How to Choose the Best Cold Pressed Almond Oil for Maximum Benefits
Almond oil is a powerhouse of nutrients and an essential part of many skincare and wellness routines. Known for its deep moisturizing properties, anti-aging benefits, and versatility, almond oil is a natural elixir for healthy skin, hair, and overall wellness. However, not all almond oils are created equal. To experience the maximum benefits, it’s important to choose the best cold pressed almond oil available. At Oliverse, we offer premium cold pressed almond oil that ensures you get the highest quality, with all the essential nutrients intact. In this blog, we’ll guide you on how to choose the best cold pressed almond oil for your beauty and health needs.
What is Cold Pressed Almond Oil?
Cold pressed almond oil is made by pressing raw almonds through a mechanical process that uses no heat. This ensures that the oil retains all of its natural vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Unlike refined almond oil, which may undergo heat processing and chemical treatments, cold pressed almond oil is pure and unrefined. The oil extracted through this method is rich in vitamin E, healthy fats, and antioxidants, making it a powerful natural remedy for your skin and hair.
1. Look for 100% Pure and Natural Almond Oil
When choosing the best cold pressed almond oil, purity is key. Always opt for almond oil that is 100% pure and free from any additives, preservatives, or chemicals. Many commercial almond oils are diluted with cheaper oils or contain synthetic fragrances and colorants. These additives can negate the benefits of the oil and may even irritate your skin.
At Oliverse, we ensure that our cold pressed almond oil is completely natural, with no added fillers. Our oil is made from high-quality almonds, carefully sourced and processed to maintain its purity and effectiveness.
2. Check for Cold Pressing Method
The cold pressing method is essential for preserving the integrity of almond oil. This extraction process involves no heat, which helps retain the beneficial compounds in the almonds, such as vitamins A, B, and E, as well as healthy omega fatty acids. Oils that are extracted through high heat or chemical processes may lose these vital nutrients, making them less effective.
To ensure you’re getting the best cold pressed almond oil, always check the label to confirm that the oil is cold-pressed. This method guarantees you are receiving the maximum nutritional value from the almonds.
3. Look for Organic Certification
Choosing organic cold pressed almond oil is one of the best ways to ensure that the oil is free from harmful pesticides, chemicals, and synthetic fertilizers. Almonds grown organically are cultivated without the use of synthetic chemicals, which makes the oil safer and more beneficial for your skin and hair.
At Oliverse, we prioritize quality and purity, offering organic cold pressed almond oil that is free from harmful chemicals. Our oil is sourced from organic almonds, ensuring that you get the most natural and health-conscious product possible.
4. Evaluate the Packaging
The packaging of almond oil plays a crucial role in maintaining its quality. Cold pressed almond oil is sensitive to light and heat, which can cause the oil to spoil or lose its nutritional value over time. It is essential to choose almond oil that comes in dark, glass containers to protect it from exposure to sunlight and air.
Oliverse’s cold pressed almond oil is packaged in high-quality, dark glass bottles that protect the oil from light and preserve its freshness. Proper packaging ensures that you receive the full benefits of the oil until the very last drop.
5. Check the Aroma and Texture
The best cold pressed almond oil will have a mild, nutty aroma and a smooth, light texture. The oil should not feel greasy or heavy when applied to the skin. If the almond oil has a strong or unpleasant odor, or if it feels sticky or overly thick, it could indicate that it has been adulterated with other oils or chemicals.
Oliverse’s cold pressed almond oil has a light, pleasant fragrance and a non-greasy, fast-absorbing texture. It glides smoothly on the skin and is perfect for both skin and hair care.
6. Consider the Source and Brand Reputation
The source of the oil and the reputation of the brand are important factors to consider. Look for companies that have a strong track record of providing high-quality, authentic products. Brands that focus on purity, sustainability, and transparency are more likely to offer the best cold pressed almond oil.
Oliverse is committed to providing our customers with the finest quality almond oil, sourced directly from trusted growers and processed using the cold pressing method. Our commitment to excellence ensures that you receive the best possible product, every time.
