After the war, Marcus insisted that Percy move into a relatively big house with him, Oliver, Audrey, and Penny. When I say big house, I usually imagine between orphange and Burrow (tbh the Burrow itself is kind of big) but a few extra rooms big. Due to Percy being a parental and/or sibling figure to a lot of people, it usually isn't just the five of them even if you ignore the existence of Percy's canon kids. Most of the time, other people are over, it's his neices and nephews due to him having favourite uncle status. Then the inspection is conducted by a professional who spends several hours giving the final report.
What is a property inspection?
A property inspection includes the visual inspection of an inspector. Note that they do not carry out detailed inspections like those that are present but not visible. This includes visible and accessible components and systems of the property. For example structure, roof, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and many more. The inspector also identifies other minor and major issues that can potentially affect the integrity of a property. This includes old roofing systems that need to be replaced, safety issues, such as potential fire hazards, plumbing problems, water leakage that leads to hazardous wall cracks, and an increase in water bills. The inspector usually clicks photographs and provides a detailed report of potential issues.
Why are property inspections important?
A property inspection is important because it will give an idea to the potential buyers about the condition of a property. Often, it can help buyers identify whether the property is worth an investment or not.
If there are any potential problems with the property structure, then they will help you assess how much money you’ll need for repairs. They help you determine how much money you’ll need to budget for any necessary repairs or maintenance.
They ensure that the property is properly valued and there are no hidden charges. This can be used to negotiate the purchase price of the property.
They also ensure that the best quality building materials such as metal, wood, cement, electrical wires, tiles, etc, are used for the construction.
Steps to arrange a property inspection
Research and find a reputable property inspector:- Look for a licensed and experienced property inspector nearby. You can get various property inspectors by searching on the internet or you can ask some of your family members, friends, etc who have contacts with any real estate agents.
Schedule an appointment: Once you have identified your property inspector, contact them and schedule an appointment for a property inspection by coordinating with the real estate agent to find a suitable date and time.
Attend the inspection: It is better for a property buyer to attend the inspection in person with the property inspector as it will allow you to observe the inspector's findings firsthand and ask any questions you may have about the property.
Review the inspection report: After the inspection, the inspector will provide a detailed report The report will typically include information about the property's structural integrity, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and other important aspects. Take the time to carefully review the report and consult with the inspector if you have any concerns or questions.
Make an informed decision: Based on the inspection report, you can make a more informed decision regarding the property. If significant issues are discovered during the inspection, you may negotiate with the seller to address the problems or consider whether the property is still a suitable investment.
What happens if something is wrong with the property?
There are several things to consider before buying a property. Your real estate agent can look over your contract and let you know of a possible course of action. If the inspection reveals something wrong with the property, you will have several options. The property buyer can go for a negotiation on a lower price depending on the legal agreements in place. 
If the issues discovered are minor you can opt to repair them by yourself but if the issue is larger such as pipe leaking in the basement, diagonal cracks, and much more then you have the right to take legal action against the seller.
You can also decide to cancel the purchase altogether and request full refund. This is more common in the case of a home which has been inspected by the less experienced inspector.
