Surprises Chapter 2

Chapter 1, Headcanons

Everyone in the class stayed silent as they processed what they had just been told.

...their Marinette was the daughter of Dr.Strange?

Lila felt a little lightheaded, she knew her lies were dumb and easily see through and that Marinette may have not tried to make anyone see Lila as a liar...but she was confused. Every single time that she spun another lie she would glance around and notice that the class president just watched her and the group she was fibbing to with a small tilt to her head and with a small squint.

Lila didn't realize that this was Marinette realizing how utterly idiotic most of her classmates were. She somewhat considered them her friends mostly because they were friendly. She knew of course that not all of them were really best friends of hers, just acquaintances. But she did have Adrien, Nathaniel, Chloé, Kagami, and Luka so there was that. She didn't mind at all.

Marinette liked to think of herself as both a scientist and a fashion designer, but when it comes to people she gets fascinated by the science part and well...maybe spending summers at Arkham with her father didn't help her from getting dark ideas for science ideas. At least this one just involved intelligence.

The intelligence of her classmates really. They were such idiots, but at least she had Chloé, Nathaniel, and Adrien. At least they had brains unlike the rest of her classmates.

Marinette squints a little and sighs taking out her glasses from her purse, they were circle ones just like her father's. The class, sans the significant three, watched as Mari fixed her glasses and looked up at her father.

"How is everyone?" she asked brightly as she looked at her father.

Hugo looked down at his daughter, "they're doing well, although hearing the news of your arrival almost caused a break out. Jerome basically fueled the idea."

Marinette giggles softly before sighing, "fine let's go."

Marinette stood next to her father as he looked back to the class before pointing at his daughter's three friends and gestured for them to come forward.

Chloé, Adrien, and Nathaniel hurried over to Mari's side and gave her a small smile which she returned as her father led the class to the gates of where the inmates were kept.

He turned to look at Marinette and saw her carrying a few boxes in her hands and raised an eyebrow as she pouts.

"What? They deserve sweets."

Hugo sighs before unlocking the door and leads his daughter's class into the vicinity.

As Hugo walked past cells he glares at the patients who quickly stand up and make their way to see Marinette. He knew Marinette was a good child, well...almost. He certainly didn't cause her like of bloodshed but one of the villains did and she hated those who hurt innocent people. A win win situation for batsy and his partners.

He really did enjoy seeing his little creation at 9 years old standing over a beat up body with a bloody metal baseball bat with Fish standing beside her. Although, Sabine wasn't entirely happy until he reasoned with her that other than martial arts their daughter should know how to use weapons.

The call he got when she went back home and beat a boy bloody on the first week back to school was a fun time.

Hugo gestured every now and then to random places giving information to the class that he knew Marinette knew by memory.

Marinette waved at the patients and cooes at them. Completely ignoring the gaping looks of her classmates and teacher as they watched the classmate that they sort of alienated and teased be at comfort with the patients of Arkham.

Lila felt dread in her stomach as she noticed how quickly the inmates would light up at Marinette's appearance and almost run into the cell bars to greet her.

Hugo spoke about what each cell block held for each group of patients. Having a delight as the students got pale at what they heard.

Soon they came to the dining hall where some of the patients were eating. A few who were used to Marinette visiting lit up and scrambled up from their seats.

Marinette giggles and the class notices how her laughter causes the patients to look calm and the room to light up.

Hugo gripped his clipboard a bit before grunting and glares at the room of patients. "Miss Cheng-Strange will be passing out macaroons to each of you before your lunch brake is over. Once you finish your treat your are to report to your cells. Do I make myself clear?" he says with a harsh tone to which the patients nod to while Marinette rolls her eyes before tilting her head as she smirked a little darkly.

"So...who has been good after my last visit?" she asked innocently as she held the macaroon box close to her.

A few of the patients froze before sitting down knowing that tricking the bluenette resulted in harsh consequences. Those who stayed standing bounced a little excitedly as the bluenette put down a box of macaroons and opened it so the patients standing could go up and get one.

After a few minutes the patients left after their time was up and next batch of patients came in for their meal smiling brightly at the sight of the bluenette.

Lila paled at the sight of all the patients lighting up at seeing the Asian girl that she somewhat hated. If they lit up at the sight of her what would they do if they saw her in trouble? Protect her?

Kill for her?

Possible since Dr. Strange was her father and who knows what he would do to the person who hurt the bluenette.

There was that one time. No one likes to talk about it.

Although the patient was shunned by everyone in Arkham and even the guards were more harsher on them.

But something happened that some of the in Arkham didn't like to talk about.

The rest of the class watched a bit fascinated before paling as a pale, scar ridden redhead walked in smirking widely.

"Mari Mari Mari! Back so soon?" he asked with a wide smile.

Marinette rolled her eyes and smiles, "hey uncle Jerome. How have you been?"

"Ugh so boooored, only broke out once to see Brucey but that curly haired brat didn't want to speak with me after all these years since I've been hidden away here."

"Awww poor you, here. Have a macaroon!" she said with smirk as she made her way to the redhead.

Everyone in the Batcave watched the Akham footage in silence with shocked look in their faces.

"...They all basically brightened up upon seeing her," Damian spoke up quietly suddenly feeling his chest tight.

That was his angel. His angel who happened to be the daughter of the very same man who made metas and such before his father became Batman.

Cheng-Strange was her last name. How had he not done a better background check?

"Jerome?" is softly whispered but everyone in the batcave heard.

"Jerome? Who's Jerome?" everyone turned to look at Bruce as he looked at the screen with wide eyes.

"Someone who caused a lot of problems in Gotham before I became Batman," Bruce said before quickly typing something up in the computer before pulling up newspapers that had to do with Jerome.

The ones that caught their attention was of Jerome's gang when he broke out of Arkham and the Cult of Jerome. The redhead's stitched up face had healed quite a bit well.

"I'm sorry but did she just call him uncle Jerome?" Dick asked aloud which caused everyone to look back at the monitor.

Bruce quickly rewinded a bit of the video and in front of them they heard the sweet bluenette they all love say those words.

"Hey uncle Jerome."

Everyone stared a little unnerved as Marinette giggled at whatever Jerome was whispering in her ear before she playfully slapped his shoulder.

Ms. Bustier was pale as she watched her most nicest student interact with who were well known criminally insane people. She wanted to protest and stop Marinette from being close to the redhead but before she could do so she received a glare from Dr. Strange and she shrinked a little into herself remembering what her student's father called her.

"I believe that is the end of the tour is it not Marinette?" Hugo asked his daughter who quickly looked away from Jerome who stuffed two macaroons into his mouth.

