Guys, I swear, I’ll get back to working on that art challenge at some point, I’m just taking a small break cuz uhh it’s my challenge and I do what I want.

Anyways, DESIGNS!!

This is for that lil Marvel AU me and @braveboiart are working on. We only really have ideas for Ghost Rider stuff, so I figured I’d get around to designing the main demon characters.

Obviously, mostly based on the 2007 movie, cuz as far as I’m aware, the Hidden are like, original to that movie and don’t really show up anywhere else. Which is a shame cuz I think their concept is really neat.

Anyways, BlackHeart and the Hidden are also vaguely themed around the four horsemen. Because woahhhhhh a group of four antagonistic characters that are like. Demons. Idk I thought it’d be silly.

There’s a lot more shit I could get into, like how demons work in our AU but uhh I’ve yapped enough already

I refuse to believe the Young Avengers were a stable superhero team. They are the most toxic hateful teen friend group ever. the cassie-jonah-nate love corner that escalated to homicide. the spirit twin combo of "i have no idea how to control these powers" and "i have control and also live to antagonize all of you". kate bishop w her three different romance storylines – sometimes at the same time – with members of that same group. the bickering and gossip and general animosity. you'd think oh wickling is fine, they're a stable relationship. WRONG. DAVID WITH A STEEL CHAIR, A CRUSH, AND AN EXISTENTIAL CRISIS.

and after that's done, he hooks up w the brother of the guy he just convinced Teddy to take a break from dating. then america chavez is over here raised with the idea that her now-teammate is a god who created her world.

so you think. surely that's it. what more can there be. fuck u. spirit twins' demon brother is currently propositioning cassie's dead (ex??)-bf & also young avengers member. everything's on fire and they all hate each other but there's no one else they'd trust to watch their backs.

If I'm ranking comics based on the number of moments that I could see going viral out of context on social media, the Avengers Academy Holiday Special certainly has a lot of them lol.

Congrats to Blackheart for trying to learn what humanity is like by becoming a cocky twink. Congrats to Normie Osborn for not really understanding what communism is.

Congrats(?) to Norman Osborn for having apparently called Scrooge a cuck enough times that his grandson internalized it.

Congrats to Nate for having apparently just made himself a member of the student body without anyone noticing or objecting. (Hazmat and Carol do eventually do both, but like. Dude just hid among the students for a hot minute with no complaints.)

And, most importantly, congrats to Bloodline and Escapade for still being gay.
