I had forgotten how much I liked Squid Game...
Pink Soldier Light has been on my mind since 2021. Now, with Season 2's release, I believed it was time for me to actually draw him.

Merc getting praised to kingdom come by sky sports for their team 1 not flopping and 2 not screwing their drivers over like the other teams on the grid this weekend, only to then fuck their winning driver over because of the weight of the car is a true act of solidarity from them I didn't expect. They really said F1 means Flop as 1

The idea of reader not fearing Dottore at all is so funny to me😭😭 esp. when they come to scold him, probably happens often because he just! refuses! to rest!
Every time this happens fatui soldiers drop whatever they're doing just to look observe you two, it's not every day you see someone giving a lecture to a 2nd ranked harbinger! even Dottore's own segments do the same
I think fatuis who work under Dottore will still fear them, but less when you're here. More to be said - if something happens to Doctor, you're the first person they come to
Look, if you want to kiss the crazy doctor man, you gotta match the crazy doctor man's energy. Which means you have to be able to stand your ground throughout it all. Nothing new for you though since this has been happening for several hundred years 😀 You try not to do it in front of other people but sometimes things have to be said. The Fatui just have to make sure they don't outwardly react to your statements otherwise they probably won't see the light of day again.
The regular Fatuis do admire you a lot, simply because of your incredible ability to speak to their Harbinger like that with no consequences lol, they've already pieced together what your relationship with him is and they find you fascinating yet also kinda terrifying at the same time, because how did you even find yourself in that position?? A lot of them want to talk to you but they really can't otherwise they know Dottore would kill them 💀 But they're just glad they have the option to report to you instead of the Doctor.

Still cannot tell if he's genuinely malevolent or if he just has a comically bad view on how friendships work. One thing is for sure - he is a silly guy

We’re in a very very small country town and a whole bunch of people just came into the only cafe and the woman working here was basically like damn, I can’t help all of you, who can write and has recruited a random customer to work behind the counter lmao

my toxic trait is that i'm most drawn to serial bullshitters, scam artists and compulsive liars as characters, or as i like to call them, chaos gremlins. they come in different flavours, but for some reason they all just can't stop lying! i don't know it says about me, it's not exclusive either - as shrek once said i've got layers like an onion, it's just they often tend to be loudest in my head.

Have you ever played... Huniepop? An AC game in Huniepop style would be fun.
I saw a free uncensored version but I’m totally not sure if that website is legit because, from what I could see, Huniepop is not free in Stream so, like… I don't wanna risk it unless someone can verify that the free version is legit.
Although, I did check the wiki and it’s part dating sim, part three tiles match if I’m correct?
And all I can think about is…
“Hey, Ubisoft would probably make a low effort version of that. They’re already rumored to be making 11 Assassin’s Creed games anyway.”
It really says something about how I feel for Ubisoft as a company that a three tile dating sim game for Assassin’s Creed characters?
I would be ‘wtf’ but I won’t be surprised XD
Anyway, so let’s talk about how this might work. (Ubisoft, if you’re, on the off chance, actually reading this, go ahead, man, use this idea if you want, just, like, add Desmond AND Callum, you cowards)
First of all, it’s gotta be an Abstergo ploy.
They saw how much simping was happening for their History’s Hitmen sub-series of ‘Animus: History is Our Playground’ series and they’re so livid that their Fallen Heroes Series is just ‘meh’. Like, Haytham Kenway is the ones getting simped on the levels of the ‘protagonists’ of History’s Hitmen and there’s a lot of fans who is like “but what if he was an Assassin?” or “what if he reconciled with his son?” so Haytham Kenway is like the blacksheep of Abstergo Entertainment.
Out of… well, no one would call it desperation but Abstergo Entertainment’s profits had been ‘disappointing’ so they’re currently developing more than 10 Animus games!
During that development period, they decided to just put out a low effort three tile game with dating sim elements.
Why is it low effort?
Because it uses the actual data taken from the memories of the Animus and used that to ‘create’ the avatars. No testing if this wouldn’t bite them in the ass later or if the Animus can even do such a thing.
They got a lot of flack for it being online-only game but the dating sim elements certainly became the hook because it’s set for voice recognition and the avatars seemed to actually be understanding them.
It became a hit.
And, of course, History’s Hitmen gets a lot of ‘players’.
And that’s when a lot of players notice it.
Sometimes, an avatar who looks a lot like Altaïr and Ezio would greet them to tell them that Altaïr or Ezio or Ratonhnhaké:ton is busy at the moment.
Sometimes he appears in Edward and Haytham as well but he’s mostly seen in those three.
Mostly they assume he was meant to be a ‘message’ about how there’s a lot of server requests since he appears on the ones that have a lot of ‘players’.
Then posts start popping up on how you can actually talk and interact with that messenger. And he also has his own three tile game which he talks about, even giving suggestions or asking what this or that powerup do.
And the rumors start circulating.
He was meant to be the tutorial.
He was actually a secret avatar.
All the while, Abstergo Entertainment is quietly panicking.
Because that low effort three tile dating sim game?
It’s disappeared from their computers.
It’s in the servers but they can’t find it.
They can’t even shut it down.
And that day the ‘game’ disappeared in their computers…
All of Sample 17’s data also disappeared.

