𓅀PET ASTROLOGY𓅇
Copywrites reserved ©️Gemini Moon Madness
Like humans, animals have unique natal chart placements. This post is in regards to your pets sun sign, though if you are aware of their moon sign, you may see those traits come through as well.
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
🐾🐾🐾
Aries pets like to lead the way and be in charge, especially when on a walk! (They’re the dogs tugging on their leash) These pets will be harder to train than most and are known to not come when they’re called. Even though they have highly independent traits, they will still want to be the centre of your world. These pets may always be injuring themselves in accidents quite often and get to know the vet very well lol. They are confident & strong no matter what kind or size.
Taurus pets are extremely laid back. They love food to the point they’ll always check whatever you offer them out even if they’re not hungry or in the mood. They love to take regular naps! They appreciate affection but only when they’re in the mood. They can also be shy & don’t like be shown off to strangers. Loud noises and chaos stress them out so they need a peaceful environment.
I had a Taurus dog that was terrified of thunderstorms & lawn mowers. Even the noise of the builders 2 doors down was enough to force him out of his element.
Gemini pets can get moody. They can be passive and agreesive, have their good and bad days, sometimes they are outgoing, sometimes they’ll be reserved and distant. They are a quick learner as they are quite smart. They prefer to form a bond with more than one person rather than following the “ownership” dynamic. These pets are prone to separation anxiety/nervousness, they can be indecisive in their eating habits, love going for walks and are affectionate. They also love social environments and being spoken to.
Cancer pets are loving and may need continuous attention and reassurance. They are such sweet pets, very sensitive. They like to comfort eat & can become overweight/unhealthy easily. They make friends with other pets, as if they were a companion to them also. Moving home or visiting new and unfamiliar places can make these pets uncomfortable and a lil annoyed with you - They may not seem like themselves for a while until they settle in or get over it.
Leo pets have a pride about them, they’re warm, generous and the most loyal pets out there. They have energy to burn and will always be up for an outdoor adventure (their favourite!!) They love being heard and are known to regularly bark, even for no reason lol. This pet will enjoy to be the centre of attention wherever you take them, whether you’re at home, a friends house or the park, this pet is happy in the spotlight. Other pets may bully your Leo pet due to jealousy & feeling the need to assert dominance.
Virgo is the calm and quiet pet. They love routine and don’t like change, though these pets can handle stressful situations quite well. They like to follow you around, they will be a loyal travelling buddy as they tend to stick by your side when they are outdoors. Very intelligent and analytical which makes them easier to train than most pets. They enjoy it when you talk to them throughout the day, they may even try respond with their voice.
Libra pets are indecisive, one day they may like a treat, the next they will turn their head up at it. They will usually eat when they want to. They need structure and going with the flow won’t work for these pets. They also may suffer from a short attention span, (similar to ADD) which makes them slightly harder to train. These pets are extremely loving and need gentle discipline to feel safe & secure.
Scorpio pets are highly emotional but also strong willed. They usually get what they want and tend to stand over other pets, maybe even people! They require structure, because without it they will take advantage of everyone and everything they come in contact with. These pets would benefit from daily exercise/activity to relieve stress and built up tension (dog: walks, bird: let out of cage, cat: backyard time, toys). These pets love being groomed and in your company. They know what’s bad company and don’t forget when they’re wronged, they may make it known when they dislike someone.
Sagittarius pets love a challenge. These pets have such a happy go lucky vibe to them, they’re very outgoing and kind. They radiate positivity, maybe even with a visible smile on their face. These pets have a tendency to be picked on by other pets, so keep an eye on them. They believe you’re their one true love and will adore your affection. They are very loyal and will want to be with you at all times, this sometimes turns into separation anxiety with some Sagittarius pets. They love to have another companion in the house, they like company so the more pets the merrier for them.
Capricorn are the clean pets, they are extremely grounded and will act the way as you’d typically expect the species/breed of pet to act. Very easy to train though they do have a mind of their own. They always want to be working as they enjoy keeping busy. They love to run around! These pets don’t sleep as much as other pets do and they also suffer from anxiety in stressful situations. Capricorn pets may not like having a companion and will take their time to get used to any new pets or people.
Aquarius pets are highly intelligent and intuitive. They are unpredictable and can go from 0 to 100 real quick! They like to do what they want and when they want. They make for extremely loving and friendly pets. These pets will befriend another companion despite what it is whether you get a dog, cat or chicken. (They’re the pets you see in those cute videos where a pig and cat are besties or dog and duck, etc 🥹) Aquarius pets need their space and enjoy alone time to plot their next surprise for when you least expect it!
Pisces pets are the most sensitive out of the lot. They are very sweet and need a tranquil atmosphere to flourish as they can get stressed out easily. These pets usually get bullied by other pets for their non-aggressive nature. They are independent in the way that they do what they want without attracting attention. Pisces pets are sensitive to your emotions and may require gentle training and when they become afraid they want you to be there comforting them. They know what you want and will have YOU well trained 😉

I agree that the UA teachers should've had more connection to the students. How do you think certain teachers could've mentored certain hero students? All I can think of is Aizawa teaching Hanta cuz similar tools and Present Mic teaching Kyoka and Manga cuz sound and/or mouth-based Quirks. Maybe Cementoss teaching Ibara and Shoto and Kojiro cuz wide-scale attacks?
For the sake of this, I'm ignoring Vlad King, Recovery Girl, and Power Loader. I just don't think that they have a lot to offer the other students. And I'll also not cover your own suggestions. I do think those are good suggestions, which is why I feel like it'd be redundant to cover them.
Gran Torino-Iida and Kosei: Gran Torino has the perfect ability to help both the boys in their own way. Whether pulling on his knowledge of movement to help out Iida or his reliance on his air flow to train Kosei.
Hound-Tsuyu and Jutora: Hound covers fields with both of these two, having an Animal Mutation with Tsuyu and have a similar skill set to Jutora. Shoot, they could even benefit from his knowledge on counseling, helping Tsuyu comfort people she's saving
Nezu-Momo and Monoma: This is less about helping them with their Quirks as much as it is helping out them as leaders and getting them to apply their own intellect as well as they can. Plus, it could help deal with the two's respective issues with egos early on.
Cementoss-Kirishima and Juzo: Cementoss can help these two in their own ways, improving Juzo's ability to move and apply his power and helping Kirishima improve his defenses. Especially since his own power can play against both of them so well.
Midnight-Denki and Komori: Denki and Komori both have Quirks with a lot of range and power, but not much in the way of control. Hey, just like Midnight. I'm sure she'd have plenty of tips on controlling and aiming such unwieldy powers.
Snipe-Aoyama and Rin: As tempted I was to put Pony here for the cow girl joke, I figured Aoyama and Rin needed Snipe's help more. The two need a lot of help reworking on their aim. Especially since the two can't seem to hit any living target.
Present Mic-Koda and Bondo: While these two do have Quirks that are based around the mouth, it's more about personality. Bondo and Koda are both extremely shy and can barely speak most times. So having Present Mic around could help a lot in breaking them out of their shells.
Thirteen-Mina and Kamakiri: These two have some of the most dangerous Quirks in either of their classes. Someone like Thirteen could help them exercise better control over their powers and help focus their intense energy into something more helpful, like dealing with rescue work.
Ectoplasm-Shoji and Setsuna: Ectoplasm has a power that makes it so he has to deal with plenty of sensory input and divided attention. This would make him a good fit for Setsunna and Shoji given how much their powers focus on information gathering and their own sensory abilities.
Eraserhead-Ojiro and Sen: Considering that these two are the go to hand to hand fighters of their respective classes, it's only fitting they work with the best marital artist in the series. Maybe they could even pick up some of his equipment, like Ojiro could get some clatrops to throw around or Sen could get the Capture Tape.

what is the wardi zodiac system like? what's the worst and best signs, and how seriously do people take the stars youre born under?
Ok here's a full overview because I had this like 75% typed up already
The Wardi zodiac is a very direct interpretation of each constellation the sun passes through in its ecliptic over the course of the year. There is no attempt to divide these signs evenly throughout the year (as in the western zodiac), rather every single constellation the sun passes has its own zodiac sign (ie the sun only passes the tail of the Lion for about a week of the year, while the sun takes about a month to pass through the entirety of the Gull, making the former a significantly less common sign than the latter).
As such, there are 20 astrological signs in the base system (all of which are animals). Seven of the base signs correlate directly with the seven Faces of God (the zodiac system actually predated this religion, and some preexisting signs may have been retroactively modified to fit). All of these seven signs are considered auspicious and highly positive (though still ascribed some negative personality traits), and are seen as uniquely blessed by their respective Face.
One’s zodiac sign is assumed to be highly informative of their nature and personality. One’s birthsign is described as ‘(constellation)-born’, and the personality associated gains an epithet of ‘(constellation)-faced’. IE: Someone born under the sign of the ox is Ganops (ox-born), to have the personality associated is to be Ganmachen (ox-faced).
The faces associated with the birthsigns may be used as complimentary epithets in speech and verse when the sign is considered auspicious (ie “Lion-faced Faiza”/“Faiza odomachen”), or used disparagingly, especially “dog-faced” (chinmachen), a fairly common insult that describes someone as vicious and lowly.
A birthsign is taken very seriously within the Imperial Wardi cultural sphere, but does not necessarily have fundamental impact upon the average person's daily life. There can be social benefits and detriments associated- many people will want to avoid association with certain birthsigns, or will use them as a basis to judge character. Those in leadership positions may particularly benefit from having an auspicious sign or hiding an inauspicious one. If you exist in the public eye, your sign is extremely likely to come under scrutiny and invite judgments of character, or to add ammunition to other judgments (ie it is frequently noted when unpopular historical kings were dog-born).
They're also usually taken into account for marriage arrangements, as there are established senses of compatibility among the birthsigns. This is most prominent at levels of wealth where one can afford to be choosy about arrangements, but not so high that the arrangement itself is political in nature (thus superseding concerns about compatibility).
The most significance of one's birthsign in day to day life is in the context of astrology and of traditional medicine (a holistic practice that takes a variety of physical and spiritual factors into account). The position of the stars and other celestial bodies are considered to have very strong effects on the world and individuals, as an aspect of God's spirit and Its perpetual flow through the world (the Faces Mitlamache, Inyamache, and especially Kusomache preside most heavily over the movements of the heavens). The common person is unlikely to do a detailed consultation of the stars daily, but will often seek the services of an astrologer before making major moves or life changes, or to help identify sickness. Priests devoted to Kusomache are universally trained in astrology and often provide these services, as are most healers.

Jockbull Summer Week 3 Set A (26/11/23-2/12/23)
Model is Tsonghan Wu
1.
The Highest score this week is 39 in one go. I kept hitting an unfortunate timing block where I keep having push up days directly after my Chest gym sessions. In those I'd usually struggle to get to about 30. But I'd do Pause push ups to make up for the lapse. Those feel so good. Another benefit of this is the constant failure and progressive overload is exploding my chest. In 3 weeks of doing these in addition to MURDERING Push days, my pecs have grown so much. Gonna have a whole library shelf by the end of the summer.
2.
This one was a bit of a bust this week. My bro’s were out sick or busy so i couldn’t challenge them to anything. And I just didn’t have a chance to do the non-muscle comps either. No one was around. Anyone out there wanna offer themselves up as my Anime rival? Come on. Make me wanna beat you, pussies. All challengers welcome. Give me the pleasure of victory or the drive of defeat.
3.
2nd piece of clothing gone. I’m happy this one bit the dust. It’s an old one that i got in about 2019. I thought it was good cause I liked the feel of flow-y oversized clothes. But as time’s gone on I realize that this shirt actively makes me dysmorphic. The Horizontal stripes. The Monocrome washing me out. The way it hangs off my body and disguises any growth. The old discoloration reminding me of much worse times. I’m happy to throw this away. If I was more wasteful I'd fucking burn it. But some schmuck at a charity shop can have it instead.
4.
Dude’s I’m so fucking good at this accent lol. If I ever move to another country again i’m making this my default. Had so many chances to practice and show it off. A whole hour long chat with jockrs, a half hour call with my bro @jocksupremacy, A jock NPC in a game i run, Even showed it off a tiny bit on a date with this cute dude. I get such euphoria from hearing how i sound with it. Maybe i should consider Cali for my postgrad. Come for the school, stay for the Venice Beach muscle bro culture and frat parties.