"Oh? Oh yes! Of course!" Marinette said handing Jerome the box of macaroons and walked up to her father and smiled.

"Alright then. Let's go back to the entrance to wait for the bus."

The class went outside, the four friends separating themselves from the class who looked like they were close to wetting themselves.

They were all very much freaking out internally as they processed that their classmate that they've been somewhat bullying was the daughter of a Gotham villain.

Lila wanted to say something so it'd be in her favor but she felt as if it backfire on her.

'Now what?' she thought nervously. She knew Marinette did not buy her lies, but didn't try to warn anyone so what could Lila even do?

Lila stays quiet trying to think on what to do with the information she was just told. She and the rest of the students felt very at unease.

If only they knew that they were going to have other problems while they were in the trip for Gotham.

Because even villains know when to not touch another villain's family member. After everyone knew what happened to Tabitha and Theo Galavan when they murdered The Penguin's mother as well as Fish.

It did not help that all of them met Marinette once and instantly became overprotective of the bluenette one summer visit when she was still just a small child.

A Strange Meeting

This story was inspired by @virgil-is-a-cutie‘s post about an AU where Dr. Hugo Strange is Marinette’s father. I haven’t written in years, so it’s pretty shit, but I definitely enjoyed writing it. It’s almost 3000 words and I’m proud! :) Here we go!

One last romp. This was supposed to be the end, but it sparked a new beginning. Sabine knew that Hugo loved his work. Maybe too much. There was no space in his heart for her, and she grew weary of missed dates, and so many rain checks. She still loved, him, but just couldn’t take it anymore. He did a lot of good work, she just felt like she was just a side fling, whereas science was his wife. She said her goodbyes, but they had one last go before she left, and that changed both of their lives.

~ 14 years later ~

Marinette was way too excited to go to Gotham. There was the chance for her to meet her biological father. Don’t get her wrong, she still loves Tom, and she wears the Cheng Dupain-Strange name with pride since she sees Tom as her primary father figure, she just wants to know more about her history. Her mom told her all about Hugo, and how she keeps in touch with him. Marinette thinks it’s sweet that he’s invested in her, and is encouraging her love for science. Sabine finds it endearing he’s warmer to Marinette than he ever was to her. When Sabine found out that Marinette’s class was going to Gotham, she told Hugo immediately, and the letter read as if he was excited, but Sabine could tell that he was nervous. She wasn’t worried about that, because she knew that once he met Marinette, his worries would be at ease.

The day of the trip, Marinette brought four dozen macarons. Three dozen was vanilla and for the staff so she could impress them, and one dozen was matcha for Hugo since Sabine told her that it was his favorite flavor since she made it for him all the time. She also designed a couple ties for him. She just really wanted to impress him. She knows that her mom told her that it would be fine, and that he would adore her anyway, but she wanted to be sure.

When she got to the school, Adrien was waiting there alongside Juleka, Nino, Max, Ivan, Kim and Nathaniel. Everyone had their luggage in tow, and the air felt charged with energy. Marinette was just full of excitement to see her friend group. Lila’s lies destroyed some of Marinette’s friendships, but these people stood by her throughout the situation, and still do. They’re the ones who are getting her through the whole situation and are her rocks. Juleka actually didn’t believe her at first, but Luka called her out, and made her realize her mistakes. When she apologized, Marinette took it step by step with her, and they managed to get their friendship back to where it used to be. Juleka ran up to Marinette and threw her hand around her shoulder. “I’m excited that we’re roommates!” Marinette giggled and the both of them walking to the boys. Adrien smiled and her and waved. “Marinette! I’m so glad to see you! I’m excited that you’re coming.” Once Madame Bustier called them to the bus, they all started buzzing with excited for the trip.

For the majority for her travels, Marinette sat with Adrien. With the whole Lila situation, she just needed as many friends as she can get. She also knew that Lila was careful around Adrien to protect everything she has with his father. That didn’t stop her from tripping Marinette when they were boarding the plane. Adrien knew it was Lila, but Marinette told him that it was just her own clumsiness just to avoid with issues with Lila and their classmates. Adrien made sure that Marinette sat with him, and they were far away from Lila. He also made sure that she had the window seat and he was on the isle so Marinette doesn’t have to deal with Lila doing anything while she’s walking past their seat.

When they arrived at the hotel, Lila tried to claim one of the luxe suites that was booked for the trip. She claimed some kind of chronic back issues and needed the softer bed. Chloe scoffed and stood in front of Lila. “My dad specifically paid for those rooms for my friends and I. You aren’t my friend and never will be, so. Back. Off.” Lila rolled her eyes and looked to Mme Bustier. “Mme. Bustier, could you please ask Chloe to accommodate me? I don’t think it’s fair that her and her friends get special treatment in the first place, but at least they can give me a space for my health issues.” Chloe scoffed again, but Mme Bustier looked at Chloe made a disappointed face. “Lila’s right you know.” Chloe put her hands on her hips, and hissed at Mme Bustier stating, “My father paid extra for these rooms. Unless either of you are willing to pay him back for a room, I don’t want to hear it. Now suffer Lie-la.” Chloe grabbed Marinette and stormed to the concierge desk with the rest of the friend group followed her.

When they checked in, Chloe made that Marinette’s room was right next to hers. When Marinette got into the room, she laid on the bed and sighed, with Juleka sitting down on the bed. “Hey, thanks for everything. I know things have been hard, but you still managed to be kind to me despite how I treated you.” Marinette sat up and looked at Juleka. Despite them being across the room from each other, Juleka can still feel the emotions in Marinette’s eyes. “You changed your mind and believed me. Even if it cost you your relationship with Rose, you still decided to do the right thing, and I think that’s amazing.” Juleka moved to lay down, and they both laid there silently, thinking about lost friends before going to bed.

When they woke up, it was to someone banging on their door. Marinette looked through the peephole and saw an annoyed Chloe at the door. Marinette opened the door and Chloe stormed in. “Get ready Cheng, we’re going to breakfast. And it’s important to look nice because I’m meeting a family friend. I was supposed to meet Sabrina, but she disgusts me, as well as everyone who believes that idiot, so that’s why you’re coming instead. If you embarrass me, I will never let you live it down. Meet me in the lobby.” Chloe stormed off, and left Marinette looking astounded before quickly running to get ready.

Marinette waited in the lobby, looking around before she saw Chloe stepping out of the hallway. When she saw Marinette, she huffed and checked her phone impatiently. Suddenly Adrien came running towards them. Chloe huffed at him and started walking out to the waiting car. Adrien and Marinette followed Chloe and Adrien chuckled softly. When they were in the car and on their way, Adrien apologized for his lateness. “Dad wouldn’t let me leave until he made sure that my outfit was impeccable. I don’t know why I called him in the first place.” Chloe rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. Adrien and Marinette giggled at her behavior, and they talked the entire way while Chloe interjected from time to time.

