What would happen if the darling used to work at a job that frankly didn’t care about them at all. When they started to work for the Smiley Corporation (by extension the Yandere CEO) they were shocked that a CEO was an actual kind person?

The CEO would be genuinely disgusted. Yes, yes, he's a billionaire and therefore is up to be eaten soon do to exploitation, but still...How could you be so mistreated? He demands to know your old location, your old bosses and coworkers, and politely asks over lunch if you miss them or would miss them. When you catch on to his "joke" you kindly ask he stay behaved, and well, He has a hard time saying no to you! So, he'll back off on his other methods (for now) but he drags that companies name as long as he can.

When he sees how capable and strong you are, he's a bit lost as to why they have an issue in the first place. You get more than enough done. Why push farther than that? See, its people like your old boss that are ruining the market! Good thing he's here to...Make everyone smile.