5.
This show is dumb as fuck and I love it! It’s also so fucking gay and you can’t tell me there isn’t something a little fruity about all the gymbros latching onto this the way that they did.
6.
No new Gym bros, but lots of opportunities to chat with the ones i’ve already got. Which is progress in and of itself. Adrian comes and talks and I actually had an opportunity to help him train his triceps cause he was doing cable Pushdowns so wrong. I sometimes feel a little lecherous admiring the muscle of my gym bros because it is such a strong erotic factor for me. But there’s also so much of just pure aesthetic appreciation for all the ways these men are beautiful and astonishing. The small details in every growing body. The appreciation and glory in someone’s normal appearance that you can only really appreciate in person, looking in their eyes.

Not Your Hero. Chapter 6
CHAPTER SIX
Chapter one, Chapter two, Chapter three, Chapter four, Chapter five
AN: Whaaaaaaat? A chapter of a WIP? From me? Insanity
Characters: Finnick Odair, Coriolanus Snow, Mags Flanagan, James Karakus, Annie Cresta
Pairings: Finnick x reader
Spoiler(s): None
Warning(s): Mentions of blood, death, murder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, psychological manipulation, intimidation
Prompt/Inspiration: House in Nebraska - Ethel Cain
----------------------------------
While the games are on, no one ever really leaves the viewing room. Finnick knew that, all the mentors did, but for you this was a whole new experience. He watched you pace like a caged animal, stress eat from the neverending flow of food brought in by avoxes, and talk with James in a low voice whenever something happened. He knew for a fact that you didn’t sleep at all. Some of the others did, he did, but you just sat on the couch every night with your knees pulled up under your chin, staring at the screen.
Because of that, you watched Adam Donaldson die in real time on the second night. Finnick had stayed up with you, sitting in a shared and quiet vigil because, if he was honest, he’d seen it coming. Maybe you’d seen it too, because the first tear had slipped down your cheek before the careers had even noticed the smoke from Adam’s small campfire and made the connection. Finnick wished he could say it had been quick and painless, an arrow to the heart, a snapped neck. It wasn’t. It had been a slow day and Finnick knew better than anyone how those kids were trained, first and foremost, to entertain. He tried not to watch Annie, tried not to watch you watching Annie, reminded himself not to tell you that Annie was a good girl, really, that she was just doing as she was told. Compassion would come later, he promised himself, for now you were living one of the worst moments in a mentor’s life. You wouldn’t appreciate a spirited defense of your tribute’s killer.
It took the careers three full hours to finally put Adam Donaldson out of his misery, and you didn’t make a sound the entire time. You didn’t shift or move or eat. You barely blinked. Adam screamed and bled and died, and Finnick watched you bear it, adding another lost life to the list of sins you could never really really be forgiven for. A few mentors tried to stop by and comfort you but you brushed them off or snapped for them to leave you alone, like an animal in a trap. Finnick was the only person who was spared your annoyance so he held your hand and didn’t let go. He didn’t try and tell you that it wasn’t your fault, he knew you wouldn’t have listened. Instead, he just promised that it would be over soon. Just hang on, he whispered again and again, just hold on for a little longer and then it’ll be over. If nothing else, it would be over.
When the dust settled and the remaining body fragments had been collected, Finnick had watched something in you deflate and his heart pinched. He knew that moment, the pain, the guilt, the relief. You’d made it through. You’d gritted your teeth and made it through.
“First one’s the hardest,” Haymitch had slurred, shocking Finnick, who hadn’t thought Haymitch had even noticed what was happening, “Gets easier,” he shrugged, “or so they keep telling me.”
You gave him a look, as though you were weighing up the benefits of biting his head off, but eventually you just nodded, “Thanks, Haymitch.”
“Don’t thank me,” he replied, “I didn’t say it gets bearable.”
Finnick felt a rush of protectiveness sweep over him, but he forced himself to just stay at your side until you assured him that you would be alright, and then he allowed himself a rest. You returned to your pattern. You watched the male tribute from Four get beheaded by a rival a few days later, watched Serena slip away into the darkness, clutching a bleeding shoulder that wouldn’t heal, watched Annie’s psyche start to crack as she isolated herself and cradled the air, imagining it was her partner’s bloody body. And you told it all to Finnick each morning in a dull, monotone voice, the bags under your eyes getting darker and darker with each passing day. He wanted to help. He wished that there was something he could say or do to help you deal with the grief, but he couldn’t. He had to focus, to keep his eye on the end point and, right now, he had other things on his mind.
Annie was AWOL.
Losing Ajack had broken something inside of her. You’d told him the whole story; about how he’d gotten into an argument with the boy from District one, how they’d pushed and shoved at one another until the boy from one had picked up an ax and ended it, hacking at Ajack’s neck while his partner held Annie back. Apparently she’d screamed at the boy to stop, begged him even, and after Ajack’s head had been completely severed, she’d held his body for so long that the hovercraft hadn’t been able to collect it until the early hours of the morning. After that, she’d vanished, disappearing into the bush without any supplies. Whenever the camera found her now, she was muttering to herself, or fiddling with her fingers, or staring out into space like she wasn’t there anymore.
Finnick had never felt more helpless. He’d chewed his nails down to the beds, and used every tool of persuasion in his arsenal to keep sponsors from pulling out. He supplied Annie with food and water, with sleeping gear and climbing supplies. None of it had helped. Now, as he clung to the very edges of his sanity and wracked his brain, he had to admit: he was out of tricks. There was nothing else he could do. The sponsors had pulled out in favor of the pair from district one; Annie had no weapons and, even if she did, she was in no fit state to use them and, worst of all, it had been nearly two days since the last gruesome death. That usually meant one thing; the crowd would be getting antsy and the gamemakers would be planning something awful. He watched Annie’s lifeless body on the screen as she twitched and muttered in her sleep, his heart twisting into painful knots.
“Finnick!” Annie screeched, giggling as she scrambled up the rocks and away from his attacks, “Stop! I don’t want to get wet.”
“Why?” he laughed, pushing up off the ocean floor and letting himself float on his back.
The cool water lapped against his temples, filling his ears and cradling his body in its strong, reliable arms. He loved the water, lived for it. There was nowhere that he felt more at home, or more like himself than when he could taste saltwater on his lips and feel sand on his skin. His stomach churned with anxiety and a mixture of fear and anticipation, but he breathed in deep, filling his lungs with bright sunlight and the smell of warm ocean rocks and let the rocking of the waves soothe him.
Annie was perched on the rocks like a seabird, her long dark hair swirling and tangling in the wind as she watched him swim, a kind of quiet longing in her eyes. Not for Finnick himself of course, but for his comfort, for his ease in the ocean. Annie was terrified of the sea, she always had been. She was a strong swimmer, as all the kids in district four were, but she’d never trusted it, never truly believed that it could carry her and support her weight. She always felt, privately, in the back of her mind, that it was just waiting to drag her under, to a dark watery grave. Finnick opened one eye and gave her, what he hoped was, a confident smile.
“Like what you see, Cresta?” he joked
She scoffed, a delicate blush coloring her cheeks, “You wish.” she paused, worrying at the inside of her cheek, “How are you never nervous? It’s reaping day, and you haven’t even broken a sweat.”
Finnick pushed forward, tipping into a steady tread, and shrugged, “Nothing to be nervous about. We’re fourteen, Annie, it’s not going to be us.”
“It might be,” she argued, “York said that none of the older kids are volunteering this year.”
“Why wouldn’t they be?”
Annie shrugged, “They just aren’t.”
“But they have to.” He insisted, “That’s the rules.”
“We haven’t won in years,” Annie reminded him, “I think they’re just sick of volunteering to die.”
Finnick pressed his lips together, feeling the cold hand of dread creeping into his chest again. No volunteers? That was unheard of. What would happen now? A normal reaping? Could anyone be picked now? Could he be picked? He met Annie’s eye and saw his own terror reflected there in vibrant sea green.
“It won’t be us, Annie,” he assured her, hoping that he sounded more confident than he was, “I promise you, it won’t be us.”
Finnick’s eyes started to sting and he swore softly under his breath, burying his head in his hands and carding his fingers through his hair. It felt like his heart was shattering piece by piece and dragging him down into the depths along with it. Out of the corner of his eye Finnick saw a familiar shadow and, despite everything, some of the tension in his shoulders relaxed. You collapsed onto the couch beside him, reaching out and resting a hand on his back comfortingly. God, he hated how good that felt. He hated how he longed to lean into your touch, to bury his head in the crook of your neck and weep like the broken boy he was. I’m just a kid! He wanted to scream, I can’t do this! I can’t do this anymore!
“I know, Fin,” you whispered, as though you could read his mind, “you’re doing so well.”
A tear slipped down his cheek and he shook his head frantically, “Annie’s screwed. The sponsor’s are gone, she’s barely eating. There’s nothing I can do to save her.”
You were quiet for a moment, “There’s never anything we can do, really. It’s always just a big gamble.”
“I know but-”
“And you aren’t out of sponsors. I spoke to my guys and they’re going to back Annie since-” You pressed your lips together, “since Adam’s gone and Serena-well-she’s not going to be able to hold on much longer.”
Finnick’s head shot up, a mixture of relief and incredulousness filling him so suddenly that he wasn’t even sure he’d heard you right.
“What? Y/N, no-I can’t accept that.”
You shrugged, a hint of a sad smile at the corner of your mouth, “Good thing you don’t have a say then. Take the help, Finnick. If not for you, then for Annie. She needs you on top of your game right now.”
He remembered the way Adam had called for his mother, how you’d flinched as each slow, deliberate cut had chipped away at the person he’d been until there was only a bloody corpse. Annie had been a part of that but, looking at you now, it didn’t seem to matter.
He shook his head again, the momentary relief being swallowed up again by hopelessness, “She can’t win. She can’t even seem to walk in a straight line right now.”
For a long moment you just watched the screen together, two victors acting in perfect synchronicity. You watched the pair from district one slice through the underbrush like demigods, looking powerful and determined and painfully self-assured. Smart money was on them, anyone could see that. They had everything on their side; all the training, all the sponsors, all the gear and, most dangerously, that deadly team mentality that would keep them together until it stopped serving them. Finnick knew how powerful that bond could be, it had kept him alive more than once during his games and his every instinct told him it would get this pair through it too. However, as useful as weapons, sponsors, food and allies were, you’d had none of that. You’d been alone from the moment you were reaped. You had no skills, no real buzz, no friends. No one had given you more than half a look in the Capitol, and you’d come out on top anyway. The thought gave Finnick hope. Maybe Annie wasn’t completely screwed. Maybe, with you by his side, Finnick could still find a way to bring her home.
---------------------------------
No one had really believed Annie Cresta had a shot. Not James, not Chaff, not Brutus, not Seeder, not even Mags really. When Ajack had died, every reliable metric in the book had said that district four’s hopes of having a winner on their hands had died with him. But every reliable metric in the book had also had you pegged as an early death, so you said fuck the metrics, and believed in her anyway. The more you felt Finnick give up, the harder you believed. The more other mentors started to gently suggest that you let her go and move on, the more vehemently you insisted that she wasn’t out of the game yet and redoubled your efforts. At some point over the past few days, possibly when she’d gone against her team and given Adam the death he’d long since earned, Annie Cresta had started to mean something to you.
She was every discounted tribute, every long shot who got written off and left to die. She was you, and she was the tributes you’d already failed to save and, maybe, if you could find a way to bring her home, you would be able to live with yourself for letting Adam and Serena die. Serena’s arm was infected now, badly. Experts said she had maybe three days of agony in front of her and there was nothing you could do to save her. But Annie was healthy. Some part of her mind had gotten her to eat and drink, she wasn’t physically injured, and a lifetime of having enough to eat gave her stamina.
She could win, and she would, you told yourself again and again. She had to.
