random but u gotta know whenever u use the term beastie it makes me crack up ive been laughing for DAYS i’ll forget then genuinely remember and it lifts my mood ty!

I love saying beastie. Sometimes you look at a creature and you go "Yeah you're just a little beastie."

Also I think it's a funny/endearing term for the more weird cod characters. Having Nikto call his darling "beastie" feels right to me, it's absolutely loving but also feels very him. Also also calling any animal beastie is just right to me, they are little beasts

Perhaps predictably, I've found my new favorite obscure D&D 3.5 monster (converted into 5e by this gentleman in the vid).

If you like tabletop monsters as much as I do, I also greatly recommend Dungeon Dad, since I'm showing you one of his videos! He converts monsters from all over into D&D5e and works to make all of them mechanically distinct and interesting, while also going over the history (in and out of universe) of each monster, tactics they may use in battle, and adventure hooks for DMs using these monsters.

But spoken from toxic tongues and brittle teeth, of those who perhaps didn't understand you, and perhaps never will.

Lay them down, and give yourself the air to breathe.

Unclentch your jaw, relax your shoulders.

Give yourself the grace to be imperfect.

To try and fail, to grow and feel.

And give yourself the words that you have wished to be spoken to you.

Words thay say, you are doing your best. And it's okay to have off days. It's okay to not have everything neatly packaged and tied up with a bow.

Remember to look back, and see how far you've come. You've been through a lot of battles, and wear many scars.

As just a little voice in your head, a little self reflection, remember that I love you. And please remember, that I am on your side.
