OC Brainrot: Esther knits avidly, if not religiously. It is something of a ritual to her -- winding the skein, casting on, her needles sliding against each other, the tension on the yarn... with each stitch, she's a little more removed from her troubles. Sometimes she derives satisfaction from being able to finish something. Sometimes there's an element of prayer to it.

The yarn slides over her needles as fervent prayers soak into the fibres. She can't even begin to dress some of her wishes into words; regardless, it doesn't matter. Uttering them is merely a selfish act. Protection, good judgement, safe return... she can trust Chevalier with all of those. It would be enough for her work to keep him warm...

So Esther knits avidly... religiously... So that he can always have something to remind him of her love.

now don't get me wrong i love fanart of jon with the fabulous outfits lots of accessories and long luscious hair as much as the next tma fan but the jon in my brain is far too pathetic for anything but years old stained and torn up jeans. and hair that hasn't been cut in years and looks like it hasn't been washed in about as much time. i enjoy the vision though

i love making pinterest boards and i rly like trying to make like, my ideal wardrobe in one so i can plan what clothes i eventually wanna get, and so i also try to find pins that are or resemble some of my favorite clothes so i can get an overview of what that full wardrobe would look like right. and one of my fave things so far is that i am entirely unable to find a pin that resembles my olive green afghan coat which i love. like its such a cool and unique piece that i cant find anyone else who has it. i <3 that makes me feel so lucky to have thrifted it :)
