idk i seem to like Ino now so here’s some random hc (mixed with modern AU)

• loves sending pictures of cats he met on the street. He would stop midwalk just to pat a cat, cooing to it like a baby. If you live with him, he has three cats at home, all were picked from the streets.

• explain a bit too much on things. He would LOVE podcasts and discussions especially about cursed techniques and combat techniques.

• Actually a great listener. Gossiping with him would be fun. He doesn’t have much input because he’s not that sassy but he looks like he’s into it.

Lamenting how difficult it is to get into popular TCGs now.

Like, I don't intend on actually playing Pokémon, I'm just collecting those cards for fun so I'm not fussed so much about that.

But I had enjoyed Yu-Gi-Oh, but I ultimately gave up on it. Partially because I only have one friend now who has expressed any interest in playing again, but mostly because trying to get the right cards and build a deck powerful enough to actually enjoy playing and not get annihilated in about 0.5 seconds proved super difficult, when there's so many people out there willing and able to pay ridiculous amounts of money to get one or two absurdly overpowered cards.

I have looked heavily at Flesh and Blood (and I'm still kind of eyeing it up), because the card art is cool as shit, and it's newer in the grand scheme of TCGs so I was like, "hmm, maaaaybe I'd have a chance to actually build a competitive deck still", but I don't have any friends that actually play it, so not only do I have no one to teach me how to play initially, I also have no one to play against long term anyway lmao.

As for Magic the Gathering, Bailey was heavily into that a couple years ago and tried to teach me but I didn't find it that fun. And as far as I can tell, it's probably the worst for select groups of people having ridiculous, unbeatable decks.