When they arrived at the restaurant, Marinette was surprised. It was extremely upscale, and intimidating. Chloe dragged her in, and scanned the place until her eyes landed on a boy that looked about their age. “Bruce!” The boy looked up when he heard Chloe and smiled. Chloe pulled Marinette over to the table and sat down. Marinette sat down next to her, and Adrien joined Bruce in sitting across from the girls. Bruce extended his hand to Marinette. “Hi, I’m Bruce Wayne.” Marinette smiled and took his hand. “I’m Marinette Dupain-Cheng.” “Marinette,” Bruce whispered, as if he was trying her name out, and he smiled softly. Chloe poked Marinette and said “Stop flirting, the both of you.” Marinette blushed and Bruce laughed.

Breakfast went way less embarrassingly for Marinette after that point. She tried to order smaller food items since the restaurant was higher scale, but everyone talked her out of it. She insisted that she wasn’t that hungry, but Chloe and Adrien knew she was lying. Bruce offered to pay for her food, and she didn’t have to have to pay him back, which eased her. She ended up ordering enough to make her full, and Bruce ended paying for everyone since he believed they were his guests in his hometown, so it’s the least he can do to welcome them. Goodbyes were said and Marinette was pleasantly surprised that Bruce hugged her. She felt like he opened up to her, and that maybe he could be a new friend. One that was removed from Lila and was basically a blank slate for friendship. They could be friends without the trauma. Although she was worried that this was a front, and that he was really hurting, but didn’t tell anyone after the death of his parents. She really hopes that he gets all the help needs, and is surrounded by people that care.

When they got back, Marinette went straight to her room and dressed a little more casually for the asylum tour. She grabbed the purse that she packed the macarons in, and ran to the lobby. When she got back there and saw Adrien, it looked like he had the same idea. Adrien saw her and laughed. “Your clothes were a little too stuffy too?” Marinette smiled and walked over to him. The rest of her friends made their way over, and Lila looked at them from across the lobby in disgust. She wanted to get at Marinette, but how can she do it in a way that still makes her look innocent? A plan was hatched, and Lila was almost too excited to put it into action.

When they boarded the bus, Adrien asked if Marinette was excited, and she blushed, and nodded. Everyone took their seats and they were on their way. The bus ride was uneventful, which should have relieved Marinette, but it instead worried her. What was Lila planning, and when was she going to do it? Would it embarrass her in front of her biological father? Will it make him hate her? All these questions raced in her mind and her unease radiated off of her for the entirety of the ride.

When they got into the asylum, Marinette was quite fidgety. She usually learned to internalize these feelings, but it was too much for her. She held her purse close to her, feeling some comfort in the baked goods. A lot of staff members sent soft smiles her, which made her much more nervous and she felt sick, but she ended up pulling herself together. When they got into the staff office, she placed the vanilla macarons a desk. She looked around, and saw him talking to one of her coworkers. She felt as if her heart was ready to beat out of her chest. Her throat felt dry and she felt rooted in her spot. What does she say to Hugo? ‘Hey, I’m the kid you didn’t want, but here I am to meet you, like some kind of haunting ghost?’ There’s really nothing she could say. She was wearing gold and red hair ties since she wrote him that it’s how he can pick her out from the class. He could tell her apart anyway, but she didn’t know that. He was actually quite terrified to meet her, because he didn’t want to disappoint her. But when he turned and saw her class, he knew it was time to face his fear.

Lila looked around, and saw the boxes with the logo of Marinette’s bakery and sneered at her. “Why’d you bring these?” Marinette stepped up and put her hand in front of the macarons. “They’re not for you. Or anyone else from our class for that matter.” Lila laughed loudly to grab everyone’s attention. “You brought them for the inmates, didn’t you? You’re probably related to one of them! It explains your issues.” Marinette stood in front of Lila and placed her hands on her hips. The class hushed, and watched in silence. “I’m not related to one of the inmates.” “She’s related to me.” Marinette turned around to see Hugo in the entry way, and she smiled softly. Everyone looked shocked, while Marinette walked up to Hugo. “It’s nice to finally meet you.” She hugged Hugo immediately after speaking and he was shocked for a second before hugging her back. When they pulled away, he smiled softly. “Your mom has been sending me photos of you since you were born. You look more and more like her every time.” Marinette blushed and pulled the matcha macarons out of her purse. “Mom told me you would like these.” Hugo smiled and took them. “I’m sure I’d enjoy anything you make.” Marinette twiddled her fingers before Hugo cleared his throat and spoke to the class. “Hello everyone. I am Doctor Hugo Strange, and I will be taking you on a tour of the facility. Everyone, follow Marinette.” He started making his way out of the office with the class in tow.

In-between stops on the tour, Dr. Strange made an effort to talk to Marinette. He could feel her happiness radiate through him. The more they talked, the more he regretted leaving her and her mother. He wishes he could take it all back and be able to experience everything, but he can’t. All he can do is focus on being more active in her life from this point on. He was so nervous she would hold some kind of sentiment against him, but she clearly doesn’t, and it made him so happy. All his nerves just melted away. The same went for Marinette. She knew that Lila couldn’t try anything because Hugo would see and punish the class in some way, and Lila would be blamed for ruining the tour. She genuinely had fun.

At the end of the tour, Hugo said there was a special place that he could only take several students to, and that Marinette got to pick. There were enough spots for Marinette’s friends, which she thought was a coincidence, but Hugo knows it wasn’t. He knew of all the issues Marinette was facing with Lila, and thought that it would be great for Marinette to have her friends experience something great for staying with her. He took them into a room in the back, where bunch of people were waiting. They weren’t scientists, nor inmates judging by their clothes, so who were they? One of the people waiting there saw Doctor Strange and smiled. “Ey Doc! Gotta say your daughter is super adorable!” Hugo chuckled and Marinette blushed. “Students, I would like you all to meet ex-patients of mine.” One of the women walked up to Marinette and shook her hand. “Fish Mooney. Nice to meet you sweetheart.” Marinette smiled at Fish. The other ex-patients didn’t really introduce themselves, but engaged with the students nonetheless.

