(1980-1984)- He gets sent to a muggle school/hospital where the help students with disabilities. He goes there from 11-14 and Felix is happy he has friends, and life’s good even if he can’t remember most of it.

(1984) He gets his memory back.

(1984)-He remembers everything, his brothers death, the war, gets his memories removed. TRAUMA. He has to go to Hogwarts.

Goes to Hogwarts becomes friends with Charlie because of their shared love of dragons, Tonks comes sees these two oddballs and says THEIR MINE NOW.

Charlie and Tonks help him with the trauma.

Charlie and Felix bond over not wanting to always be compared o their siblings.

Sings Luna the Rosier family lullabies - cries.

Ms. Weasley saw him in the cold crying and brought him inside for hot cocoa and a blanket and told him stories about pandora.

he reminds her of her brothers fabion and gideon

A few days later she gave him a matching blue Weasley sweater with luna. it had a matching dragon with charlie :)

It starts the tradition of Felix and Charlie’s matching sweaters having little dragons on them.

Charlie and Felix realize they love each other and start dating.

tonks is so relived.

before they went to pick up Norbert they went to Hagrid where Felix and Charlie yapped to him about dragons while Tonks played with a odd lil creature.

As a poly person myself I find the potential dynamics of an mc who is dating two or more of the main 6 fascinating so I’ve decided to rank them. For simplicity’s sake I’ve decided to only do the dynamic of an mc dating two of the main 6 for now but I’m happy to make more later if people are interested

Asra and Nadia

Interesting but I see them more as friends

I think they would both be eager to provide mc with anything they could possibly want

Nadia clearly values Asra’s opinion and they have a mutual respect and friendship

I think they could pretty easily share mc

I think it would be fascinating to watch them rekindle their old relationship but this time with more healthy and open communication and under better circumstances

Now this is fascinating to me

These two do not like each other at all in canon and have had almost no positive interactions

However I find the idea of them strangely compelling

I think it a world where mc chose Lucio it would be neat to watch Asra struggle to put aside his own feelings about Lucio to keep his apprentice close

It would get messy but honestly that’s part of what makes it interesting

Another one that I think would come fairly easily

Nadia and Julian have chemistry in canon and I don’t think either one of them would object to mc also being in the mix

As countess Nadia can afford to take care of two partners

This one’s cute

Nadia who lives to shower her loved ones in gifts and luxury vs Muriel who struggles to believe he deserves basic comfort

You can’t tell me Nadia wouldn’t love to slip away into the woods from time to time to get away from the stress of her work

Also Nadia proving herself to be nothing like Lucio as a leader and taking steps to correct the issues in the city that hurt Muriel most

The two of them already fall in love in routes where mc doesn’t choose either of them so why wouldn’t they also fall in love in a route where mc did?

The trust and affection they already have for one another would be a pretty solid foundation to add mc to

I mean they were once married

Nadia would hold Lucio to his word and encourage his efforts to make amends for what he’s done wrong

I think she is one of the main 6 who would be able to forgive him fully with enough time and if she saw him putting in real effort

I also love the idea of her knowing Lucio the way he was before dying and being able to truly see and appreciate the difference

Lucio seems to harbor no real ill will towards Nadia either and I think they could make peace with one another

Julian and Muriel

The loudest most dramatic man you know breaks down the door of the most introverted quiet guy in existence

This can only end well

I think that they honestly would end up getting along but it would take a while

They would balance each other out in some respects

I think they would also eventually bond over trauma. They both lost their families at a young age, were both hurt by Lucio and have permanent physical marks of that trauma, and both struggle to see themselves as worthy of good things

If they don’t kill each other in the first month I think they could be great together

I love Lucio but what he did to Muriel is beyond fucked and I truly could not see the two of them ever being able to be so much a friends

Could be an interesting dynamic to play with in a dark fic though

Lucio would be like her silly little guy

I think Portia would be fine with having him around

Lucio would think she was a lot of fun

Portia is the character who was hurt by lucio the least and so I believe she would be one of the first to be able to forgive him

Ok ok ok ok ok wrap-up thoughts on the season now that the finale is out:

First of all, DEATHBIT DEATHBIT DEATHBIT

2) ok the subplot with Rogue and Magneto actually grew on me. Like, she’s rejected him ultimately but they still mattered to each other and they still do, it’s just not romantic from her side anymore. I can’t blame magneto for not getting over her rejection I’d never be able to take the psychic damage of losing Rogue

also yeah the age gap was a little weird but I’m living for the drama and the potential for their platonic friendship. I want to make a comment about how their stint is an example of unidentified trauma becoming trauma bonding but then I have to like…write it.

3) I actually think Roberto and Jubilee were super cute and have elected to give their storylines a pass. Like they’re just kids coming into adulthood and have found comfort in each other, that’s good enough for me for now. (Though I’d like to see more of comic-accurate Sunspot being adapted but I digress. It’s only been 1 season.)

