Some Urbs Sims for the 20th anniversary

I don't have anything special for the urbs 20th anniversary, but I have these little guys lying around so I might as well show them off!

They are for my Strangetown Subhood and will be included in it when it's done. I will also be uploading an empty version and all the sims as bodyshop files, but I can't say when that will be. So I guess this is also kind of an update post.

I know Daddy Bigbucks is supposed to be a play on Oliver Warbucks from Annie, but it seems like that’s only the case in Bustin Out?? Because in The Urbz he’s just straight up evil. Like it’s more Trump behavior than mean-millionaire-who-can-learn-better behavior. He even had his own tower in Glasstown like come ON

Silly theory about Sims 2 DS being a reality show

In the Sims 2 GBA there are two endings where in the final mission  “It All Came to an End”, Optimum Alfred tells everyone the truth about how they are all on a TV show and that the player knew all along. This causes the sims of Strangetown to turn on the player and the player to be thrown in jail. Daddy Bigbucks offers to bail the player out if they do what he says. The player can either agree or refuse.

If the players side with him, the ending will he make a handful of the townspeople apologize personally to the player, and say that next season, they will be a superhero and the Mayor of Strangetown. What’s interesting in the Sims 2 on the DS the player character does eventually become a superhero.

My theory is that Sims 2 DS is simply another season of Strangetown. After the events of Sims 2 GBA Daddy Bigbucks decides to do a soft reboot of the series, he has Strangetown rebuilt and has the memories of the other Strangetown sims wiped. He buffs up security so no one will find out or tell the truth.

Daddy keeps his promise to the player for being loyal by making them the star of this new season and also achieves his goal of reprogramming Optimum Alfred into an antagonist. As for why Daddy doesn’t appear in the Sims 2 DS I think he’s taken more of a backseat content leaving his employers to run the show.