You told Finnick too, and when you did some of his old sparkle would threaten to rear its head and he would almost smile. Almost. It never lasted. He slipped in and out, between resigned, grieving and unimaginably tense. Sometimes, you had the sneaking suspicion that your hand between his shoulder blades was all that was keeping him anchored to this reality. So you kept it there, and you fed him bits of biscuits and sandwiches, got him to drink water, shower and sleep, and you wondered how long he would last, and what would be left of him if Annie didn’t make it out.
Selfishly, unforgivably, a part of you wondered if he was in love with her. You would never ask, of course. It wasn’t your business, it wasn’t the right time, but you couldn’t stop the wondering. Was Annie the one who Finnick lay in bed pining for? Was she the woman he daydreamed about and had planned a future with? Did it bother you if she was? Always, it came back to the same single fact; it didn’t matter. You wanted Finnick to be happy, and you needed Annie to come home. That was that.
Some days you were so close to the edge that it was only the memory of Finnick’s voice in your head that kept you from crumbling.
Just hold on, he’d whispered, you’re so strong, you can do this, it’ll all be over soon. It was like a mantra now, more than a prayer, a promise that this too would pass. There would be time to fall apart, time to grieve, just not yet. First you had to get through, and get Annie through.
You spent your 17th birthday throwing a massive party for potential sponsors. It was the event of the season, the magazines exclaimed, absolutely anyone who was anyone was invited. Finnick and Mags weren’t there, a few noted, but that was to be expected this far into the games. Your prep team hid the signs of exhaustion under layers of makeup and pressed fake finger nails over your chewed ones. Your stylist pulled you into a tight, revealing outfit that, months ago, you would have been too self conscious to wear out, strapped you into some heels and you were ready. The music was loud, the press was there and the party lasted all night. You let the tv crews interview you, you gushed about the Capitol, choking down disgust. You danced with those victors who had come in support of you, and you flirted and teased your way to raising enough money to buy Annie some iodine for her drinking water.
Back at the control center, after you had scrubbed off the remnants of the powders and creams and sickly sweet perfumes and slipped into something more comfortable, Chaff brought you a cake shaped like a lightning bolt. James took responsibility for all the presents the other victors, and your various admirers, had lavished you with. You and Finnick ate pieces of cake together on the couch, sighing with relief as Annie successfully treated her water and took her first long drink in two days. You didn’t think about your last birthday.
After Chaff and James had led everyone in a genuinely enthusiastic bout of “Happy Birthday”, Finnick nudged you with his arm, tearing your attention away from the screens, where the pair from one were hot on the trail of the boy from nine.
“Happy birthday, Y/N/N,” he said softly, his deep green eyes sparkling with something so sweet it made your teeth ache, “I-”
“You don’t have to say anything,” you interrupted feeling, with certainty, that he was going to apologize for not being with you in the sponsor pit, “there’s more important things right now.”
Finnick smiled with a fondness that had you feeling uncomfortably found out, and he strung an arm around you loosely, turning both of your bodies so you were facing each other. It was the first time you’d seen him look fully away from the screens and monitors in days.
“I was going to say that I’m…I’m glad we met,” he explained, “and that I hope, for your next birthday, we can do something a little less morbid.”
You pressed your lips together, feeling oddly touched, and tried not to think about how, for that to happen, both of your tributes next year would have to be dead.
“Thanks, Finn,” you said instead, “I’m glad we met too.”
He took your hand and kissed your knuckles gently, sending a tingle of electricity through your entire body as he pressed a small gift into your palm.
“For later,” he explained, as you examined the parcel.
You nodded in understanding, slipped the parcel into your bag and, again acting with the perfect synchronicity of two people with identical goals, you both turned back to your monitors to watch for signs of trouble.
Two weeks into the games, after everyone had written her off, you knew Annie had won. It happened quickly, a few days of rain, some flooding and a crack. The dam seemed as though it fell in slow motion and, in mere moments, all the perfectly laid plans Cashmere and Gloss had been working on all season fell to ruin. Serena barely stirred as the wave crashed down on her, by all accounts she died in her sleep and you counted it as a mercy.
The gamemakers slowed the wave, so it didn’t flatten the competition entirely but, by nightfall, even those who could swim were starting to struggle. The beautiful arena was now entirely flooded and Annie was swimming. Not paddling around, not hanging on for dear life. Instead, for the first time since Ajack’s death, she was virtually coming to life. She gilded through the water like a sea otter, evading the other tributes with ease and finding safe areas to rest away from the dangerous currents and undertow.
“She’s going to make it,” Finnick said incredulously, “Oh my god, Y/N, she’s going to make it.”
You nodded, “Hell yeah she is.”
A few stragglers held on for a while but, after another two days, Annie Cresta was airlifted out of the drowned arena, the official victor of the 70th Hunger Games. When the final canon sounded you couldn’t contain the sound of relief and excitement that slipped past your lips, somewhere between a laugh and a sigh. It was like watching a dream play out in real life. When you looked at the screen you saw yourself, felt the momentary rush of terror followed by pure ecstasy as you realised that the impossible had happened: you had won, you were going home.
She had won. She was coming home.
If you were happy, Finnick was joy personified. He leapt to his feet and cheered, laughing with the unrestrained incredulousness of someone who had been well and truly hopeless for ages. You smiled up at him as he watched the screen hungrily seeing, for a moment, his youth written on his body like a sign. It was easy to forget sometimes that he was only eighteen. It was easy to forget that you yourself were only technically an adult with how old and world weary you already felt. You tore your eyes away from Finnick and let them fall on Mags who was weeping silently, a wrinkled hand pressed to the base of her throat as she smiled. She caught your eye and extended her free hand for you to take. You gave it a squeeze and you hoped she could feel your sincerity, how truly happy for district four you were. A year after you had personally ripped their chances away, they were bringing home a win. It felt almost fair.
“I didn’t think I would see another win,” she explained to you softly, “not in my lifetime. I didn’t think I would get to bring another one home.”
“But you did,” you said, looking back at Finnick, “you did it.”
Mags shook her head, giving your hand another squeeze, “You did it, the both of you. Finnick is a wonderful mentor, but even he couldn’t have gotten any more help to her without your sponsors. I won’t forget that.”
“You don’t have to-”
“I won’t forget that,” she repeated, “and I’ll make sure he never does either.” she finished, gesturing at Finnick with her head.
At that exact moment Finnick seemed to remember your existence and he turned back, sweeping you up into his arms and spinning you around like a carousel.
“We did it!” He laughed, “We did it, Y/N, we did it!”
“We did,” you agreed, laughing fondly as you detangled yourself.
For the briefest moment when you broke the contact Finnick seemed crestfallen, but it was over so quickly, swallowed up by his happiness, that you almost thought you must have imagined it. He pulled Mags into a similar embrace, whispering something to her too low for anyone but Mags to hear before looking back at you.
“You and me, Y/N/N, we fucking did it!”
You heard Adam’s voice in your head, saw him strain at the restraints on his wrists as he was tortured and jeered at. His sister had watched that. Sweet, kind Genna, who laughed a little too loudly and never quite knew when to stop being friendly, had watched her older brother get systematically and clinically taken apart and she would probably never be herself again now. Serena had been just kid, she hadn’t even started high school yet. She died after days of agony, with a raging fever. Her father had wept when she was reaped. They had been yours, and you’d been less than useless to them. Suddenly you were so tired, so drained. How many days had it been since you slept? The fragile pieces of you were cracking under the strain. James caught your eye, the corners of his mouth tense with suppressed grief. You don’t know what you were looking for really. Not comfort, not saving, maybe an acknowledgement? The shared recognition that something had happened, something had been lost here.
“You lot better get ready,” James said to Finnick and Mags, coming to your rescue, the way he was wont to do, “Annie is going to need you both. You don’t want her to be alone when she wakes up.”
Finnick looked like he wanted to argue, but a brief word from Mags seemed to remind him where he was. He shot you and your mentor an apologetic look, but you could still see the shimmering, bubbling excitement just under the surface, ready to burst forward at any second.
“Thank you,” he said seriously, “both of you. Just-” he breathed, letting out a burst of relieved laughter, “thank you so much.”
You felt James’ hand on your shoulder, a rough but familiar anchor to reality and you gave Finnick a genuine smile. Just a little longer, you heard him whisper in your mind, just keep it together for a little longer.
“Of course,” James said, speaking for you both, “it’s the least we could do.”
That was a lie, but you all knew it, so it couldn’t hurt anyone.
“I’m so happy for you,” you said, “truly.”
Some of Finnick’s franticness seemed to seep out of him into something softer and fonder and you watched, in real time, as he remembered where you were, what you’d lost, what you’d been through.
“Y/N-” he started, moving as though to step toward you.
Your eyes were pricking now, the suppressed panic and rage rearing its head so powerfully that you were almost frightened of yourself. James tightened his grip on your shoulder and, in one fluid motion, moved subtly between you and Finnick, angling his body in such a way as to not be obvious but still clearly making himself a barrier. Finnick recoiled, a flash of hurt crossing his perfectly sculpted face. You wanted to assure him, your instinct was to reach out and promise that you were fine, that he’d done nothing wrong, that of course you wanted to stay and be with him and Mags, but you were just so fragile. James felt like a lifeline, like your protector, swooping in and delivering you from the private hell you’d been living in and, if you were honest, there was nothing you wanted more than to fall apart in private.
Mags tracked the interaction with her eyes, tugging Finnick’s arm gently as he stared James down.
“Come, boy,” she said soothingly, “Annie will be waiting.”
Finnick gave you one last deeply apologetic look, and then nodded, letting Mags pull him away. James didn’t move. He stayed where he was, waiting until every last mentor, even drunk old Haymitch Abernathy, had slipped out of the control center before he stepped forward and crouched down in front of you.
His face was creased with concern, his dark eyes filled with the deep understanding that only someone who had personally put you back together more than once could ever have, and you absolutely shattered. In moments you had collapsed into a fit of broken sobbing, keening like a wounded animal as weeks of pent up anxiety and fear rushed out at once. To his credit, James didn’t try to calm you down, he just let you cry. He’d always been wonderful at knowing what you needed, how to get you through the pain without smothering you or talking down to you. Even before you were a victor. Even when you were just a scared fifteen year old girl who’d been handed a death sentence.
It felt like you stayed there for an eon, working through every last drop of resentment and disappointment in yourself until there was nothing left but a sort of deep, throbbing ache.
“I am happy for them,” you eventually said, voice shaky through your tears, “r-really I a-am.”
“I know,” James assured you kindly, “I know, but you can be happy for them and furious for us at the same time. I know they were when you won last year.”
You nodded, feeling the first slivers of solid ground beneath your feet again as you wiped your face and took deep, steadying breaths.
“Did you cheer and twirl people around too?” you asked, trying for a joking tone and almost succeeding.
“Oh yeah,” he answered, “you bet I did. I was fist pumping the air and shouting like a maniac, I thought Finnick was going to swing on me. I think I threw a chair.”
“What?” you laughed incredulously, “You did not.”
“I’m pretty sure I did,” James insisted, “Y/N/N I was so proud of you. I cried like a baby for days.”
You sniffed and wiped your eyes again, welcoming the change of topic, “You did?”
He nodded, giving you another fond look and giving your shoulder a squeeze, “You were amazing, you did everything right, made good on every opportunity. I did my job, I set things up but you just…” he shook his head, whistling, “you just ran with it. I’ve been doing this for twenty-three years and I’ve never seen anyone come close to the upset you pulled off.”
You felt something that could have been pride, a stubborn urge to take some pleasure in your win, before the sadness won out again and your lip began to tremble.
“Fat lot of good it did them,” you said, “fat lot of good I did them.”
James sighed, “That’s what I’m trying to say here, there’s nothing you could have done. You made it out because you played smart, you fought hard, you kept your wits about you and you clawed your way to the top, not because I did something to get you out.”
“I had sponsors.”
“Not at first,” James admitted, “not enough, not nearly enough. You convinced more people to put their money behind Adam from the start than I’d managed to rustle up for you. At the end of the day the money means jack shit, there’s only so much we can do.”