After talking with the ex-patients and learning about their experiences, the group went back to meet their classmates, who looked bitter, especially Lila. Marinette looked at her smugly before hugging Hugo. “Thanks for everything!” Hugo smiled and kissed her forehead softly. The class started to head out, and Hugo looked sadly at Marinette. He sincerely wants to be in her life, but the work he does, is unethical to say the least. He’s putting her at risk to pay for his sins, and she’s too good for that. Her and her mother are both too good for that. He needs to change, here and now. He can’t undo all the damage he’s done, but at least he can prevent a lot more.

When it came to stopping his backdoor dealings, it was a lot easier than expected. When he explained about his kid, no one really gave him retaliation. He reached out to Bruce to start funding the program that Hugo and Bruce’s father started decades ago. He willingly did so, and as per Hugo’s request, split the ownership between Bruce and Marinette. Hugo started pushing boundaries, but in a much more humane and legal way. He’s been sending letters to Marinette explaining his discoveries, and making sure that Marinette knows that should she need an internship, the company doors are always open. The demons from Hugo’s demons haunt him from time to time, but the strength that Marinette gives him, allows him to defeat those demons, and keep making those discoveries that make a positive difference in the world. Hugo knew the saying that having a kid changes you for the better, but he never imagined it being to this extent. You know what though? He’s definitely glad that she’s made him a better man.

What is your most favorite and least favorite Maribat trope? My most favorite Maribat trope is "Bio!Dad Hugo Strange", while least favorite trope is "using Batman's Villains (usually Riddler or Scarecrow) as jobbers (who vanish completely from story after their defeat) to justify BatFamily geting interest in Civilian!Marinette"

ooh this is an interesting question, so thanks for asking!

i can’t exactly think of a favorite trope off the top of my head, but i do love it when marinette kicks ass and everyone else respects the hell out of her (and maybe she eventually learns that she doesn’t need to do everything on her own, either).

i don’t exactly have a least favorite trope either, but the green lantern ignores the miraculous team’s cries for help isn’t exactly one i love seeing, nor do i particularly enjoy the ones in which marinette’s romantic interest fall for ladybug first. the latter isn’t bad in any way, but i just don’t like it because of all the hero worship ladybug already gets and how marinette seems to constantly get pushed aside for her alternate persona.

Note

I might make a part 2 of Hugo Strange being Mari's bio dad headcanons but I ain't that good and honestly want someone to make a fic in where all the Rogues know Mari is Strange's daughter so while in the Gotham trip when one of them attacks the class they do it when Mari isn't with the class and Mari is too distracted to go save them.

I read the hugo strange one. It was brilliant. I'd kill for a sequel.

Hey! I’ve seen Deadpool but not Venom. And even then I’ve only seen Deadpool 1. Heard a lot about Deadpool 2 though. I’m willing to chat about it if you want to!!

I just. Had a really weird dream y’all.

And by weird, I mean, I remember most of it and that barely happens ever. Usually I’d recall stuff that came from a sleep paralysis situation but this was just a regular dream?

Anyway.

Some of it’s fuzzy, since I don’t have the best memory. But the first thing I remember doing is waking up and getting ready for school. Pretty standard stuff.

Then my dad tells me to call an uber to go to school. Really weird considering that he’d Never do that, but okay. Uber gets me to school and drops me off. For some reason I have a pillow with me? So I figured it was close to the last day of school or smthn.

Uber driver asks me how I’ll pay. I know that I could pay rn, but I didn’t know if my dad was paying for it or not. And for some reason, he’s there. So while my dad’s talking to the uber driver, I see this kitten on the road. My dad finishes talking to the driver, giving me free reign to scoop this kitten up to safety. She was v reluctant, but I got her off of the road.

Then, I was in my elementary school’s cafeteria. Again, really weird since it was a separate school, but for some reason, multiple grade levels were there. Didn’t question it tho bc it was a dream!!!! So I get my food but they served it unusually? Like if you have chicken, they give you the whole thigh and/or leg. But they took off the meat for me? Anyway.

A fight broke out while I was getting my food. It was put out immediately and the people responsible were separated. One girl was called out though, but before anything else could happen, the scenario changed.

I was in my freshman bio class, but it was run by my middle school woodshop teacher? Still had my pillow and I was freaking out about an assignment I didn’t do that was due the next period.

The assignment was to look up the minutiae for an episode of psych where we had to investigate it like we were there. For some reason I procrastinated on it? Which would be plausible, but I wouldn’t do that for smthn I was rly into. But, I did do the first and last bits and I was able to give a full summary of the episode.

For a good chunk of class, I was freaking out about how I could finish it. There was only one person in the class I could ask about it, but he refused to help me out. Which I get but still :( It was a thing in my class to help each other on situations like these, even a little bit. Looking back, it was p weird of him to be there because he didn’t!!! Even!! Go to the same school!!!

Then I noticed that the teacher was gonna put a video up on the projector. I got super relieved because I remembered that in a previous dream of mine, he started to put on the video the assignment was based on.

Some dudes in baseball walked in and took a seat at the side so their coach wouldn’t notice them Their coach ended up walking right in and started to lecture them. So this kid was like, “hey could you lecture them in practice maybe?” And me, hopped on adrenaline of wanting to finish, was like: “yeah I have some work to do, can you lecture them later?”

Mind you, the teacher was in the middle of putting up a movie.

But the coach left anyway.

When teacher got it working, I noticed that I put on a different video. Since I was on good terms with him, I asked him if I could work on my assignment on the computers, and he let me. I click on the computers to figure out which one I should use. But All of Them. Had. Viruses.

Except for one that I was strangely logged into already? Even more weird: it had programs that couldn’t have been installed by the school or at all. So I go look for stuff to help me on the assignment and lo and behold, I find it. And the worksheet looks exactly the same as the one we have. It does look funky though, so it takes me some time to read it.

The q & a were:

Put these events in order w/ their time stamp. (i skipped this and i woke up before i read it)

How hot was the fire? x lava hot

How hard was the math? x (equation) very hard

But same person I asked to help me notices that I find the answers and asks if I could share. I took a moment to tell him to eat a dick. Listen y’all. Just bc I had a crush on somebody doesn’t mean I let them walk on me. I did tell him to pull up a seat so we could work on it together tho, SINCE I AM NOT A COMPLETE ASSHOLE.

While he’s getting his seat, I accidentally misclick and the page is like, “this comes from this book” which featured the author’s face on it. They looked a Lot like Hugo. But then the misclick again and I see another passage, this time saying that it came from “Artist, Body, and Blood” which was an anime art history text book. From the same author.

I kept clicking and found OTHER VOLUMES ON IT. THERE WERE MULTIPLE ANIME ART HISTORY TEXT BOOKS???

So. I lose my shit and tell the dude about it. As we’re both freaking out about it, I wake up.

It’s a dream, shit happens.

