PJSK HAS A WEIRDLY LOW NUMBER OF ACTUALLY WINTERY SETS... like 3. kind of.#i have some thumbnail sketches but im kind of stumped on composition for them. my idea was a nene focus set#(IF HER NEXT FOCUS ISNT PHANTOM OF THE OPERA THEMED INWILL DIE. BADLY. THEYRE GOING TO AN OPER AHOUSE. PLEADBR)#originally my idea was for nene to be biting a medal i was very sold on it bc i love nenes competitive side#however her outfit is so nice i want it to also be part of the art .. its heavily inspired by that one iconic eunsoo lim dress#from her somewhere in time program iirc. im really undatisfied with emus dress tbh my origimal idea was to give it a phoenix look#but a lot of the firebird/phoenix skating programs have very sleek dresses and i want emus to be fluffy. the balance is hard ..#and since i want her program song to be once upon a dream from sleeping beauty i swerved to make it look a bit like auroras ? but again#it definitely feels like the weakest of everybodys ... maybe i just love her too much and want her to look the best. sorry wxs.#tsukasas outfit is supposed to look like a shooting star. easy. program music moonlight sonata 3rd movement like from dazzling light. easy.#actually i like takahashi daisukes moonlight sonata program its a medley of the 1st and 3rd movement.. i think the calm at the beginning#is best. maybe smth like that.. for his card inhad him doing a haircutter spin but again. the outfits good i want the outfit visible. damn.#ruis the one im very set on even now. girl why are you so phantom of the opera.#it has a lot of beautiful programs to reference but the outfit i didnt really have any solid reference i kind of just balled#my main idea was to make it look a bit like both christine and the phantom.... gender Fluid.#my yapfest... i should be SEWING!!!!!!!!#despite my yapping im not that well versed in figure skating i cant really distinguish jumps i just like it . and medalist#i only do normal skating. bc i played hockey for like 7 years LOLLLL inlove skating though Heart.

Opening a post of someone on here asking for skincare recs and seeing every single one suggested either fall under “company that directly states their support for israel” or “company that does business with israel” was very jarring, are you guys seriously limiting yourselves to the bds list and “there is no ethical consumption under capitalism” excusing yourself for every other thing you buy? Like the bds list is the bare MINIMUM. You’re bare minimum-ing your support for divesting from an apartheid state & limiting your financial impact for the continuation of the genocide against Palestinians? Your skincare routine is not more important than other people’s literal lives.

Need someone to invent a machine that takes the ideas from my head and put them on paper for me when I'm in the shower or trying to fall asleep. I would get *so* much more writing done if my brilliant shower and pre-sleep inspirations were taken straight from the source.
#its insane how much a shower helps clear my mind and fills so many plot holes#'well just write them down when you get out ita not that hard' 🥴#yeah that works when im solving like a programming issue or whatever#but for some reason when it comes to writing all that beautiful and smooth prose just goes *poof* the second that shower goes off#like if i dont get it down the moment it hits when im in the shower than its basically gone for good#bed is almost the same#only difference there is that i can just roll over and grab a notebook or my computer if the inspiration hits that hard#like the entire first chunk of baby its cold outside and my smut fic where written cause i just couldnt get the ideas out of my head#so 3am writing session it was!#problem with that one is that well i kinda need the sleep if i want to show up to work in a vague semblance of awareness lol

interesting how the internet archive has the eagle of the ninth as a tv series from the seventies and as a radio program from 2010 and as the full text of the book in FRENCH... but not the original book :(
#slightly belated summer of sutcliff#INTERNET ARCHIVE LET ME SEE MY BOYS#also the radio one is Weird... doesn't have that subtlety and beauty of the book really at all#then again the 70s one doesn't really either but it's also got low-budget charm and the most doe-eyed marcus ever#thirteen minutes into the radio program and esca just showed up (and I Love esca of course) but also I cannot deal with these accents#now I'm wondering if the pronunciation of cunoval as 'ka-NO-val' is the commonly used one? as well as aquila with the hard 'kw'#but then again latin in my own experience has had a lot of variation between speakers... I've been saying it as aquila with more 'kee'#but it's not like I ever talk eotn with people irl :/#aaaaaanyway. I want to reread some sutcliff right now but I don't have hard copies of anything on hand#and if I reread bonnie dundee right now I think it would harm me. hugh herriot a little too close to my heart to talk about ever.#sigh. guess I'll ask the public library and then be so very patient. this radio show is harming me but not in a cool nice way.

i visited a Kimono club at the big university in my city today!! students from Japanology visit it and since i'm in contact with some of them i got told about it😆💕 that was so nice, i learned how to put on a Yukata and fold the bowknot by myself!!💖 turned out pretty good as well hehe now i can come there every week👀 and after everyone was ready we had a green tea & snack round<3 im just so excited about it,,