“I told them to shift their pledge to Annie,” you whispered, Serena’s shaking body flashing behind your eyes like snippets of film, “I could have poured more into Serena. I told them not to, I told them to sign with Finnick and-”
“And Annie won.” he reminded you kindly, “Those rich idiots will blame you for their massive payouts and they’ll trust you implicitly now. How many more kids will you be able to help with their money in the coming years, hmm? The handful of die hard rich people we still had available to us couldn’t have raised the funds to save Serena from that infection, Ash, you know that.”
“I could’ve done something! I could’ve-”
He shook his head, “No, you couldn’t have. Listen, whatever you think you could’ve done, I’ve tried it. I’ve tortured myself with what-ifs for longer than you’ve been alive, they never work. Trust me, you did everything right.”
You tried your hardest to listen, to really take in what James was saying like he was offering you a balm for your aching heart, but the pain just sat there in your chest, stubbornly refusing to dull.
You felt your eyes start to prick again and you longed for home, for your mother’s embrace and the safety of your room.
“Then why does it hurt so much?” You cried, collapsing into James’ chest again as you devolved into a fresh bout of sobs.
James doesn’t have an answer for that, so he just held you close and tried to be as comforting as he possibly could be. James’ feelings for you were….surprising, to him at least. When he’d turned thirty-nine he’d joked to Ivette that the only thing he wanted for his fortieth was to make one return journey to the district with a living person. Just one, he’d laughed with an edge of franticness, he wasn’t asking for the plethora of success stories the mentors from some of the other districts had, he just wanted one.
It had been a joke, mostly, but here you were. When he’d first met you on the train after the reaping, there’d been a sort of ache in the back of his teeth, like the ghosts of the countless hours spent biting down on his jaw were finally coming back to haunt him. You were so young, he remembers thinking, not yet sixteen and already doomed to die. Only…there was something about you, something in your eyes that felt like defiance. It felt like anger, like the will to live. James had looked at you on the train and had seen himself, but even that hadn’t been enough to override his deep dread. He’d lost too many to have any real hope for your survival. At most, he hoped you would die quickly, and without suffering.
He still did his job, of course. He smiled, he made contacts with possible sponsors, liaised with stylists and publicists, he gave you advice on how to play smart, and he mapped out a place along his spine to tattoo your name, alongside the nearly forty others he carried with him, when you died. Unfortunately, as the big day came closer, James had gotten sort of fond of you. You were funny and smart, and you had a sharp tongue that made him laugh incessantly, but that also spoke to how personable you could be. Your interview had been a smash hit. You had an instinctual knack for grabbing an audience’s attention and holding it. For the first time in decades, James had felt something resembling hope, but he crushed it down. He reminded himself that there was only so much he could do, that personability wasn’t enough. He’d settled down and re-resigned himself to watching you die and delivering you home in a box.
The games started and when you made it through the first day, and the second, and the third, that damn spark of hope had come back in full force. It was small, he tried to temper it but when, on the fourth day, you’d managed to literally tear your way out of a net with a combination of your hands and teeth, and had successfully rewired the trap to spring up and capture your original capturer, he’d known that you could win. James had never worked the sponsor circuit that hard. He barely slept, he did anything and everything he could to get you whatever you needed; medicine for your bloody hands, food, some wire and, eventually, a current generator. He’d poured twenty-two years of dashed hopes and dreams into you, broken every carefully cultivated rule he’d ever set for himself about not getting attached and, when Claudius Templesmith announced that you were the winner of the sixty-ninth annual Hunger Games, he had wept like a baby and cheered until his voice was hoarse. Just two months shy of his fortieth birthday, James had gotten to make his return journey with you by his side, broken, battered and scarred, but alive.
Afterwards, James couldn’t quite shake his feelings of responsibility for you. He was still your mentor and you were still his tribute, and now the game he was determined to get you through was just life, the After of it all. He had never been able to bring himself to find a nice man and settle down or to have some kids of his own, but if he had, he imagined he might feel about them the way he felt about you. So this, sitting with you in his arms while you fell to pieces…well, it hurt pretty damn bad.
“Y/N/N,” he said gently, when your body had stopped heaving and your violent sobs had softened and faded, “let’s get you home, yeah?”
You nodded, wiping your eyes with the heel of your palm, and James couldn’t help but see your youth. You were a couple of days past 17, practically a baby in his eyes, and already the kind of tired that most adults don’t get until their mid-forties. You knew too much, you’d seen too many horrors and carried too much grief to ever be carefree, the way a 17 year-old should be and, for the millionth time, James felt the rush of pure, black rage bubble up in his stomach. He would tear the Capitol down for this, he promised himself. Not today. Not now, when Snow could take revenge for anything James did out on you and Ivette, but someday. Someday he would find a spark and he’d do what he did best, what had gotten him in that victor’s chair in the first place; he’d stoke it into a blaze, an inferno that would burn out the infection of the Hunger Games for good.
You let your mentor pull you up and walk you back to your apartments, now empty of tributes, and you clung to him like a child, wondering why you could so easily let yourself be held by him, but not by your own parents. Some small part of you wondered if this is how it started, if all those lonely victors you’d met, who had no one but each other, had once had family and friends who they couldn’t bear to be around anymore because they reminded them too much of a version of themselves that was long dead. It felt different, you noticed, as you and James sat down for dinner at an empty table. Not bad, just different, knowing that, on every floor but one, someone like you, with more scars than they deserved, was sitting down to dinner in an equally vacant apartment. Everyone had failed except Mags and Finnick. It should have felt depressing and morbid, and it was, but it was also a kind of solidarity. You weren’t suffering alone. The Capitol had done this to all of you, together and, in a way, that meant none of you were alone. Maybe this was your new home, maybe this was what you got now.
You waited until you were alone in your room to open Finnick’s present. It was small, about the size of a plum, wrapped in soft blue paper and twine. It looked too rustic for the Capitol, you noted with a sudden rush of warmth, as though he’d brought it from home just for you. Slowly, being careful not to tear the wrapping paper, you peeled it open, revealing a beautiful spiral shell, cleaned and polished, and woven bracelet. It was a combination of brown leather, blue chord and flat pearls braided together carefully, with practice and skill. Finnick and Mags both wore similar bracelets, you’d seen them weaving them aimlessly whenever they got stressed, but this was different. This one had been made for you. It wasn’t flashy, or polished, but it fit your wrist perfectly and you knew that, if it was your choice, you’d wear it forever. Slowly, you pushed yourself up and made your way over to the phone, dialing the extension for the floor below you.
“Y/N,” Finnick said, without hesitation, on the third ring, “I’m so sorry, I can’t believe I was so tactless, I-”
“What would you have done if I was James?” You interrupted, smiling despite yourself, “I could have been James, you know?”
Finnick paused and then laughed, his voice tinged with barely suppressed exhaustion, “But you’re not James, are you? You’re my-” he corrected himself, “you’re Y/N/N. Mags made me promise to give you some space, but I knew you’d call.”
You hummed in agreement, worrying at the inside of your cheek as the silence stretched, warm and comfortable, “How is she?” you eventually asked.
“Annie?” Finnick asked, “she’s…she’s alive. That’s all that matters.” he continued with a deep sigh, “Her mind is fragile right now, I’m not sure she understands what’s happened exactly, but…yeah.”
“It’s early days, Finn,” you replied instinctively, “you remember what it was like at the start. I’m sure you were a little fragile too. She’s been out of the arena for less than 5 hours, give her time.”
“I knew where I was,Y/N,” he countered ruefully, “I knew it was over, I knew I’d won.”
You sighed, “Give her time,” you repeated, “she’ll come back to you when she’s ready.”
“The doctors say she had a psychotic break,” Finnick said, his voice small and vulnerable, “they say she might not ever…that she might always be…”
“She’s alive,” you interrupted, reminding him of his earlier words, “you’ve got the rest of your lives to figure out how to move forward from this, and yeah maybe she’ll always be a little fragile. That’s alright, we’ll take care of her when she needs us to.”
“We will?” Finnick asked hopefully.
“Of course we will,” you insisted, “you, me, Mags, Chaff, James, even Haymitch. We’re all here for you, and for her.”
“I’m sure Haymitch has some thoughts about that,” Finnick replied, jokingly.
You smiled, “Yeah well, he’ll have to take it up with me if he does.”
“Terrifying,” Finnick said, and you could hear the smile in his voice. Again, you sat in silence, just enjoying the sound of one another’s breathing, before Finnick continued, “ Did you open your present?”
You looked down at the bracelet, “Of course I did. Thank you, by the way, it’s beautiful.”
“Pretty bracelet for a pretty girl, what can I say? Just made sense,” Finnick joked, slipping into his old seductive persona, which pulled a breathless laugh from your chest. You could imagine the catlike grin on his face as he lounged against the wall, all faux grace and elegance, the picture of destructive beauty. “But really, you like it?” he asked in his regular voice.
“I love it,” you promised.
There was a pause on the line, and then Finnick let out a shaky breath. You could feel the exhaustion in your own body catching up to you again, the weeks of staying awake using expensive Capitol medication finally coming for their due.
“I-uh-I need some sleep,” you explained, “I’ll see you soon, Finn.”
“See you soon, kid,” he replied, “and thank you again for-”
“Stop thanking me,” you insisted, fondly, “and don’t call me kid.”
You hung up before you had a chance to change your mind and, as you lay down in your bed and drifted off to sleep, the ghosts of the veldt crept in, joined by two new faces; a tall, lanky boy with a sister who laughed too loud, and a young girl, clutching an infected shoulder, writhing with fever.
—
Finnick stared at the phone for a long time after you hung up, trying to parse his emotions in a way that made sense. His heart was a complete wreck, torn between grief and joy and hope and, fuck it, why hide it, love. Annie was alive, but broken. You were safe, but exhausted. He had his family, but he had secrets, and he’d never be able to stop towing the line without risking losing it all again.
“I love you, Y/N,” he whispered into the empty air, covering his mouth with his hand.
Beetee had assured him that he’d blocked the audio bugs in the apartments, but old habits die hard, and Finnick wasn’t taking any chances. Not with this. Not with you. He ached for the feeling of your hand between his shoulder blades, the comforting weight that had kept him grounded for weeks and that he’d grown to rely on without even noticing it. You had a strange way of worming your way into him like that, like a drug. One hit and he was hooked for months, chasing more time, chasing more closeness.
“Finnick, dinner’s ready!” Mags called from the dining room, “The doctor sent us updated reports on Annie.”
“Coming!” He responded, casting one last look at the telephone as he left, adjusting the band of woven leather, chord and pearls on his wrist.

Beyond blueprints: Architectural visualization for modern project
Architectural visualization is a unique and highly effective arts and technology discipline aimed at making intangible architectural ideas and 3d models into reality through striking and cutting-edge images.This tool creates virtual worlds in which designs materialize and thus helps clients, investors, and other parties to really see and understand the design intention. Various architectural visualization methods such as 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering and so forth enable and elevate communication, enable greater client participation and decision making during the development phase of the design.
Now consider that this tantalizing house you have always dreamed of exists in a virtual world of VR creations, elaborate not just on paper but as an actual space that can be walked into. It has all the usual aspects of this immersive experience including impressive patterns on wallpaper, windows pouring warmth of the sun and other features that have been creatively enhanced. Clients, investors and stakeholders using architectural visualization tools are able to see and understand the design vision and make effective decisions regarding their projects.
Uses of Architectural Visualization
Architectural visualization has a wide range of applications across various industries and projects as a 3d model viewer. Here are some of the key uses of this powerful tool:
Real Estate and Development:

The Benefits of Architectural Visualization
Architectural visualization serves as a powerful tool for enhancing communication and collaboration within design teams. By providing a visual representation of architectural concepts, it eliminates misunderstandings between architects, designers, and clients, ensuring everyone is on the same page. Additionally, 3D models facilitate effective teamwork, allowing team members to work together seamlessly and make informed decisions based on a shared understanding of the design.
Improved Client Engagement: It plays a crucial role in improving client engagement by creating excitement and building trust. By providing a tangible representation of the design, it allows clients to envision their future living or working space, evoking emotions and making it easier to invest in the project. Additionally, showcasing the design's potential through visualizations demonstrates the architect's expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional results, fostering trust between clients and professionals.