Surprises Chapter 3

Chapter 2

The class were nervous as they walked behind Marinette and the rest of her friends.

They had the daughter of a villain in their classroom. As a classmate.

Everyone else were somewhat freaking out, mostly because a few never imagine Marinette, sweet shy Marinette, being the biological daughter of a mad doctor.

Marinette hums happily as she walks in front of Ms. Bustier with her friends when all of a sudden Damien Wayne stepped in front of them.

"Dove? What are you doing here?" Marinette asked with a surprised and innocent tone.

Damien coughs and nervously smiled at her, "I need to speak with you Angel."

"Oh well uh... ok. What for?"

"Privately."

Marinette blinks in surprise and frowns before nodding before smiling.

"Of course Dove."

Ms. Bustier was going to protest, but decided against doing so. She was already on thin ice with Strange so she didn't want to get in bigger trouble with Marinette.

Lila sighs in relief once Marinette leaves and smiles weakly to her group of followers.

"At least I have Batman to protect me like last time!" she blurts out and sighs in relief as her followers look at her with hope in their eyes.

"You think he'd lock her up in Arkham?" Max whispered to her.

Lila freezes a little before shrugging and faking a whimper, "I don't know."

Marinette and Damien walked beside each other before Damien grabbed her hand gently and sighs.

Marinette frowned, "what's wrong?"

Damien gulps and sighs.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Tell you what?" his angel said with a confused look in her face. Her grey eyes looking at him with a furrowed eyebrows.

"That...."

"Damien you're worrying me," his angel said softly as she cupped his chin and looked at him with a worried expression.

"That you're related to Hugo Strange?" he asked quietly.

Marinette's eyes widened before she giggles, "I thought you already knew?"

"W...what?"

"I told you that my last name was Strange-Cheng. Also I've visited Gotham since I was three years old, I thought Bruce would've known?" she asked with a small tilt to her head.

She knew that the rogues talked since after she came for a visit at 3 years old that the others heard about her which led to them either babysitting her or just stealing her away for some personal fun time like shopping or murder anything really.

She pauses making him curious as she squints at something in the distance and lights up.

"Aunt Fish!" she squeals before running off.

Damien freezes and spins around to see Fish Mooney, the old gang leader who was turned into a Meta because of Dr. Strange.

He rushes over to his angel, only remembering that Fish could control people if she touched them. He got worried for his angel when all of a sudden he trips and falls on the sidewalk with a grunt.

"Deadshot? What are you doing here?" Marinette asked Floyd who stepped out of the shadows.

"Babygirl why didn't you tell us you were dating the Wayne brat?"

"Because it's my life, duh," Marinette said with a raised eyebrow.

"True baby girl but... he's a Wayne..." Fish said as she ran her gloved fingers through Mari's hair.

"And I trust and love him," his angel said.

A screeching car passed them and Marinette frowned before she raised an eyebrow before gasping as her three friends were brought struggling a little to the group. It seemed to be Zsasz girls who brought the three.

"Are.... are you guys terrorizing my class?"

"Perhaps," Fish said as she looked at her knife that she took out.

"Is that the knife that Zsasz invented that has poison on the tip!" Marinette asked excitedly which caused 4 people out of the 7 in the group to be surprised at how excited she got with the weapon.

"It is."

"Cool," Mari said before the group ducked a bit as an explosion was heard.

"DID YOU BOTH REALLY JUST FUCKING PISS YOURSELVES?!" Alix scream could be heard from a couple of blocks away.

Mari raised an eyebrow at Fish who raised an eyebrow.

"I don't have a clue on who that could be," Fish said with a mere shrug as she nonchalantly twirled the knife.

To be continued? I might end it here tbh and if anyone wants they can make a spin off of this to show how the rogues would terrorize the class.

Marinette switches classes after Lila is made the new class rep, Alya saying it doesn't matter because none of them need Marinette. Have Alya realize how wrong she is. Horribly wrong.

Switching Classes and Leaving Destruction Behind

Ok this is kind of class salt, except Nathaniel and Chloé, sorry but nope can't do that to my babies. This will also have a bit of bio!dad Hugo Strange and another surprise.

They were surprised that the Monday after Lila was chosen to be the Class Representative that Marinette, Chloé, and Nathaniel weren't there in class when they arrived.

Everyone shrugged it off as them being sick or something. Not really thinking anything of it.

They mostly thought that Marinette would wake up late like the usual or come a minute or two before the class started.

But when Ms. Bustier didn't call on their names during roll call they became a bit suspicious, only a little bit but they shrugged it off not caring at all really.

They did question it a little before the bell rang for them to go to another class. As they passed by Ms. Mendeleiev class they noticed three of the students in there.

Nathaniel, Chloé and... Marinette?

The girl the two were talking to had bluish black hair but they had their hair down with a pink bow keeping her bangs out of her eyes.

Her bluebell eyes.

She looked sorta like Marinette.

"Marinette want to go to a café after school?" Aurore asked the bluenette who smiled brightly and nods.

They all froze. Marinette looked... quite different.

She now wore a pink ruffled skirt with red flowers decorated in it, a black halter top with a bee and turtle pin on her shoulders and black flats that completed the look.

They were about to confront the group before the warning bell rang for the students and they quickly made their way to their next class.

Lila smirked brightly from her seat, glad to have taken Marinette's spot as Class Representative as well as have made the bluenette leave the class.

She had sent a smug smile to the bluenette before she left, although she was a little confused at the small smirk she was given back. More so when a cackling Chloé took her arm by the elbow as well a jittery looking Nathaniel when they had made their way to the principal's office.

Ms. Bustier smiled weakly to the class, "alright, we have a few events that are coming up as well in a few months. However, since Marinette was our last Class Representative we cannot use what she had already reserved as she has already called to cancel those reservations she had already set before switching classes."

Everyone in the class froze before shrugging it off, the bluenette probably had something boring stored for them really. Not at all remembering the fun trips that Marinette had been able to book for them.

"What a pity, she had such great ideas. I don't know how that girl got us on the list for a tour at Wayne Enterprises, Channing-Black's Cupcake Shop, The Umbrella Academy, as well as to see PK Academy," she says with a sigh, just a bit quiet to herself as to not have her class hear what she had just said. Not at all realizing that the class had heard her perfectly clear and were very extremely shocked at what they heard from their teacher.

Wayne Enterprises? They....they just missed out seeing Gotham, of possibly meeting Bruce Wayne or even Batman.

Channing-Black's cupcake shop? They could've met the woman who's life story was made into a movie and her wife who baked! Alya could've had an interview with Mrs. Channing-Black about how it felt to realize her father was sent to prison, not at all thinking it was a sensitive subject to the poor blonde that was relieved that her father had been let out early because of good behavior.