7. Assess the Price
While it’s tempting to go for the cheapest option, remember that the best cold pressed almond oil is an investment in your health and beauty. High-quality, organic almond oil may be slightly more expensive, but it will yield better results for your skin and hair. Cheaper alternatives often use inferior methods of extraction or dilute the oil with fillers, reducing its effectiveness.
At Oliverse, we provide premium cold pressed almond oil at a competitive price, ensuring that you receive the best value for your investment in health and wellness.
Conclusion
Choosing the best cold pressed almond oil is essential for reaping the full range of benefits it has to offer. Look for pure, organic, cold pressed oil that is carefully packaged to preserve its quality. By selecting the right almond oil, you can nourish your skin, promote healthy hair growth, and improve your overall wellness.

Virgin Coconut Oil: Top 10 benefits for Hair and Skin
Coconut oil is an edible oil derived from the kernels and milk of the coconut palm fruit. It is used as a food oil, and in industrial applications for cosmetics. It is rich in medium-chain fatty acids and is extracted through a wet or dry process. Coconut oil is mostly available in two varieties - virgin and refined oil. Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is produced by cold-technology and has a milky appearance. This oil is considered as the ‘lifeline of health’ due to its versatile benefits and uses. Virgin oil is extracted from coconut milk got from fresh coconuts. Then it undergoes several processes such as fermentation, churning, refrigeration and etc.
In the blog we will know about the 10 benefits of best virgin coconut oil for your hair and skin:
1. Deep Conditioning and Moisturizing
Virgin coconut oil is known as powerhouse of hydration that makes this oil as a best conditioner for hair and skin. Due to its small molecular structure, it will penetrate deep into hair shafts and skin layers, providing intense moisture and nourishment. Regular use of this oil can transform dry-brittle hair into soft, shiny locks and parched skin into a smooth.
2. Promotes Hair Growth
One of the best benefits of virgin coconut oil is its ability to promote hair growth. The oil is rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids that nourish the scalp and help remove sebum build-up from hair follicles. Massaging your scalp with virgin coconut oil can stimulate blood circulation and improve hair growth, leading to thicker, longer hair over time.
3. Reduces Dandruff and Scalp Irritation
Dandruff and itchy scalp can be quite bothersome. Virgin coconut oil’s antifungal and antimicrobial properties help combat dandruff-causing fungi and soothe scalp irritation. Regular application can keep your scalp healthy and flake-free.
4. Prevents Split Ends and Hair Breakage
Virgin coconut oil is excellent for preventing split ends and reducing hair breakage. Its natural proteins strengthen hair, making them less prone to damage. Applying the oil to the ends of your hair can help seal and repair split ends, promoting healthier hair growth.
5. Acts as a Natural Sunscreen
Coconut oil offers a natural SPF of about 4-5, making it a mild but effective sunscreen for both hair and skin. While it may not replace your regular sunscreen, it provides an additional layer of protection against harmful UV rays. Applying a small amount to your hair can also prevent sun damage and color fading.

6. Fights Skin Infections and Acne
The antimicrobial properties of virgin coconut oil make it a potent remedy for skin infections and acne. Applying virgin coconut oil to your face can reduce inflammation and prevent future breakouts, leading to clearer, healthier skin.
7. Anti-Aging and Wrinkle Prevention
Virgin coconut oil is rich in antioxidants, which help combat free radicals responsible for aging and wrinkles. Its moisturizing properties keep the skin plump and hydrated, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Regular use can help maintain a youthful, glowing complexion.
8. Heals Skin Irritations
Whether it's a minor cut, rash, or sunburn, virgin coconut oil can help soothe and heal skin irritations. Its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties promote faster healing and reduce discomfort. Applying a small amount to the affected area can provide relief and speed up the healing process.
9. Improves Skin Elasticity
Maintaining skin elasticity is key to preventing sagging and maintaining a youthful appearance. Virgin coconut oil helps improve skin elasticity and providing essential nutrients. Regular massage with this oil can firm up your skin and reduce the signs of aging.
10. Removes Makeup Gently

How to NOT binge:
(From someone whose 2 months binge free)
Info for restricting:
If you’re prone to binging after fasts. Then don’t fast.