Early Problem Identification: Architectural visualization is a valuable tool for identifying potential design flaws or conflicts before high-quality 3d model construction begins. By visualizing the design in 3D, architects can catch issues such as inadequate lighting, traffic flow problems, or structural concerns. This early identification allows for timely adjustments and corrections, saving both time and money by preventing costly mistakes later in the project.
Marketing and Sales Powerhouse: Architectural visualization is a powerful marketing tool that can significantly impact the success of a project. By creating high-quality renderings that showcase the unique selling points of a design, architects can captivate potential clients and encourage them to invest in the project. These visually appealing representations can create a strong emotional connection with clients, making them more likely to envision themselves living or working in the space. This can lead to increased interest, faster sales, and ultimately, a more successful project.
Techniques Used in Architectural Visualization
3D modeling is the cornerstone of architectural visualization. It involves creating digital representations of buildings, objects, and landscapes using specialized software such as Autodesk 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Blender. Architects meticulously craft these models, ensuring accuracy and detail, to establish a solid foundation for subsequent stages of the visualization process. This foundational step is crucial for accurately conveying the design vision and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.
Texturing and Materials are essential elements in creating realistic architectural visualizations. By applying surfaces and materials to 3D models, architects can add depth, texture, and authenticity to their designs. This involves adding textures like brick, wood, or stone, as well as specifying material properties such as reflectivity and roughness. This process brings the models to life, making them appear more immersive and convincing to viewers.
Lighting is a critical component in architectural visualization, as it significantly impacts the atmosphere and mood of a design. Architects carefully consider both natural and artificial lighting sources to achieve the desired effect. By strategically placing lights and adjusting their intensity, they can create a wide range of moods, from warm and inviting to dramatic and mysterious. Effective lighting not only enhances the visual appeal of a design but also contributes to the overall user experience and functionality of the space.
Rendering is the final stage of the architectural visualization process, where the 3D model is brought to life. It involves applying lighting, textures, and other effects to create a photorealistic or stylized output. Popular rendering engines such as V-Ray, Corona Renderer, and Octane Render are used to generate high-quality images and animations that accurately represent the design vision. This stage is crucial for showcasing the design's potential to clients and stakeholders, and it requires careful attention to detail to ensure a visually compelling and accurate representation.
The Impact of Architectural Visualization on the Design Process
Iterative Design: Architectural visualization empowers architects to refine their designs through an iterative process. By creating multiple 3D models, architects can experiment with different design iterations and make adjustments based on feedback. This allows them to explore various possibilities and ultimately arrive at a more optimized and refined design. It involves starting with an initial design concept, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and making adjustments to the design through multiple iterations. This process allows architects to refine the design, address any issues or concerns, and explore alternative options. Ultimately, the iterative design process leads to a more optimized and functional final design that meets the needs of the client and end-users.
Enhanced Decision Making: Architectural visualization is a powerful tool that empowers architects to make informed decisions throughout the design process. By visualizing design options in 3D modeling, architects,3d furniture can gain a deeper understanding of the impact of different materials, layouts, and aesthetic choices. This allows them to assess the overall design's functionality, aesthetics, and potential challenges before making final decisions.
Client Satisfaction:Architectural visualization is a powerful tool for enhancing client satisfaction. By providing a tangible representation of the design vision, it allows clients to truly understand and appreciate the architect's work. This fosters a strong connection between clients and professionals, leading to increased satisfaction and positive word-of-mouth referrals. When clients can visualize their dream space before it's built, they are more likely to feel confident in the design process and the final outcome.
The Future of Architectural Visualization
As technology continues to advance, the possibilities for architectural visualization are expanding rapidly. Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are emerging as powerful tools, offering immersive experiences that allow clients to walk through virtual spaces and interact with designs in real-time. This level of engagement enhances client understanding and appreciation for the design vision.
Additionally, advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are automating tasks such as generating realistic textures and lighting. This not only streamlines the visualization process but also improves the quality of the final output. AI-powered tools can analyze vast datasets to identify trends and patterns, helping architects make more informed design decisions.In conclusion, architectural visualization is a transformative tool that is revolutionizing the design process. By bringing designs to life through immersive 3D experiences, it enhances communication, improves client engagement, and facilitates better decision-making. As technology continues to advance, we can expect even more groundbreaking advancements in this exciting field, further shaping the future of design and architecture.

Stood in the shower, the hot water cascading down her body, Okoye gave a sigh of relief. The bustle of the day melted away, flowing down the drain as she washed off the grime she’d accumulated during her travels. The wash up she’d done that morning, after her sunrise run and calisthenics, hadn’t been this soothing: a quick scrub and rinse to rid her body of sweat before she kissed Attuma good-bye, hurrying to meet Nakia for breakfast.
The rest of her day had seen her navigating the marketplace (her kitchen’s bare cabinets the catalyst for her trip), where the mouthwatering aromas of all the available food clung to her skin and clothing. After she’d finished shopping, she’d paid M20 his daily visit on her way back. The rhino’s licks of affection had left her cheeks feeling sticky, the brillo pad of his tongue abrasive on her skin. Plus, the odor of animal excretions was added to the kaleidoscope of scents she’d obtained from the market. Dropping her purchases off at home, she’d then gone to meet Aneka for one of their tri-weekly training sessions. This had led, again, to her being drenched in sweat, and though she felt satisfied, her muscles pleasantly fatigued, she was ready to clean herself and spend what remained of her day in tranquil relaxation.
Her wishes beginning to come to fruition, Okoye tipped her head forward under the spray of water. Another sigh left her lips and they curved into a smile, her eyes closing for a brief moment as she inhaled the steamy air. She reached for her favorite lavender body wash, and was busying herself with lathering up her washcloth when she heard a shifting from beyond the shower stall’s entrance. Before she could react, the door was pulled open, and the massive frame of her boyfriend blocked the bathroom’s light.
His eyes roamed over her naked body, heating it in a different, much more carnal, way than the shower currently was.
“I didn’t think you would be home until late,” she said, continuing with what she’d been preparing to do. Under his leer, she ran the soapy cloth over her arms and chest. She spent more time than necessary stroking her breasts, lifting and fondling them with the suds for his benefit. She smirked at his deep inhalation then moved to lave the rest of her body.
He ignored her statement, his eyes steady on her, groaning when she bent forward to wash her legs and feet.
“May I join you,” he asked, finally speaking.
She paused in her bathing, the water flowing to rinse her skin, and looked him over. She’d expected to see lust in his eyes, but the underlying mischievousness in his expression was slightly unsettling—especially when he flashed his teeth at her, his tongue running over their sharp edges.
“Only if you behave.”
“Of course, my love.” He made quick work of removing his clothes, unconscious to where he threw them.
She was readying to lecture him about putting them in the hamper, but he stepped into the stall and crowded her against its wall before she could speak. He kissed her right shoulder, tenderly moving his lips along her skin. She leaned into his chest, letting her head be supported by his body. Lulled into a sense of calm, her eyes snapped wide open at the sting of his teeth sinking into her flesh.
“Ow,” she exclaimed, swatting at his head. She twisted in his hold and leveled a glare in his direction. “I told you to behave. I’m not done and I don’t need you distracting me.”
“I am behaving,” he claimed, moving to take a bite at her opposite arm. He was, for the second time, met by the slap of her hand, this one on his chest.
“This is not behaving, Attuma.” She tried to sound stern, but the hold his teeth had taken on her left cheek impeded her efforts. “Attuma!” She whined, closing her eye, lest it be poked out by his nose.
After a short time, his jaw relaxed, unhanding her face.
“I am behaving, my love. Had I not been, I would have immediately removed you from this chamber to receive me, on your hands and knees, in the comfort of our bed. I am behaving by allowing you to complete your cleaning ritual.”
Conceding his point, Okoye pouted softly. On one hand, she mourned the loss of her quiet evening, while, on the other, she was excited about where this bit of foreplay would lead. Rest was, without a doubt, no longer in her near future. Attuma was sure to filled their evening and night with passionate lovemaking.
Yes, she was now loved—far more tenderly and thoroughly than she’d ever been before—but at what cost? The question echoed in her head as Attuma gathered her closer to lay another bite on her, this time aiming for her breast.

Okay so, we know the show is over, and that shortening is not the sole reason for the show's decrease in quality but with that begs the question.
We know that dana was offer to produce the owl house in other channels under the condition of the episodes would be 2 segments of 11 minutes each per episode.
Could have this formant change benefit the owl house, helping it to streamline storylines from the start and dedicate shorter episodes to more simple concepts?
So this feels like a misconception with storytelling. See, I've talked about characters getting full episodes to themselves, specifically Hunter's Arc versus what time we may have gotten with The Collector in a full S3. Technically, one could say there is no difference. Every episode is a full episode so claiming Hunter gets any half episodes is wrong.
But that's where A and B plotting in stories comes into play. So as to fill time in an episode, or cover an idea more expansively, a show will often implement a B plot that usually has less importance than what is going on in the main plot. King gets a LOT of these in S1. In fact, like 80% minimum of King's plotlines in the show are in B plots. A lot of them also serve zero point to ANYTHING.
And technically B plots do not have to be this way. They can actually be covering something just as important as the other things going on. Knock Knock Knocking is actually a good example of this because all three plots, so even a C plot, are theoretically of true importance. They're all moving characters forward, they all have developments that matter to the story as a whole, etc. like that. Lumity is weirdly the least important in that episode because Amity is never actually important to the plot in a meaningful way which sucks.
But the larger point in general is that this is a critical part of TOH. Very few episodes stay focused on a single pair of characters during its entire run time. After all, how different really is splitting two plotlines between two halves and constantly, as an example, cutting back to King who is having his stuffed animal boot camp while Luz and Eda are off training at the Knee? There is none except that you can have an ebb and flow of tension by those cutaways that I would argue commonly just hurts the show more than anything else. It's hard to keep tension when all of your B plots are constant comedy.
But this may have been also why Dana wanted this. She could allow characters like Amity and Luz be more serious in their interactions while claiming it was a comedy because the B plot is the main source of comedy in the episode. That's why TOH has comedic relief characters when in most kid's shows, you can't just point to one character in each group of characters as the comic relief. They normally all pull that duty or none. TOH makes it very pointed that certain characters are the butts of jokes and they commonly get B plots.
This actually leads to the hilarious fact that Willow has one conversation with King in the whole series... While Gus has two plot lines with him. One in Understanding Willow with the B plot of the interviews and once during Grom with King and him being Masters of Ceremony. Even HOOTY gets more plot lines that are genuinely about him and King than say... Amity, who never properly interacts/has a plot line with either Eda or King despite how many plot lines she has the show. And no, Eclipse Lake doesn't count because she's practically talking past the other two the entire time. It shows how they interact but has no weight or meaning behind it. It's easily forgettable and disposable.
Now this actually touches on the one strength TOH could have gotten from the other format. See, the problem with the full episode format with B plots is that commonly the multiple plots don't interact so each episode can only have one plot line per character. If Amity has fourteen plot lines with Luz, Luz literally loses a third of the plot lines she can have in the WHOLE SERIES to Amity. Amity, Gus and Willow altogether take up roughly half of the entire storytelling potential Luz has like this. That's why during a lot of S1, Eda is either doing things alone, with King or with Lilith. King has even less characters to interact with so he gets plots alone, with Eda or with Hooty. This problem directly is part of why the Found Family Theme doesn't function for The Owl House. Luz literally has no time to spend with King and Eda because she's constantly with other characters. After all, she has one off characters like Viney or Vee to spend time with. She has Hunter to deal with for two episodes. She has two episodes dedicated to facing Belos alone or with friends. She has three episodes in S2 where she either effectively isn't there, like Eclipse Lake and Thems the Breaks, or literally never shows up like Labyrinth Hunters.
This is really the only strength TOH I think would have gained from twin 11 minute formats. Luz can have plot lines with her friends and her romantic interest and now they only take up a quarter of her time rather than close to half.
There's one problem: This also requires the idea that the 11 minute episodes would be good. There's no guaranty they get spent on plot after all. In S1, they would more likely be spent on shenanigans like the B plots or villains like Tibbles. Most people point to the one villains and the more traditional kids show episodes like Once Upon a Swap as when TOH is at its weakest... And I don't disagree. TOH has very few narrative tricks up its sleeve to make these characters interesting, the best one being when they make crunch culture literal, and none of them are ones you can take seriously. Frankly, The Owl House is so against its genre that having to come up with more plots for its world, its magic, etc. like that...