The Umbrella Academy? A chance to see the headquarters/home of the used to be superheroes when they were younger?!

But what shocked them more was the news that they wouldn not be able to tour PK Academy. It was a well prestigious private school in Japan, only having 542 students on campus, a well known Japanese teen actor's younger sister went there!

Lila was frozen, those trips sounded...amazing. Now it was her turn to find a way for the class to go on trips. However, she had bragged about being able to get them into great trips, but...with what Ms. Bustier had said it sounded amazing.

She was screwed because Marinette had her ways to get those reservations and now that she had cancelled them she couldn't just use them as her ideas.

Before she could say anything Alya stood up and hissed, "Lila can get us better trips! We don't need Marinette's stupid help!" she argued while the rest of the class argued in their heads before weakly nodding.

"Oh! Since the trips haven't been paid for we still have a few fundraisers to complete, we're halfway there," Ms. Bustier said weakly lying. Most of the money came from Chloé's parents a bit from Marinette but both had pulled their money out when they decided they wanted to transfer out from the class.

It was a nightmare for both Lila and Alya when they were given the rundown on how much the class had made with their few fundraisers. Alya having forgotten that Marinette made small fundraisers when she could that made tons of money while the large ones were with the class that she organized much to her distress.

Lila did not even know where to start with fundraiser ideas nor did she know what place to even try and get them a trip to.

Alya and her were shocked at seeing that the class had only risen $800, which was from the fundraiser that Marinette had a big help with the class but they really didn't do much. It was a fundraiser that made Marinette frustrated with her class.

Alya wasn't that mad really, she just smiled at the class, "we don't need Marinette! We can raise enough for the trips!" she said excitedly which the class nodded.

They were determed to raise enough for their trip.

Marinette, Chloé, and Nathaniel were relieved when they switched classes and both Chloé and Nathaniel howled with laughter as Marinette called each reservation that she made for the trips and cancelled them.

Marinette was relieved that she was not Class Representative anymore, but that didn't stop her nor Chloé from helping out Aurore, Ms. Mendeleiev's class representative.

Both girls gave sent their portion of funds to the go fund me that Aurore had set up which shocked their new class but they insisted since it was basically their right to do so. They wanted to help as much as the class needed.

Ms. Mendeleiev's class only had $10,050 when they asked which surprised the three newcomers.

Aurore had told the whole class that their class trip could be a trip to America to visit perhaps New York.

Marinette groaned and lightly blushed as her two friends told the class the amazing reservations that she had cancelled before leaving Ms. Bustier's classroom and that perhaps they could help Aurore make those reservations with Marinette's help as well help with fundraisers that would help the class be able to reach their goal.

Their goal was $15,000 just to go to New York, but with all the places Chloé told them about the class became excited. Aurore asked the three for help, to which they agreed and they went gone and they changed their goal to $55,000 so they could be able to fly to Japan to be able to tour PK Academy while in Japan.

With the addition of Chloé and Mari's money they reached $16,050 much to the shock of their new class.

Saiki and a blonde soothsayer sighed in relief from Japan when they felt a weird amount of stress being lifted for some odd reason.

Their first fundraiser with their new classmates was a Karaoke party that Chloé had hosted at her father's hotel. They had Marinette and Ondine mention it to a few people during lunch who sent the news out to their friends who told their parents.

Their classmates Instagrams were filled with videos of parents just singing songs and each child of said parent being embarrassed. Chloé got an amazing video of Marinette's parents just singing a Beatles song while Marinette had a video of Chloé hiding in shame as her parents sang badly to a Bruno Mars song.

They sold food and drinks while it went on as well as ticket numbers for those who wanted to participate in the karaoke.

They made $7,635 because miraculously Jagged was there for the week and had crashed the party and in his Instagram it showed him and Penny singing Eleven Minutes by Yungblud and Halsey which led to more people coming.

Aurore and Marinette were baffled and shocked when $16,000 more appeared the next day only for Marinette to squeak in shock as both Jagged and Clara called her to say the contributed to the fundraiser wanting to help their favorite designer and honorary niece. They told Marinette they did not care how much they sent, they wanted their niece to be able to travel with her friends in the class.

The class was shocked when an excited Aurore told them they were half way through their goal.

Lila scrambled for a good idea to what to create and how to start with the class's first fundraiser without Marinette.

Alya came to her a few minutes before lunch was over and informed to brunette about people talking about something with about a few students talking about karaoke.

Lila and Alya then decided to make a karaoke party at the last minute that took place at the school auditorium. Alix and Kim send out a text to their friends as well as the rest of the class. They sold snacks as well as had people pay to request a song.

All in all the class raised $200 which they were sort of proud of while their parents secretly winced at how bad the whole thing just was.

Lila still didn't really know what she could plan for the trip and in the end she informed them that the trip they could go to is London, England and visit for an entire week and have a tour to a few of the well known places or New York.

She was glad that the class agreed to the staying at London for a week plan. Even if she hadn't gotten a reservation set she believed she had time.

She would later regret she ever believed that.

Their next fundraiser was a bake sale that they held outside of a gig that Nino had.

They made $263, they were glad that Rose knew how to bake since the last bake sale had both her and Marinette make the goodies much to both girls frustration since the rest of the class just basically made drinks, easy ones at that, to go with the treats.

Rose was a bit sad that not all of them sold, she didn't sleep for almost the whole night before the bake sale because she made a lot of cookies trying to make up for Marinette not being there.

Didn't help that each time one classmate went to a potential customer, they mentioned it was a school fundraiser.

For the next fundraiser, Aurore had decided since Halloween was close that they have a bake sale for Halloween full of Halloween themed treats along with a movie night at the park that would play scary movies.

The class agreed and surprisingly, Marinette was not tasked with having to bake any goods all by her and Rose's self.

The class were able to ask to use the kitchen in the hotel and with the help of Marinette telling them what baked goods to make and how to prepare them they were done by 10 PM when they had started at 3:40 PM.

Both Marinette and Marc informed the class that they could handle being in the table with the goods since Marinette HATED scary movies and Marc just did not like them because he was not really comfortable with really gorey movies. Nathaniel of course stayed with them.

They sold tickets to people that arrived so as to be able to see who were allowed in, of course. Other than the baked goods, the class sold lemonade or hot cocoa since it was starting to get chilly in the fall weather.

Over all they raised $4,860 that night and most of it was because of the baked goods as well as the amount of people who came to watch scary movies.

