maybe this isnt true in the city but at least here it seems like skateboarding/longboarding is NOT a big thing

#we have a skate park really close by but ive only ever seen like. one guy on a skateboard there #its all scooters... and then the bmx bikes on the track next to it #no but greater sydney area generally theres like. idk one chain that only really does skateboard (no longboard)#maybe cruiser idk. and then like 3 independent shops #and this is a big area this isnt like cbd. even worse for rollerskates so ive heard lmao #huh. just had a look at our local chain and it turns out they Do sell a couple of longboards #but theyre advertised as cruisers..../???#like. theyre definitely not lmao but #they still dont do longboard wheels tho which is the pertinent part for me rip #ONE set on the site. and u cant get them in shop anywhere its online only #at which point there are other shops lmao..#oh i wasnt counting city beach but maybe i should have LMAO theyre at least carrying globe #well. on second thought their better brands dont seem to be available anywhere in store. so

I woke up crying because I knew the boops would be gone when I awoke 😭

Actually it’s because I had a dream where my twin sister (who I hated) had died years ago, then I became a dancer with one of those celebrity lookalike/impersonator people, but she was pretending to be my sister instead of a celebrity and I wished my real twin sister was there to dance with me because I got along with the impersonator and would have loved to get along with my real twin sister as well.

I do not have a twin sister. I also hate dancing. It was a weird dream.

#I don’t remember most of the rest of the dream but I do remeber being forced to wear a pink cape by a lesbian couple #I refused to wear it because my bike was blue and they would look stupid together #but they insisted #also the bike people kept refusing to sell the bike to me for strange reasons #like one of the reasons was if I had painful periods i couldn’t ride that particular bike and needed a differnt one #but I was like ‘I can bear the pain anyway’ and fist bumped one of the lesbians on my way to grab the bike #everyone clapped #because I was so big and brave about potentially riding a bike with period cramps eventually #I think i alsp saw the inconceivable vastness of human life and the possibilities available to us #every choice I made altered my path in a visible way and I could see everything I was and everything I could have been and will be #it was ugly and crude #it felt hopeless and never ending #because it was #but I accepted it because it was impossible to unchoose a path once it was chosen and my only options were to accept or let it consume me #I could not choose if I wanted to participate or not #the only real choice I had was to give in or to choose my own path #and I decided to let lesbians buy me a bike and force me to wear a clashing cape #what does this mean about my psyche #dreams #my rambles

ran into my neighbour who has been up for hours, shit showered shaved the whole nine yards, carrying one of his two 15000$ bikes and had to face the fact that we may share a duplex but hot damn that is the only life experience we share

cannot stop thinking about dany, the really beautiful and cute bookstore owner, who has this amazing shop: a place she's crafted to be welcoming and open and warm and filled with dreams and hope. you see her around town, raising awareness for different causes. you see her at the farmers market every saturday with her three dogs, and usually, there's some older gentleman with her, who she affectionately calls "barry". you know she has no family left. you know she married young . . . was widowed young. whenever someone asks about her late husband, she just smiles wistfully, maybe touches where her wedding ring used to sit (though, sometimes, she does still wear it, just not on her ring finger. it is a pretty ring, after all, and while the circumstances surrounding her marriage were not good, drogo represents something to her). she always says that he was a man of few words, but large sentiments, then jokes about how his true love was the ranch he owned. she may mention that he led a biker gang, and you may recognize the name, may recognize it through the rumors that the gang itself strangely turned from notoriety in favor of supporting social good and awareness and community initiatives. one thing she never mentions, though, is the crime . . . or how her husband was a fixer.