You’d rather set a cal limit for yourself at either 700-900 for high res and 1000-1200 for low res.
By binging after fasts you undo all the work you put in and it makes you feel worse than eating in restriction.
Another point I’d like to make is that it is MUCH better to maintain than gain.
Fasting may show you faster results but there’s no point if you know you’re the type to binge and undo all that progress.
Low cal foods for restriction (that actually taste good):
Tuna
Chicken breasts *seasoning allowed, no sauce, unnecessary calories.
Whole grain pasta
Air fried sweet potatoes (my favorite)
Dark chocolate (for those of you with a sweet tooth like me)
FRUITS (blueberries, peaches, strawberries, kiwi are the best)
Zero cal drinks (flavoured water, sodas, energy drinks- I recommend something fizzy to bloat you because yes it will make you a bit queesy but it’s better than being hungry and regretting eating. I know feeling bloated feels disgusting but keep in mind that it’s extremely low cal and there is no way you are going to gain)
Use stevia or low cal sweeteners
Nutmilk over regular milk.
If you don’t have access to an air fryer, use coconut oil instead of olive or sunflower oil. Extremely low cal and food tastes exactly the same with lots more of health benefits.
Info for fasting;
Zero cal drinks, water, gum, zyns/nic pouches- they’re your new best friend.
No more than 24- 48hours if you end up binging after long fasts (48+ hours). Remember you are still not eating for a whole day, it is perfectly fine to be hungry. What’s important is that you control it. You’d rather eat low cal than binge on something like fast food.
Don’t do hectic workouts. You need energy to complete day to day activities and if you spend what little energy you have on working out your body will crave something to feed off of. Go on a long walk instead or use a treadmill.
Do calming yoga or Pilates. I recommend finding those on YouTube for beginners as it’s much less intense but still keeps you moving.
General tips for restriction:
Chew food slowly
If you overeat and want to purge do not brush your teeth after, it is far too harsh. Use mouthwash or mints. Wait 30 mins to brush again.
Count every cal. Keep a memo or notepad and write down exactly what you’ve eaten
Do not eat fast foods or processed unhealthy snacks just because they fit into your limit. Ultra-processed foods are made to keep you wanting more. You know that feeling when you just can’t put that packet of chips down? That’s the oil and salt which has been perfectly designed to keep you wanting it.
Keep busy. The busier you are the less time you have to eat MORE. Pick up a new hobby, deep clean, learn a new language or simply sleep it off.
General tips for fasting :
Whoever said don’t plan your meals is wrong. You need structure if you want to succeed. You cannot leave anything up to chance as if you don’t know what to eat, you eat everything.
When breaking a fast, the most important things are protein and fibre. Have 60/40 ratio of protein and fibre. 60% protein 40% fibre. It’s important to eat protein after a fast to regain strength and to maintain your hair and nails. Fibre to give you essential vitamins and help bowel movements.
As I said in my previous posts. DRINK YOUR WATER. In my experience drinking a DEATHLY amount of water makes me not even crave food.
Smoking or vaping (just don’t start if you don’t already but use your nic addiction as a tool/ not promoting)
That’s it! Hope you enjoyed and found this helpful<3

Beef tallow vs coconut oil 🐄🥥🧴
Both beef tallow and coconut oil are popular for natural skincare, but they differ in composition & benefits.
Beef Tallow 🐄
🐄 Composition: Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K & fatty acids like oleic acid & stearic acid. These are highly compatible with human skin, mimicking its natural oils.
🐄 Benefits: Deeply moisturizing, supports skin barrier repair, reduces dryness and is great for sensitive or eczema prone skin.
🐄 Best For: Dry or damaged skin that needs intensive nourishment.
🐄 Drawback: Its thick texture can sit on the skin without fully absorbing, potentially clogging pores & causing an overly greasy feel, making it less ideal for oily or combination skin, especially if acne prone.
Coconut Oil 🥥
🥥 Composition: coconut oil has smaller fatty acid molecules (like lauric acid) allow it to penetrate the skin more easily compared to heavier, occlusive fats.
