Look. I am not mad at the Bad Kids specifically for killing the Rat Grinders. Because those are fictional first of all and it's gonna happen. I saw someone say that any one of us would be making the exact same choice, and I agree with that. I do however also think it's dumb to act like the RGs are uniquely evil, when in the same vein I'm pretty sure 90% of people when presented with "come back in service of this god or die permanently with no chance at the afterlife" would be in the same position as the RGs as well.
The things we can blame them for are the things they did BEFORE they were rage starred: literally nothing. They did nothing, to the point where none of the BKs knew they existed. Acting like they deserve to die for the things that came after when they had the influence of a God, a wannabe god, and their trusted teacher/vice principal pushing them to do it IS victim blaming. That is an insane degree of grooming and not one of you would do any better resisting it than they did. They're victims of their circumstances. The BKs actually being in the scene don't really have time for empathy, the audience absolutely does. And it grosses me out to see a bunch of grown adults on tumblr celebrating the gruesome deaths and violent lowkey-misogynistic threats levelled at some of these highschoolers.
It is also just narratively unsatisfying that the anti-pointless violence season about how you have to be mindful and temper your rage with doubt is ending by just Doing Violence Harder, but that is equally a restriction of the medium. It's somewhat missing the themes for the Bad Kids to have been going "wow it's so weird that everyone's so mad at us" all season and be presented with a reason (rage stars/dust) that means they need to employ doubt to work out what parts of their rage are really the fault of the actor, but then completely ignore that part and deliver way worse threats (and actualisations) of murder and desecration than any of the rage-dusted people ever did and without the excuse of Ankarna's influence. It does seem like if this were a premeditated plot rather than improv it should have gone differently.

Are you like- The official author of 'Greatest Civil engineer' series? Or did I miss something-? Cause I've been thinking you were this whole time yet one of my friends stated you were nothing more than a fan account. And I kinda wanna say their wrong- but I have no proof of confirmation.
Don't answer if you're not comfortable though- I won't mind being unanswered ngl, just giving me and my friend something to debate about.
there is nothing i can say to make this funnier you won this one nonnie
no as far as i know i am not korean author bk moon official writer of The Greatest Estate Developer
i am so confused as to how you ever arrived to the conclusion that i could possibly be. i literally have over two hundred posts about how lloyd and javier should kiss each other with tongue. i posted llojavi yuri two weeks ago. i'm obsessed with a minor character of the sequel that appears for less than 1% of the novel. i don't even speak korean.
i'm not shaming you i swear i am just so confused as what could i have possibly done to give you the idea that i was the author please i need to know

Reblogged a post on my main about how fandom sometimes forgets what’s a headcanon and what’s actually canon and it got me thinking about Aizawa’s characterization, specifically in relation to Class 1-A and how “dadzawa” just gets on my fucking nerves.
I think in general Aizawa isn’t someone who’s willing to step outside the bounds of a proper student-teacher relationship, he’s much more likely to remain aloof with a strict no-nonsense teaching style like what was seen in the first few U.A. arcs. I think it was simply external circumstance and the fact that Class 1-A is a bunch of bonkers wild high schoolers that made him take a step up from his usual style and offer more emotional support to the kids later down the line. He’s trained as a Pro Hero and a teacher, two jobs which require both mental fortitude and compassion for others, and Class 1-A just happens to be a group of students he meshed well with in the beginning, and as the series went along and things became more intense he recognized when those kids needed emotional support as well, but I don’t think it ever really crossed the line from how a teacher or hero would care for them vs how a parent would. I’m also willing to bet most of the kids whose families we haven’t seen are already fairly emotionally supportive. I don’t think very many of them are actively looking for a pseudo-parental replacement in Aizawa to begin with.
This isn’t to say I think all “dadzawa” fics or headcanons should be razed to the ground I just think people sometimes read an adult genuinely caring about a child under their care and protection and turn off their brains and close their eyes and slap the “dad/mom” label onto them far too often. Aizawa has Eri and while I think her story was also dropped too soon for as much emotional weight and narrative potential she has, I like to think she was his first real step into fully taking care of a kid who looks to him for support in all aspects of her life that he can’t just keep at arm’s length or be his normally-strict and coldly logical personality around.
You can add nuance to character relationships and personalities while also not straying from their core principles it doesn’t hurt I promise