Also I think Sunspot awkwardly hanging around the Xmen slowly coming to terms with his speedran adoption is the funniest basis for an arc and have no further comments. Might write a fic later on his Struggles.

4) KURT JOINING THE MOTHERFUCKIN SQUAD BABYYYY and literally just everything about him. Being so supportive of Rogue and holding her and encouraging Gambit and just 😭😭😭😭

5) PHOENIX JEAN PHOENIX JEAN I LOVED JEAN

6) cyclops was one of my least favs in the original, this show put so much respect back on his name. I actually adore him now—plus the scenes with him doting on his grown ass man child is hysterical. Need more of it. I need this guy telling people this Hulk Hogan of a unit is his lil boy.

If Nathan isn’t seen later at a baseball game with Scott in a Summer 01 jersey and the cyborg arm badly painted over I’m committing crimes.

7) I think Storm needed way more screen time. I know there were scenes with her written out due to budget issues (and also them skipping her goodbye to Gambit made me annoyed) but like. The fact that her centric arc was put across two episodes shared with other episodes was irritating.

7.5) In this same vein I missed Bishop, I got so attached!!!! but here’s to hoping he’s kicking ass again in s2!

8) the rate in which I fell in love with these characters all over again is insane. Like harder than the original show in a fraction of the time.

9) Rogue did nothing wrong. 😭

10) Magneto definitely wasn’t right, but it’s interesting to witness how they justified his view point with Genosha and Bastion, and the ripple effect it had on people who didn’t even agree with him in the first place.

11) Cherik lmfao they were SO gay. I’m all for affectionate besties and dudes being shown as having close platonic bonds but this was Very Affectionate Besties with Seductive Grin Bedroom Eyes Charles Every Two Sentences.

12) honestly want a version of this show though where Charles stayed gone. I actually like him! I just think not having him around to help guide everyone made things so much spicier. Magneto was StrugglingTM for Real

13) Gambit’s death was so good, but I definitely figured he’d be coming back somehow because there was no way they were offing him thinking Rogue didn’t choose him.

14) speaking of, I was mostly joking in my shitposts about Death Gambit cause I had my money on a possible Sentinel Gambit with Bastion’s introduction, but the moment they went to Egypt I started clawing up all my old shit posts.

15) ROGUE DID NOTHING WRONG (lots of wrong but you know what? I love her. She can commit wrongs again.)

16) Beast was so good but I also low key wish he had a bit more screen time. His bitterness after Genosha was short-lived, I wish it had been explored more, like Charles talking it out of him or something and reminding him about their goals or…something.

17) Bastion was awesome no notes, hope he comes back as a horseman for the flex

18) hot Magneto no notes

19) hot Apocalypse no notes

20) crop top Gambit no notes

21) “His name was Gambit! Remember it!” Rogue was so beast in this season, it was cathartic watching her beat the shit out of Bastion. Her and Sunspot honestly make for a cool combat duo and I want to see them interact more.

22) DEATH GAMBIT AAAAAAHHHHHG

23) ey yo hold up does this mean Leech and the Morlochs and the perished Genosha mutants are permanently dead??? 💀

24) Logan and Morph were definitely something this season and I adored it, I adored Morph especially. Like Morph really said I Love You even if it was as Jean, I take what I can get

26) Magneto ripping Wolverine’s skeleton out like homie wouldn’t try to kill him with a wooden chair if given the opportunity. If anything now Logan has 0 weaknesses and a personal vendetta he can act upon. Rest in pieces Erik.

27) A goddess, a gravely injured Canadian, and a metaphor for gender identity walk into a bar and all 3 say “ouch” (bad joke. You’re welcome. Don’t worry guys, Storm is there so their arc will be wrapped up in about 12 minutes. Sorry can you tell I’m still mildly salty about her lack of screen time)

28) Rogue launching Cap’s shield is 11/10. Do it again do it again (woulda been top tier humor if the end credits showed him still looking for it frantically as the asteroid got closer)

Mostly that’s all I got. I have various other thoughts including how fucking HYPE seeing my fav duo Cloak and Dagger made me, but these were the key personal takeaways.

Okay so. I haven’t really thought about them that much outside of saying they’re “old friends” but I think that would make a lot of sense! They both had terrible experiences in hell, they both lost their families, I can definitely see them bonding over shared trauma. Maybe he met her after she escaped from hell and helped her get her footing in the human world… it would make sense. And with Lilith also being immortal, she could help Azazel every time his loved ones leave this mortal coil…

But yeah, they’re friends! Besties!! They probably have brunch together every month.

Nya redesigns/rewrites seasons 5-6, spears are not drawn to scale

Seasons 1-2 Seasons 3-4

Season 5:

I don't change much about her storyline in Possession besides her being slightly more open to being the master of water due to her love for the ocean. She isn't, of course, too open to being a ninja rather than samurai, not ready to let go of Samurai X until she finds she enjoys fighting along side her brother and friends much more without the bulky suit separating them.

