7. who's your favourite player who's ever been on your favourite team?

hannah bilka doesn't technically count because of where she went to high school BUT she feels like she's always destined to play against my favorite teams instead of for them, so i'm going to say cody bellinger, who has been a dodger, a cub, and now a yankee, but will never be a phillie. his himbo energy has bewitched me. i want to put him in a jar and shake it around.

12. do you have any collections (cards, jerseys, etc)?

uh. you don't want to know how many jerseys i have. it's over 50, i can tell you that much. might be closer to 60 at this point. a lot of them are from when my parents worked for the phillies and got a ton of merch for free. the rest are just bad financial choices on my part.

15. which athlete was your favourite growing up? why?

same as my favorite athlete of all time, carlos ruiz! i grew up as a catcher (still am, but it's rec league, not competitive) so i felt obligated to like whoever was catching for the phillies, and he didn't make me regret it. chooch is not only the best game caller possibly of all time, but he famously got a drug suspension for... forgetting to report he was on adhd meds. because of the adhd. which made him forget. and seeing as i was stuck behind the plate because i could only focus if subjected to the imminent danger that was a pitch being hurled at my head, i relate to him on a fundamental level. even if i don't have 26 horses.
