"What is going on, Bryce?!", the blindfolded Luna asked him as he led her into the Graveyard Shift.

"It’s a surprise, Lunes! Your Christmas present tonight.", Bryce whispered into her ear.

When they stopped, he carefully removed the blindfold infront of Luna’s eyes. Her blue eyes adjusting the light infront of her.

A beautifully decorated Christmas tree was standing in the middle of their living room and several presents were lying under it.

"So many presents?"

"Correctly noticed. And they're all for you. Every single one of them."

"But you didn't had to. One would have been enough.", her blue eyes met his warm gaze.

"I know, but... Uhhh, I couldn't decide which one, so I got you all.", he answered which made her laugh. Bryce Lahela was the most sweetest and kind person ever. He would do anything for her. His love.

Excitedly Luna Auclair sat on the floor and began to open her several Christmas presents one by one like a happy, little child. New shoes, a pair of flamingo sunglasses, an umbrella, headphones and even more...

"Ahhhhh, Bryce. So many presents and there are more than 15 presents which still need to be opened.", she squeaked while admiring the 5th Christmas gift which was a brand new snowboard.

"Glad you love them, Lunes. I hope you don't forget to give my Christmas present.", he reminded her.

Luna mischevously grinned at him, asked him to wait in the livingroom as she left in her bedroom. After a few minutes, she returned back to her boyfriend while wearing a hot olive-green dress. Her favorite color which sparked with positivity and good vibes only. A big red bows elegantly wrapped around her body, like the ones around Christmas presents.

"What's that, Lunes?", he couldn't hide his smile.

"Oh Bryce... Don't you understand? I'm your Christmas present.", she answered in a seducive tone and winked.

"Oh, ho-ho-ho... I love it!!! Can't wait to open it. Best present ever, Lunes.", he moved closer and planted a kiss on her cheek.

"Thanks Bryce, love you too. And I'm sorry. You bought so many presents for me... It feels like my Christmas present is nothing."

"Oh, no no no... I love it!!! I find your present the best of all, Luna. I just couldn't decide which one to buy for you, so I took them all.", he confessed which made Luna laugh.

"Love you Bryce."

"Love you too, Lunes. My Looney."

Found stashed away on the top shelf of my maternal grandmother's second closet, is a gorgeous gift from a Toshiba employee (my maternal grandfather worked with the company) and friend-of-the-family from Japan in 1984. The stunning box is handmade (as the air-mailed letter attests), and includes a slanted interior meant to cradle the sparkly, beaded handbag with an avian theme (perhaps a phoenix?). It is in excellent condition, lined in cream-colored satin; likely never used. We've decided that my youngest cousin who studied in Japan should have it. Whether or not he will be into it, we don't know. Tragically, the friend who gifted the box and purse to my grandmother drank himself to death in his mid-forties. And, yes, he spelled Sally with an R.

Cats! I think this turned out super cute! Worked up pretty fast, too, surprisingly.

I am trying a new brand of yarn (alize: Diva) to see how it works out. Overall, I like it and will likely continue using it in the future.