I want to improve her dynamic with Ronin a little bit; a thing I really like about their relationship already is how Ronin has an understanding of Nya, that most characters don't, due to their similarities and how Wus methods don't work on Nya. Ronins mentoring does because of those similarities; so one of the biggest changes I'm making here is the sword of sanctuary scene. Instead of it being unnecessary, and uncomfortable, the sword reveals that Ronins cursed soul affects him physically. (I go into detail about this in his rewrite)

Afterwards, Nya better understands the severity of his situation. She tries to reason with him; tell him that she and the others can help him if he would just let them, this doesn't work. He's running out of time, and he's become more desperate. Everything that follows plays basically out the same as in the show.

Season 6:

Making a lot of changes to her character and others in this one. For starters I'm not having Jay and Nya get back together. It never sat right with me that he still 'got the girl' after she repeatedly makes it clear she isn't interested and has rejected him once already. She stands her ground and it actually feels like she's making her own choice.

Nya doesn't just admit she believes she has a future with him nor does she give him a last minute love confession after a whole season of trying to get it through his head that it isn't gonna happen. He doesn't get to win her over after trampling her boundaries and lying to her over and over again just because Nadakhans the worst out of the 2 guys that won't leave her alone.

Their conversation in the light house leads to Jay finally understanding that he was in the wrong to push her. They bond and talk while rigging the lighthouse with traps and defenses. Their relationship as friends starting to improve. Nya still gets captured because I do honestly like the moment where she puts her trust in Jay to stop Nadakhan, which shows she still has faith in him.

Nya will still get poisoned but thats because she ends up being too close while trying to keep Nadakhan in clear range. Jay saves his friend with the wish; they've got the shared trauma and can now also just be machine building besties.

Also ya'll can't tell me Dareth wouldn't just be doing the make up tutorial segment himself.

How come u decided to make Flora and Riven besties and not Bloom and Riven? Since Bloom and Riven had similar anger issues and the "grow together" kind of friendship I feel like they would understand each other like none

Considering in s1 bloom and Riven clashed quite a bit it didn’t make sense for them to be besties from the get go

Now, I needed someone to be Riven’s first true deep connection with the gang and I chose Flora due to the fact that 1) realistically speaking she’d probably be one of the most likely to really give him a shot 2) in my rewrite they share similar traumas and were able to bond over that and 3) later on their relationship would very much also be a grow/learn together

Flora and Riven are almost inverses of each other, they are what the other needs

In s2, Riven needs to open up, Flora needs to stand up for herself, exactly what the other can teach them about.

Because of that it made sense to me for Riven and Flora to be the besties while Riven and Bloom are still very close but just in a different way

Well this isn't exactly what you asked for but I hope you'll enjoy it anyway XD Thank you for this ask <3

When I started to think about this, my brain went places. Not all of these are my favs, some of these characters I dislike but the headcanons kept coming.

Yuuji would befriend 3 out of the main 4 of HxH easily. He’d be into Gon’s Jajanken, Gon’d love to know about the Black Flash. Gon’d drag Yuuji on adventures, because Yuuji needs someone else to set the course and Gon’s great at that. Yuuji would geek out with Killua about pop culture. He’d feel great compassion for Kurapika but Kurapika doesn’t do friends so it’d be just that. Leorio would love Yuuji because he’s overpowered but very kind and less intense than Gon. I’m sure Leorio would go do karaoke with Yuuji. 

Alluka and Nanika would instantly love Yuuji. They would also try to befriend and fix Sukuna. They’d think that surely he has good in him, like Nanika, and if only they manage to reach him, he can form a loving bond with Yuuji and others too. It was likely them who introduced him to Hello Kitty, he was never the same after that. Alluka would also love Kirara, see her as a mentor and I think Kirara would love her back.

Apart from Yuuji, Leorio would also like Nanami and Higuruma. He’d respect Nanami for choosing to help people and be happy that Nanami could choose a life not ruled by money. And Higuruma wanted to work the system from the inside and Leorio wants to do that too, maybe he could reignite the hope in Higuruma. He wouldn't be sure about Toudou but then again Toudou wouldn't mind his masturbation references XD.

Canary is very clever and can manipulate others so she’d respect Kenjaku’s plots and enjoy their personality. She would also like Maki, they’d train together with various weapons. 

Nobara would judge Kurapika on their stuck up personality and lack of concern for others. She’d find Leorio cringe. But she’d be friends with Canary, because quick lesbian friends. With Gon, Killua and Alluka she’d initially be like meh, brats. But she’d warm up to them. Gon’s as driven and independent as she is, and she already has a sweet bff in Yuuji, so she likes that type. And Killua and Alluka she’d adopt as younger siblings. They want to escape the oppressive confines of a closed community and creepy traditions, she’d sympathise with that. Plus she’d bond with Killua about clothes. It’d take time with him, because they are both so petty but as soon as they’d bond on being petty about something together, they’d be inseparable to the despair of everyone around them.

