*Everyone is standing around the broken coffee maker*
Bradford : So. Who broke it? I'm not mad, I just wanna know.
Everyone:
Susan : ...I did. I broke it.
Bradford : No. No you didn't. Buford?
Buford : Don't look at me. Look at Bentley.
Bentley : What?! I didn't break it.
Buford : Huh, that's weird. How'd you even know it was broken?
Bentley : Because it's sitting right in front of us and it's broken.
Buford : Suspicious.
Bentley : No, it's not!
Brycen : If it matters, probably not, but Collin was the last one to use it.
Collin : Liar! I don't even drink that crap!
Brycen : Oh really? Then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier?
Collin : I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticles. Everyone knows that, Brycen!
Susan : Okay let's not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it, Bradford.
Bradford : No! Who broke it!?
Everyone:
Brycen : Bradford ... Buford 's been awfully quiet.
Buford : rEALLY?!
*Everyone starts arguing*
Bradford , being interviewed: I broke it. I burned my hand so I punched it.
Bradford : I predict 10 minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with warpaint on their faces and a pig head on a stick.
Bradford :
Bradford : Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.

I like think Bradford created fanfiction(?) where his parents where still alive through his childhood and he never went on adventures with Finch and like, these self indulgent pieces of fiction are very important to him. Basically like comfort media for him, though he’d never call it that.
And I also like to think Bentley and Bulford could actually have found them and had a very awkward scene with Bradford.

Six Sentence Sunday (Karass Edition)
Heavy fog and a chilling breeze crept with the stealth of a domestic feline.
“How long has it been?”
“Welcome to Duckburg University!”
Outside a quaint and peaceful sidewalk coffee place…
“Directors.” Was the Austere magpie’s response.
Down a pitch black and narrow corridor…

A man so similar to his canon counterpart that I worried I wouldn’t have enough to say about him to fill the space I had left on his sheet, it’s Bradford! Semi-related note - I think I’m going to change FOWL’s official pallete to be monochromatic, without the inclusion of the red. I think it fits Bradfords order and logic themeing, and means I can give other characters red clothing without worrying I’m accidentally FOWL coding them lmao. OH, and all the FOWL agents have bird themed codenames, because SHUSH already stole the numbers idea Bradford wanted, and he likes birds.
Meet the Cast!

More FOWL Donald AU stuff
Based on convos I had with @battlecry51
Kay K will be in the fowl Don au only near the end to take the buzzard brothers to the agency. And Mrs B will take heron to shush.
Donald uses magic for more extreme disguises such as during Phantom and the sorceress, when he uses magic to disguise himself more effectively.
During the missions where his family is involved Donald is in the background watching the kids, kinda like a guardian angel. Even saving them if needed. During swanstine he saved Webby from falling to her death.
During swanstaine episode, Agent Duck will fight scrooge instead of heron.
Lost Cargo will be more important to the plot, but kit will still be in the episode and be characterized differently to fit with tailspin. (Idk anything about tailspin so if anyone wants to help with that go ahead) Della first meets Agent Duck and fight him in a sword fight, there’s something familiar about him but she can quite place it. When Agent Duck sees what the stone does, he wants to destroy or leave it behind, while Don Karnage will want to take it back to Fowl and not fail the mission plus treasure.
April May and June will be in this AU to help in the plan of attack in the main fowl base with Xandra and Donald.
Xandra will be disguised as a egghead for a bit. You think it would fail considering she’s a human not an animal but eggheads are well…. Eggheads
Objection! All contradictions with the contract: First contradiction is that he tried to hurt Della (not Donald cause angst baby) second contradiction is that anyone in the family can break the rule of never adventuring again, and Donald already broke that rule because he was on an adventure this whole time. And finally, Bradford can’t get rid of all adventures that’s literally impossible so he was destined to lose from the start. Cause adventure is in their blood. I believe that the family is the greatest adventure of all is a good message, but it was overused to hell, and I saw it coming from a mile away in the finale, so I changed it. There’s more stupidity to the contract but yeah.
I’m still trying to think of how the Buzzard brothers would be in terms of backstory and personality, so this is all o have for now: Bentley and Buford also went on adventures with their grandma and brother, Bentley was a bit more fond of them, but never admitted it. While Buford was more neutral about it. Bentley is the more outspoken one, who usually brings common sense whenever it’s lost on his brothers. While Buford is more of a watcher a bit shy. the relationship between all of them is really rocky, due to Bradford’s attitude on family, and other factors like a toxic household growing up etc. But both Bentley and Buford, want to be with Bradford even if Bradford doesn’t want them. I also added a bit of faith just to how he sees himself as doing what god would want which is order. He only believes in one god not multiple, which is why he wants to get rid of em. And the reason for the project name Lux Dei is because he saw the clones as the light of god, to help in his plans. Bentley and Bradford fight the most due to disagreements, etc Gladstone has a bigger role in the Phantom and the sorceress, about his insecurities with his luck and loneliness, etc.
SteelBeak will be characterized more closely to the original Darkwing Duck version.
Some sketchs based on these ideas and random

