Ok guys, before barty and reg got together, I think regulus would TOTALLY do those weird manifesting spells. Like not to make barty love him, but just for barty to make a move or something. Like the kind where you sit in front of a mirror with candles and write things on paper that you burn with different herbs and flowers and chant stuff. Like he'd be sitting there crossed legged on the ground saying "please knock sense into him universe🙏"

#thinking a lawttt about how pyrite was described to be the same color as a peach a lot#the freckles as described in the id are supposed to make her look like the inside of a peach#she has scars all over her body bc she was enchanted to be really clumsy so i would imagine she would be constantly getting hurt by acciden#her feet [and other skywing feet] have a fifth toe on the back kinda like raptor claws that they use for balance and grabbing things#in winter turning the original pyrite[?] was described to have black eyes so i gave her really big pupils -#- that would probably make her eyes look black head-on#she has lil bear ears btw !! i think skywings and icewings have bear ears bc theyre smaller and wont get cold as easily . also theyre cute#i just thought the crest of spines would look cute but then i realized the resemblance to icewing spikes so i added them to the tail too#the antler horns looking like icewing reindeer horns also wasnt intentional i just wanted them to look unique -#- instead of the generic straight horns or curved i usually give skywings#i think she has quite a bit of icewing remnants left over despite the spell actually#like i would imagine her fire is weaker than the other skywings and would be a lot less hotter#she also instinctively isnt used to skywing proportions hence why shes sitting the way she is with her legs all weird and wings not closed#other than that shes rather boring and isnt very flamboyant bc i think scarlet would think she doesnt deserve it#i dont really have any other design notes everything was added last second or by complete accident gafksndkxk#I JUST REALIZED THE THUMB ON HER WING IS BACKWARDS . I have to admit I never even imagined witches to be evil until I came here on tumblr and read some of y'alls analysis of literature and other media. The whole evil laugh and brewing potions did not connect to being evil in my mind ever. I was just raised with everyone around me thinking witches were cool as hell.
#my grandmother used to tell me that she was a witch and that her daughters and also me were ones too#and tbh i believed that bc she used to take the pain away with her magic#which was just her hovering her hand above the painful place#and istg it worked every time be it placebo or the#im not going to explain the neural pathways that make thermal and tactile sensations lessen the pain#but its a thing#and all my aunts liked witchy stuff#they made runes on pebbles by painting the sigil with a nailpolish on them#my grandmother also told the future by regular playing cards#i was taught the thing where you hold a necklace and ask a question and if it swings one way its yes the other - no#both my mom and grandmother have had at some point protective spells in their wallets#my grandmother always made a protective spell on us when we were leaving#i was taught to always greet and thank the mother of forest when going mushroompicking/collecting berries#me and my younger aunts (i had 5 year difference with the youngest) were always up to some weird stuff#like you know lighting a candle by the window and repearing a phrase to see how your fated one will look like#a lot of things in midsummer with flower crowns were done for luck or once again to predict the future#oh and the whole holding a metal object that started turning in your hand when you went above underground water junction#there were. a lot of things.#oh and we even collaborated with ghosts#and we had two completely black cats when i was little#and i remember i once found a part of an animal skull on the ground and i felt overjoyed#so yeah thats how i never even imagined witches could be evil#until late teens

#when i was in middle school i used to use red and black pens + spit for blending to make it look like the backs of my hands were torn open#i can't believe it's almost 4am. i just spent 5 hours typing up an essay about MM's erik that i just fuckin privated bc i was embarrassed#AND I STILL NEVER SPELL HIS NAME RIGHT THE FIRST TIME AAAAAAAA#i was right but im going to save all my points for the fanfic im currently planning out and promptly NEVER GOING TO ACTUALLY WRITE#I say shoving my plans for my h2o s3 rewrite off the table#yes i skipped from s2 to s3 i had a BRILLIANT idea [season 3 h2o spoilers ahead be wary my mutuals who are still watching]#okay so you know how lewis goes to the american institute of marine bio in the middle of 3? since this is tied to my s2 rewrite fic i wante#to actually finally reasonably re-introduced dr denman to the story because i never liked that she just fucked off at the end of s1#despite WITNESSING the moon pool magic. so i made it so she runs into lewis while doing a presentation for the college and they have a chat#(because her JAW paper plays an important part in my s2 rewrite bc i imagine lewis is the kind of guy who SAYS he deleted every copy of#it... but ACTUALLY he secretly printed himself out a copy to study in private to compare to his own notes bc#[lewis voice] come *on* guys just THINK of the progress that he could make with this! AANH *buzzer noise* dyslexia typo! tried to type gorgeous and got hothroud. not even a my finger slipped on my phone thing i CONFIDENTLY sat at my laptop and typed in hothroud and was like “hey that’s not gorgeous! wtf”
#having dyslexia w/ adhd is so funny sometimes because i was one of those kids who learned how to write read and spell by reading the#dictionary when i fell behind (didn’t learn to read until i was 6 1/2 bc of the dyslexia) and immediately became obssessed with words and#spelling so people use me as a pocket spell check all the time and i usually don’t get a ton of dyslexia typos bc of that. so when i do it’s#the really weird typos. it’s never like thier it’s always ‘i somehow missed every single letter’#i actually didn’t even realize i had dyslexia until i was like 21 because the spelling hyperfixation covered it so good but i very much do.#i have to have lighter text on black background preferrably everywhere for instance or the letters get swimmy. idk why white letters don’t#do that but black ones do but it really really helps lol. except for hothroud. nothing’s gonna help hothroud

minor illusion is honestly the best cantrip for someone who enjoys flavor-text (aka me). spicing up this side rp with some minor illusion work to portray what im talking about more visually. honestly it's a godsend for Fang, who's not the best at words. he can just create some lil illusions to help illustrate what he's saying. and of COURSE im gonna use this plenty. of Course.

So I'm watching Evil on Paramount+ and they were looking up sigils for demons and they found one on a website and I was like huh never seen that sigil before and then they were like it's this demon he controls legions in hell. And it referenced the lesser key of Solomon. So I pulled out the goetia hymns I have and found the prayer to that particular demon. But they didn't use his sigil. Just a made up one I guess for the story? I'm not really sure where this plot is going but I'm having a fun time.

I stopped growing when I was 12, which was annoying at the time because I could no longer loom ominously over my classmates to establish dominance... but now it's great because I can wear clothes I've had for over fifteen years and they still fit!