Megumi would become distinguished rivals with Kurapika. They both know that the group can’t fit more than one pretentious over intellectualised teenager with a lot of trauma. But Kurapika doesn’t really want to hang around so Megumi would win that spot by default of not having a doomed revenge to drive him. He’d likely warm up to Gon and later to Leorio. He’d initially think Leorio is a bit like Gojou but then he’d learn that Leorio is a far better, actually reliable person and he’d grow to respect him. Killua would grate him because Killua is as knowledgeable as Megumi but far more talented and his relationship with Alluka and Nanika would always remind Megumi of how he fucked up his own relationship with his sister. He would try to play cool but envy’d be eating him inside.

Initially I thought Hisoka would like Mei Mei. But tbh I think that their creepy shared interest wouldn’t bring them together, more like they’d be territorial about their “toys”. He’d likely vibe with Mahito, they both love to mess with people and murder them for fun, and Kashimo who’d be Hisoka’s buddy and rival, I think they’d keep a tally of who won with a larger number of strong opponents. 

I think if Bisky was transported into the JJK world, she’d think she ended up in heaven. So many hot men, like from her magazines. She’d try to score with as many as she could. And so many poorly trained but amazingly talented kids, so many gems she could polish to shine brightly. She could maybe even reform Sukuna, show him what true mentoring is about. He really wants to teach others but kills them in the process, that’s not very efficient. Kinda sub par mentoring. And she'd likely become besties with Yuki.

Uraume would bond with Pitou, they both are non binary, both have a sense of humour and they both loyally serve overpowered men who think they are very smart and who eat people. 

Illumi would study the 3 clans, he doesn’t do friends, but he might find new inspiring methods to apply to his own family. He'd be also weirdly drawn to Chousou though he wouldn't approve of how Chousou enacts his brotherly obsession, he doesn't try to control his brothers enough. Chousou would obviously despise him.

Now Ging and Kenjaku would have a similar and dissimilar relationship Ging and Pariston have. Similar because Ging would want to study Kenjaku under a microscope, like he wants to do with Pariston. And I suspect they’d both respect each other’s curiosity. Though Ging has some semblance of morality so Kenjaku’s methods and possibly world ending goals wouldn’t fully vibe with him. But they’d be sharing parenting tips and successes. Like look at my overpowered kid I made as an experiment and then abandoned to just gently nudge his life this way or that way so he’d excel. Ging would be fascinated with Kenjaku’s baby making methodology and Kenjaku would go to Greed Island with the sole purpose of getting the pregnancy stone card. 

Gojou would follow Pariston around begging him to reveal his secrets, how did Pariston manage to have the whole Hunters Association dance to his tune. How did he learn to play these political games and win? Gojou sucks at that so much. How is Pariston so effortlessly glamorous on a level Gojou could only dream of? 

Ijichi and Beans would form a support group. 

So would Palm and Yorozu.

I don't know how much is specified about the IMC and their treatment of titans (I've been in this fandom for like a week) but that doesn't mean I can't give extremely long headcanons on what their treatment was / what happens to Titans that were in the IMC

The main thing is that Titans were treated by the IMC like weapons. nothing else. They were mistreated, and pushed to the limits - only when one was on the verge of breaking would it be given any form of care. They were simply just machines for the IMC to use

You know those photos of computers who have not gotten any love? That are insanely damaged? Dirty? Horrible forms of buildup? That is most likely how the IMC envisions treatment of Titans. The Titan still works, it still obeys commands, it is not worth their time to spend more time and money to fix it just a little bit. It still fights fine. The buildup might hurt the titan, but it's not affecting performance.

Titans and pilots were discouraged from enacting strong bonds, as (in my hc) strong bonds can bring pilots to feel pain if their Titan does, Vice versa. IMC pilots working with titans did not share strong bonds, due to the pain link.

Very rarely (or probably not ever) would you see any sort of custom decals, or paint jobs on IMC titans.

IMO, if the Titans do feel emotion, etc etc, they most likely feel pain. Pain, designed to make them work smarter, to not run into battle and just die. Pain makes a soldier smarter or something.

Titans taken from the IMC are most always traumatized due to mistreatment -- This takes a very long time to recover from. Titans still can go out into the fight once deemed well enough, but the trauma always does linger.

They share one detail: They do Not like humans most of the time. This can fade over time and lots of help, but, most Titans taken from the IMC do not like humans at first, besides if they bond with a pilot.

This does also cause confusion between IMC titans and Militia titans.

