Imagine Snape taking care of your daughter so you can sleep in.

The room is still and quiet, wrapped in the soft shadows of early morning. You barely stir as the sound of the door creaks open, then shuts with careful precision. Somewhere in the haze of near wakefulness, you hear Severus’ deep, gravelly voice. Low, soothing, and unmistakably calm.

“Shh,” he murmurs. “Your mummy is sleeping.”

Your toddler’s giggle follows, light as a bell, and you imagine her perched on his hip, her tiny fingers likely tugging on his hair or the edge of his robes. You keep your eyes closed, a rare opportunity to let yourself drift back into slumber without worry. Severus is here. He’ll handle her.

From the hallway, the muffled sounds of his footsteps retreat, and you catch snippets of his soft spoken commentary. “No, you may not chew on the hem of my robe. That’s hardly sanitary… Yes, you may have juice, but only after breakfast. That is non negotiable.”

You smile faintly into the pillow, but your body stays heavy, reluctant to break the spell of much needed rest.

Time slips by, and when you finally stir again, you realize the house is quiet. It takes a moment to push yourself upright, the lingering pull of exhaustion still clinging to you. Padding toward the living room, you find the two of them there, Severus seated in the armchair, your daughter nestled in his arms, clutching a soft, worn blanket as if it were her most prized possession.

He’s reading to her.

His voice is even, steady, and somehow softer than you ever thought possible for him. There’s no trace of the sharpness he wields so well in the classroom, no biting dry wit. Instead, his words are deliberate, gentle, as if the weight of his love for her exists in every syllable.

Your daughter shifts in his lap, leaning her cheek against his chest. He adjusts her automatically, one arm curling protectively around her, and continues reading without pause.

You lean against the doorframe, unnoticed, letting the moment sink into your heart. This is Severus Snape as only you and your daughter will ever know him —a man who softens when he thinks no one is looking, who allows himself to be vulnerable, just for her.

When he finally looks up and sees you, his expression doesn’t change, but there’s a flicker of something warm in his eyes. “You’re awake,” he says quietly, as if reluctant to disturb the peaceful scene he’s created.

“I am,” you reply, voice still husky from sleep. “Thank you.”

He nods once, returning his attention to the little girl now dozing in his arms. “I’ll let you handle the next tantrum,” he says dryly, but the corner of his mouth twitches with a hint of a smile.

You walk over and press a kiss to his temple, resting your hand briefly on your daughter’s soft curls. “Deal,” you whisper.

And in that moment, everything feels exactly as it should.

Imagine being nervous to share your bed with Bellatrix.

You’re not sure why you’re nervous. It’s not as if Bellatrix has ever made you feel unsafe. Quite the opposite, really. She was intimidating, eccentric, but she’d never treated you badly.

Yet the bed feels too small with her in it, though it’s big enough for two. You sit on the edge, your back straight, hands fidgeting with the hem of your sleeve as if that will distract you from the way her dark eyes are watching you. She doesn’t speak, but you can feel her amusement. She always seems to know when you’re uneasy.

“Get in,” she finally says, voice smooth and sharp all at once. It’s not a request.

You swallow hard and do as you’re told, pulling the covers over yourself as though they’ll shield you from her scrutiny. She’s already lying back, one arm draped lazily behind her head, the other resting close enough to you that her fingertips brush your skin when you shift. The contact makes you flinch.

“What’s the matter,” she purrs, turning her head to look at you properly now. “Afraid I’ll bite?”

You don’t answer, though you know that’s exactly what she wants, a reaction. She always wants to see you squirm.

Bellatrix shifts closer, her breath warm against your ear. “Or is that what you want?”

Your pulse quickens, and you feel the heat rising in your cheeks. She laughs and rolls onto her side, her hand sliding up your arm, nails grazing skin just enough to make you shiver.

“You don’t have to be afraid of me,” she whispers.

You turn your head to face her, and the intensity in her gaze nearly knocks the air from your lungs. She’s too close now, her dark curls spilling across the pillow, her lips parted ever so slightly.

“Unless, of course,” she murmurs, “you like being afraid.”

