i wanted to get ali's opinion on how it seems a lot of journalists over the hiatus have made it known that they're buddie fans and they don't like BT and are getting very loud and bold about it. You understand how media works so I was wondering if this is an intentional move by ABC before the season begins to get media outlets to start being like this is about Buddie and Eddie, it's never been about Tommy.

Hey Nonny, as I said yesterday, Ali won't be answering any more questions via my blog. But we did briefly talk about this topic and I would like to share some of her insight here. Keep in mind that my own opinions and thoughts are intertwined in this explanation and I am far from an expert on the PR of TV-shows. 😝

The entertainment journalists that cover the show can't just write what they want. There are certain things they can or can't talk about to not give too much away. At the same time the networks do give out some information to journalists so they can hype up the show to the audience.

Like that time when all the journalists suddenly started using the phrase 'something has shifted' when it came to Buddie. It was obvious that this was something they had been told by ABC.

Well, just like that they could have gotten briefed that Eddie will be coming out in season 8. They obviously can't just come out and tell that to the audience, since that would spoil everything and it wouldn't be very professional of them. But they obviously know something, because they all seem very confident and they aren't shy anymore to breach the Buddie topic.

I usually don't care that much for face cards. I think a character can be attractive even if not beautiful in a conventional way . It all depends when certain energy you bring to the screen. And while I did have a huge crush on Matt on my team years because of Doctor Who.

I have to agree. 🤷

It all team feminism for them until their favourite war criminal does something horrible, and then, all is forgiven because they have a crush on them, even if is femicide.

Also, I think TG actors does have something about them that over shines TB actors. And more than looking good or not, they have chemistry and that you can't fake out. When I watched the interviews. Tb actors I get a huge energy of "we are coworkers and we are doing pr" meanwhile TG actors do have chemistry with each other and looks like they bonded in the bts and that is why I think hbo truly used them a lot to marketing this season. Is the same reason you always will find Gwendoline and Nikolaj back in the day doing interviews together.

And that show on screen too. What is not necessarily true. It was here. There is way more a sense of familiarity in tg even if disfuncional as hell, then Tb. Like, when you see Jace and Baela interacting do you believe you see two people that have grown up together and are in love with each other for years?

"Hob, may I ask you something?"

They were in the living room, as they almost always were in the evening, in their favorite position. Dream was lying on the sofa, his head resting on Hob's lap while Hob read aloud.

Hob replied softly, running a hand through his lover's disheveled hair, "I'm listening."

Dream said softly, "I'm surprised you don't have a pet as you strike me as a dog person. Haven't you ever wanted one?"

He felt Hob freeze for a moment, his fingers twitching slightly in his hair, but Hob didn't answer.

"Hob?" Dream called softly as he rolled over onto his back to look at his lover's face, where he was surprised to see a sad expression.

Concerned, he raised his hand and placed it on Hob's cheek, asking softly, "What's wrong?"

Hob, visibly overcome with emotion, replied, "Well, when you live as long as I do, you experience more separation, more loss than any other normal person. It's the same with pets. After my fourth dog died, I was so heartbroken that I didn't have the strength to bond with another one.

He shrugged, but Dream didn't fall for it, and he slid his hand over Hob's neck and straightened up to sit beside him. Then he wrapped his arms around Hob and held him tight, saying softly against his hair, "Oh Hob, my love, I'm so sorry. I was so tactless. I should have known."

Hob shook his head and replied in a muffled voice, "Don't apologize, you can't help it. It's my life and I chose it with full awareness of all of this."  

Once again Dream wondered how many times Hob had robbed himself of a human or canine or other bond just because being alone was more bearable than having his heart broken at every parting. 

But now that he was with him, Dream could change that, so he loosened his embrace, pulled Hob away a little, and asked gently, "If you had the chance to have a dog that would never die like you, would you want one?"

Although Hob looked like he was thinking about it, he couldn't hide the spark of excitement in his eyes at the idea, and Dream added with a slight smile on his lips, "If you're up for it, there's only one condition."