For Titans that were taken from IMC, they go through what I'm calling rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation is a very long process of basically therapy and help for titans, so they're not shoved out into another warzone without addressing what happened to them, and being treated like nothing. The Militia wants to show that they care about the titans, something they lacked in the IMC. The titans are sentient and deserve to be treated as such, not like mindless machines.

In Rehabilitation, Pilots and other specialized engineers and workers look through data from the Titan stolen, and they figure out points in the Titan's life where it sustained major damage and or trauma. This is not only to help the rehabilitation process by having some sort of base, it also can help reveal any underlying injuries that may not be seen on the exterior of a Titan

Sometimes, Titans don't even go back to the fight. They'll take on a more domestic life, such as helping with massive farming equipment, or other machinery based tasks.

There’s a bit of a history of Titans getting attached to workers in the rehabilitation, and only wanting to have them as a pilot. These cases are rare, but they happen

Yeah!! I have a lot I want to write about (even though I haven’t finished the show, I’m already brain rotted)

The Theerapanyakun boys dynamic is one thing I plan to change/mess around with.

They would be genuinely unstoppable if they teamed up, but their dads (derogatory) are hellbent on keeping them isolated and in survival mode

They are all incredibly emotionally unavailable as well (they got HELLA trauma)

There’s five of them and I think each combination would have really different interactions/bonds

Khun, Kinn, and Kim are pit again Vegas and Macau their entire lives (major vs minor family feud, Korn and Gun being SHIT DADS)

They’re hostile because that’s what they were taught.

My plan/outline has them going through really big emotional break throughs (they get put in Situations and are forced to Confront their issues)

And as a result they band together

I also just want them to have good family relationships cause they deserve it

They bodyguards get to be Friends

I get that they had certain relationships and dynamics because it helped drive the plot

But holy hell imagine how uncomfortable that workplace setting was

Like big and Ken specifically hated Porsche. He hates them too, but it was an incredibly unhelpful thing

They all had their own duos (arm-pol, big-ken, Porsche-Pete), but as a group they could’ve had an great dynamic

Especially since they work for the same guys!! They get how crazy the work they do is, and they all know how these guys behave

They don’t even have to be besties (they aren’t for most of my rewrite) but for the sake of working smoothly they need to at least be casual and comfortable

I’m making Big work through his little crush on Kinn too

he and Porsche get to discuss what it’s like pursuing Kinn. it is something they should talk about, Kinn is a shared aspect of their life and having that grudge of “my crush chose him, not me.” Is just soooo petty and not healthy

Also Ken isn’t the traitor because I like him, he’s funky

Porsche and Chay are Good Siblings

I hate how they kept each other in the dark about huge things in their life

I understand (both as a younger sibling and as an older sibling) wanting to protect your family and not see them hurt. But it’s part of life!! Stuff hurts and it happens

They have a pretty special dynamic, with Porsche basically raising Chay

I wish we could’ve seen them being close siblings more in the series, I love the little montages we got of them together

But I think it’s missing that key part of them being unabashedly Honest and Real

Especially since Porsche choosing to become a bodyguard impacted a lot of Chays life. The one constant and stable figure of his life disappeared overnight and he had no way of contacting him

They’re also just more ‘sibling like’, they go to annoy each other for fun, they work together against people because they’re a team.

One specific scenario I’ve been thinking about is Chay seeking out his brother to just be with him. (The scenario I’ve been envisioning is Chay walking into Kinn and Porsches room just to stare at him, dance Gangnam Style, turn off the lights and leave. I want Kinn to be absolutely baffled and Porsche to be Just So Done)

Porchay is a Kpop stan, I’m a Kpop stan so I’m projecting (he makes Porsche watch music videos with him and they learned a dance together once)

Porsche (pre-mafia) was involved in a variety of activities (street racing, dance battles, catering, modeled once or twice)

Porsche can do street dancing, learned when he was like 11 and it became his go to dance style

Porsche and Chay have matching tasers (Kuromi and My Melody respectively)

They bond over sad music (Olivia Rodrigo, Lana Del Ray, Taylor Swift and Mitski)

Chay likes Sanrio

Chay gets his own ‘stage name’ (its Serpent, he wanted a cool sounding one like Phoenix)

Macau shows up more, no particular reason I just miss him

Jom and Tem show up more towards the beginning (they’re Porsches ride or dies)

Big also speaks English (while Ken is Aussie, he’s got a bit of a English accent)

Kinn really likes snoopy (he has a snoopy blanket from Khun that he hides)

Khun makes the bodyguards (main 6) dress up as the sailor scouts at some point. They all fight over who gets to be Sailor Moon (Ken won and actually ate it up)

A lot more name calling and cursing, I’m talking fun ones!! Porsche calls Ken and big lots of names when they’re rivals. (‘Mean girls’, ‘Dick riders’, at one point ‘Jack and Jill’)