🥥 Benefits: It hydrates deeply, strengthens the skin’s barrier to lock in moisture, and prevents water loss. Lauric acid fights bacteria and fungi, helping with acne and mild infections. Plus, it delivers vitamin E to support repair and rejuvenation.
🥥 Best For: Normal to dry skin & fungal related issues.
🥥 Drawback: Despite its penetration, coconut oil is comedogenic (pore clogging) for many, which can lead to breakouts for those with acne prone skin.
Which to Choose?
🐄 Beef Tallow: For deeply nourishing, barrier-repairing care, especially in cold weather or for dry skin.
🥥 Coconut Oil: For lightweight hydration or antimicrobial needs, but patch test if prone to acne.

The Incredible Benefits of Cold Pressed Coconut Oil You Need to Know
In recent years, cold pressed coconut oil has gained immense popularity, and for good reason. Known for its versatility and numerous health benefits, this natural oil is a staple in both beauty and wellness routines around the world. At Oliverse, we are proud to offer premium cold pressed coconut oil, which retains all the vital nutrients of the coconut. Sourced and produced with care, our cold pressed coconut oil provides an all-natural solution for your skin, hair, and overall well-being. Let's dive into the incredible benefits of cold pressed coconut oil and why you should incorporate it into your daily life.
What is Cold Pressed Coconut Oil?
Cold pressed coconut oil is extracted from fresh coconut meat through a mechanical process that does not involve the use of heat or chemicals. This gentle extraction method ensures that the oil retains all of its vital nutrients, including essential fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants. Unlike refined coconut oil, which undergoes heavy processing and filtering, cold pressed coconut oil is pure, unrefined, and packed with natural goodness. It’s this purity that makes it such a powerful ingredient in natural skincare, haircare, and health.
1. Promotes Healthy Skin
One of the most well-known benefits of cold pressed coconut oil is its ability to nourish and hydrate the skin. The medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs) in the oil provide deep hydration, making it a perfect natural moisturizer for dry or sensitive skin. Whether used as a face moisturizer, body lotion, or lip balm, cold pressed coconut oil absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth.
The oil’s antioxidant properties help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals, which can lead to premature aging. Regular application of cold pressed coconut oil can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, keeping your skin youthful and glowing.
Additionally, cold pressed coconut oil contains lauric acid, which has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. This makes it effective for treating various skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and acne. It can also help soothe irritated skin and reduce redness, making it a go-to solution for those with sensitive or inflamed skin.
2. Supports Hair Health
Cold pressed coconut oil is a miracle for hair care. Packed with vitamins E and K, as well as essential fatty acids, this oil deeply nourishes the scalp and promotes healthy, shiny hair. It’s a natural conditioner that helps prevent hair breakage and split ends by sealing moisture into the hair shaft. Whether your hair is dry, frizzy, or damaged, cold pressed coconut oil restores its natural shine and softness, making it more manageable.
Using cold pressed coconut oil as a pre-shampoo treatment or hair mask can provide intense hydration and help improve hair strength. It also helps prevent dandruff by moisturizing the scalp and reducing dryness. Furthermore, the natural antifungal properties of coconut oil make it an excellent remedy for scalp infections or itchiness.
For those looking to promote hair growth, cold pressed coconut oil can stimulate circulation to the scalp, encouraging healthier and thicker hair over time. Regular massage with this oil can invigorate hair follicles and prevent hair loss.
3. A Natural Remedy for Weight Loss
While coconut oil is often associated with beauty routines, it can also contribute to overall wellness. The benefits of cold pressed coconut oil extend to weight management, thanks to its high content of medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). These healthy fats are metabolized differently from long-chain fatty acids and are more readily used for energy by the body, which can help increase fat burning.
Adding cold pressed coconut oil to your diet can boost your metabolism, promoting more efficient calorie burning. It also helps keep you feeling fuller for longer, reducing hunger cravings and aiding in portion control. Consuming a tablespoon of coconut oil daily can support your weight loss goals when combined with a healthy, balanced diet.