Hob frowned and asked, confused, "Which one?"

Dream brought his face close to Hob's and murmured, a mischievous gleam in his eyes, "I still want to be the one who gets petted the most."

Hob chuckled against his lips, "Idiot," before kissing him gently, and when he pulled away, he added, "Condition accepted. I don't want my kitten to get jealous."

Dream looked offended, "Your kitten? A little respect, please. I'm not a kitten, I'm-"

"Dream."

"What?"

"Shut up and kiss me."

Dream obeyed immediately, pressing his lips to those of Hob, who knew exactly how to tame his wildcat.

VoicePlay Visuals - what I got wrong (and other cool BTS stuff) (part 1/3)

So for those of you who still are unaware, I'm currently a member of VoicePlay's Patreon (and Geoff's too) (just for a few months), and I've been having an absolutely great time so far, especially in now having access to Behind-The-Scenes (BTS) content of each of VoicePlay's videos!

However, as I was whizzing through the BTS stuff, I was thinking about my VoicePlay Visuals posts, and about some things I said that weren't entirely true - whether I said something I believed to be correct that wasn't, or whether I simply made a wrong guess. I wanted to share my newfound knowledge with all of you (which is fine btw, people share this sorta stuff in the comments section of reaction videos all the time), but I didn't want to go back and edit a bunch of posts or reblog a bunch of them to add addendums, so I thought I'd do a sort of "addendum compilation" instead! (In three parts, just to keep these not too long). I'll also share some stuff where my guess was right, and additional interesting things I didn't originally know/notice. And you don't have to read a bunch of my previous VoicePlay Visuals posts before reading this (and I won't be mentioning every single post/video anyway), but if you wanna find the original posts I refer to, they're linked in each title.

This Is Halloween: "I don't really have anything to say about J's full transformation, but it would be unfair of me to not include him as well, and it's definitely a very impressive costume. Almost like one of those rubbery fully-covering-the-head costume mask things, but like it's his actual face?" - I was pretty close! For the "full Wolfman" look, J was wearing a special prostethic face/mask thing, specially sculpted to fit his face, with just his mouth/chin area left uncovered! - Additionally, Eli's fake chin prostethic thing actually also goes up and over his cheeks, making them look puffier and making them look puffier and "blending" it all together more effectively. - And bonus fun fact: It was apparently Earl who carved all those pumpkins, except for like one that was done by Geoff 😁

Bang!: - Found out what leopard-print article of clothing Layne was wearing! His belt is leopard-print, apparently! (Okay, I can't actually take credit for this one, someone in the comments of the BTS pointed it out and I took their word for it as I forgot to look myself, lol) - The place they filmed the video really did have all those cool backdrops, and so many more, split between two large rooms! - J was the one who got to throw the giant rubber duck at Layne 😝

Butter: "Geoff is looking at his phone, Layne is taking selfies on his phone!" - Not quite! They were both filming! (At one point in the video anyway). The footage they took got included in the BTS video, it's great 👌 - Also the reason the height difference between Layne and Eli in the group shots doesn't look quite as stark as in something like the Wicked Medley is because here Eli was standing on a short wooden box or something like that, not even kidding 😂

Halo Theme: "Those shoes are definitely cool. Who was wearing them, I wonder?" - It was Scott! - Also when that blue pulsating light thing landed on Scott's shoulder in the video (the "red team! blue team!" bit), there was actually a blue light being shone on him from the side to get the proper lighting effect. - (Also did you know that Rek Dunn (whom the video is dedicated to) used to help film some of the BTS content? I realised when I was watching the BTS for the Panic Medley that he was the one holding the camera and talking to the guys for some of the clips)

Wicked Medley: "Love the giant clock backdrop, very cool" - Yeah, turns out the whole background is one giant flat backdrop, and it took like 4 hours to full set up! Man!

