Just a few random music taste headcannons nothing big I'm just bored

Emma is a "listen to anything the people around her listen to" type bc she's a people pleaser. She likes subgenre metal the most, though, especially having an interest in Twisted Sisters and Rammstein. She got it from her mom <3

Reggie listens to mostly post-70s indie pop. They also still keep all of their music on cassette tapes (no matter how much Emma is trying to get them a spotify acc). Kate Bush, The Smith, Aztec Camera, and Sonic Youth their notable favourites.

Henry chronically only listens to the same music as Reggie. He tried finding other stuff he likes, but most of it ended up being 70s pop-punk. Everyone bullies him for having the music taste of a gay Ford commercial.

Snow is super into oldies female-led metal like Joan Jett, Halestorm, Alice Cooper, The Runaways, etc. Though she doesn't listen to music very often - only when she needs to calm down or she's drinking with Ruby.

Charming likes divorced mom country and nothing else.

Ruby used to like a lot of club music during the curse and would just go what whatever's popular at the time. After the curse broke, it took a long time for her to find other things she liked. She later started listening to more rap while jogging, and she's pretty fond of Doechii and Megan Thee Stallion these days.

Rumple would rather jump off a bridge than turn the radio on in his car, UNLESS it's Belle's music. He's a strong audiobook guy.

Belle enjoys 70s rock like Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Fleetwood Mac, etc. She thinks it's nice bc it's stimulating, and bass is cool. Absolutely nobody believes her when she says she likes it though.

Hook says he won't listen to anything that isn't a sea shanty, but Emma has a video of him singing and dancing along to the Reputation Era.

Neal exclusively listens to local bands with like 3 monthly listeners on Spotify that make the shittiest rap-metal you can imagine. He's not allowed anywhere near an aux chord bc people are scared of his taste.

short summary: You're Rumple and Belle's daughter that was taken and don't have any memory of them or any family while in Storybrooke a couple months after the curse broke.

Feeling the wind blow against your face, you walk briskly down the sidewalk, your heeled boots making a quiet sound against the concrete. The curse had broken over the town a couple months ago. It’s been pretty quiet since then, with everyone remembering and reconciling with their loved ones. Except you. You have no one. You never had.

You grew up in the woods of the enchanted forest your entire life until it came to when you turned 16 and the magical abilities you’ve always inhabited went haywire, made you stop aging. So really, the aging being stopped, mixed with the curse of 28 years, you’re technically around 50 years old. Though your mentality stopped growing, along with your physical appearance from no longer aging.

Your life growing up wasn’t the best. Being real, it was traumatic having no one but yourself to rely on all throughout your life. In an unironic turn of events, the cursed life you lived also had you living with no one to rely on, no fake friends or family, only fake memories of always being alone. Which wasn’t that surprising when you woke back up with all your actual memories. But, hey, at least you were living in a nice apartment instead of the woods, and you still reside there. No more hunting for food or building shelter every other day.

Except there’s one problem. So far, you haven’t had any run in with the saviour or the evil queen (who, thankfully, has chilled and relaxed a lot, becoming more likable to everyone in the town), or anyone else in their group. But the last good week and a half, you’ve been having a feeling of someone or multiple someones following you. And every time you went to check it out, one or multiple of them were always around. It caused you to be suspicious. More than you’ve ever been in this town.

Over the week and a half, you written and clocked out everyone who has been around continuously whenever you had the feeling of being followed. It consists of; Emma Swan – the savior, Regina Mills – The Evil Queen and mayor, Mary Margaret Blanchard – Snow White and ex science teacher, David Nolan – Prince Charming, Killian Jones – Captain Hook, Neal Cassidy – Emma’s ex? (All you really know about him is that he came from New York and he and Emma clearly know each other like that), Belle French, and Mr. Gold – Rumpelstiltskin.

Why they’ve been following you? You don’t want to know, only want them to lose interest in you and find someone else to creepily stalk. It’s not like you’ve done anything wrong in the last couple weeks, not really. This is what you think about while walking along the sidewalk, passing by both run down and lively buildings.

once upon a timeline

okay so i've been obsessed with ouat recently with my rewatch and i was looking into Henry's weird ass family tree and oh my god i need to put this out there because why.

for starters i've only included big plot points or villains and main characters etc so none of the side plots but also i've realised how weird some of the age gaps are.

oh yeah also ouat likes to fuck with their timelines and historical context so i have gone with the basic dates that make sense based on what the characters in the show actually say.

the dates are what they would be in the real world not in ouat logic.