Kim is into lots of alt-rock, pop-punk, and alt-indie American bands

his music as WIK is nothing like any of that. It’s just Jeff saturs discography (in my mind I’m mixing in other solo artists, mainly eric nam and RM) [i have a lot of brain rot regarding music]

Kinn is a LOSER (/pos, affectionate) he deserves it

The bodyguards get drunk together and make a tier list on which Theerapanyakun boy is the most likely to get canceled and why (ignoring mafia activities) [i might make this a post later lmao]

While they’re getting drunk Porsche falls and eats shit, big loses it and cries from laughing (that’s their little break through moment in their friendship)

sienna is the corniest mf ever me thinks…… she’ll be like “YOUR SUPER TRAINING BEGINS TODAY.” and she hands you a list and the first thing on there is “eat a nice breakfast :3”

she’s also like besties with the wf lieutenant (who in this fic, I’ve named Yu 😦👍). they’re just a silly little funny bunch, and there’s a reason why he was apart of her little group in chapter 3.

I’ve spoken about how Sienna was born on menagerie once, but fun fact: she was also childhood friends with Kali! A fact which she loves to tease Ghira about.

(Might’ve already said this idk) The green cloak she describes having been made by her husband in chapter 2 is one of the only things she retained into chapter 3. In fact, she wears it into the facility, and later, it’s what she wraps adam in. Cry.

ALSO remember how I said she was born on Menagerie? Specifically before how I said (I think I did LOL) how she had this big family? Yeah… a ton of her relatives are still alive, on the island. But would Sienna ever visit them? Fuuck no, for… multiple reasons.

While before she rarely interacted with anyone outside of Ghira and a handful of others (~trauma~), she enjoys personally training those under her, even going as far as to take them out for lunches or like. Go fishing with them… idk she’s fun!

You know what’s not fun? This woman hasn’t gotten more than 4 hours of sleep in the last 12 years.

i think adam is good at singing. i imagine his mom possibly singing to him at night during his childhood and also… ~other things~ to be revealed in later chapters. but fuck no would he let a soul hear that

he hates crowds. like, viciously hates them. given the conditions of his past yeah totally see why.

he wears gloves almost any time he’s out in public. no matter if he genuinely needs them or not, and why? in all honesty adams hands (notably his wrists) are almost just as fucked up as his eye is.

speaking of his eyes! yeah no he can’t see well. at all. aside from being blind in an eye his “good” eye still has very poor vision, and most times he can only ever make out someone’s face by standing close to them. given he’s a literal fucking TREE… that leads to some very awkward situations.

he’s very close to sienna, but despite that, always feels unworthy of even sharing such a bond (trauma). thus, there’s just this constant desire to “please” her in every way(trauma), to prove mainly to himself that he deserves the spot he’s currently at in life (TRAUMA)

Last but not least; he hates his reflection. Look out for chapter 8 baby!

Her best friend, her most assertive protector, and she had been unforgivably absent to him for years. Running away from demons that were part of her.

yeah... ouch Val babe! And it's well established that she's not feeling that way only about Grey Ghost, or her brother, or even Aemond. It's her entire family, her complete support network that she feels like she has let down by leaving (in her mind abandoning) and now that she is back (let's not forget the circumstances of her return; under preassure from Daemon and emotional distress over Rhaenyra's health, after a life threatening situation which was half inability to care about herself and half ectively putting herself in danger) she still feels like she cannot "Do the Right thing" to not hurt her loved ones, not be a nuisance, not cause them any more grief.

the other parts of her, the ones she’d let down repeatedly.

and that's the fucking worst! if she were self assured she might have been able- better eqiupped- to handle all that stress and most importantly, find healthier ways to deal with her trauma and guilt. But now her tattered self confidence is just a mean companion. She can be self assured and make decisions for herself but she will be left in the wake of things feeling like she messed up, like she made a stupid choice (she often does). it will only feed her self hatred and fuel her self destructive/ self harming tendencies.

baby Val... ilysm. and i like to remind myself that val isnt just a person who happens to do drugs. Instead, she is struggling with substance abuse. She is experiencing the symptoms of her horrible mental state.

She’s not nearly numb enough, the lure of oblivion strong, but she pushes through. 

The walls are up, she’s unfortunately sober, and she wants to escape. She wants to stop feeling like an unwanted failure.

also there's something so interesting about the way she interacts with Dalton. i think i love it because there are no expectations there from either side. she can just call him, give no explanation, not bother with niceties and small talk and just "order" him to service her in some way and he does. i think her relationship with him is in its own way the most freeing one she has atm? the most open?

there is no emotional baggage, it's clear to them both what it is, and let's not act surprised, he is also enabling her in her Sad Slay Era. the open acess to drugs, to sex, to that exact type of physical only affection that is enough to drown out everything else while simultaneously look nothing like the deeper, emotional bond and (im never beating the romantic accusations) love they shared with Aemond.