Now, one last note: The B plots likely couldn't have been just made half episodes either. Not if the show wanted to be taken seriously at all. How much more annoying would King's B plots in most episodes feel if you couldn't cut away from it? Him constantly trying to make an army and obviously going to fail because of it. It's too repetitive, the point is made within five seconds and then drawn out and it would be repeated too many times to be VERY noticeable.
King would have had to be MUCH more a real character than his one note self in order for the 11 minute format to work... Or it'd become even more noticeable that he's just mostly absent or inconsequential to most of the series. You weirdly enough need MORE distinct characters for 11 minute episodes than you do in a longer format. The more stories you have to tell with them after all, the more they have to be capable of multiple types of stories. This is part of why the Plantars are all so distinct from one another because they all have different tales they can then tell and have a full range of tales to tell, whether they be fully comedic or emotional. Even Polly has that with her tomboy nature, her age, her immaturity, etc.
And that is the real killer for if the writers of TOH could even do it. As someone who watched some Rise of the TMNT just yesterday, that show is WILD. But do you want to know what it doesn't do? It doesn't waste time. It doesn't waste a damn thing. You are bombarded with EVERYTHING a concept can be at all times at 11 and even that still allows morals and character to somehow shine at times, or let the creativity of the writers shine and how they're making this different from other TMNT interpretations.
And TOH is not good about not wasting time. It loves its languid pacing. It loves its setups even though could be cut. Gus and Willow contribute NOTHING to Covention after all so why not have Eda, King and Luz just show up at the Covention hall with a couple lines of "Now, I know you're grumpy but thank you so much for taking me to this."
"I only did it because otherwise, you were going to read that fluffy witch dreck at me the entire day. Let's just get this over with and quickly if we can."
We could have had that ten second exchange instead of the full two minutes that is spent on the intro before the title having Gus and Willow show up, having the banter, having the admittedly good, fun joke of Eda trying to leave through the portal but with King on her head and THEN going to the Covention. Not to say these other shows don't waste any time but they'd never waste two minutes setting up to the good stuff with characters who are going to vanish in almost just as many minutes, even if that makes little sense. Seriously, why doesn't Willow comment at all about the Witch's Duel?
So I don't think it would have fixed the problems of TOH. I think, quite honestly, it would have just doubled down on the issues and made them more glaring to more people because constraints have never helped this show.
Just look at their unwillingness to make obvious, required changes in the face of the shortening. =======

For reference, this is a Nexu:
Excerpt:
Once the yearling had finished its meal, it trotted back to Setra, chasing off the cub. To Setra’s complete surprise and amazement, it thoroughly sniffed her and her satchel before plopping down next to her legs. Slowly, agonizingly, she reached out a hand and touched its back. The Nexu meowed at her, scrambling up to sniff her hand. Tentatively, Setra reached out toward the yearling through the Force. It seemed to sense her, licking her hand and demanding a head scratch before settling back down next to her, resting its head on her knee.
Setra’s heart melted.
I’m going to do something stupid, aren’t I?
Qyzen had said that Setra would benefit from a hunting animal because of how petite (and new to hunting) she was (while her connection to the Force gave her a huge advantage when hunting, it didn’t solve everything). And she had been told that the Nexu packs on Tython were invasive and had once been domesticated – she wasn’t taking a random wild animal away from its native habitat.
Despite that, the Jedi Code was very clear on attachments – including to animals and objects. While she agreed with Qyzen’s assessment regarding her hunting skills, she would be very close to breaking her Codes if she brought the Nexu yearling back to the Temple; while it wasn’t unheard of for Jedi to take on animal companions, there was a whole process to it – she had to file an application for an animal companion, fill out a veritable mountain of paperwork, a pre-approved list of animals she could pick from, specific breeders and trainers that the Jedi Order worked with…
Setra closed her eyes and sighed deeply. While her heart wanted to throw caution to the wind and sneak the Nexu into the Temple, it would not be the responsible thing to do. She would get into all sorts of trouble if caught, as would Master Yuon, by extension. They might even put a stop to her training with Qyzen. Dismissing the idea from her mind and smoothing her emotions, Setra settled back in.
Setra sat in her observation spot for several hours until she started to doze off. The Nexu yearling had stayed at her side for a good while, trying to chew on her toes and chasing things that she threw before finally getting bored and wandering off. Setra stretched and stood up, dusting herself off. She then collected her belongings and started the walk back to the Temple.
Setra made it about fifty feet before she heard something behind her – soft footfalls and the crunching of leaves. However, when she turned around, she saw nothing.
Setra dismissed it as a figment of her imagination in her tired state and kept walking.
The same thing happened three more times by the time she got back to the Temple. She’d hear someone (or something) walking and plants rustling behind her but wouldn’t actually see anything. She tried to reach out through the Force, but all she felt was the flora and fauna that she had grown used to. The sounds stopped once she reached the steps leading up to the Temple.
She made it back to her quarters with no further incident and quickly changed into her pajamas (a oversized shirt with the logo of her favorite Huttball team, the FrogDogs, on it and purple plaid pajama pants) and put away her belongings. She opened the window before climbing into bed; while she welcomed the warmth of her room, she would welcome the air flow more. She was asleep within seconds of her head hitting her pillow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As had become her custom over the years, Setra was awake just before dawn. She had just started to wake up and stretch when she realized that there was another presence in her room. She wasn’t alone.
Setra shot up into a sitting position and looked around in a panic before her eyes settled on the opposite end of her bed. There, curled up in a ball and completely asleep, was the Nexu yearling. Setra realized that it must have been the Nexu that she had heard following her the night before; it must have jumped in through her window.
Shit.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, SSE is obviously not immune to criticism. They are not a perfect company and they should not be unthinkingly supported in every choice they make. In fact, they definitely SHOULD be criticized.
However, that being said, I do think they get a lot of unfair criticism. Under every single instagram post they make, without fail, the top comments are whining and complaining. Honest to god I can’t remember the last time I saw a post where people were grateful or happy. And it would be one thing if these people were complaining about genuine issues, but they almost never are.
It’s always something like, “ugh, 950 starcoins?” “you used another paso fino for a magic horse?” “this horse is ugly” “the animations RUINED this horse” “overpriced” “seriously, that’s all we get in this update? I’m quitting” like you motherfuckers better be glad I’m behind a screen because I would start biting you
It’s a massive game, with massive servers, and a massive player base. It. updates. WEEKLY. Do you people have any idea how much work that is? I was trained to work in the AAA game industry for two years, so I can confidently tell you: that’s INSANE.
There’s another post out there that I can’t quite find but it breaks down the income that SSO gets from lifetime star riders. It’s basically nothing in the long run. People want to complain about the new horses being ‘overpriced’ and then they want to complain about how some unfinished animations they saw on a spoiler channel look bad. Like guys. Please think for a second. Maybe those horses cost as much as they do so that star stable can keep money flowing in order to put more work into the next horses.
Also, a lot of people want to complain that SSE doesn’t listen, which is just… not even true? Maybe they don’t listen as much as you’d LIKE, but they do listen and make changes when necessary. If they changed every little thing that people complained about, we’d never get anywhere, because holy shit.
Horse game fans are the most insanely critical and nitpicky people I have ever seen. Like god damn. Can we take a moment and be thankful they include ANY content in weekly updates? If this were any other game, a weekly update would be 90% bug fixing and 10% content. Which is not to say SSO does a proper amount of bug fixing. They would definitely benefit from a couple weeks just dedicated to bug fixing, but can you imagine how mad people would get lmao
#okay I’m ending it here because I’ve been writing this for like an hour and at the end of the day: it’s not that serious#it’s just been driving me fucking crazy#forgive me if this post doesn’t mention other important topics there is only so much I can say off the top of my head#and at the end of the day this isn’t meant to be a super informative post or anything it’s just me groaning#sso#star stable online#star stable
Psychosophy Attitudes — Physics
1F / First Physics
The physical appearance of 1F is usually very noticeable: a handsome face, an athletic body, and they stand tall. They are powerful, strong people. Some 1F can be indistinguishable from 2F, 3F or even 4F. For the most part, these are people with juicy face sculpting.
1F are especially attractive in adolescence: the girls' figure approaches the ideal: a thin waist, wide hips, large breasts, for young men an athletic build is characteristic: a narrow pelvis, broad shoulders, muscles in all necessary places. With age, the figure changes: the waist disappears, the muscles begin to swell. This is not always the case and not with everyone: many 1F remain fit and impressively beautiful until old age, but the general trend is just that.
1F often have full lips with a "bow", as if created for kisses. They make artists and sculptors want to capture their beauty in their works. Most subjects of art are 1F.
1F possess a physical energy that fills space. A man walks - and everyone admires him and he admires himself. They are usually smooth, dignified, characterised by the grace of a person confidently standing on his feet. They move picturesquely, as if flowing from one beautiful pose to another.
1F have no desire to make unnecessary movements. They can sit for a long time without changing posture. If it is possible to stand or walk, they would prefer to stand. For this reason they prefer static sports ones - bodybuilding best reflects their natural drive to showcase trained flesh.
1F by nature have a slow reaction, so dynamic sports where it is necessary to predict the partner's/opponent's actions don't come easy to them. If they engage in martial arts, then they are drawn to it because of the result, not by the process of struggle.
1F don't strive to have many children, one or two are enough for them.
In a conflict, the first instinct of 1F is to attack their opponent. In childhood, they realised this desire quite openly, with age they taught themselves to restrain this instinct, but inside they continue to live with it (expressed through the clenching of fists, hitting a wall, breaking things). Therefore, we can say that 1F have usually a higher tendency to resort to violence compared to others.
For this reason if 1F come to power then probably they make frightening leaders, as it's easiest for them to resolve a conflict by forceful methods than others.
1F dream of living somewhat better than the rest of their social group, and they put a lot of effort into this. But upon reaching the limit assigned to them, they usually calm down and don't strive for more.
The worldview of 1F is material thoroughly. Material enrichment is the main engine of their activity. Wherever they find a place for themselves - at the helm of power, or in the family - they will first of all try to satisfy material interests: first their own, and then, possibly, others'.
1F treat their money with some level of greed, but in any case they will try to never miss their own benefit. They treat material things with respect and somewhere even with reverence: they love their home, workplace, company, family, their things. All these concepts have a special meaning for them, which is not always comprehended by others. They're attached to these concepts, values them and perceives them in a very tangible and almost animate way. They usually have a lot of beautiful and expensive things.
If 1F discuss, it's usually about money, comfort, appearance or food. Material interests prevail. They organise their world as it suits them - their own sense of comfort is of the highest value, so they're very unhappy when their comfort is disturbed. Comfort doesn't necessarily mean warmth and cosiness: for some it's a house that sparkles with cleanliness, and others it's an old couch and a robe.
Those who enter the space of 1F fall from their bounty. They don't really care about whether others like their gifts, if they give you should be kind and accept. 1F are ready to share their comfort with others, but in a way that is convenient to them. Their inner concept: "I did this thing, so it should be accepted by everyone unconditionally"
For their sake, they earn a lot and spend a lot. By their nature they tend to succumb to instincts - they don't fight them and don't see why it would be necessary. They know how to rest best of all and won't let anyone interrupt it. They love things that make life enjoyable, such as massages, beaches, beauticians, and sincerely don't understand why they should live without pleasure.
1F like to eat what is tasty, even if it's unhealthy. It's difficult for them to deny themselves pleasures, the main one being food - which they like spicy, heavy, flavourful.
1F are absolutely alien to asceticism, which is inherent in most religions, and more often than others it becomes an atheist.
If 1F go on a diet, then it will be the most comfortable one. They categorically reject strict hunger strikes, or restriction of sweets and alcohol. With great anguish they endures periods of forced rejection of their favourite products, perceiving it almost as a tragedy.
1F usually care very much about their appearance and invest a lot of money and effort into it. It is especially important for them to impress in public. They're usually dressed very well - bold clothes, sophisticated, stylish. At home they can look sloppy: they're sure that they look good enough and too lazy to run a comb through their hair an additional time. To them it's not so much about how they look, but how confident they feel about it.