Round up of my wild week 20th-28th May 2023
The past week has been an amazing one for butterflies and moths, with a super lepidoptera day on the 20th seeing my first Marsh Fritillary, Small Blue, Large White and Painted Lady of the year at Magdalen Hill as well as seeing and photographing Pearl-bordered Fritillary at Bentley Wood, and seeing my first ever Common Carpet moth and Mother Shipton of the year not long after and my first Cinnabar moth of the year at Magdalen Hill and Bentley Wood respectively. My quest to see a Brown Argus this year went into another week of Lakeside lunch time and evening walks but I didn’t have to wait long as on a perfect evening walk on Monday, among the oxeye daisies in the growing grassy banks of the bowl area I was thrilled to spot two of these rich and gorgeous gems. We had an amazing experience watching the electric blue of Adonis Blues at Martin Down the day before yesterday. An exceptional species to see. Brown Argus, Common Blue and Marsh Fritillary as well as Grizzled Skipper, Dingy Skipper, Orange Tip, Painted Lady, Small Blue and Cinnabar moth were ones we saw again at Martin Down, with Holly Blue, Small Copper and Green-veined White ones I saw throughout the week bringing a good fluid feel to it. A Brown House moth was good to see at home this week.

There were some sensational bird moments this week too, particularly on 21st getting amazing views of Hobby at Fishlake Meadows and Garganey at Pennington, two of my greatest birds seen this year so far, ones I adore and ones I had been really wanting to add to my year. I’ve had a good week for seeing Buzzards, Red Kites and Kestrels and it has been wonderful to see and hear Cuckoos well throughout the week again with some smashing views at Fishlake Meadows what a spring I’m having for them. I got excellent views of Grey Partridge, Yellowhammer and Corn Bunting again this year at Martin Down and Avocet and Little Tern at Pennington with Garden Warbler at Fishlake Meadows a strong one to see and Greenfinch, Whitethroat and Swift strong constants of the week. As the chick grows in the gully I was excited to get a glimpse of Winnie the Peregrine Falcon at Winchester Cathedral on Thursday lunch time. A big headline of my week for birds was starting to see the juvenile Starlings come into the garden this year, the long-awaited arrival for me of these shiny, joyous and positively noisy birds. I enjoyed seeing goslings, ducklings and the Great Crested Grebe (it was good to see some doing a courtship dance at Pennington too) and Moorhens on nests at Lakeside too. A Grey Heron was a pleasant Lakeside highlight on Friday.

It was a bumper week of other wildlife for me especially beetles, with Swollen-thighed beetles seen on an oxeye daisy in the heat and sun on Friday’s Lakeside lunch time walk and interestingly on a daisy in Manchester as we went there for football yesterday. The crimson charm of a Carindal beetle was one I was overjoyed to see at Lakeside on Tuesday too. At Magdalen Hill the Saturday before last and Lakeside on Friday I loved seeing slow worms. A big revelation of my week has been demoiselles, with as is often the case at this time of year my first Banded Demoiselle of the year at Fishlake Meadows on a wonderful sunny day. Then at Lakeside on all three of my lunch time walks this week I saw a Beautiful Demoiselle. It was a pleasure to observe these delicate and alluring insects. Hairy Dragonfly at Fishlake Meadows was good to see and other damselflies especially Blue-tailed were good constants of the week. I liked seeing bees and even a Hornet nearly coming into my room this week too. A Yellow-haired sun fly at Bentley Wood the Saturday before last and also Common Lizards that day were nice too.