I think diversity in Jewish practice is good because it indicates a healthy culture, and part of that for Judaism is obviously debate
But I DESPISE the way so many people talk about non-Rabbinic movements- especially Karaites (who are very old) and Kohenets (who are new) because the arguments are almost never like. Respectful.
People don't care to analyze what these people think, where they come from, how they root themselves in Jewish history and how their philosophies developed from their parent traditions. They aren't fair or accurate. They don't care to listen to what they have to say and how they view themselves.
I did a live tweeting while I was reading the introductory Kohenet book, and while I don't agree entirely with the movement I was presented with (I think it's very white, cis, hetero-centric "metaphysics" that idealizes ideas like motherhood too much), I still found value in it, and Kohenet/Rabbi Hammer was able to explain the cultural and textual roots of her movement. It's well rooted enough that some of the people against her straight up feel that Kabbalah is also unacceptable in Judaism, because it's clear a lot of her inspiration IS Kabbalist. The difference is she isn't centering the lives of married men, but instead the lives of (some) women. I don't think I'd ever consider myself an adherent of her movement, but I think it has value and there are aspects of what she said that I've internalized.
The other thing is that the prohibition on "outside" influence, legally and socially, has always been vague, up for debate, and partly influenced by xenophobia. It is both a way of maintaining traditions in a good sense, and a weapon against those advocating changes that just "feel icky". This is true of any attempt at maintaining tradition, honestly. But I find it distasteful because people will scoff at Kohenets but then happily accept a Rabbi who wears a reverend's robe and uses Christian language like "pulpit". Most Jews have accepted outside practices- WHITE, CHRISTIAN outside practices. While I thought the book was too white, there are non-white Kohenets, and it is notable to me in these conversations that Hammer's co-author leads a Sufi interfaith group and has experience with Candomblé- i.e. she at least somewhat is in community with Arab and Black spiritual movements.
And again, this doesn't apply to new groups only. Beta Israelite's traditional Judaism is probably a thousand years old at least, and it and other traditional practices are not "legitimate" because they don't look Rabbinic. Same for Karaites and all other non-Rabbinic groups. It's fucking terrible that Rabbinic Judaism isn't only privileged this way, but actively tries to make non-Rabbinic Jews convert to Rabbinic Judaism. It's not healthy, it's some might makes right bullshit.

the way so many people are complaining, like, “this season lacked of stakes” (because there was no death??) and it’s like... when did we become so addicted to cynical pieces of media, expecting characters to die, for a story to have “stakes” or any emotional payoff? why, tf, are there people who can’t settle for a (temporary, because there is a s4) clear-cut happy ending? and i find it particularly ironic considering s1 and s2 also end up on a clear-cut happy ending but somehow it wasn’t “a lack of stakes” back then... *rolls eyes* i just feel like so many people forgot what star wars is: star wars is luke and han strolling randomly around an imperial base and finding leia just chilling even tho she is the rebellion’s leader. them escaping because obi wan bee-booped the right button. star wars is a bunch of teddy bears saving the galaxy. star wars is anakin skywalker pressing random buttons on a spaceship as a 10 years old and winning a war just like that. star wars is jar jar dropping a ball out of sheer clumsiness and zapping a whole bunch of droids just like that. star wars is grogu being captured by imperial guards on episode 7 of season 1 and being rescued by ig-11 not even 2 minutes into the final episode. star wars is nanny ig-11 just zooming around nevarro destroying the whole imperial army without a scratch to him or yknow, the baby he carried with him. did people forget how the other two seasons were also completely “lacking dramatic stakes”??? because they’re just there, i watched the two previous seasons just before s3 and let me tell you: they’re the same. the arc is the same: grogu (din on s3) gets taken on the penultimate (or one before on s2) episode, somehow the search party does everything right and everything is solved by the end of the season. even more than that, on s1 kuiil dies on episode 7, here, paz vizsla dies on episode 7. so. no death??? why is it a problem now? like?? no stakes?? a whole exiled people finding their rightful place on their planet and ridding their homeworld of the invader that is the empire, wasn’t enough for y’all?? like i get it, y’all love the depressing era of andor and all, which is fine, to each their own. but why does it prevent other shows of just being what they want to be? yknow, potentially goofy and yknow, actually hopeful? because we know how cassian andor ends up. he dies. it’s horrible, it’s sad, it’s depressing. like, are we really out there pretending that din and grogu’s storyline wouldn’t be as fullfilling because they don’t die in what is basically an atomic explosion or something???