Dalton is cool, a fine mist, a spring day with a bit of heat. He is easy, a Sunday morning in, all easy confidence and cocky smiles.

Dalton is uncomplicated and looks, acts, talks, exists completely unlike Aemond. ofc she's calling him up.

bet. i love how every thing she does to dalton is somehow mirrored in a reverse order in her memories. like she does to him what was done to her. as a way to return to those moments safely while not being in the physical position to be reminded of aemond? since they were opposites maybe the way to distance herself from what she felt with him is to act like him? idk idk... there's sth too important hapenning here and im too dumb to put it into words but bestie you slayed!

The flashbacks Val has are devastating and i hate you for them!

which is ofc followed by a "show of dominance" from Val. baby girl... intrusive thoughts are H A R D to deal with.

Maybe Im talking out of my ass but!

in her past Aemond had been controlling and assertive and dominant and whichever other synonym we can use BUT it was in a way that she explicitly enjoyed. It was a known, well established thing between them and was safe for her to explore with him.

I feel like once you drop the chapter where we see precicely what happened between them it will all make sense and just click together so nicely.

because im getting the vibes (i may be way off here) that the issue was that due to their shared trauma and childhood together, and since they clearly loved each other, as well as being each other's first AND a family member on top of that AND a safe haven from everything going on in their lives AND SINCE Val was well aware of Aemond's struggles what with his father and whatnot, she -at some point- / -probably due to aemond pushing too hard- started feeling a tad unsafe by this. or even better, insecure.

let's go with Insecure actually. because i feel like at some point the balance they had established, how they were equals in their relationship kinda shifted in a way? maybe she felt like her choice was being taken away ? (especially if aemond does end up pushing about free sex and tries to explore his breeding kink). Poor Val is scared of pregnancies and also they are extremely young!

so perhaps she made herself feel guilty for not being able to cater to precicely every need aemond had, especially when it felt good to do so, when it was pleasurable for her and worked as a bonding thing for them. that and the fact that it probably was legitimately sth that she did not fully vibe with at her age, it made her feel guilty and bad for not being able to set that boundary since to an extent it probably felt like a betrayal to Aemond??

and to actually leave him? go away for years? while knowing that she loves him and wants to be with him except for something that we dont yet know having happened between them. it was an extreme choice maybe? we have yet to find out. But whatever it may be it was definitely a hard decision and definitely cost her a lot but seemed as the best choice at the time.

but now she has to deal with the hurt and damage that choice left her with and bestie she's not doing okay!

and val immediately thinks of her "sin" against aemond. how in the past this assertiveness has backfired and was used by her to betray and hurt him and in her words "fuck him over"

Shame, a different kind than had diffused her this morning, warms her cheeks. Criston had called ahead while she’d been waiting in the car. Now her brother could be disappointed in her too.

she needs help yes. when you're feeling this badly about yourself that you see yourself as a disaster, a sidappointment, someone who only hurts, harms, lets down, puts in danger their loved ones, when you feel like it cannot possibly get any better it can't stop (and usually one feels that way about themselves way before anyone else notices) hearing someone out of concern say it aloud, put it into words, call you out on it feels only as a confirmation of what you already knew.

yes dread, yes humiliation. now that they see her as she truly is surely they will hate her as much as she hates herself and since she is solely a burden they will let her go.

My takeaways from Season 2 of The Wilds and my hopes for Season 3:

1. I really fucking enjoyed it. I understand the complaints about the boys taking away from the girls screen time, and I agree to an extent, but I think having the juxtaposition of the boys failing like so many of the tasks set directly next to the girls just thriving together was very much needed. Plus, it will be interesting to see how the boys bonds compare to the girls, and how their personalities mesh with each other!

2. The girls take priority in my hearts obvi but I really did enjoy some of the boys’ storylines!! The Ivan/Kirin storyline was a such great arc, especially compared to their developments on the island between like episode 1 and 5.

3. Henry is my absolutely favorite of the boy group and I just adore him. I want him to become besties with some of the girls. I want him to start humming a random and obscure song that Leah also knows. I want him to say something disparaging about parental expectations and institutions and Fatin to be like “hell yeah man.” I want him and Dot to have debates about survival techniques.

4. I want Bo and Shelby to bond over some of their shared religious trauma!! I think it would be so good for Shelby to be able to talk about it with someone who actually understands where she’s coming from!!

5. I also hope we get to see the southerners (the texas girls and the florida boys) bond a little over weather or food or something! And for Kirin and Rachel to discuss athletics and dealing with sudden changes that impact your sports career.

6. I want the boys to see the girls come together and come up with a plan and just like function as the found family unit they are, and realize that they are so out of their depth. Like I want some of the guys to try and take charge and have the girls immediately look at each other and just laugh.

