(This idea came to me because there is a part of me that wanted to try to write a Little King Trashmouth/Gary fic for the romantic pair day for See More Seymour's Week but I don't think I'm quite skilled enough to write from a raccoon's perspective.)

Armand/Daniel: I have never had such an immediate answer for anything in my entire life. Armand's 100% raccoon coded, rummaging around for shiny baubles.

And Daniel's very much his husband who might as well be called Gary... he's just Some Guy. 🧍‍♂️

Lestat/Armand: Lestat's the raccoon here. It's hard because in this dynamic, I think they both have strong raccoon tendencies. They like pretty things, pretty guys. Lestat hoards fledglings; Armand hoards everything else (houses, Lestat's extraneous fledglings).

Lestat may have found Armand in rags underneath a cemetery but of the two, Lestat absolutely has more chaotic raccoon energy — this is the man who flew into a window and chopped up body parts to carry in a sack over his shoulder like "Santa Claus."

Armand becomes Gary. But I don't know that he has the temperament required to be Lestat's long-suffering husband. Lestat's gonna suffer.

Armand/Louis: This one is perhaps the hardest of the three because they both have strong Gary instincts but also just as strong raccoon tendencies.

Louis in the shack being dusty. Armand getting dumped for Khayman and being dusty. And don't forget all those years he spent watching over Lestat's living grave in New Orleans, surely dusty as hell.
