or preparing him for one of the biggest challenges of his life, and that had nothing to do this his career. He dated someone for a long time and he thought she would be the one, but since she left, breaking his heart, he never thought that he could find a way out. He trusted her with open heart and eyes closed, and it looked like the void she left on his chest and the wounds would never heal. However, he met you. For a while he doubted he could hear his heartbeat so loud one more time, but when he figured it out it was too late.
He was lost in his own thoughts just by looking at you, and he only wake up from his daydream when he listened to the music, playing softly in the bedroom. You were naturally beautiful, but that night was different, you were looking like a goddess. He wanted to record every singe part that the image of you, sitting on the bed, wearing veil and wreath… It was too good to be true.
“Finally married.” You smiled, looking deep into his infinite blue eyes, touching his hand with the wedding ring recently placed on his finger.
“Finally married,” Harry repeated, smiling back. He stood up and stretched out his hand to you. “I wanna dance with you.”
You got up smiling and interlacing your arms around his neck, kissing gently Harry’s soft lips. “I love you.”
He just looked into your eyes one more time, static, but very, very happy.
“I love you too, honey” Harry whispered against your neck, pulling you by the waist and tangling his arms around you, bringing you closer to him. The Way You Look Tonight was playing softly and your bodies started to sway from side to side, enjoying your particular paradise.
“I know I already told you this a million times but I can’t help repeating you this today. Baby, do you have idea we just got married? Do you have idea we’re going to spend our wedding night here and tomorrow we’re going to the canyons for our honeymoon.”
“I guess I’m living a fairytale.” You hugged him tightly as if you wanted to merge into your groom’s body. “Babe, what you wanted to say you already told me a million times?”
Harry’s arms left you, and something felt wrong. He could feel he was overreacting, but each second away from your body heat, away from the protection of your arms, the affection of your eyes and the depth of your love seemed like too much to handle. He sat you on the bed and sitting by your side he looked at you, kissing you tenderly. Although he could look like someone serious sometimes, Harry had the sweetest pair of blue eyes anyone could have. He held your hands and took a deep breath to start speaking.
“Well, I don’t even know where to start.” Harry closed his eyes and snickered, probably recapping what he had lived since the last years until there. “There was a moment in my life, mainly after, you know…” You nodded, without taking your eyes off of him. “I started to think, well, I used to think I was made of stone. I spent so many time on my own, I never knew I could dance in someone’s arms anymore.”
“But you did.” You smiled, your cheeks slightly warming. You had already received lots of compliments and declarations from Harry before, but being right there, looking at his passionate blue eyes, dressed as his bride, in one of the most important days of your lives. It was too special.
“We did.” Harry smiled while speaking, narrowing his eyes and showing how watery they were. “You don’t have any idea of how you brought me to life, you got me in love again.”
You dropped a tear, and when he saw your eyebrows arching, he knew you were holding a bigger cry.
“You don’t have idea how you show me every day heaven’s right here. I need your hug, I need you to touch me so I know I’m not crazy. I have never met somebody like you. For a very long time I used to be afraid of love and what it might do, but then you showed up and I knew I wasn’t going anywhere.
“Oh, Harry, I’m not going anywhere either!” you answered him with your voice completely shaken. You kissed his lips tasting the salty flavor of his tears. “This is a dream, I finally find someone, the one, I feel completely into you. I already felt fear too, but not anymore, baby.”
Harry hugged you one more time, wishing no, more than ever, for time to stop. He couldn’t feel more grateful, more complete and happier than now, besides of you, the woman of his life.
It was true. You got him in love, and life, again.

OOOKKK SO I wrote this originally on ✨wattpad✨ and it got like 2k reads? But I deleted it (because I’m an ungrateful brat that doesn’t deserve love or whatever) but anyway here’s some story notes before we start
(Also my dumb ass accidentally posted this when it was unfinished and then had to delete it and start all over so…😔😔)
•y/n is a 25 y/o MALE because we need more male y/n content
•ej,jeff and Toby have a a brother like relationship, Jeff’s the oldest and ej and Toby are around the same age so you can decide for yourself who YOU think is older MMMKAYYY (i say as I bat my pretty little eyelashes at you)
•TW hint at y/n having a past sh problem
•this story is one of those biker sand pit show thingys (i don’t know what there called) but anyway short summary, ej and Toby work there part time (and so does Kate but that’s a minor thing) they find y/n they tell them to leave, they don’t so they tell y/n to get in the cage and if they don’t cry they can stay, and Toby ruffs em up or whatever blah blah blah *blows raspberry*
•also ej and y/n are lowkey in a relationship/Situationship and he gets mad jealous when Toby so much as talks to you, so be ready shawty 😈
______GAY PEOPLE<3______
A story by Me…LN :3
(THATS NOT THE NAME OF THE STORY I SWEAR😭😭😭)
“You’re not going,Y/N. It’s not safe.”
