The fact that Fiedra has ZERO maternal instincts. She is trying SO hard to be a good parent and she is SO incapable of it, she is fundamentally a terrible parent, she cannot help but making it worse the moment a kid looks to her for comfort or even just surprise at kindness. In this political moment Fiedra Marrow is not only so important but also CRITICAL to the landscape of female characters. Just a bastard who cannot help but fuck up being a mom no matter how hard she tries. Unironically she is everything she is the MOMENT.