"I adore Emoni and Rachel's makeup looks in this one." - The makeup looks even better in natural light! - All VoicePlay videos are filmed after the audio of the covers has been fully recorded/completed, obviously, duh. Often the vocallists will be properly singing at least some of their parts during videoshoots, but the audio all gets dubbed over for the final product. Rachel was purely lip-syncing in this video, because she had lost her voice! Thankfully/obviously it happened after she had finished recording her vocals, but she still did a great job of making it look "realistic" in the actual video.

The Dragonborn Comes: "Apparently what Cesar is wearing is like legit chainmail or something and was fairly heavy. Go big or go home I guess?" - Yep, it weighed 20 pounds apparently (approximately 9 kilograms). In between takes, Cesar would often just lie down on the floor on his back to try and rest/not have to feel so much of the weight, rip - The metal-looking gloves were real as well - they came coated in some sort of anti-rust oil that had to be wiped off prior to filming - And yeah Layne's hair really was a vibrant blue - I'm guessing Rick did it with coloured hairspray or something.

there's a pattern with jungkook that i've noticed is that he doesn't like getting forced to do shit. and if he's not enjoying something that he used to anymore, he'll just stop doing it. and many times tkkrs were to blame imo.

when jk started doing his gcf films it used to be enjoyable to film + edit his footage and he generally did it as a hobby for fun. but after namjoon told him to make one with tae to get more views (as if he does them for numbers) and how the company made it an ot7 strategy to promote bts content, jungkook quit doing them altogether because they weren't as honest anymore.

then on instagram jk used it first as something fun, he was playing Q&A with army on his insta stories and replied to comments saying "stop holding jimin i'm jealous of you" and "jimin is mine" by saying "are you jealous? keep being jealous i'll keep holding on to jiminie. blublublublu 😝" and "he's mine!" respectively. tkkrs started mass spamming him with the same thing about taehyung until he replied with "he's mine." (there was a difference in tone) then he stopped doing Q&A altogether. and then he deleted his insta feed and tried to make it look more polished and professional and gradually stopped using the app at all. until tae came and made him do the joint insta live this year, after which jungkook deleted his insta once and for all.

then on weverse, jk keeps watching jimin content, singing jimin's songs, and tkkrs just had to spam him about tae multiple times in a row ("where's taehyung?", "when are you going to live with taehyung?", "taehyung said he wants to do a karaoke live with you", "did you listen to tae's album yet", "play winter bear"), and he stopped doing lives when they most needed him to.

now he's on TikTok, liking and commenting on videos he chooses to interact with, tkkrs are spam tagging him under taekook sex fan art and tae's dance challenge with NJ because he commented under jimin's, watch him stop using tiktok soon and inevitably delete the account completely and stick to an anonymous one.

so in short, jungkook's pattern is: doing things he enjoys -> shippers/company ruins it for him -> he makes his personal joy a business (eg: changing his creative @'s to more professional ones) -> inevitably gets sick of it and deletes account/quits hobby.

I'm kinda sensing you are a Jkkr, since you make it seem like Jk only gets sick of things when it comes to comments about Tae.

I think what the main problem is, is that people are starting to make it a contest. And to Jk there is no contest between Jimin and Tae. Tae is his partner (imo) and Jimin is his friend. When fandom (shippers) start to pull for signs or hints, it is no longer enjoyable to Jk, because he does not want to share that much of himself. I know Jkkrs make the whole GCF’s as a reflection of Jk’s feelings.. but it’s not actually that deep imo. He shares his love for his members, but only superficially. Jk’s q&a was also just banter and superficial stuff. He likes banter, he likes being funny, he likes having fun with army. He does not like when people pry into his personal life. And that is what shippers (all shippers) do in his lives and now on his Tiktok.

Jkkrs are just as bad as Tkkrs in his comments. I would argue that a lot of non-shippers are just as bad in his comments as well.

I have heard both sides of this situation and I am aware of who's in the wrong. It's K.

