now, laudna gets a second chance at a happy ending, and it’s all because a little blue tiefling said ‘i want a hug’ to a war criminal and turned him into her friend.

i will never get over jester's impact as a character. she loves essek into redemption. she loves artagan into being a god. she loves the mighty nein into becoming a family.

it's the Being Saved by the Love of Your Friends show, and she's the star.

I’ve seen a few “does Ludinus actually think this is going to work on BH” posts floating around after ep 1 of Downfall and I’m inclined to believe that yes, it is going to work, to some extent.

I have deeper theories but even on the surface at its most basic there’s knowing conceptually from your history that the Prime and Betrayers teamed up to destroy a whole city, but actually seeing it happen? Watching the Primes take mortal form to deceive the safeguards of of Aeor and work together with the Betrayers? Seeing the genocide of a city before their very eyes? Yeah, that won’t be easy to watch, for them or us.

Just look at what happened to Orym and Laudna’s mental states after the fight in the Dawnfather’s temple. When divinity struck against those who dared to challenge them. Bells Hells will face a reckoning.