1F can do a minimum of things, as long as they are sound and meet their requirements for comfort.
1F are "sensory hippos": they're often tone deaf and have a poor sense of rhythm. Even if by nature they're gifted with musical and dancing abilities, they prefer louder sounds and simple movements.
They poorly distinguish between halftones and shades. Therefore, they tend to overdo it with bright makeup, large expensive jewellery, tart perfume, open, tight-fitting outfits that would reveal and emphasise the body.
Due to their thick skin, 1F are not squeamish. They likes provoking, pornographic pictures, and they usually don't hide them, just as they don't hide their interest in a beautiful naked body, in showcasing sensuality, in the desire for sex.
The sensations 1F want to experience in sex are rather rough, the movements are monotonous. But in such sex there is a lot of naked sensuality, absolute adherence to instincts, frank enjoyment of corporeality. This pleasure is somewhat hampered by the fact that 1F have few erogenous zones, and in order to get pleasure, one has to act rather crudely and primitively on them. Many 1F women don't know what an orgasm is.
In sex, 1F strive for quick pleasure, are indifferent to foreplay, pay little attention to what the partner feels. They either enjoy and gives themselves up to completely, or give pleasure, and can do it tirelessly, but there is no exchange as such, there is no dialogue, no co-process.
1F are prone to betrayal, which in the depths of their soul they don't consider as bad. Since during sex they remain out of contact with their partner, betrayal doesn't mean hurting something that was built together, but "there was one partner, now there's another."
1F don't feel physiological jealousy. They're not so much hurt by knowing that the partner is not faithful to her, but it is important that the “lover” is less significant than them. To some 1F men it's not shameful to use the services of prostitutes.
1F are the most unfortunate victims of the fast flowing time. Time itself destroys the support on which this psychotype rest, and this leads to a change in a their worldview towards greater gloom and irritability.
In general, the world of 1F is a thoroughly material world, where money, expensive things, physical comfort, and pleasure are of greatest value. Here they are ready to share out of excess, but taking care first of all about their own benefit. Here, betrayal is not considered as such, here, in the conflict, fists immediately come into play, but here they stand firmly on their feet.
2F / Second Physics
2F provoke liberation and discovery of their true tastes. This can manifest it both in the kitchen and in bed. 2F behaviour is one big offer of yourself as a lover, nanny, masseur and sports coach in one bottle.
2F usually have a somewhat shortened figure and a round face - it's stocky, compact, stable, like a sports car, which is adapted for fast movement. Generally short to medium height, there is no particular beauty or ugliness. It's a very balanced appearance.
Until the age of thirty, the body of 2F is distinguished by thinness and slenderness, and then the waist disappears, the silhouette diffuses - and the whole figure becomes short and round. Such people are never particularly overweight. Women with 2F usually have narrow thighs, bulky buttocks, and a full chest.
2F are very lively and agile. The movements are moderately fast, strong, precise, as well as aesthetic and graceful. Their mobility is also manifested through the fact that they are very active. Rest for them is a change of activity. They need to be limited or else they will do something all the time.
2F are true workaholics: labour for them is sacred in and of itself, regardless of field of activity. Wherever fate throws them, they'll work tirelessly and with dedication. They're those that forget to go on vacation, sit late at work, consider it a crime to take sick leave and are ready to go back to work even after physical stress. Put them in prison and they'll work hard there too. There are obvious pros and cons to this - by giving 100% of themselves to work, 2F can neglect health.
2F will be happy to do any work, both monotonous and creative. With the same pleasure they teach to beginners, show by their own example and motivate those who are tired. 2F fitness instructors like to do the exercises with a group, and their exercises are usually mobile and energetic.
2F need interaction with other people. They enjoy physical intimacy as well as the “unpleasant” physical work such as caring for the sick. During a conversation 2F like to touch the interlocutor's arm or shoulder, as if to establish a physical contact with them.
The physical world is a natural element to 2F, they play with objects, plants, animals, people. Interacting with them, it seems to create a process like a game.
2F are fearless in everything that concerns physical interaction, they trust their body and its flexibility, feel it is wide and richly gifted - and it usually doesn't let them down, acting accurately, reliably and efficiently.
2F bodies are perfectly adapted to fight. They're not afraid of being hit or wounded, they're not afraid to get involved in a battle even with those who are stronger, in the struggle for them there is a special excitement, the spirit of competition.
2F, like 1F, naturally respond with violence to the violation of their boundaries, but without cruelty, revenge. They make bad thieves and criminals, they're set up too constructively to take away from another that which they would gladly give to the opponent. If the Second Physics take a criminal path, still the feeling of inner conflict doesn't leave them.
2F are economical without stinginess, they love to make money, know how to save it but also spend it gladly to provide physical comfort for themselves and their family - in their house there is exactly as much as is required.
2F don't like to throw away old things: anything finds a worthy use with them. They are able to make something new, unusual and beautiful even from old things.
Wherever 2F are engaged, they strive to preserve the natural properties of things such as colour, smell, texture. 2F women often don't wear makeup, 2F chefs strive to subject food to minimal processing, 2F sculptors try to emphasise the natural properties of the material.
2F are very adequate to nudity, in which they value its naturalness. Everything related to physiology evokes an adequate response in them, with full acceptance of all physiological processes, without dividing into "good" or "shameful".
2F are squeamish despite the complete acceptance of physiology, there is a line beyond which disgust begins, and they try not to cross it. Therefore, they're very clean both with their space and their body.
2F tend to want multiple children, who are always well-groomed, fed, rested, study hard.
From adolescence to old age, 2F have a very adequate attitude to sex and give themselved up to it with pleasure and usually without excess. They are great lovers: attentive to the partner, tireless, resourceful and self-confident. For them, the whole love process is important, every stage, every movement. In addition, they have many erogenous zones.
For 2F the best side of their nature is physical care for others and an absolutely adequate attitude to the material world. They are beautiful in motion, very active, energetic, fearless and tireless.
2F types: EFLV, EFVL, LFEV, LFVE, VFEL, VFLE
3F / Third Physics
3F usually grow up late and remain thin, thin-boned and stooped all their life. Some 3F have an almost perfect body, very proportional and slender, but this is rather the exception. The face of 3F is usually asymmetrical, and some details stand out especially noticeably. In addition, 3F often suffers from acne, as their sensitive skin does not tolerate the aggressive effects of the external environment.
3F are very mobile, but their plastics lack confidence and accuracy. There is a lot of fuss, awkwardness and excessive caution in the movements of 3F. At the same time, they move a lot, they're characterised by restlessness and a desire to constantly change poses, as if they cannot find a place for themselves.
3F, despite their fragility, are generally in good health. They take care of their health all their life, as well as their appearance. They're characterised by moderation in food, mobility and subtle attention to what is happening inside the body. 3F are often fond of curative fasting and tempering.
3F are very sensitive to their appearance, they often believe that they're ugly, and this conviction of their unattractiveness becomes the main torture. Both 3F men and women often experiment in the field of fashion, they can wear provocative outfits, they are very careful about their face and body.
At the same time, 3F are very shy about their excessive sensitivity and physical weaknesses, which can be many. If 3F reveal their weaknesses to the world and there is no way to hide them, they try to play them in advance in such a way as to arouse sympathy.
Sensory perception of 3F is very sophisticated. They are able to pick up the shades of colours, sounds, smells. They can experience discomfort from too loud sounds, too pungent smells. Their element is subtle transitions, complex scales.
3F are characterised by extrasensory abilities, sensitivity to the energy interaction of people. If 3F experience physical pain, illness or hunger, their sensitivity heightens.
3F sense all physical interactions between people, as if they were through their own body. Whether they see a fight happening or observe a love scene, they experience it as if it were happening to them.
3F are not about imagining, but directly from within themselves feel someone else's physical sensations. They are very sympathetic to people that do physical labour, as well as to everyone who has to endure hardship or suffer from illness. Noticing other people's discomfort, they try to smooth it out.
In the kitchen, 3F prefer to cook something complex and sophisticated. At first, they may feel insecure, but if you teach them, and most importantly cheer them up, then they creatively recycle someone else's experience and bring something of their own to it.
3F are somewhat wary of complex mechanisms. If their work is connected with them, they prefer at first to play the role of a follower for a long time, turning to specialists at the slightest problems. But over time, their fear disappears, and they begin to act confidently, often bringing the simplest processes to real perfection.
3F have a particular attachment to their own things. They may be uncomfortable in someone else's house just because it is someone else's. Going on a trip, even for a couple of days, they can take a huge suitcase with them, in order to create a feeling of home for themselves in an unfamiliar place.
From the 3F comes the feeling of overprotection and infringement of the physical principle. It is very easy to inflict psychological trauma on them by making an incorrect or negative remark about their appearance or about their abilities as a man/woman, which they may then take a long time to heal. It's difficult to predict where exactly one can "stumble" while communicating with the 3F: each has its own weak point.
3F can be very prolific. Children are of absolute value to them. This reveals their desire to assert the full value of their physical principle. The more children there are, the fewer reasons to suffer from their own deprivation.
Some 3F overprotect its children. Since they are not too adapted to the hardships of the physical world, they seek to protect other, weaker creatures from them.
Shyness is inherent to 3F. They can be ashamed of nakedness (someone else's and their own), overt or excessive sexuality, even their passion for food, if it's peculiar to them.
3F tend to deny the importance of physiology and physical pleasures in general. They are insanely important to them - but they cannot admit it, cannot recognize the power that the physical world has over them and what great pleasure it gives.
Intimate life is the area where the duality of 3F is most clearly manifested. They usually start it rather late and with great care. And it contains both hypersexuality and bigotry. 3F are inclined to deny the meaning of eroticism, to resist their bodily desires. On the other hand, they passionately dream of surrendering to them, and if they do then with their whole being.
As far as eroticism is concerned, the feeling of fear is characteristic to 3F. They are somewhat cautious of creatures of the opposite sex and are looking for the most non-traumatic ways to realise their sexuality. Rejection is extremely painful for them. Often they prefer to refuse first as if in advance, protecting themselves from possible injury. 3F often resort to various sexual fantasies. All these are comfortable ways to realise oneself, without possibility of rejection.
3F have an avid interest in the psychology of people with open, casual, demonstrative sexuality, as well as prostitutes.
Due to their natural shyness, 3F tend to not be leading, but led by sexual partners. At the same time, they tend to put the partner's pleasure above their own.
In sex, 3F can endlessly touch and kiss just enjoying the process. In addition, their bodies are an erogenous zone all over.
3F are jealous of physical touch more so than others. Physical intimacy for them is kind of a sacred action, and they perceive the intrusion of strangers into this shrine as a betrayal.
If a partner is unfaithful to 3F - for them it's a confirmation of the defectiveness of their physical principle, which they already consider defective, and an ulterior confirmation is a huge pain for them and the strongest insult. If a partner cheated on them, they may experience such a strong disgust that they no longer can be attracted to them. At the same time, it is almost impossible to deceive them, since they sense the slightest changes in body language, it's like they can perceive someone else's frequency.
On the other side of fear and uncertainty is the desire of 3F to please everyone. Defiant behaviour is inherent in both women and men. 3F, like any Third function, doubt themselves. In order to test their attractiveness, they like to play the game of seduction, which has no other purpose other than self-affirmation. It's very difficult for 3F to refuse such behaviour, otherwise they won't be able to receive the confirmation they are looking for. If you ignore the bodily hints of 3F, then you can seriously hook them with such a game.
Men, in addition, try to assert themselves in their physical abilities. A physically perfect man has an excellent body, he is hardy and fearless. Very often 3F men go in for mountaineering, yoga, extreme sports, demonstrating their potential to themselves and others.
3F are characterised by a constant test of their strength. They like to overcome inconveniences, they can do something in uncomfortable positions and strain a lot. They're very proud of their victories in physical tests and want to be admired. It is important for them to impress in Physics. Through this behaviour, they seem to say: "I am strong after all, I can cope with physical discomfort, illness, and ordeal."
