i cannot bring myself to care about people like mary kirby and lukas 'i hate lesbians' kristjansson getting the axe at bioware in this wave of layoffs.

what i DO care about, however, is the fact that this comes just over a year since the Bioware QA team unanimously voted to unionize. as of right now, it would seem that they're being heavily impacted by the layoffs. which feels fairly obvious as union busting to me, ngl.

Ace finally got it and is leaving Jun alone. Bianca has had enough, one thing is Ace being a jerk, quite another is Jun going along with him. Luckily, she seems to have finally reacted, a little too late if you ask her.

Also a bit too late, Pat finally jumped into action. Pat: What the hell is wrong with you? We agreed you'd forget about Jun! Ace: Hey, calm down, dude, I was just being nice to her. Pat: Jun doesn't need your "niceness". (Romeo asked Jun to dance, you know, to relieve stress a little?)

But the dance didn't last long. Pat: (To Ace) I want you to leave. Now. Ace: Man, that's rude! Pat: Not as rude as flirting with your best friend’s girl.

🗣️-If you could cast a voice actor to voice your OC, who would you choose?

Most likely if I could pick anyone, Lisa Maxwell who voiced Kira in The Dark Crystal, she sounds the most like how I envision Peony sounding in my mind. It’s the perfect balance of a soft, gentle voice tempered with curiosity and adventurous undertones. Subconsciously I think I view Peony and Taranza as somewhat like Kira and Jen from Dark Crystal. Them and Bernard and Bianca from rescuers. So, Eva Gabor would be a good choice too lol

🍱-If your OC had a dish themed around them at the Kirby cafe, what would it be?

As a food, it would have to be a dessert, I imagine a sort of peony shaped tart filled with cream and strawberry jam. As a coffee beverage, a white mocha latte with peony syrup, strawberry whip cream for a pink tint, topped with peony petals for decoration and gold sprinkles. The straw if it were up to me would be shaped like a moth antennae.

👶-Does your OC have children? If they don’t have any children, would they like to have some someday?

I answer these with the idea that her main story is finished so sorry for spoilers but yes! Peony has a daughter with Taranza, Princess and future Queen of Floralia, Gladiolus, or Gladdy for short. I imagine Peony and Taranza as very affectionate and emotionally available and connected parents. They would be very nurturing for their child and are very good to Gladdy. She knows a lot about love and care and what it feels like, and is never made to feel left out or unwanted. She lives a life full of happiness and joy, with parents who rejoice in her accomplishments and comfort her in the natural sorrows and difficulties that come with growth. Here she is as a baby drawn for the first time so she’s not just a blip in my brain lol

The real answer is that Mary Kirby did not want to write a romance, she said it's not something she does (and yet she wrote Merrill, so idk). But can we read into it real easily? Absolutely. You can't tell me those evenings at the Hanged Man were all platonic card games and drinks.

sure! but i’m not really asking about what we can read into. for the purposes of this discussion i’m accepting the canon dynamic presented, which is that varric does not fuck hawke. and i’m asking if that’s because hawke is specifically individually excluded, or if there is a general rule. so the question is, aside from bianca and hawke, does varric fuck

Since it was his day off, Patrick decided to have a get-together with his friends, which started out great, but then Kirby Wise and Ace Wilde got into a fight, up to that point no one knew why.

Except Bianca Rubble, of course, because she's Kirby's friend and co-worker, and also knows Ace quite well.

Pat tried to ignore them, thinking it was something unimportant, but the argument went on.

Ace got pretty heavy, which made Kirby angrier, not even Romeo who is super friends with Ace could get him to stop. Patrick didn't know what to do, Jun asked him to leave it to her.
