i don't tend to get too worked up over how well my videos do. i make them, and a few folx watch them, and a handful of those enjoy them, and that's generally good enough for me.

That being said

That fucking Baby Shark level we played on stream, the one that the video's, like, 40 seconds long 'cause they had the volume jacked so high i couldn't stay in the level? That video? That one?

That picked up 166 views in the short time it's been up, which, for my stuff, is phenomenal numbers, and i can't tell you how much i hate that.

Like, stuff i pour a lot of work and love into, no one will watch those. But Baby Fucking Shark, that's wait puts the punters in the pews.

I hate Tumblr’s moderation system because they supposedly ban NSFW but then they don’t really do anything about it unless by NSFW we mean random trans women existing, and then people don’t properly mark NSFW content because they’re afraid of getting flagged or whatever so then if you actually don’t want to see NSFW content it’s very hard to avoid.

I mean, literally look at #gay or #trans woman for example. There is so much NSFW visible by default. Plus #gay literally has the fun colors which is somewhat of an endorsement of that tag, despite it being overrun with porn.

Hm. So to recap. My knee hurts from my injury so I walk with my weight backwards but that irritates my heels so I put all the weight into the balls of my feet but then my feet hurt and on top of it all my back/hips hurt for reasons unknown.

I think the main reason why fight club is at the epicenter of a lot of forcemasc content is due to how fragile our own masculinity is as trans men (/transmasc people). that fragility leads to us finding something really attractive about destroying ourselves and others to assert masculinity. it's not too dissimilar to how cis men misinterpret it, just a bit gayer.

the messaging in the novel/movie about how fragile masculinity can lead to radicalization is left out, mostly just focusing on the narrator and tyler's dynamic before the reveal that they're the same person. however, it's also stripped from the excessive violence, so what's the point? what's the point in using this when we're not going all the way with it?

yes, my masculinity is fragile. i think more of us share that issue than we're willing to admit, seeing as this kink is based in gender confirmation and affirmation. rarely do i ever see actual force in the forcemasc genre unless another kink is involved somehow.

as people creating forcemasc, we shouldn't mindlessly copy the inverse of how we perceive forcefem content. while they both play with gender, they're still fundamentally different kinks (and neither is "better" than the other, we both have the capacity to be "cringe"). we need to get creative, though, as i see a lot of us doing this.

if you want to invoke that fight club feeling with your forcemasc, it has to be more propagandistic and violent. it has to be completely separated from women and our relationships with them. we do not want to destroy women or have them put up with us, we want to destroy ourselves.

the masculinity isn't what's destroying us. it's the desperation in your look, the inherent masochism of wanting this, it's the shame that comes when people start realizing what you really are. and it's liking every fucking second of it. you like those dog motifs? huh? fucking commit to it, then. hump the leg of your mind.

do away with the immaturity and infantilism and sexlessness that plague this tag. do away with the "masculinity = godliness" type shit as well. do away with the pathologization of the sexiest fucking thing in the world: being able to get off by wanting to fuck yourself. do away with that and create something new.
