He was a semi-openly gay man within professional wrestling. Publicly, he was secretive about his sexuality. He had a poor, sad, lonely upbringing until he was more successful his father accepted him more. But he didn't have much support from his family when he came out to them as a teenager in the late 50s. Had to leave home at 16.

He's been the subject of rumors and erroneous stories because of homophobia in wrestling and in society.

He was a talent and a genius for wrestling and helped so many wrestlers over 45-50 years throughout the 80s, 90s, 2000s, and 2010s all the way until his death in 2020. He was like 'required reading' for anyone dreaming to wrestle, he put on shows and matches that today are still unbelievable.

I think he's a good man. He's a hero.

Idk why but the idea of Tama Tonga and Cody Rhodes being exes is super fucking funny to me. Also it is very important that they are not angry bitter exes but like functional get brunch sometimes exes.

They both used to be in the Bullet Club though they didn’t interact. Cody was an absolute mence during that time and you know Tama would be find that power hungry psycho sexual energy cute.

But like modern day? Tama is one of Solo’s henchman and Cody is the baby face champion.

Tama just causally mentioning stuff,

“Hm? I don’t know if you wanna do that, Cody doesn’t mind poisoning”

“I was expecting him to either start kissing him or maybe bring out a steel chair”

They were walking through a more crowded area, and he didn’t want Princess to get trampled. He could hear Shibata’s thoughts in his mind, mundane things about cleaning up the apartment and if he should start dinner. He smiled. He knew that them, essentially, living together for the next few months would be interesting, but he didn’t realize the other man was so nervous.

“It’s the first time we’ve actually lived together, you idiot.” Shibata’s voice cut through Kenta’s thoughts. The man had a point.