Lila drank a large cup of black coffee alongside Alya as they scrambled around to help the class with their play that was part of a grade in theatre class. There wasn't any set design nor any costumes done, it was so last minute because Mylene had barely remembered to call her classmates to tell them the horrifying news.

They got an F on the small play because of how frazzled the actors were and no good costume or designs were there to charm their theatre teacher. They were disappointed, not remembering that Marinette and Nathaniel always helped with the set design as well as draw up costumes and have Marinette make them.

Alya pushed it off as bad luck, but Lila suspected it being something else entirely.

When November arrived they decided that they should have another fundraiser.

They hosted a pool party at the community pool that was close to closing due to the weather.

Nino djed and they brought just drinks and sold tickets.

...they raised only $75 since not many came.

Unbeknownst to them this was during which Mari's class made another bake sale only with other clubs. Selling only pies and making a contest for people to show off their pumpkin or any other vegetable as well as selling ticketd for people to watch the contest. It was a fun event that got more huge when Luka volunteered to have his new band, Little Nightmare Heart, play during the event.

After they divided the money they received $500 which they were ok with.

Alya muffled a scream behind her hands as Lila swayed from where she was standing, the class had been tasked with decorating the classroom for Christmas and they had gone a bit last minute to get the decorations.

Turns out they didn't have enough money to get all the decorations needed so Alya had sent the group chat a list of things they could do.

Lila was tasked with making paper snowflakes.

They got to class early to decorate, Alya had just placed her and Lila's large black coffee beside the decorations for a moment when Nino accidentally bumped into it and causing the coffee to spill on the decorations most of his classmates spent a night on half heartedly making.

Lila wanted to scream in frustration at that, but let Alya scream for them both.

They were envious of Ms. Mendeleiev's classroom whenever they had her class. It looked like a winter wonderland since the whole class helped each other out.

Marinette and Nathaniel were the only ones who could draw decently well, and were the ones to be tasked with creating the difficult decorations much to the bluenette and redhead's frustration.

Two weeks before Christmas Ms. Mendeleiev's class set out to do another fundraiser, this one a contest taking place at Marinette's family's bakery. They had people sign up and write down the goodies they were going to make to enter the contest and the best one that entered would have their recipe of said baked good that would be added to the bakery's menu for only that month.

They sold tickets and hot chocolate as well as small gift baskets filled with candy and other little small goods for people who just came to watch the contest.

They made about $3,640 in total.

Although, Marinette did make a small auction to auction off an MDC original dress that sold for $3,000 making her ten times the price of materials she invested in it much to her utter delight.

They were ecstatic that they just needed $8,175 more and they had close to 5 months to raise it.

Well...$5,000 left to raise after Kagami's mother picked up wind of what her daughter's class was doing and donated $3,175 to the go fund me.

Felix, with the help of Claude, was able to persuade his mother to help the class and basically a month after meeting Marinette she gave them $4,500 just so that Marinette could model a few designs for her which an embarrassed Marinette agreed to.

They just needed $500 and they were glad they were ahead of schedule.

Marinette had helped Aurore already set up the reservations as well helped the class get the necessary things for their trip as well as the chaperones.

Alya groans weakly as it rained on them, their next fundraiser idea was a dog shower where they would shower people's dogs.

They raised $400 before it began to rain.

They were fine with that.

Sadly they didn't in account of the rain and Kim and Alix broke their skates because of the rain. They were doing a contest but it did not end well because one of them opening a gash on their chin. They also were not remembering that Marinette kept it in her classmates schedule as well as the weather to see what could be done that day and be able to schedule contest or class outings with everyone.

Ms. Mendeleiev's class decided to rest for a while from fundraising and all of them had gone to the bakery to relax and buy, ignoring the protest from Mari's parents, a few pastries.

Chloé and the rest of the class were absolutely shocked to see tiny petite Marinette just eat a huge chocolate covered croissant, 3 of them to be exact.

A month or two passed before their goal was going to be met when a scream could be heard from Ms. Bustier's classroom as Lila slammed her hands on the table as Alya cried on the desk, turns out that the night before, the money they had been collecting for the trip went missing and they had no clue as to where it could've gone.

Again, forgetting that money that was cash Marinette kept locked up tight in her room.

An excited scream could be heard from Ms. Mendeleiev's classroom as Marinette hyperventilated as she showed Chloé her phone, turns out her great uncle Cheng, the chef, had send $3,000 for his niece's class.

They could all finally relax.

But Ms. Bustier's class couldn't.

Ms. Bustier's class had just went to the zoo when the school year ended, their Instagrams being filled with pictures of tired looking teens.

However, Ms. Mendeleiev's class had the students' Instagrams being filled with videos and pictures for the next two months.

They went to Japan first to see PK Academy first and Marinette's Instagram had pictures of Saiki's class, so did her other classmates.

One had a pouting Teruhashi Kokomi who was being hugged by Marinette, the glow that the other bluenette had that always attracted everyone in the city looked dull compared to being next to the French Asian teen girl hugging her much to her annoyance.

A blushing Chloé was posted on all their Instagrams that had her being lifted in the air by Hairo Kineshi who kept basically complimenting the blonde as he bench pressed her.

Marinette was the second person he bench pressed but he stopped when he was shocked how light the bluenette was much to her embarrassment.

Another had Marc and Nathaniel talking with a platinum blonde boy, Kaidou Shun who looked at the boy oddly but the next few pictures had the boyfriends blushing around the blonde.

Most of the pictures had the class in selfies while there were a few videos. One of them was of Nendou eating noodles with Marinette beside him who watched him with wide eyes while the rest of the class were amazed at how much he could eat.

THEY EVEN GOT TO MEET KOKOMI'S OLDER BROTHER.

Only Marinette was able to get a picture with the Saiki teen.

Everyone found it adorable since it was the bluenette and the pinkette eating coffee jelly at a café.

A video showed the bluenette raving about it while the pinkette nodded.

A few people were jealous.

Their next trip spot was to Brooklyn, New York City where they got to tour the bakery of the Channing-Blacks.

The pictures from Marinette's Instagram was just of Chestnut, Caroline Channing-Black's horse with a few students every now and then.

Chloé had a few pictures with the blonde Channing-Black while Marinette had some with the raven haired Channing-Black. A few of her Instagram videos had Max show her how to bake a cupcake since the two Channing-Blacks were excited to have a daughter of a baker be in the group.

Luka had pictures with him and Earl, the gentle grandfather like man holding his baseball bat and smiling wide.

What made it better is that bumped into the Avengers who they took pictures with.

Their next trip was to Argyle, New York City. The class only had a few pictures really.

Most of them with either Diego Hargreeves or Allison.

A few had taken a picture of Grace.