And maybe you do. Maybe that’s what scares you the most. You like the unpredictability she brings. It keeps you on edge. She had you figured out before you did.

Summary: You find yourself alone this Christmas, but so does Narcissa and she’s not about to let that stand.

Darkness had fallen as you sat on a bench in Diagon Alley, lost in thought as a quiet melancholy settled within you as you contemplated spending the holiday season alone. The lamplight was your only friend, it seemed, saving you from being swallowed up in total darkness. The festive decorations all around seemed to mock your solitude. Just as despair began to take root, a shop door creaked open, revealing Narcissa Malfoy.

"Narcissa, what brings you here?" you asked, surprised to see anyone still out at this hour. Though, honestly, you weren’t even a hundred percent sure how much time you’d passed out here yourself.

She offered a soft smile that didn’t quite reach her sad eyes. “Passing the time, I suppose. With Draco grown and Lucius…” Narcissa trailed off, recalling the bitter divorce earlier that year. You’d read about it in the Daily Prophet, but didn’t mention it.

“No one should be alone for the holidays,” you said instead, the sentiment a true enough one in your heart. “I find myself in a similar situation. Perhaps we could spend Christmas together?"

Grateful for the unexpected company, Narcissa accepted your kind offer, then making one of her own. “You’re welcome to come to my home and stay, at least through the holidays.” It was your turn to smile now and you let Narcissa lead you to her home, far more modest than Malfoy Manor, no doubt, but tastefully decorated and it seemed to suit her.

As you both settled in by the crackling fire, Narcissa spoke gently, sharing stories from happier Christmases past and you did the same, helping the both of you to ease that loneliness that had threatened to consume you. The warmth of her presence was a Christmas blessing if there ever was one.

As the evening unfolded, Narcissa gave you a full tour of her home, garland and ornaments giving the place a festive feel. You were finally starting to feel like you should at the holidays; grateful, cheerful and dare you say loved?

The tour concluded back at the hearth. Above the mantel hung a sprig of mistletoe that hadn’t escaped your notice. Narcissa followed your eyes, landing on the plant she’d forgotten that she put up. She was hardly expecting the tradition to arise this year. But, as she took a moment to think about it, her gaze fell back to you. A tender smile played on her lips, and in that moment, she decided that, though it may have been unplanned, the tradition could certainly continue.

Without a word, Narcissa closed the distance between you, capturing your lips in a gentle, lingering kiss. You met her kiss eagerly, returning it, as you pulled her closer. The crackling of the fire and the soft glow of the fairy lights that surrounded you seemed to dance in celebration of your newfound connection, turning a lonely holiday into a memory to cherish.

Crowley Being Protective Of You And Your Unborn Child Would Include

Crowley assigns a bodyguard to discreetly watch over you when he can’t, ensuring your safety without being too intrusive. Possibly a minor demon, or Aziraphale, or whoever is available and he considers trustworthy.

If nosy or dangerous entities inquire about you or your unborn child, Crowley handles them with his trademark sardonic wit, and some not so veiled threats, ensuring they keep their distance.

Knowing that stress isn't good for you or the baby, Crowley goes out of his way to eliminate unnecessary stressors and provides you as much relaxation and comfort as he’s able to manage.

He’ll miracle a little forcefield around you to basically dampen your presence so you go largely unnoticed unless you wish to be perceived, and if you do, he advises you only reveal yourself to trusted individuals.

If you need to get away for a while, he’ll let you take the Bentley, preferably with him in it, but since he knows his driving makes you nervous for your and the baby’s health and safety, he’ll let you drive. Just for short trips though.

Cuddling With The Tenth Doctor Would Include

Ten is so cuddly, but he also squirms. It’s sometimes hard for him to keep still.

He has a vice grip on you when you cuddle. His hearts are just so full of love and adoration that it can come out as aggressively affectionate.

When you can get him to actually go to bed and rest, you’ll often wake up to at least one of his limbs draped over your body.

He loves to nuzzle into your neck when you cuddle. Bonus points if you ruffle or play with his hair. It’ll practically make him purr.
