had a dream last night that i was watching the teaser for the next episode of a live action series of tmagp, which was giving me serious anxiety because it looked very much like another "gwen having an awful time" episode lmao

anyway all i remember is briefly seeing a man that i think was michael shelley and that gwen was played by ella purnell:

had a dream that i teleported to the utica archeological museum via google maps and had a few hours before it closed to try and see the volubilis cato bust (not discovered or now displayed in utica. but whatever) BUT i was there with Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus From Roman History and he was in the like. museum restaurant. repeatedly almost getting poisoned. like he would order ‘totally not poisoned pineapple ice cream just for pompey :)’ off the menu. see someone else try it and be clearly poisoned. and say well surely it won’t do that to Me. so i had to keep throwing the food on the floor or out the window to stop him being poisoned by it AND this meant i couldn’t leave him alone and go and see the statue of cato. SAD!

Happy 1st Anniversary To Rayman In The Phantom Show!!!🎊💗

(Ft. An unapologetically sentimental essay about my feelings on this dlc and why it means so much to me under the cut)

To anyone who has been following me for a while now, I think you all know about how I feel about rayman as a whole, I love him. I have loved him since I was 6-7 years old when I first played rayman origins on my late brother's psvita we used to own. Rayman is a series that has always been in the back of my mind, even back in my 2020 era when I mostly just posted about don't hug me I'm scared. So it's not hard to figure out that your man was excited when it was announced that he was coming back in full glory in the form of a mario + rabbids dlc.

By the time it was I think june of 2023 I found myself obsessing over rayman again like I used to back then as a child. and it felt great. it felt great to just, actively be heavily invested again in this series after so long, feels good.

the future of rayman himself might be uncertain, but the fact that I was able to spend more time with him after years of being apart is always going to something I cherish.

2023 was a really rough time for me, I mean it's not much better right now. but I was going through a really miserable time in my life at that point. but rayman in the phantom show motivated me to keep going, the promise I would be reunited with an old friend was enough for me to push through despite everything. and it's not much different today, this month has been a very awkward and stressful one, with school eating away at my soul and being constantly reminded of the terrifying idea of adulthood leaving me miserable and bitter as a result. but I was willing to go through all that because I was going to celebrate something I cherish more than life itself ♡

It was a miracle how Dream seemed to float over the grass, the blades pushing against his feet leaving him almost floating yet not.

It amazed Blue, how did he do that, why did nature seem to move to his will? Dream was a living Disney princess in his eyes.

He watched as a bird flew over and landed on Dreams shoulder, whistling a sweet song before offering Dream a seed like he was a baby bird. Dream simply giggled like this was a normal occurrence and took the seed and popped it in his mouth. Not bothering to check why the bird brought him a seed or what type of seed it was and if monsters could safely eat it.

Which kinda made since as Dream never seemed to care what was edible or not and just tossed it into his mouth as long as it was plant based. Blue hummed, there must be a way that that's connected. Friends with the animals and eating everything that one offered to him without a thought.

Blue watched as the bird hopped up onto Dreams head and pecked him three times in rapid session, took a break, and then tapped against Dreams crown a few times. It was almost if the bird was knocking a sort of code.

Ink suddenly melted out of a nearby tree, making Blue jump.

“Oh hello Ink, I haven't seen you in a while!” Blue exclamated as his eyelights drifted pass long dead grass to meet Inks face.

“Swap,,” Ink shifted almost nervously “Buddy what are you doing back in dreamtale, you know its in quarantine”

“What,,?” Blue, No, Swap, stopped staring at Ink and took a look around. “But” He whispered, “Dream was here, and, AND” Swap rushed to explain, “There-e was a bird, and and it flew from a tree and landed on Dreams skull and gave him a seed and-”

Ink stuck his hand over Swaps eyes and made direct eye contact

“Hey. Swap. Look at me” Swap tried, he really did but he could hear the birds singing again and the song was memorizing and he watched Dream float over from where he was sitting to the middle of the field where he began to dance. Blue was stuck watching as Dream swayed to the rhythm of the breeze, leaves, and bird chirps.

He could faintly feel hands grab his face, trying to force him to look away from the now faintly glowing Dream. He giggled, didn't the hands know it was good to watch?

Ink struggled to turn Swaps face away from whatever vision he was seeing. Keeping hold, even has golden tears leaked from Swaps eyes as he giggled in a demented manor.

“Swap please, I can't loose another friend” He recognized the symptoms. Nightmares gang had done the same thing soon after He faded due to the falling of Dream. He knew if it lasted to long Swap would be the next to fall.

It was scary to watch Cross crack first. Giggling the second Nightmare went down, weird tar like tears, much like Killers, dripping from his face like rain. Dust had backed up as Horror rushed forward to catch Cross as his knees buckled and he toppled.

Dust had managed to back up into Killers chest, gripping the front of his shirt in an uncharacteristic display of fear. Killer had just stood there as everyone around him panicked, to numb to properly respond to reality. He has been the last of the gang to go, ironically as he was the first to join.

Horror has started giggling soon after Cross had seezed, the giggling had turned into insane cackling as he tugged at his socket hard enough to recrack it

anyway. yep! my headcanon is that the mushroom series of heartless were essentially like early versions of ansem. experiments to see if creating a heartless with a will of its own were even possible. (the mushrooms just wanna play charades and go on nice walks! they wont steal your heart because their instincts tell em’ to! they’ll only snatch it if they feel like it <3) how can you make an “immortal” successor if they cant even understand the research you left for them? so thats why they were created!