4. Boosts Immunity
Cold pressed coconut oil is known for its immune-boosting properties. The lauric acid present in the oil is converted by the body into monolaurin, a compound known for its antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. Regular consumption of cold pressed coconut oil can help strengthen the immune system, protect against infections, and promote overall health.
Whether you consume it in your morning smoothie, use it in cooking, or add it to your daily routine, cold pressed coconut oil supports your body’s natural defense mechanisms and promotes overall vitality.
5. Improves Heart Health
Despite its high fat content, the benefits of cold pressed coconut oil extend to heart health. The MCTs in coconut oil have been shown to help increase good cholesterol (HDL) levels, while simultaneously reducing bad cholesterol (LDL) levels. This balance contributes to better cardiovascular health. When used in moderation, cold pressed coconut oil can be a heart-healthy fat option that supports overall well-being.
Why Choose Oliverse Cold Pressed Coconut Oil?

What are Infused Oils?
Tumblr media
What are they?
Infused oils are herbal components or spices placed in a jar of carrier oil like Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Avacado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, etc. Can be used in cooking, herbal ailments and skincare.
Are they essential oils?
No. Short answer, no. Long answer? I'll give you an explanation. Essential oils are distilled using Steam Distillation, Solvent Extraction, CO2 Extraction, Maceration, Enfleurage, Cold Press Extraction, and or Water Distillation. Lotta words huh? It takes a lot of work to make essential oils. Unfortunately, it also takes quite a bit of that plant to make even those tiny 10ml bottles you purchase. Of course, each plant varies. However, it still can lead to a larger environmental impact.
For instance, one pound of essential oil can be extracted from approximately 250 pounds of rosemary leaves, or from 150 pounds of lavender buds, or say 50 pounds of eucalyptus leaves. This is why you see some as more expensive than others. Unfortunately, you can see where the problem lies in plants that are more threatened or endangered. If you must use essential oils, source responsibly (and not from a Pyramid scheme but I'm not opening that can of worms)
Can I use infused oils in my practice?
Yes! Absolutely! All these oil recipes you see for spell oils are exactly that. You can even use the elemental correspondences of the carrier oils you use for spell oils. As an example Olive Oil is traditionally known for the fire element and Coconut Oil is water. The possibilities for your personal correspondence are endless!
Now I'll stop rambling. Here are a few methods I learned to infuse oils in my courses and through self-herbalist study.
Method One:
The Folk Method - The most common
Directions
Place DRIED herbs in a clean, dry jar. Leave at least 1 to 3 inches of open space above your herbs to cover with oil.
Fill the remaining space in the jar with the oil of your choice, making sure to cover herbs by at least 1 inch or more. If the herbs emerge above the surface of the oil at any point while infusing, pour more oil on top to ensure the herbs remain covered.
Cap the jar tightly and shake well.
Place the jar in a sunny, warm windowsill and shake once or more per day.
After 2 to 3 weeks, strain the herbs out of the oil using cheesecloth or a mesh strainer. Or you can leave it in but straining is recommended if you are using dropper bottles as it clogs the caps.
Pour into clean glass bottles.
Remember to label your jars with the date, type of oil, and herbs used! You WILL forget! Trust me.
Store in a cool, dark place. The oil may keep for up to a year.
Method Two:
The Heat Infused Method - Quick Infusion
Directions
Place herbs in the crock pot or double boiler. Cover with extra virgin olive oil (or other carrier oil of choice), leaving at least an inch or two of oil above the herbs.
Gently heat the herbs over very low heat (preferably between 100° and 140° F for 1 to 5 hours, until the oil takes on the colour and scent of the herb. Some recommend heating the oil for 48 to 72 hours at a controlled temperature of 100° F. Turn off the heat and allow it to cool. I personally prefer letting it sit in a crock pot for 72 hours as I feel like I get all of the benefits out of the herb.
Once oil is cooled, strain using cheesecloth.
Bottle in dry, sterilized glass bottles. LABEL your bottles with the date and contents before storing them.
Store in a cool, dark, dry place for up to six months.
Best herbs to infuse in oil
There are a countless number of herbs, spices and resins that can be infused into the oil. Please make sure these herbs are free from pesticides and chemicals (not found on the roadside). Dried herbs work best as you don't want your mixture spoiling sooner. Here are some great examples of herbs to use.
