I had to look up what kismesis was but honestly. that's more romantic than being soulmates I think. if ppl are getting pissed off at a hypothetically questionable middle school relationship between two highly traumatized kids that could bond over their shared trauma I would hate to know their opinion on literally any ship that isn't the heartstopper cookie cutter fluff. also the smile fact? that's actually cute as hell. like hello that's genuinely really sweet. not even necessarily romantic that's just a cute relationship. the Reasons that they couldn't interact hated good opinions. literally that one "they couldn't let us interact because we would be too powerful as besties" image. always real and true
