Carnelian and Bigtail make fun of Pike, Bigtail and Tamarin have a heart to heart about the whole Rainwing and Nightwing situation, and Carnelian tells them about the war. Like I’m guessing Sora placed the bomb near the front so that could be why for Carnelian, but by all means wouldn’t it be the same for Bigtail? Or was he for some reason way more at the entrance(apparently close enough to where he was burnt beyond recognition)

This one goes out to all the Bigtail fans out there whose names start with the letter "O".

When I imagine Bigtail, I don't know why, but I think he is into pottery. He's not very good at it and all of his creations turn out as weird lumps, but he keeps trying. What a trooper.

Also, it turns out that some of these prompts are fertile grounds for recycling ideas I've so far only put into ramshackle 15-minute idiot comics and then dumped into some folder without showing more than a handful of people. I guess I can show one of them off now.

Bigtail the Nightwing

Unsorted WOF thoughts part 162:

The more I think about it, the more I come to the conclusion that the Gold Winglet couldn't have been a funnier combination if I'd tried.

Literally, none of the pairs would get along with each other except MAYBE Sora and Tamarin.

Also, just to recap:

Flame: Sent back home.

Onyx: Sent back home.

Sora: On the run.

Icicle: Imprisoned.

Bigtail: Dead.

So now Pike and Tamarin are the only original members left. Pike was only there to watch over Anemone, so now he has no purpose since she's Literally Fine now. And Tamarin's dating Anemone.

Gold Winglet didn't last long, but it went out with a bang.

Sometimes, when I feel particularly rebellious, I pretend that there is a version of the story where Carnelian and Bigtail survived the History Cave explosion and the two of them (and Umber, who visited them in the infirmary every day out of guilt) became unlikely friends while recovering from their injuries. They constantly get on each other's nerves because their personalities are diametric opposites.

Also yes, I missed a day. I was just too exhausted yesterday. I had to greatly reduce the scope of this one too.
