Jason on karaoke night singing "What I know now" from the Beetlejuice musical at the top of his lungs. It's not even off-key (because he's memorized the melody) but Bruce has stopped breathing somewhere between "I wouldn't have had my little accident" and "see a shrink, call a priest, ask the recently deceased". Jason joyfully shouts "I exploded!" and Dick's face turns to shrimp colour. Duke is laughing his ass off

Jason had always been a theatre fan. That didn’t go away after his death and revival. So when he found out a theatre in Gotham was preforming a musical, he didn’t hesitate to audition. The guy he was running lines with was actually kind of cute.

Danny didn’t normally act in musicals. He may enjoy listening to them, but he never considered himself a great actor. However, he lost a bet with Tucker, so he had to audition for the musical Tucker was working on. It didn’t hurt that the guy he was auditioning with was really hot.

Tucker knew his friend Duke’s brother was auditioning. He also knew Duke’s brother was exactly Danny’s type. Having the director pair them together was just his job as Danny’s best friend.

DC/Broadway Shadow Box!

Some fun items I've been very fortunate enough to collect 💚 and wanted them framed to admire.

This one includes the Lydia bag (DC show curtain piece), along with the necklace bar pieces on each side and the swirl piece on the bag (made from the stage). Purchased from Scenery Bags.

The tote bag, beetle pin, demon button, and show time lanyard were gotten at the merch booth on Broadway.

Framing done by Hobby Lobby. They've done other framing work for me before and love how this turned out. A few more on the way!

The out-of-town tryout of @/beetlejuicebway in Washington DC was filled with so many exciting highs, like singing with the orchestra for the first time, and the many discoveries that come from assembling the show at last and listening to audience reactions. I just found out that beetlejuice is canon in the dc universe because of one episode in teen titans go.

That silly show that I don’t understand the plot of but know it’s about the teen titans, and they had an episode with beetlejuice in it! I haven’t seen it but I’m baffled!

I’m also thinking about the potential this could have with Danny phantom crossovers, the infinite realms is infinite….
