If it is ok to ask, how much time does your art take in total, more specifically the rendering?

This is gonna sound like a very generic answer lol, but it tends to vary piece to piece!

If it helps though, I try to always show the total time that each individual part of the drawing process (sketch, ink, color) took in real-time in all of my speedpaints, so if you want to know exactly how long the rendering (/colouring) took for any piece on my channel, you should see it written in the bottom-right-corner of the video! (^^)/

since i've seen others talking about this, as someone who writes predominately lengthy fics (5k+ words), what annoys me the most is that i've seen so many people on tumblr & tiktok specifically say "i hate when writers have too much build-up and don't get straight to the smut, i just skip to it." ???? writers spend HOURS on pieces like that, and to find out you don't really care is very disheartening & is quite literally going to kill not only writing on these platforms but literature as a whole

How do you plan out your stories? Do you come up with what will happen ahead of time or do you just go with whatever your sims are doing?

i've recently fully planned and written a short story ahead of time and it's reminded me why i don't do it.. like the outline is fun to do and i know the end result will be too, but the in between stuff seems to take foreverrrr and i kinda get bored and hate it lmao i prefer short bursts of planning and executing so like rn i have this lil camping trip then i think Robin will go back to school (i only have basic notes on this tho) then it'll be my Halloween special then a surprise! (again not even basic notes on this one skdjskj) then who knows 🤷‍♀️

i usually have a rough idea where i'm going and how character growth will go over time but how we're gonna get there i've no idea! i don't plan ahead very far at all and even when i do it's basic notes or brain rot ideas/scenes.. most of what i come up with is just me playing dolls in my head 🤸‍♀️

It can sometimes take a lot of searching to find a specific dress listing that’s not missing the sleeves or neckties… but it can also be hard to keep track of those parts in your closet!

Detachable parts such as waist ties, sleeves, neck ties, pin-on bows, brooches, ribbon ties, collars, overskirts, etc. If you bought something as a special set (ex: JSK and hair bow that were only sold as a set, not separately) and then lost part of the set, feel free to also mark yourself as ‘yes’. If you bought it with the pieces already missing, that does not count unless you yourself then also lost more pieces.

I’m also curious what people’s thoughts/practices are on storage of detachable pieces- I have a friend who stores all waist ties separately in a special drawer, whereas I keep them attached to the dresses, but often end up storing detachable bows in their own box. What do you guys do?

I feel like another disadvantage of Elle's new school is that it's one without school uniform for Sixth Formers (Y12-13, or 16-18 year olds). For anyone who wasn't sure, there are three varieties of Sixth Form dress codes in the UK:

Official school uniform (possibly different to younger year groups)

Smart/smart casual - one friend went to a school where the students had to wear blazers/suits but outfits could be personalised from there

Non-regulated - basically from a suit to T-shirt and jeans, it was free game (usual 'avoid showing skin' rules typically applied)

Elle clearly has type 3 in contrast to the other characters, who have type 1. And while Heartstopper is better when it comes to Dawson Casting than most other shows (Brown was the oldest of the squad at 22 when S1 filming wrapped up, and Walser was an exception at 26), Elle's fashion is usually more mature with her showing more skin than what is usually considered 'acceptable' for her age (Elle's mother even says so in S2E2) - in fact comparing Finney's Instagram page to comic!Elle, who often opts for looser clothing and rarely shows her shoulders let alone her midriff, it's hard to deny that Finney's image didn't influence tv!Elle, especially when you compare S1 vs S3 (consider her larger, less form-fitting coats in S1 to her crop tops and tighter dress in S3 - she dresses warmer for Charlie's indoor birthday in April than for some of her outings in December).

All this is not to shame teenagers who show skin or to claim it is unrealistic - I was a teenager who owned a crop top and so did many of my peers (though a smaller proportion actually wore them at school). It is complicated having a developing body and trying to reconfigure your relationship to clothing and self-perception, and this doubly applies for trans teenagers, nearly of whom have to deal with gender dysphoria.

However, it can be hard to remember that you are meant to be watching Elle and not Finney herself, and I think this slightly undercuts how insidious the radio interview actually is. Because it's not just 20 year old Finney who's skipping uni or clocking out of her job just to be subjected to transphobia (which would be horrible on its own), it's meant to be 16/17 year old Elle who's missed school for this. I think having her in school uniform would've helped emphasise that this is someone who isn't even an adult having to defend herself against transphobes with no warning.

These undoubtedly long lists included dozens of crows, a hundred friendly smiles, and at least one cake from Caesari, a bakery chain known throughout the city and several coastal villages. Her voice sounded so iridescent and inspiring that Sophie thought that if she looked out the window, she would see hundreds of bars of pure gold, and not a bakery. Lettie, on the other hand, was always gazing out at the river at the edge of the pier — wiser in those years, she always asked her older sister when she would be able to see the sea up close. She knew that it was mostly Sophie's dream, and that made her sigh even heavier."

So over a year ago, I had the pleasure of finding the TARDIS Tin that was made to promote the TV Movie back in 1996. Some of the contents weren't the original versions- the screening tickets are replicas, as well as the jelly babies.

The set of photos (first seen in 2022) were extras to go with the listing. However, the two other photos (on the right) are legit, actually from the original kit.

The press notes are also the og copy as well. I do believe the VHS is the real version, but the case was remade.