K has been fabricating the whole thing to make herself look like the victim, she's left out massive details, some of which I was there for.

Don't look me in the eye, knowing I was there, and think I'm too stupid to remember what you did and that I will defend you for your shitty behavior. You're dead wrong.

I may not remember small things like what I ate the day before, but I'm definitely going to remember if you said something like "kill yourself" to someone or the fact that you tried to infiltrate the few things that bring me joy just to insult my efforts and make me as miserable as you.

I am not you. And I don't ever want to be you. Because you're miserable and instead of trying to be better, you try to drag people below the water to drown in your misery with you.

That is not a friend, yet you wore that mask for so long. Then you finally made the decision to shed that mask like a snake sheds its skin, and I find that you're an amazing actor and liar.

No, not a Jinkooker here! 😝 And don’t think it means anything other than he clearly calls someone (Jimin) ‘yeobo’ frequently enough to slip up. Just curious as to why you think it wouldn’t have been cut from official content (which it was in, right? correct me if wrong) because it certainly exposes that Jungkook has *somebody* special in his life!

The delulu in me thinks by having that on record, if Jungkook ever slips and calls Jimin that on something live, it can be discounted but… delulu?

JK calls Jin "Yeobo" (여보) (honey) Twice. Where he corrects himself afterwards to Hyung. I think all this shows is how close the two of them are. I don't think it hints that he slipped up and called Jin what he calls his partner. I don't think this proves he is dating Jin. I think this just proves what we all already know. Lol that BTS call each other pet names fairly consistently 😂 and the reason he corrected himself is because both of these times were in interviews where JK felt or looked more comfortable in them. But he corrected quickly to the more formal and polite "hyung" after he slipped because they are in a professional setting. It wasn't a causal place or time or thing, it was a professional interview about their work, and while they were still having fun and chill, polite speech is what you should use in a professional capacity such as this, which is where the correction came from.

And like I said, pet names between the members isn't anything new. I often very affectionately like to say that Jin is to JK what Tae is to Jimin. And the amount of pet names between vmin that they often use is, well its a lot. Lol not just soulmate, but your my angel, penicillin, little prince, etc etc etc. Or Hobi constantly refers to the maknae line as HIS baby's or HIS dolls.

And Jungkook calling Jimin Aegiya. Which is a more cuter and sweeter way of calling someone baby. Like term of endearment next level up baby wise, essentially like saying "babe" in English. And they have done this many times to each other.

Or when JK calls him Dangshin, which they other members have also used in reference to each other. This is basically a very formal "you" or a very informal "dear/darling" and considering the rest of speech used, it was leaning more towards informal

And I'll also just include this moment here, where during the 170226 fansign, JK was asked "what is Jimin's existence to you?" And JK replied "Honey❤"

When asked what they want to be called by their future girlfriends during a fansign, this what the boys all answered. Note JK/JM just want to be called Jimin-ah and Jungkook-ah here too. And how often JK drops honorifics with Jimin to just call him casually like that.

JK also said in the early years that he would want to call his future girlfriend Honey or Darling.

But basically what I'm saying here is that pet names is just bangtan together as a whole at this point. I don't think this is anything that can be used to define a relationship between members as its a group dynamic. So no, I don't think this is proof for Jinkook being boyfriend. I don't think this is proof of JK being in a relationship with anyone else and slipping up either, girlfriend, boyfriend, Jimin.... lol and everytime the members call each other pet names I think it's the cutest thing in the world, but it's not what makes me think one is in a relationship or not. And sometimes with certain pet names, context matters too.