My flower week saw a few thrilling firsts with my first ever butterfly orchid at Martin Down on Saturday one of my best flowers seen this year alongside the burnt-tip orchids emerged, top moments with exquisite species. I enjoyed seeing the lakeside common spotted orchids come out on my lunch time walks. My first scarlet pimpernel of the year at Lakeside, horseshoe vetch a real revelation at Magdalen Hill and Martin Down, nice bits of bird’s-foot trefoil, thrift, medick, poppies in the flower bed out the front, milkwort, wood avens, crane’s-bill, sorrel, bright broad-leaved clover, plantain, water dropwort, a trio of oxeye daisies, yellow iris and buttercups painting landscapes, yellow rattle and herb-Robert were other highlights.

What a week for landscapes with so much bright sunshine to use in shots and so much beauty to take in from intense May blossom, glorious emerald scenes, sparkling water, inspiring sky and more. These at Lakeside on Friday evening and Martin Down on Saturday two of my favourites to take.
I am on a pretty busy run of weekends of late with the next three of them for reasons that will be revealed as my daily posts go on very packed. So I will park these weekly posts until the end of June. I will consider at that point whether to rest them for the summer as when I started them in the winter it was largely birds as my full focus at that time of year and less weekend days where we went out in mornings so they were easy to squeeze in. Whereas every facet of my interest is well up and running for the year now, I am seeing different things day to day more so and I’m out on weekend mornings and have other things to do then a fair bit. I also feel since I revamped my posting here the more concise daily posts have still allowed me to convey a lot of feeling, description and context of my wild encounters. I have however really enjoyed exploring posts in this style so I may make my end of the month post for June or if I decide to rest these the rest of the summer a bit more in this style.

On this day in Disney Duck history…
April 4
Shortly after the Junior Woodchuck Wilderness Challenge concludes, the Duck-McDuck family discovers Isabella Finch's greatest treasure: her journal containing a list of shrouded artifacts called the Missing Mysteries. With a brand new adventure awaiting them, FOWL lurks within the shadows, seeking to obtain the Missing Mysteries for themselves. The season 3 premiere of DuckTales (2017), "Challenge of the Senior Junior Woodchucks!", is the first of two episodes to premiere one year ago today on Disney XD.

They are brothers, aren't they? I will think they are 'till authors say otherwise.
I think buzzards have something to remember from their childhood(although it was many years ago)

Idea for your Team Spyience AU: So, the board knows most of Scrooge’s business stuff, but Gyro can get closer. He is, in a way, part of the family. He can get in places that the board can’t, ask questions the board can’t, get info the board can’t. He, and the rest of Team Science, can get to Clan McDuck from the inside.
Also if you walk around a corner and find Gyro totally not suspiciously standing there, it’s less freaky than finding a cranky old buzzard guy. Or finding freaking Steelbeak
OH YEAH KSDFGHFDSDFG YOU RIGHT I DIDN’T EVEN THINK OF THAT!! i love it thank you so much!!
and also like, this is a bit morbid but if Gyro acts a little too suspicious and Fowl loses that advantage, well, no harm no foul (ha). especially after they get the rest of Team Science under their thumb. Gyro will lose Scrooge’s trust and favor at best, but it’s more likely he’ll lose his job and his career will be ruined. So it’ll be horrible for Gyro, but no real loss to Fowl. All the more motivation for Gyro to stay hidden, and all the more reason to panic when Team Science discovers him! First he’s scared for his safety, and then theirs, once they’re in the same boat as him.
the mental image of Steelbeak hiding around the corner from Scrooge & co. in the Money Bin like furiously and suspiciously scribbling down notes on a notepad and spying on them the old-fashioned way is absolutely hilarious to me tho. and very much in character!
thank you for the ask!! i’ll definitely use this idea, I love it!! I’m so happy you guys are still interested in this AU asdfghgfd. I’ll try to post something for it that’s not an ask soon!

For the record, I knew those buzzards were bad news from the beginning.
Never trusted them. Knew something more had to be going on.
