It's almost hilarious how even when Viktor is trying to get rid of his humanity it just highlights how partial he's to Jayce. His villain speech isn't even threatening, he searches for Jayce to talk especifically, he is still trying to convince Jayce to join him or to see the benefits of glorious evolution, I would say even trying to impress him. He touches Jayce's forehead even when it's not necessary to know his mind, he keeps the blanket even when he does not feel cold or warm long ago. He could have easily kill him but instead he decides to talk more with him about glorious evolution hoping he to accept him without realizing that Jayce is what makes him look the most human, the most desperate for company and understanding

On my second rewatch it's really noticeable how heavily Isha's associated with lamb imagery. When she and Jinx first meet the song goes, "Pretty little lamb, don't come down here. You're gone, sucker".

Then Isha literally throws herself on Janna's sacrificial alter to save Jinx.

I wonder if there's a deliberate connection between this and Blood Sweat and Tears where we see Ambessa sacrifice a part of herself to fundamentally transform who she is when she was trapped at the border of life and death. Was that to prime the audience for what's supposed to happen between Isha and Jinx?

On top of that, these gold tinged disciples, who are now almost certainly Viktor's devotees, are dressed in gold and blue like Ambessa's lamb.

And we know things are coming to a head in Viktor's territory where he, Jinx, and Ambessa's forces will converge. So I can only imagine that this will be a pivotal point in both Jinx and Viktor's respective transformations.

I'm too angry and in my feels to make a coherent response to Lex's "You can't control Superman" and "Earth is for the Earthlings" lines, but it is exactly this narrow view regarding the capability of Superman's powers that has these people becoming the very weapons/villains they see Superman as, because none of them can comprehend having so much power and using it for good.

If you could fly why use it to rescue a cat from a tree or help an old lady cross the street?

If you could shoot lasers out of your eyes why use it to repair a bridge when you can kill?

If you were invulnerable, why throw yourself in front of a car to save a child when you could cause harm without reproach?

Though they label Clark an 'alien', they see him as too human to be anything but genuine in his desire to help people, and that's why they fear him. Because they can't understand him.

Mark being haunted by the 'what ifs' in his life. What if he got her the plant instead of the antfarm? What if they hadn't lost the baby? What if he wasn't so distant at the time and was more there for her? What if the IVF worked? What if they tried one more time and it worked? What if he got to be a dad? What if he was kinder to her instead of pushing her away because of his own grief? What if he went with her that night? What if he said I love you faster? Would that have saved her? The what ifs can be worse than the reality sometimes...
