I don't consider it babyifying more realizing the situation these characters were in and understanding the complexity of their choices. I always mention that Curly should've done more but the solutions people give aren't realistic at best or ignoring the plots and themes entirely at worse.

A lot of takes do act as if Curly wasn't guilty at all but I try to talk about the parallel of that tragedy between Jimmy, Curly and Anya, the difference between good intentions and ignorance along with trying to explain view points of characters we don't get. I don't think Curly did anything in his inaction about Anya out of malicious intent but inaction and misguided intent. It's how he parallels Jimmy who was genuinely menacing and tormenting her.

I don't know why people act like Curly should be punished further in the story. The game centers around his torture and dehumanization at the hands of Jimmy so he finally understands what Anya went through and couldn't escape. I don't strip him of the wrongs for enabling Jimmy and not protecting Anya but I do explore the deeper reason in his thinking and he's not characterized as intentional malicious, but just too focused on the wrong aspects.

I just dont understand making something so grey black and white when it comes to Curly's effectiveness as a friend/protector to Anya and a friend/enabler to Jimmy, but people tend to forget the form part of that statement.

Case #0: Batman

Case #1: Nightwing

Dick Grayson obtained his vision at age ten, two years after Batman took him in. His intense feelings drove him to go behind his mentor's back, tracking down his parents' killer and hatching a plan to eliminate him.

As he stood over the cowering man, gun in hand as Zucco begged for his pathetic life, his finger tensed and relaxed over the trigger of the gun. A purple glow shone. Till now, he does not know if it was an appeasement or an order from the gods.

A few moments later, Batman arrived to find his ward with a gun and vision in his hand. Despite this, Tony Zucco was still breathing.

Case #2: Red Hood

Jason Todd was captured and tortured in a warehouse in Qurac by Joker. After sustaining severe injuries, he was tied up and left with a ticking time bomb beside him.

Perhaps, as the bomb ticked to its final second, Jason had thought that Batman had forsaken him. That he had lost his father. However, even the bright cyan energy that suddenly emitted could not save him from his fiery fate.

Jason Todd was buried with a grey anemo vision.

Case #3: Batgirl

Cassandra has no vision. Perhaps she might have had one before, David Cain was never a big fan of magic given by the gods.

Case #4: Red Robin

Tim Drake had been training under Batman to take the mantle of Robin. It was a late night, Batman was out on patrol and Tim was burying himself in case files. Unfortunately, he had fallen asleep in the mess.

When Batman returned, he was greeted by a green glow and it was then that he knew Tim was destined to be the world's greatest detective.

Case #5: Spoiler

Stephanie Brown was young when she acquired her vision. She had walked into one of her father's nefarious crimes. Of course she was afraid, it was only natural.

But as she sat in her bedroom in the quiet of the night, she swore to spoil her father's plans. The next day, she found a glowing purple jewel under her bed along with a purple hood.

Case #6: Robin

Damian Wayne was stubborn, naive and... forgiving. In the end, it was his love for his mother that ended his life. Not many understood but Batman did.

That was why he was so enraged when he found Damian's letter, it was lit by a cold blue light. The cryo vision was dim but not grey, almost mocking him with his son's death.

Rage bubbled inside as Batman took his frustrations out, it was only overtaken by guilt at the sight of fractures in the precious ornament. The light flickered before extinguishing.

Ooc; I really tried to change my game to the chinese dub because some characters are portrayed more accurately to the idea I have of them in that language, or, at least, some voices seem to fit a few characters better, in my opinion. But do you wish to know why I am not capable of fully making the change from the english dub to chinese dub and committing to it?

I don't know what Josey was cooking and still continues to cook inside that recording booth, but english dub Kaeya to me is simply peak Kaeya. Remains undefeated to this day.

How could he ever be afraid of it? Fire reminds him of home, after all.

It reminds him of the scorching sun in the summer, the perfect time to visit the beach and collect seashells.

of the day Diluc received his vision. It was a joyous occasion for the entire family. It was a proof that Diluc is a step closer to becoming a captain in the knights.

He'd pair up with Amber on missions occasionally. He enjoys teasing and pranking her. The work is far more entertaining when she's around.

He'd spend the time helping Bennett with using his sword. He'd even join him on adventures to make sure he's safe if he could spare the time for the young adventurer.

He adores Klee so much that it hurts. He loves babysitting her and caring for her. He wants to keep her fire safe from the horrors of the adult world for as long as possible.

And no matter how unrecognizable his relationship with Diluc now seems to be, in the remains of that one tragic day, he still gravitates towards him. Frequent visits to Angel's Share and Dawn Winery by his choice, and when fate is feeling playful, they'd get pitted with each other, as if they were fated to be doomed together.

So no, Kaeya is definitely not afraid of fire at all...

...he worries that he loves it a bit too much, actually.

He worries that the words of his birth father stuck to his mind like a leech. He worries that the allure of the feeling of warmth would someday burn him to a crisp. He worries he'd throw himself into the fire if it means to keep that fire burning.

His cryo vision just makes him ache for the flames even more.

With growing horror, he realizes that he'd willingly face the fire time and time again.