I really love reading your blog. This is not a ask by the way. I have been an army for an year now. And these 7 men make me laugh with their hilarious humour in run episodes😂. Thanks to BTS I was able to laugh a bit in lockdown lmao. Let me rant lil bit now😝 I'm actually jimin biased and I just love that man and I have immense respect towards him. He can be a cute baby, caring brother, teasing friend, scolding parent. He can be one's comfort zone, laughter bomb, advisor, protector.... Ufffff. I didn't know why he was called sexy mochi but then I came to understand why😅 oh gosh!!! that guy has that duality. I seriously love seeing him hug members especially jin I just love the way jin just opens his arms to embrace jimin😍 and that duo in those two run episodes were lit. I can call them hugging duo (because I find their hugs extremely cute). I love how jimin bicker with suga and vice versa. They truly love pulling each other's legs😂(Tom and jerry). I love when hobi calls jimin jimin-ah everytime even in yesterday's run episode. I find it very cute and don't know why😉 I feel like jimin is kinda j-hope's baby🐥 (cute duo). I love how namjoon finds jimin cute everytime, I mean he's literally obsessed with jimin's cheeks🥰. I still remember him saying jimin's name when asked about pet in one interview (minimoni that's the cutest name any ship can have actually). I love his friendship with V. The bond they share with each other is something very rare and unique. I think jimin is his safe place. (Soulmates). And last but not the least, jungkook, I seriously don't want to name his relationship with him I mean I still get butterflies in my stomach while watching GCF in Tokyo. Those lyrics are so meaningful and for half part of the song I can even think okay this is for friend and not the other part of it. Trust me I have literally convinced so many times that it might be for a friend but why that that song!???!! Like literally there are hundreds of friendship songs.. forget it.. And yesterday, I laughed so much when jungkook was showing off his skills in making ramen (master of ramen😝)😂😂😂 and when he said to jimin "you know nothing" about taking water out first or something and that confused face of jimin sshi (poor jiminie)🥰 I'm a low-key jikooker and I don't know whether they are real couple or not but honestly their chemistry can actually confuse their own girlfriends or boyfriends if they have any.

hi! I just wanna tell you that DEAR M IS LOSER JAEHYUN'S ERA. Lol kidding aside. I noticed that he was kinda stiff (idk if thats the right word) and that his actions are kind of awkward. The little twitch over here and there... some quirks i do when i feel awkward. He does that when he's not even at the center. Like you'll notice how awkward he felt at that moment. But dont get me wrong i love jaehyun sm. I just feel like he can do more if he's given a chance to star in another drama. ALSO he's a good kisser (on screen). I didnt gasp when i saw him raise his shirt and the camera zoomed in his abs bcos come on thats a normal occurrence in ncity. But ppl only talked about how he looked good (thats given GIVEN) and all stuff. I barely see any post on twt about his skills.

improvisation makes me think is something that might be good for jaehyun during those “i’m not the main focus” moments. i think lots of people well known or beginning should take improve classes every now and then to learn/refresh their skills! plus i think it would be super fun! sorta like what they did when they were the college students he’s pretty quick on his feet when people give him a chance to get his thoughts together; and witty too 😊

what you said about his twitching/quirks reminded me of that. i for sure (despite not having watched it) think if given more than one chance he'll be able to grow comfortable enough during those in between moments ^^

i'm like terrified for winwin and yuta's acting debuts. people who are fans of yuta seem to have all these high expectations but from the trailer i'm like "eh, reminds me of Gokusen but edgier" lol i love yuta but i'm expecting it's going to be him glaring daggers (which he's amazing at doing already), the typical japanese tough school boy/tough guy growl (idk how they do this when they talk but i secretly love it), then proceed into a fight scene where the camera work is about about a C+ where you can clearly see no actual physical contact happened 🤣 but this is such a great opportunity for yuta and it’s like FINALLY he gets a chance to shine on his own and for winwin...like winwin is secretly my spirit animal 😊 but i'm not expecting much from him. he doesn't really "emote/react" that much when around the nct members and with wayv (though i did see laughing, talking, etc. more) it doesn't make me think like 'yeah he's going to be a decent actor" but he looks like he's having so much fun and that's all i care about ^^ when you do something you love and have fun doing it you’re not actually “working” so winwin fighting!