Pine needles
Calendula flowers
Chamomile flowers
Lavender
Lemon balm
Peppermint leaf
Rosemary leaf
Thyme leaf
There you have it! Now have fun and source responsibility.
Happy witching!

DREAM GIRL INTRO 2/5 How To Get Started: high maintenance routine (PT 2)
Tumblr media
hello ladies,
Hey there! Thanks for sticking around for intro 2, part 2 of my high-maintenance routine. If you missed the previous post, it's on my page for you to catch up on. I've got more routines to share, so let's dive in and make it worthwhile! And remember, you don't have to do everything take some and leave some ☺️(I am not a medical professional, so please consult a doctor for proper advice, I'll place a ''*'' for the ones to look out for)
******************************weekly********************************
wash bedding: pillows, pillowcases, sheets, and blankets; stuffed animals too (If possible, I recommend washing them with lavender-scented detergent for a calming effect.)
everything shower: Shaving, scrubbing, masks— the works. You know how it is, ladies. (btw baby oil is the best shaving oil and it's cheap too! another alternative is coconut oil)
clean makeup/hair tools: It's important to establish a regular cleaning routine to keep your skin clear and prevent hair loss.
clean water bottle(s): Girls, it's great that you're staying hydrated, but don't forget to clean your water bottles. Many people overlook this and end up drinking mold, which can make you sick over time. (TIP: bleach makes mold stronger so sanitizing your water bottles with white vinegar is better and safe and no it won't taste like vinegar)
refresh space: it's nice to do a deep clean on your space/s so really be intentional (I like to write a to-do list the night before of what I need to get done in detail so I don't forget in the morning)
*24-hour gut reset*: Giving your body a 24-hour break from food can have numerous benefits, such as regulating blood sugar, metabolizing stored fat, and reducing the risk of heart disease.
************************monthly*************************************
*chemical peel*: I began using a chemical peel last month and have aGlready started to see results. I do not get professional treatments; instead, I use The Ordinary peeling solution. (follow the instructions to a T if you use it)
Mani/Pedi: Getting your nails done is an important part of a high-maintenance routine; it enhances your femininity. ( You don't have to use color if you don't want to; you can keep them clean and filed. )
brows: pluck uneven hairs to make sure everything is neat and polished.
*clay mask*: I use a clay mask with Aztec healing clay and apple cider vinegar(w/ the mother) to detox and clarify my hair.
I hope my routines have inspired you, bringing you one step closer to your dream girl.
-XOXOXO

Major problems of hair, skin and how Virgin Coconut Oil is the best solution for it?
Hair and skin care play a vital role in maintaining, boosting your personality and there are number of ayurvedic oils available online, offline to choose for your personal grooming. But the task of selecting best oil is very difficult and also in the same time you may be confused about which oil to purchase. In this blog post, we will delve into a comprehensive analysis of virgin coconut oil. In this article we will discuss about some common skin and hair problems and how it can be solved using natural oils like virgin coconut oil. Virgin Coconut Oil - An Introduction Virgin coconut oil extracted from fresh coconuts is a type of edible oil extracted from the raw coconuts without undergoing any extensive processes. It is considered "virgin" because it is extracted from fresh coconut instead of copra (dried coconut) as in the case of refined coconut oil. Common hair problems and their solutions: 1. Hair loss This is one of the most common problems among all of us due to our mistake and not taking proper care of our body. This can cause complete baldness. Hair loss could be due to various reasons such as a scalp infection, stress, poor diet, and tight hairstyles. Massaging warm virgin coconut oil onto the scalp can also improve blood circulation, and provides a healthy environment for hair growth. As we know there are many natural nutrients present in the virgin coconut oil that helps to nourish the scalp, strengthening the hair roots and preventing breakage. 2. Dandruff Half of the world are facing this problem and it is caused when excessive amount of oil is applied on the scalp. And this problem can be seen in both males and females also. The antimicrobial properties of virgin coconut oil will be used as an effective remedy for dandruff and scalp conditions like dryness and itchiness.