Marinette as well as Luka mostly had pictures of Klaus Hargreeves, who was 5 years sober thanks to his boyfriend Dave Katz, as well of Five Hargreeves who had a look of pure confusion when looking at Marinette. The 15 year old space jumper was looking at her with a wide a look of calculation.

There was a 10 minute long in both Instagram and YouTube that had Marinette gushing to Grace about how amazing her style was.

A lot of people found it adorable.

Nathaniel and Marc had pictures full of aesthetically taken shots of a few rooms of the house that they got permission to take.

One video however, took the cake.

Vanya was in a few of the pictures, both her and Marinette bonded over tea and in the video it showed Luther patronizing Vanya before a loud slap was heard which was from Marinette who quickly defended the brunette.

It got a lot of views and more reasons to not like Luther Hargreeves, Number 1.

Another was a shocked class watching as Vanya slightly panicking before Marinette ran up to her and held her hands before helping her out with breathing exercises. The camera catching the slight trembling of the things around them that those watching also caught on.

It wasn't a surprise since the whole world realized what a monster Reginalf Hargreeves was with what he did to the youngest member and her powers.

What surprised them more was that Ben, who was alive thank you very much, was actually Mari's uncle because Sabine's parents weren't ready for another kid so they gave him to Reginald.

The news was abuzz and so was Paris, France that Marinette was the niece of one of The Umbrella Academy members.

Their last trip was Gotham and well...Marinette instantly caught the attention of a few rogues, did not help that Hugo Strange brought to light that she was his daughter because him and Sabine dated before she left for Paris and had her when the class were able to book a tour to visit Arkham.

Which had a few sneaky reporters.

And there was now more news of Marinette's family as it came to light and her name shown on the news.

Marinette Haruhi Dupain Cheng-Strange was now known.

There was videos of the class meeting the batfam as well as the Wayne family when they had made their way to Wayne Enterprises.

Even a few rogues got on their Instagram.

Fish Mooney was a big one, the mind controlling meta had complimented Marinette and Marinette was just excited to meet a meta, although, the whole class was weary, of course.

The was even a video that was for fun that had the whole class meet the rogues as well as the Suicide Squad.

"Can we make them our partners in crime?" Mooney asked an exasperated Penguin and Batman.

"This isn't how it works Mooney," Batman said which she scoffed at.

"You have those bird boys!" she hissed at before placing a hand on Marinette's head and everyone was glad that Mooney now wore gloves.

"I get Marinette, because both of us love fashion unlike the rest-"

"Hey!" could be heard from a certain Quinn.

"-of you. Poison Ivy can get Nathaniel and Marc because he's a redhead and they seem to like plants. Harley gets Claude, Katana gets Kagami since both know how to use a sword, Oswald gets Aurore..."

The video went on for 10 minutes and in the end it had both Oswald and Batman shouting in disbelief.

That video got popular quick. It was trending especially when Hugo Strange shouted that no one gets dibs to have Mari as a crime partner other than him much to her embarrassment.

Alya watched all this through the screen of her broken phone that she had thrown against her bedroom wall when she saw the pictures of the class at Channing-Blacks bakery shop and Aurore's interview with both women on how it felt when they went from the bottom to the top.

So did the rest of her classmates. They looked through their phones in envy and Lila was shocked at where they went.

They even felt their stomachs drop when it came to light who Marinette's biological father was none other than one of Batman's rogues. They had at first been excited that Marinette was related to an Umbrella Academy member before remembering she was not their friend anymore.

When school started back up Ms. Bustier hoped that Marinette as well as the other two would be put back in the class. However, much to their disappointment she was not in their class.

She was back in Ms. Mendeleiev's class and they watched in envy as she was hugged by her new classmates when she arrived.

For the next few months the only talk of the school was about Ms. Mendeleiev's class trip and about Marinette.

Mostly about how she was basically a Gothamite because of her biological father as well the niece of an Umbrella Academy member.

The bakery boomed in business, having started selling all sorts of cupcakes and coffee jelly that Marinette was able to get the recipe from Kusuo who was shocked when Marinette had sent him a package with the recipe her parents made that made it much more delicious. It also boomed in business because of Max and Caroline sending shout outs to the bluenette whenever they wore something of hers they commissioned.

Her old classmates watched in envy and sadness.

They had been banned from the bakery as well Marinette had been able to get a restraining order for each of them much to their shock.

Paris was shocked when a new Black Cat came along when Ladybug was fighting another akuma.

This one was a much older gentleman who had black curls and was lean, as well as sporting green eyes.

His name was Alley Cat, Chat de Ruelle, and he was Klaus Hargreeves. He had received the miraculous because the Hargreeves siblings went to Paris so that Ben could reunite with his older sister. Master Fu had seen him and Plagg could see the destructive power behind those green eyes.

It was a low blow to Adrien who had been out of Paris for the school year because of a movie he was staring in. However, at least he had a fun time unlike Ms. Bustier's class. As well he was grateful a bit that Ladybug had better help after Master Fu explained to him why he could not be Chat Noir anymore.

Lila screamed in her pillow as she was reminded that she was class representative and had to start planning for the next trip that the class could go to.

She regretted making Marinette leave the class. She regretted it a lot now really.

At least Marinette's family was getting bigger by the day and their business was booming at a rapid pace that had Klaus becoming a cashier and Dave a baker to help the family as help was eventually needed.

Even a certain pinkette popped in. every now and then for a coffee pudding who went on to tell Marinette of his powers after she got suspicious on how he arrived to Paris so quickly a few hours after the bakery posted in their Instagram page of the coffee pudding.

Kusou may or may have not received the Horse Miraculous a few months later much to Max's disappointment and the pinkette's annoyance before it was agreed that Five would receive the miraculous, although he had to be restrained from murdering the akumas much to his annoyance.

All in all Ms. Bustier's class were scrambling quickly to raise enough money this time around to go to a great trip that year.

They barely could think straight as they begged and yelled at a distressed Alya and Lila to raise enough for them to take a trip to New York. The two poor girls needed a lot of coffee to be able to hold on their responsibilities as Class Representative since Lila couldn't lie her way out of her duties because she just couldn't really.

The school dance was that year and all the other class representatives started fundraisers to be able to get good stuff for it.

Ms. Mendeleiev's class were the talk of the class for months as well as Ladybug's new partner who was overprotective of the young Ladybug.

All in all Ms. Mendeleiev's class were looking forward to the school year much to their delight. They had three classmates that were amazing and they would not trade them for the world no matter what as they helped greatly with fundraisers that instantly met their goal a month or two much to a bluenette's great embarrassment and the class' great astonishment.