7. I also want them to learn about what each group had to deal with!! Like both groups had to deal with some pretty harrowing shit. I want the guys to talk about how terrifying the jaguar was and then have Rachel just hold up her right arm and be like “I survived a shark attack.” I want the guys to just be like wow so we survived some pretty difficult physical stuff but they had whole ass mental trips to deal with too huh.

8. I cannot WAIT to see Leah try to explain to the others that Nora is still alive. Especially her bestie-in-mental-distress Rachel

9. Leah and Fatin WHO I CALLED IN SEASON 1 AND GAVE US SO MUCH THIS SEASON. Like I’m sorry but one or both of them is going to sleep with one of the guys and but then find their way back to each other FOR SURE

10. Alex Fitzalan as Seth was incredible. The way he managed to turn an at first endearing socially anxious rambling into something so sinister by the end of the season was superb. Like I might never look at him the same way again, and I already fell in love with him in The Society so that means something. He is a phenomenal actor.

11. Last but certainly not least, SHONI. Their story was so fucking cute this season. The pure moments. The fact that they were together and that sexual tension was still there in so many scenes (aka when Toni was watching Shelby go nuts over party planning and just got so hot for her like damn). The communication and the love and the beautifully shot scenes of them making out in the woods!!! Honestly I have nothing but high hopes for them they are the moment

Nancy may shared trauma her way into romantic relationships and I know she’s known for it, but Steve is the real king of bonding over shared trauma. He just does it platonically

Season 2 Steve was like yeah okay I’m gonna go help this kid I’ve literally talked to once because who else is going to and then shared trauma himself into being besties with him and giving away his embarrassing secrets just to cheer him up within a matter of hours

Then with the other kids who he’s only talked to once at the hospital after the season 1 stuff (with the exception of Mike who is just his ex’s little brother that can’t stand him) get involved plus Max who he’s literally never seen before in his life and Steve’s like well time to risk my life for all these children while also being worried about Henderson’s feelings even though I barely know him

And then there’s the whole going to go face Billy and potentially get the shit kicked out of him to protect the kids he barely knows that escalated into nearly getting killed to try to stop Billy from killing Lucas that ended with Steve heavily injured and knocked unconscious only for him to get right back up when he’s awake and go put himself in front of all the kids he barely knew and protect them

And then after that point he was like anyway I guess I’m friends with a bunch of 13 year olds, even though it’s a personality trait of mine that I worry about who people at school see me talking to. And he adopted them all and risked getting fired to give them all free ice cream and sneak them into movies and was bonded enough with from all the shared trauma enough not to care that Robin was making fun of him for all the kids he was friends with, but he especially adopted Henderson in the whole I’m your dad and emotional support system and I’m getting you ready and driving you to your dance and hyping you up before you go in kind of way

And then season 3 we all know how he ended up inseparable from Robin and not caring who knew how much he liked her and how much time he spent with her after that. But he also had a new youngest person he’s formed a bond out of shared trauma with friend out of Erica

And we all know if Eddie had survived, he would have gone from ew I’m not wasting my time hanging out with Eddie the Freak Munson when Dustin tried to get him to be Lucas’s sub to hanging out with Eddie and not caring who knew and getting pissed at people who talked about Eddie the way he used to because Steve literally doesn’t have a single character he’s close to that isn’t someone he originally bonded with because of shared trauma and who he’s now protective over

Steve Harrington dropped his toxic friends and immediately after went to go apologize to Nancy and Jonathan and got thrown into the shared trauma that bonded them together but also bonded Steve to both of them and now bonding from mutual trauma is literally the only way he knows how to form real friendships

Nancy at least formed friendships with other people working on the school newspaper. The party became friends with Max and with Eddie and Gareth and Jeff and that guy with no name before they shared trauma with him. Robin is pretty codependent with Steve but she still is in marching band with Vickie and she presumably has other people she talks to and sits with at school and in band. Erica has a whole friend group of her own we saw at the mall plus the Hellfire Club. Lucas befriended Max and the Hellfire Club and some of the basketball team without having to share trauma first. Jonathan befriended Argyle long before he got dragged into anything. El and Will aren’t great at building relationships outside of the people they’ve gone through shit with (with the exception of Will having befriended the party pre-shit hitting the fan) either, but Steve went from the guy everyone wanted to be friends with or be with to the guy that can’t pull off a relationship or make friends in an ordinary setting (and who for months was only friends with kids 5 years younger than him)

His relationships with other characters may not be unhealthy, but somebody get this man help in the sense that he literally doesn’t know how to form an authentic or lasting connection with anyone without almost dying by their side first

misha being on celebrity drag race simply makes sense with my fantasy because:

the whole concept of the celebrity version is the winner winning money for a charity of their choice which is obviously very much up his alley

his willingness to wear dresses unprompted (my third eye is open i can see the grocery store wedding dress pictures they would for sure use on rpdr)