3F carry heavy things, move objects, deliberately demonstrating to everyone how hard it is for them - and at the same time refusing help. They evoke sympathy for themselves in those around them. 3F can pay for someone - but do it in such a way that the person would feel like paying them back. At the same time, they refuse it.
The attitude 3F have towards money is ambivalent. On one hand, they can be pretty frugal and stingy, then again they believe that having a lot of money is bad, in fact they love making expensive gifts, buying luxe things, and participating in charity. They may verbally deny the importance of money, but if they're honest they'll admit to the virtual importance of it.
3F are able to live at someone else's expense, but at the same time it will cause the torment of shame and a feeling of their own unfulfillment.
3F are often close in spirit to an equalising, distribution system, where everyone gets a small, but guaranteed piece of bread. They are ready to come to terms with the minimum, as long as it is guaranteed.
3F are born opponents of violence. They're pushed to this not only by sensitivity to other people's pain, but also by fear or cowardice. 3F are not great fighters because they're afraid of exposing their body to attack. They are afraid of fights in the same way as 3E are afraid of hysterics, and the 3L are afraid of sharp disputes.
If 3F are used to physical violence, they can be unnecessarily brutal and overstep the boundaries. So cowardice and cruelty coexist in them.
3F can be law-abiding. Fear of violence turns them away from the criminal path. The only crime 3F could be capable of is a out of jealousy: in such a state they are ready to commit even murder. It rarely comes to this, since until the very last moment, cruelty fights with pity and cowardice.
3F rarely commit suicide. They often think of it as a way to turn off the most restless part of themselves, but it is enough for them to imagine how tissues die off, how the heart stops beating and how the body that from healthy becomes covered with cadaveric spots, and the suicidal "appeal" disappears.
The world of 3F is a complex and contradictory one, in which the fear of bodily pain, seeming ugly or to be rejected in intimacy makes them at times hide their true desires behind hypocrisy, self-affirmation, and games of seduction. Here they boast of their appearance and physical strength, here they are ashamed of their weaknesses and are afraid of eroticism. Here, the worst crime is treason, and the greatest joy is the endless process of subtle pleasure from physical contact.
Like 2F, 3F don't sit still because of their process, but unlike in the former, it causes a feeling of "unhealthiness". 3F are painfully concentrated on their body and material condition. They can discuss with you for hours the details of diet, as well as about exercise, cosmetic procedures, massages.
3F are characterised by a desire to buy and accumulate finances. They tend to discuss in detail the pro's and con's of purchasing clothes, shoes, furniture and other things for a long time and in detail. They are split between greed and generosity. They also like to talk about ways to make money. The financial status of 3F is pretty important to them.
They can overload themselves with homework and try to attract their households to it. There is a feeling that 3F comes up with chores where there aren't - they move things, clean surfaces, explore objects. They often complain about lack of sleep, but do not want to reduce their activity. "If you want to help, don't advise me to do less, it would be more helpful if you did it for me."
They can watch a person eat something with interest; when they're offered a treat, they take a tiny piece, they invariably refuse to take a normal portion. This is due to 3F's uncertainty about their right to take something from the material world.
In addition, 3F react strangely to touches: their hugs and caresses will be cautious, as if seeking permission. They like to be liberated and pushed to physical interaction.
3F always hide an obvious complex about their appearance. They feel uncomfortable discussing their appearance, as they immediately lose their confidence. Often 3F comes up with non-existent problems with their looks.
3F types: ELFV, EVFL, LEFV, LVFE, VEFL, VLFE
4F / Fourth Physics
The appearance of 4F is distinguished by refinement. Usually these are people with sharp, small features (thin nose, thin eyebrows, small lips), although there are exceptions. If 4F are beautiful, then it's discreet. Over time, the appearance of 4F practically doesn't change.
Their movements are characterised by being static like 1F, but unlike them they lack the same confidence and picture flow from pose to pose. 4F simply make the minimum of movements required by the situation.
4F are born ascetics. Physical discomfort is not a reason for them to worry and they'll easily endure hardships and diseases. They don't attach importance to someone else's physical discomfort like their own, you can't expect much physical care from them.
4F sometimes seem parallel to the physical world. They can work without noticing fatigue, be assiduous and diligent - but at the same time indifferent to the results of their physical labour. Any dirty and even meaningless work can be assigned to them - they'll do it like any other.
4F can do with a minimum of things and conveniences, but they don't dislike luxury either. They're sincerely indifferent to the physical layer of life and usually provide themselves with the material conditions they consider necessary, often relying on the higher functions of the psychotype, which can be limited.
Money for them is an opportunity to realise higher functions, and not an end in itself. It is not money as such that matters, but the opportunities it opens up.
The sensations that 4F people are capable of experiencing are distinguished by sufficient refinement. Their body is quite receptive. Psychic abilities are available to him. Esoteric practises are easy for him: the body does not hold, while it is an excellent conductor of subtle sensations. But all this has no independent value for him. And if the higher functions of the psychotype are not interested in such sensitivity, the person will not develop and use it.
4F easily trust others in regards to the physical aspect of life - they can play sports for the company, try new physical sensations, if others say that this is good. Sometimes it seems to them that they want to do or eat something simply because another person is doing or eating next to them. They really like it when they are recommended some dish or clothes. If there is someone who will take on the issues related to her wardrobe and food, she will gladly trust someone else's decision.
4F will be what other people or themselves "make" of it. Since they don't have their own system of physical preferences, they easily accept someone else's - the one that will fit into their world and will be in agreement with the higher functions of the psychotype.
In a stressful situation, 4F are turned off first. They may become ill or lie motionless. Such people usually get physically exhausted rather quickly, especially when the Third Function is overloaded.
4F can be characterised by gloomy and even suicidal moods. The thought of suicide comes to them easily and without any disgust. This also demonstrates the ability of the Fourth function to switch off in crisis situations.
4F are characterised by a feeling of a weakened physical principle - hence the feeling of early old age even in young years, which may conflict with their healthy, full-blooded appearance. With age, this contradiction is usually smoothed out. Constant sadness, a state of melancholy, a feeling of the tragedy of being, the proximity of some kind of misfortune - is the normal state of 4F. No matter how well life develops, they'll always find a reason to feel melancholic.
4F feel some sort of indifference to the suffering and death of people: it's very close to them in spirit, so when it happens in the world they take it for granted.
4F are absolutely fearless. The fourth function is generally easily substituted by a person under attack, in this case they easily substitute a body for a blow. In the struggle, they are not inclined to spare either themselves or others.
4F can easily remove who gets in their way ("remove" without much cruelty, rather with indifference, as dust is swept away) - however, having first tried the methods of influence on the First, Second and Third functions.
4F are characterised by a weakened libido. Sex takes the last place in her hierarchy of values, sometimes, they don't understand at all why it's needed. 4F are not prone to betrayal. They can talk about sexual topics easily and fluently, without an unhealthy interest.
If they desire to do so, 4F can make for a successful political career. They're not tempted by money and women, and people really like courage and incorruptibility and that plays into their favour.
4F types: ELVF, EVLF, LEVF, LVEF, VELF, VLEF
Ousama Ranking Season 2 Episode 2: Beasts of The Wilderness | A Mysterious Desert
If there's one thing that Ousama Ranking will always be, that'd be beautiful. This episode proves that quite well as Wit seems to pump the breaks a little bit on the over the top and impressive nature of animation and allows the art and characters to do the talking.
Speaking of talking, if it wasn't already explained somewhere, this second season seems to be an addendum to events that happened before Bojji made it back to his kingdom. With that in mind, this episode we cross a perilous desert and get embroiled in comedy and cuteness.
Is it as well directed as the first episode? No. But, the direction remains consistent throughout and works well with the comedy. It's not something outstanding, but it has more than its fair share of eye candy.
It's about as inoffensive as you could make Ousama Ranking in an episode (even though it surpasses the quality of direction for plenty of series), but it's still very well done. The in-between serves to make for a really natural flow from where we see Bojji before Despa's training to after.
This season is almost like an explanation. Why it took so long, how Bojji got so good, how dangerous the journey itself was. It's a really nice approach that answers any questions doubtful viewers might have had through the first season. And in doing so it manages to weave in a few other details from the initial season too.
Above all though, it's very fun and light. It doesn't carry the weight of the original series, but instead a levity that anyone is able to enjoy. Something far closer to the "ideal" fairy tale. High energy, high stakes, but a clear and righteous victor at the end of everything that can impart a message to people who watch it.
And of course, like I said earlier, it certainly helps that it's really pretty. Though I think that there's more to the latter half than the former, but the latter also has the benefit of a more vibrant and detailed environment.
Among the things that are going to seem dated in 2030...
Takes by anime pfps and others that overemphasize organizations' and movements' organism-like nature.
This might be an overuse of the term "egregores," or it might be calling soldiers "biomaterials." These takes are not necessarily reactionary, as the 'overwhelming social forces' framework is external locus of control, and can thus also be leftist.
While large social forces do have an effect all their own, this underemphasizes the degree to which institutions are under the influence of human agency, and understates how many moves by institutions are decisions which could have been decided differently.
It's the wrong scale of analysis. The natural flow of information and decision-making causes power to accumulate in narrowing hierarchies (since no one can process all the information), and procedures are only real if individual people decide to follow them.
Sometimes if something seems to be an implacable social force, it may be that you simply have not located the decision point.
Sometimes things really aren't under human control, whether that's a tremendous earthquake hitting Turkey and Syria, or how high someone can jump despite training, or that a certain amount of food has to be harvested or people will die.
Other times, people who benefit from something being perceived as an unstoppable force will pretend that there is no decision point to find, and that the effects are inevitable.
Individual moral character, individual judgment, individual beliefs, and individual capabilities, matter immensely. There is no alternative to people who will do the right thing in the dark, when no one is watching. There is no alternative to people who actually have real ability.
The Benefits of Explainer Videos for the Healthcare Industry
In the rapidly changing healthcare industry, effective communication is the key to engaging, educating, and making patients understand. The health sector has seen a new powerful tool in explainer videos, which have been used to explain complicated concepts, market services, and facilitate communication between the patient and the provider. For us, being one of the Best Animation Studios, we feel that integration of explainer videos in healthcare organizations will be of great value.
1. Simplifying Complex Information
Healthcare is replete with jargon and long procedures that leave the patients baffled. An explainer video makes things clear through graphics and simple words, which allows the patient to understand more about his or her diagnosis, possible treatments, and procedures carried out on him or her. It will help break down these complex concepts and allow the healthcare providers to better facilitate patients' comprehension and ease stress.
Example: A short animated video explaining a surgical procedure can alleviate patient fears and provide clarity about what to expect before, during, and after the operation.
2. Enhancing Patient Engagement
Engaging the patients in their improvement journey is crucial for favorable outcomes. A video explainer may even be of interest to more people than any ordinary pamphlet or leaflet. Animation and storytelling in videos make patients hear and remember better, making them more involved in care.
Example: A video that shares patient testimonials and success stories can motivate others to seek treatment, fostering a sense of community and support.
3. Boosting Marketing Efforts
Marketing is important for attracting more patients and sustaining the existing flow of patients for a healthcare organization. Explainer videos will be shared across the sites, social media, or even during the onboarding process of the patient. Videos that display services, expertise, or the philosophy about patient care are effective marketing tools.
Example: A promotional video showcasing a new health service or technology can attract potential patients while educating them about the benefits.
4. Improving Training and Education
Explainer videos not only benefit patients but are also a great tool for training staff. Visual aids enhance the learning experience for healthcare professionals, and thus organizations can use these explainer videos to train healthcare professionals on new equipment, procedures, or compliance guidelines.
Example: A training video demonstrating the proper use of a medical device can improve staff competency and reduce errors.
5. Accessibility and Convenience
The explainer videos are available at all times, anywhere. It is an easy resource for patients, they can replay the video as many times as needed to ensure they understand what is happening to their health and treatment plan.
Example: Patients can watch instructional videos on managing chronic conditions from the comfort of their homes, empowering them to take control of their health.
Conclusion
Explainer videos are extremely important for the healthcare sector, considering their ability to clarify, engage, and aid patients as well as healthcare professionals. Being one of the Best Animation Studios, we know that what's needed is exceptional production and storytelling that gives impact to the videos in resonance with the target audiences.
