This was a movie that I got turned on to thanks to podcasts. It sounded interesting so it went on my list. I decided to watch it when it was snowy out as it fit the vibe. This has an interesting blend of Lovecraftian with a possible releasing of a virus causing these people to go mad. Borrows elements, but I like what they do with them. Have you seen this? It was so heavy, yet so warm, beautiful and brilliant. #goodtimesbadtimes opener was an awesome opener and slides into #babeimgonnaleaveyou to #williedixon ‘s #youshookme with Robert hitting notes only a dog can hear, with Robert’s Harmonica playing to John Paul Jones great keyboards to Jimmy being that perfect guitar playing! Yeah you really shooked me!!!! Then it’s #bonzo no ham crushes it on #dazedandconfused and I remember this song live when Jimmy would pull out a violin bow and create sounds that improvised sometimes as long as 30 minutes and I am glad Jimmy revived it for the #ahmetertegun tribute in 2007. ( to this day I pinch myself that - not only did I get to go, however exclusively distributed all the imagery from that show and I just love #marcreiter for making it happen) #youtimeisgonnacome intro is seriously one of the best opening intros to a brilliant song - I love how the band #travis used it to open their shows. #communicationbreakdown could be the first metal song . I can play that song over and over and never get tired of it. Yeah this album song for song changed my path , like how #blackmountainside with the tabla played by #viramjasani and the great acoustic guitar playing. #icantquityoubaby was recorded live in the studio- it feels live . Oh all the great times I witnessed the power of this band in#detroit at #olympia and #cobohall and to have had that experience in 2007 ( I did see Jimmy a few years after that gig at a wonderful fish and chips joint in #marylebonevillage called #theseashell and he just told me and my friend Eddy how he so loved that show.
