when your favorite fics are snape becoming a mentor/father to harry, but the majority of the fics completely ruin both SNAPE AND HARRY. give me 100k+ words of snape realizing he treated harry bad, and gave me an extra 200k+ of words of harry warming up to snape, AND THEN, the 50k+ can be them becoming the other persons family. but it has to be slow and gradual, it has to address both of their traumas, it has to show their change, their perspective.

slow burn of enemies, to still enemies, to okay, to maybe more than okay(?), to make to enemies, THEN slight friendship, friendship, and then mentor.

i need that in my life.