Sagi's adventures after rekting a fucking bird
Man I was wondering what was the point of AoEs in this opus, until this stupid bird that pops up two chicks and creates another chick when one of the two dies, and those stupid chicks heal their mom so much that basically all of your damage dealt is ignored, rinse and repeat -
Anyways that battle was long and annoying, and the OST wasn't there to alleviate the "ugh" factor of that fight, unlike the previous game's long fights.
Love Rodolfo, the amoral (?) guy who's only in for the money to get a cosy position where he would be pampered - the fool achieved his dream, and now, apparently knew Giacomo?
Speaking of the evil, he's so pissed at his defeat that he swears to become stronger enough to fight against people with guardian spirits... hm.
Gotta confess the gimmick of fighting scripted battles where you're supposed to lose is growing tiresome, but at least even Sagi starts to be pissed lol
And back in the world of lore and flashbacks, obviously, the leader of the merry band that's totally not named after parts of the human body was supposed to marry after returning from a confrontation with a god (? wtf is wiseman?), but the god wiped the floor with us and when we return to our base... well, everyone is dead.
And so, the leader's first solution - that cannot be discuted, because he is the leader - is to go to some shadowy place that makes his second balk, but eventually accept to go with him (but leaving the other members of the group in the vague, like when Thoraxn asks who the fuck are we going to meet, no one replies...)
It's still a shitty idea, if you spoke to every NPC (the ones killed in this section of the FB!) they were basically telling you that accepting Wiseman's power was akin to making a pact with the Dark Brethrens... and yet, we're going to a place called the Brethren's keep.
Oh well, the gaudy design was an indication lol, this is the last dungeon from the previous game and basically the lair of the demons our five pals are going to make a pact with, that will totally not beat them in the ass.
:p
Now, I think it was intentional, but earlier in Origins we had the mechanic of "walking slowly so sleeping monsters/enemies won't notice you" explained, and in the Brethren's Keep... well, we meet basically a lot of sleeping monsters/demons, and even some of them...
uh, dancing around one of their friends, like, wtf I can run around them or just stand next to them, and they won't attack me lol
As opposed to the first game where, even if they have their own drills, they will attack you if you're in range!
What can I say, in this flashback (1k years ago) the demons were just minding their own business/sleeping when some schmuck was killing - i mean removing their essence from their bodies to later eat them - everyone around.
And we, I mean, the 5 schmucks, are the ones who come to their abode -> we are the ones asking for their power.
It's telling that Head, I mean, Seph went to them for power and revenge, and not to the other benevolent godly entity that is the Whale (i know), his reasoning is that the Whale dgaf about what happens in the outside world, but hey, the demons weren't either, and yet you're going to them ???
What about siding with the Children of the Earth, the ones who will defeat, in history, the evil eldritch abomination that will totes not be you after making a deal with the demons? Why didn't they try to contact them?
Oh well.
It's the "I want revenge and pick the worst solution", and unlike Kalas, we can't even wonder if everyone was staged since, as I said, the demons weren't welcoming them or expecting them at all.
Still, I love the Endless Night BGM for this dungeon, it's totally not a foreboding that you're doing something stupid that shouldn't be done. Just like the title !

Super curious about Thomas and Avalon's retirement 👀: do they still plan on filmmaking like say, short films and productions to put up in their own theatre or do they want to leave that life behind them?
this is actually going to come up in my RCD rewrite, It Won't Get Better (But It Won't Get Worse) !! so i'm not going to get too into detail bc if i talk about things i wanna write about too much then i. am less likely to write about them <- already doesnt write anything
basically they both decide to retire early due to issues they have with the film industry, specifically all the bs that tends to go on behind the scenes in Hollywood that tends to go hand in hand w that amount of fame and money
they both still love making movies, but a big theme of IWGB will be learning to let go of something you love but is ultimately hurting you. i think they'll occasionally make movies, but defo not on the scale from the height of their careers in hollywood. just when passion and inspiration strikes
& they make sure to support local filmmakers as much as they can of course!!! they want people to be able to make the art theyre passionate about without having to experience the same Horrors that they themselves have
mostly its financial support, but i like to think at some point they both get cast in a horror movie with a plot similar to this song by Bug Hunter
they play the old man who's being haunted (Hunt) and his dead spouse (Avalon)
