Bird of Paradise // Donut County
Lyrics:
You're my bird of
You're my bird of paradise
Make me feel like dancin' around
Singin' you a song that makes you feel
Like you're the only bird on this tree
I'm dancin' around makin' you smile
Singing you a song that makes you feel
Like you're the only one for me
I'm dancin' around flyin' for miles
Singin' you a song that makes you feel like
Da da da da da da da...
Paradise
You make me feel like dancin' around
Singin' you a song that makes you feel
Makes you feel
Makes you feel like

Game 36: Donut County Sometimes you look at something that knows it's whimsical and charming, and you know you're in for a good ride. Donut County is literally just that tied together in a fun little bow of simple gameplay feeding a hole. It really is something akin to Katamari Damacy where it feeds that innate "make small thing big" snowball effect; while still being it's own kind of destruction. Donut County starts out with a simple story of a raccoon playing a game on his phone while delivering "Donuts" to the residents of Donut County. It doesn't take long to figure out that these donuts are just the holes that are used to gobble everything up as we then flash forward to everyone blaming the raccoon for him rightfully ruining the whole town. I won't get into the rest of the story from here, but this scenario does make for some pretty fun comebacks and dialogue that help the game remain as charming as it is fun. As well the overall solution and ending to the game are just as dubiously dumb as it begins. You won't spend a long time with Donut County as it's roughly 2 hours long at best, but it's never really a dull moment. From being able to make fun hole big problems to solving said problems with other hole like mechanics; this game really uses everything you needed out of a game that uses a hole to solve everything. If you ever have an afternoon of boredom and access to Donut County; I'd strongly suggest picking this game up, and playing through it. It won't take long, and it's incredibly delightful with it's complete exploration of it's gameplay mechanics, music, and visuals.

You're telling me the same guy who helped design What Remains of Edith Finch also designed Donut County. And Sonic Dreams Collection. And Neon White of all things.

DANCE OF THE SEVEN VEILS || coming soon ||
──── a homelander x hispanic oc story.
✰ summary — Salomé was Stan Edgar's wife. He was thirty years older than her, boring and unaffectionate. They shared nothing in common, and only exchanged small pleasantries while in the office. She was a decoration and a sign of status to him. To her, he was financial security and an easy way to get a green-card. It was clear to anyone with common sense that quid pro quo was the basis of their marriage.
Homelander found it infuriating. Leaving such a rare flower to whiter on the hands of that old geezer should be a capital crime. So he allowed himself a sniff or two while no one was watching. Sometimes, not even her.
✰ warnings - +18, stalking, obsessive behavior, mental instability, infidelity, breaking and entering, watching someone sleep, mutual pining, dead dove, yandere!homelander.