thinking 'bout how the lads interact with what the bracelets represent, especially in their decks
#marwospeaking#Yuuya is by far hardest to work with on this because he Varies. but that might just be him being opposite to Yuzu so it might count?#anyway Yuuya is a bushfire made by fireworks set off without proper precaution (the improperly set off fireworks being Zarc..#.. being influenced into the position that made the lads through his desire to both destroy and entertain his crowds)#It's small sometimes. but in the right conditions is an unstoppable conflagration#Yuuto literally does not die. In a world where we never truly get the other two (Yuugo and Yuuri) interacting with their host (Yuuya)..#.. outside of duels. he very much does. He is undead in a way the others don't quite match (pre Zarc revival) and it's opposite to..#.. En Bird's life (assuming it counts death too as part of its cycle)#Yuugo uses machine monsters - things that distinctly don't breathe. and in most cases have exhaust pipes billowing fumes#and machines can be warm to the touch at times. which you could feasibly slide against Rin's Windwitches for being Very Cold Ladies#Also he's trapped no matter where he is. Neo Domino has a stronger grip on him as a person than anyone else. and when he might finally..#.. escape that. he's trapped in someone else's body with no canonical recourse. because the story ended on Yuuya's terms and no one elses#Yuuri is hardest to place but I think he's very stationary. Sere's monsters are dancers - constantly moving - and she's very able to#adapt as she goes despite how stupid she can be book-wise. Yuuri is rooted into his role. even when he discards his loyalty his role was..#.. always in Zarc's interest no matter if he knew or not. The Professor's loyalty from him is an add-on to that#... I'd argue Zarc cared more about his pieces than Ray cared about hers also? He made cards for them on the fly so they'd Win#Even in moments where that victory is not in a wholly positive light - Odd-Eyes Raging and Gatlinghoul - but we know he's capable of it..#.. a la allowing Yuuya to debut pendulum monsters on his behalf in order to win against Ishijima#something something this can then apply to the other lads. they never lose except to each other and Ray's girls (at least on screen)#Yuuto survived 3 years of war. even despite Yuugo and Yuuri showing up. so methinks Zarc must've had a role in helping him survive#Like. Zarc's distinctly present for his Lads. Ray's not present for her lasses until one of them speaks through her#Sure it's very possible that's a bracelet thing - they are floodgates at the end of the day - and not a Ray thing. but it also wouldn't..#.. surprise me given Ray is an Akaba. we know they will sacrifice others for a gain later on - Ray's was sacrificing a whole world to make.#.. a safer one for everyone to live in. irrelevant on if they remember it or if they never existed originally. Except Leo Akaba. He does#(with memory reading tech) and it tortures him the whole time. she didn't mean to hurt him but Still#Zarc's distinctly not better than Ray - he's still broken wide open when it comes to his hatred of humanity (but not his human half)#and it resulted in multiple near-deaths the second time around - but I can't say Ray's that much better if it turns out the bracelets..#.. weren't floodgating her ability to help her lasses#Completely unrelated but. I don't like what Arcray represents ngl. makes it seem like Zarc could never move on with the help of his lads#and has to rely on someone who killed him and sent him to purgatory about it in order to heal.

I like having joined a book fandom that's still new and fresh cause we get to nerdily bond as we devour a release of a new book in the series and I get to see all the theories and discussions and memes in real time as opposed to years later when everyone else knows how it ends so I have to block the fandom bc of spoilers. It's a feeling I haven't had since a teenager bc as of late I drag my ass into a fandom like a decade after its hayday and miss all the fun stuff
But it sucks ass that I am no longer as weirdly and eerily patient like I was as a child and the nine month wait for Heavenly Tyrant to come out is driving me crazy
