♡ Shout out to systems who have DID, OSDD or any other disorder!

I don't know you personally, but trust me when I say this: You're doing great out there. Whether that's just having a day out with the other members of your system, or just trying to survive. You're doing a fantastic job and I want you to never forget that someone here is proud of your progress.

It doesn't have to be a big step: Every little step you take already helps you get closer to your goal. After all, it takes time for legends to be known. And as far as I can see? There's a whole community filled to the brim with them.

Fight on, everyone! Don't forget: No matter how dreadful the journey, you're never truly alone in this. Keep fighting! No matter what people say: You're valid, you're real, and you'll always have a place here.

No te conozco personalmente, pero créeme cuando te digo esto: Lo estás haciendo muy bien allá fuera. Ya sea pasando el día con los demás miembros de tu sistema o simplemente intentando sobrevivir. Estás haciendo un trabajo fantástico y quiero que nunca olvides que alguien aquí está orgulloso de tus progresos.

No tiene por qué ser un gran paso: Cada pequeño paso que das ya te ayuda a acercarte a tu objetivo. Al fin y al cabo, las leyendas tardan en conocerse. ¿Y por lo que veo? Hay toda una comunidad llena hasta los topes de ellas.

¡A luchar, todos! No lo olvides: No importa lo terrible que sea el viaje, nunca estás realmente solo en esto. Sigue luchando. No importa lo que diga la gente: Eres válido, eres real, y siempre tendrás un lugar aquí.

Fun little Spanish Quirk!

Idk if there's any official rule of this but this is a rule I realized existed a couple of years ago and I want to share it with ya'll!

Okay so you may or may not know that in Spanish, to minimize a word, you add "ito/a" at the end of a word.

For example:

Perro= Perrito

Carro= Carrito

Rápido= Rapidito

Silla= Sillita

Casa= Casita

Sometimes you add "cito" so that it sounds nicer:

Cafe= cafecito

However, some people will add "ico" instead of ito, and I realized it follows this rule:

If the constant of the last syllable contains a 't', then you can use "ico/a"

For example:

Pato=Patico

Gato=Gatico

Caliente=Calientico

The only mainstream(at least to Cubans) example I can think of is Jose Martin's poem, Los Zapaticos de Rosa. (which if you haven't read please do! This website has it in English and Spanish. Just be aware the title is better translated as "the little pink shoes")

Some examples of when it DOESN'T work:

Casa≠Casica

Silla≠Sillica

Carro≠carrico

(At least to my ears these sound wrong)

However, apparently people say "perrico," which sounds weird to me, but I saw some backing for it. So idk if it's a hard and fast rule. With that said, I'm pretty sure the "t rule" applies pretty well to most words!

Also, I googled while writing this and forgot there are other diminutives people use, so you can have it properly explained in this article! (also just explains the diminutive rule more eloquently)

So yah, if you Speak/teach Spanish tell me if this checks out or not! And if you're learning Spanish, dw about using it, just stick to the OG rule if it confuses you. This isn't something someone sat down and taught me. It's something I do instinctively and reversed engineered a rule for it afterwards.

This blog is mostly for fellow systems, but curious singlets can come along for the ride as well!

And if you haven't already noticed: I'm bilingual, so Spanish-speaking plurals AND singlets can hop on board too!

What I won't be standing for, however, is people spewing hate on others regardless of their stance on syscourse or their origins. Any threats, insults or suibait is going to be instantly deleted.

I think all of us can agree we need a break from the chaos every now and then and look forward to a brand new dawn...

¿Qué voy a hacer? Digamos que algunos blogs me han servido de inspiración. Lo principal que quiero hacer en este blog es proporcionar un espacio donde la gente pueda pasar el rato y divertirse. Guys, I girllbossed a little too hard in trying to get some Spanish content in my feed. Anytime I saw something kinda funny and in Spanish I’d like it so that my algorithm on insta would recommend more posts in Spanish to me. Anyway, there was a streamer who’d post clips and they were kinda funny so I’d like their posts and now they are semi-regular part of my explore page. Cut to TWO people I followed for their art style/subset of their content start posting stuff while translating it in Spanish. At first I thought that they were Hispanic/Latine and got really excited but then I realized that they were translating because apparently the fandom they’re in is in Spanish??? So I googled it and realized the fandom is bilingual. So in conclusion I accidentally was following a QSMP streamer(I think it was Quackity or something) without realizing it and now two of the people I follow are in those fandom. Could I do more research? Probably, but to be frank I don’t care much for Minecraft SMPs, tho a lot of pretty fanart has come of it. However if anyone wants to info dump I’m all ears(or I guess eyes since I’d be reading). All I know is that there’s something about an egg???
