I kept hearing a barely-audible squeaking or chirping and thought maybe there was a flying squirrel about (which would have been amazing too), but finally found the Source and it was this tiny hummingbug! And a nesting hummingbug at that! Love that little nest. 💚

I just realized that I never introduced you all to Katydid, nugget’s cagemate that we acquired over the summer. He was found under the hitch of a friend’s fifth wheel after they’d gotten to their campsite. Which is honestly really depressing because it means his siblings fell out on the way. But on a brighter note, he does not have spinal trauma, and he and Nugget get along wonderfully and banter like the sillies they are.

He really. And I mean REALLY. Likes baths. And he jumps on my hand to play in the sink water every time it gets turned on. He is stupid.

Pair this with the fact that I have Censored, TSO, King of Greed, AIB and, worst of all: QOH and you have yourself a bad time.
