Ooc; I really tried to change my game to the chinese dub because some characters are portrayed more accurately to the idea I have of them in that language, or, at least, some voices seem to fit a few characters better, in my opinion. But do you wish to know why I am not capable of fully making the change from the english dub to chinese dub and committing to it?

I don't know what Josey was cooking and still continues to cook inside that recording booth, but english dub Kaeya to me is simply peak Kaeya. Remains undefeated to this day.

Kaeya is not afraid of fire.

How could he ever be afraid of it? Fire reminds him of home, after all.

It reminds him of the scorching sun in the summer, the perfect time to visit the beach and collect seashells.

of the nights when he and Diluc would sneak around the mansion, way past their bedtime, with only a single candle to help them see.

of the day Diluc received his vision. It was a joyous occasion for the entire family. It was a proof that Diluc is a step closer to becoming a captain in the knights.

Even after being faced by the fury and power of that said vision, pyro, he still approaches fire, like a moth to a flame.

He'd pair up with Amber on missions occasionally. He enjoys teasing and pranking her. The work is far more entertaining when she's around.

He'd spend the time helping Bennett with using his sword. He'd even join him on adventures to make sure he's safe if he could spare the time for the young adventurer.

He adores Klee so much that it hurts. He loves babysitting her and caring for her. He wants to keep her fire safe from the horrors of the adult world for as long as possible.

And no matter how unrecognizable his relationship with Diluc now seems to be, in the remains of that one tragic day, he still gravitates towards him. Frequent visits to Angel's Share and Dawn Winery by his choice, and when fate is feeling playful, they'd get pitted with each other, as if they were fated to be doomed together.

So no, Kaeya is definitely not afraid of fire at all...

...he worries that he loves it a bit too much, actually.

He worries that the words of his birth father stuck to his mind like a leech. He worries that the allure of the feeling of warmth would someday burn him to a crisp. He worries he'd throw himself into the fire if it means to keep that fire burning.

His cryo vision just makes him ache for the flames even more.

With growing horror, he realizes that he'd willingly face the fire time and time again.

U mean U and the others (unholy trinity of Tsaritsa simps) did drag me down a wormhole of oc-ing an existing character with lore and yet still making it adapt to your fic.

in my defense her lore is extremely vague descriptions by other people (who may be biased. staring directly at childe. staring very hard at childe.) and like. the gem description im just working with what i got. also i don't trust hoyo to write my wife correctly so as far im concerned anything they write abt her isn't canon until i approve it /j

Screeching at myself;;;; trying to get guaranteed Wriosthesley in Genshin because he is hot and also because I've been waiting for a cryo/catalyst to appear forever [cryo is my favourite element because I have always been The Ice Bitch and it's pretty, and catalyst is my favourite since it's the closest to magic. Yes I know the irony of that, with Bronwen being a claymore user, bUT I ALSO LIKE BIG SWORDS]

And in that quest, I got a handful of blue wishes [for the permanent banner] and did a ten wish on the Hu Tao banner [I already got Neuvillette so I'd rather also get Hu Tao by mistake lol], the weapon banner and the standard banner.... my haul has me BAFFLED;;;

-On the Hu Tao banner, I received a Qiqi constellation, giving me the Wriothesley guarantee for when he soon appears.

-Mika on the weapon banner, please note I have never got him before

-Freminet and Tighnari on the standard banner, both of which are new to me as well.

Then later I used two other freebie blue wishes I got and received a constellation of pretty cat girl Lynette.

Considering all the cryo... this feels like a sign from the Genshin gods.

I have this really strong urge to write a full on analysis of the Genshin vision criteria but I don’t have all the characters and really don’t feel like reading through how the characters got their visions.

Also wouldn’t help much with the current reason why I wanna do this because I already have a solid enough idea on most of the vision criteria but then the one I’m most curious on(Dendro), we only have like two playable characters of so it wouldn’t be of much help.  Considering the amount of variance in most of the other stories of characters gaining visions, I doubt the experience of two dendro users will help in the overarching ideals of the archon who gave them out. I do have some theories though on Dendro, they’re a little messy and mixed up at the moment and I’m having a difficult time wording things the way I want so I’m struggling to get them more concise.

Anywho, I may at some point do this and it will probably be several paragraphs long so if anyone decides to stick around and read that when I decide to do it, I’m sorry(Especially since I only write in run-ons lmao).