-Jeff a total of 5 hours ago when him and the pastas that could conceal there identities said they were going to a “cool motor party” or somthin I don’t know I heard party and saw my change to finally get out of the house. So I took it and snuck away when Jeff wasn’t paying attention and now I’m at this big ass party- more like event. Jesus have you seen this place???
I roll my eyes at the thought, and take a look around, the first thing I see is Kate selling drinks, and I knew it was Kate because Of that jacket she always wears, with a motorcycle cycle helmet on, I guess the employees have to wear them? I don't fuckin no, so I walk over to the stand, the top of the gazebo is blue, probably one of those cheap ones from Walmart or some shit, anyway | greet her, she recognizes me and hands me a red solo cup of [insert what you want to drink here lolz] and I wave bye and walk off.
I stop at the gate, the motorists are practicing before the show, so everyone here has a chance to roam and stuff, and y' know, get robbed or something, anyway I'm completely focused on these men, just wandering about, engines blare, sand is getting thrown from the weals.
And then I feel it, hands,No knuckles, rubbing up and down my back, I whip around, about to slap the bee-Jesus (ya like jazz 🐝??) out of the person who had the nerve to touch me…and then I paused.
“Oh…hey Jack.”
He had a helmet on, to hide his..demonic..appearance but I knew it was him, from his gloves, he wore them so no one would see his claws
“Hello love, I thought you weren’t aloud to be out here?”
“Because Jeff told me it was “dangerous”? He literally uses me as a “get out of ass beating free” card every time we’re on a mission together, I don’t value a single thing he says.”
He places his hands on my hips, lightly pulling me in
“Well, it’s good to see you.”
He smiles. God why do I fall for the dorks..?
“It’s good to see you to.”
Then Toby comes up behind him, rolling his deep, dark umber eyes (yes I did google “different types of brown” for this,SHUT-)
“Jesus could you be any more gay???? Like seri-seriously. This is just sad.”
He says with a stutter
“Kind of hard to be a dick when you have a chronic stutter problem gay boy”
(GOD I FUCKINH LOVE COLOR CODING.)
He rolles his eyes, his face mask slipping lightly off his nose,so he moves it back up, then his phone rings,he huffs and pulls it out of his pocket and picks it up.
“WHAT.?”
Me and Jack look at each-other
“Jesus fuck Ben are you serious??? You had one job. One fucking job.”
He looks pissed, he wasn’t usually this easy to aggravate.Maybe his bipolar is acting up?I think he might’ve been out of those meds.
“You.”
Toby points at me.
“What.”
“You’re getting in the cage.”
“No the actual fuck he is not.”
Jack says, I can feel his grip on my waist tightening
“Fuck off Toby.”
“No. There not even supposed to be here. You heard Jeff.”
Jack let’s go of my waist, getting in Toby’s face
“Oh yea? And you’re gonna do what. Make them??”
“No. But how about this? They get in the cage, and if they make it out without pissing there pants they can stay. Ok!?”
Jack turns to look at me
“Sure I guess”
I say with a shrug
_____________________________________-_~____
As I get into the cage I feel Toby eyeing me from afar
“Ok so all you have to do is keep your arms up or close to your body, and if me or Toby hands you anything keep it close to your body ok?”
I nod
“Ok great, the show will start soon, so just be ready.”
Then he walks out of the cage and after a few minutes I hear engines blaring, people cheering, so I throw my arms up and wait, the black tank top I was wearing lightly rising up, and in a moment there was a man in the cage with me,the visor on the helmet lifted so I could tell who it was,it was Jack, I’m surprised he could operate a motorcycle with such lack of vision.
He did rings around the cage, as he went his hands layed on my chest, shoulders, waist and back, he loved to touch me, that was evident, his favorite activity when we were alone together was to trace my scars, getting visibly upset when I told him there was more then the ones on my arms, he hated the idea that I wanted to hurt myself, and that I used to.
After about 5 minutes of spinning he exits the cage, it goes silent for a minute, and it stays silent..and it stays silent.. I want to turn around, to see why it was so silent, and then the noise started back up again, thankfully, and Toby entered the cage.
He however was not as fun to be around as Jack, he was going insanely fast around the cage. Batting at me with his nails, leaving red marks and lashes all over my upper body, one on my face to, this went on for what felt like hours.