pre-main timeline

Ancient Greece - zeus and hades happen (season 6)

ancient greece but later - orpheus and Euridice and pandora's box happen

between 400-500AD - the Holy Grail and Merlin and Nimue

1650's-1660's - Mother Gothel leaves the new land without magic

1770- Malcolm is Born

1804- Rumplestiltskin is born, Malcolm is 34

1808- Rumple is abandoned, Peter Pan becomes a fae trickster tumblr meme

1845- Baelfire is born, Rumple is 41

1859- Bae arrives in england, Rumple is 55

1947- Zelena is born and abandoned

1948- Cora and Rumple have their weird affair

1949- Regina is born

1955- Snow White is born

1973- Regina sends the huntsman after snow, Snow is 18, Regina is 24

23/3/1977 - Neal (Bae) chooses this as his fake birthday

22/10/1983 - Emma is born, the curse is cast

1991 - Neal escapes neverland and comes back to the land without magic

15/8/2001 - Henry is born, Emma is 18, Neal Cassidy is 24

22/10/2011 - Emma arrives in Storybrooke

so some of the dates are based on when episodes aired and things such as when the curse breaks and when emma arrives in storybrooke. other dates are based on easter eggs in the show like Neal's birthday. so i realised that Neal had to have landed back in the real world in 1991 because he was 14 when he got to neverland and obviously didn't age so working backwards those dates make sense.

however... emma was 17 when she got pregnant with henry and at best Neal is 24 but at worst he's 156 years old! i mean what the fuck. and he has to be that old because he tells Emma that technically "I should be a couple hundred by now" (2,15). so at the oldest he can be with Neal's Once upon a time maths education the earliest he can be born is 1845 because big ben isn't built until 1859 which is the absolute earliest that he can be in old england.

the rest of the dates i managed from working backwards from when the curse was broken and cast and from small things the characters say. In the first episode of season 2, Emma says that her and Mary Margaret were the same age which means that the 10 year war she has with regina that ended with the curse started when she was 18.

so what i've found from this is that Henry's family tree back to his paternal great grandad literally spans hundreds of years. the average life span for these fuckers is about 100. basically they're a family of elves and you can't convince me otherwise.

When i watched Kevin Pearson, his sister Kate, his adopted Brother Randall and his mother Rebecca and they argue about it when they were at the terapist It remind that Emma Swan, Henry Mills, Rumpelstilskin and Bealfire when they meets on Manhattan and they made a drama argue. So in both of that series especially season two It was a tension because in the seasons three they reveals the dark secret, like Peter Pan that It was Rumpelstilskin's father and Stanley Pearson, the grandfather of Kevin, was on Korean War(i don't know Which season was, or three, that It reveals only Vietnam War and that Korean War was mentioned by Stanley, or in six where we see Stanley went on Korean War that in Once Upon a Time season six reveals that Fiona the Black Fairy was the mother of Rumpelstilskin with Peter Pan as we saw Peter Pan that It was Rumpelstilskin's father in once Upon a Time season three)

Those series were obscene! They should to made adapt very well, the fairytale while another they should made more funny because of Mandy Moore that She voice Rapunzel?!

Secret Santa Headcanons

Hey my lovelies, back with another Christmas Headcanon! Credit to cafekitsune for the banner and the divider!

🎅When Neal pulls you from the hat, he's excited and quickly overwhelmed because he's terrified of messing your gift up.

🎅He wants to get you the perfect Christmas gift. He doesn't know where to begin. He wants to get you something you'll want and something you'll like.

🎅For weeks, Neal goes around attempting to locate the perfect gift. Every time he thinks he knows what he's going to buy you, he changes his mind.

🎅This is new territory for Neal as he's never struggled to buy a gift before. He either brought someone whatever they've asked for. When he's done Secret Santa, he's usually brought the individual some chocolate or a gift card.

🎅Neal can't ask anyone for advice otherwise it would give the game away.

🎅The day of the gift exchange Neal's nervous about presenting the gift. Everyone has gathered around the presents under the tree. Everyone then begins taking turns.

🎅When it's your turn, Neal's on edge. He's watching your reaction intently. Trying to see if you're thrilled or displeased.

🎅Neal's relieved when you react well. He can now breathe a sigh of relief and reveal himself to be your secret Santa without feeling embarrassed.

OUTER BANKS SEASON 4 SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT!!

Ok, so now that JJ is dead, NO ONE can. convince me that Riara WON'T happen in season 5 AND LET ME TELL Y'ALL WHY.

First of all, their chemistry has been there from the start. You could feel it even in season 1, and if you say otherwise, you're lying. They’ve given us so many moments—both direct and indirect interactions.

Have you noticed that when Rafe talks about Kiara, he uses her full name, but when he addresses her directly, it's ALWAYS and ONLY "Kie"?

THAT LOOK??? ARE Y'ALL SERIOUSLY GOING TO DENY THAT LOOK?

Also, remember in season 1, when Pope and Kiara talked, and Pope brought up her "Kook Year"? She reacted badly to that, and considering she was Sarah's best friend back then, a possible fling between Rafe and Kiara could've easily happened and is HEAVILY IMPLIED.

When Rafe picks fights with the Pogues, he never really targets Kiara aggressively(I mean yes he does almost choke her and tries to down her in the sewers but ykwim).For example, in season 1, he pulls her away from Barry, saying she was not the one they were looking for.

And these are only moments from the FIRST SEASON! The fact that are only those present in the first season and some of you still don't believe this ship leaves me flabbergasted.

Their strongest moment was definitely in season 3 with an entire arc of them together in Barbados.

ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT MEANT NOTHING?

Now, yes, Rafe met Sofia and dated her in season 3, but tbh it never felt genuine. Rafe is a twisted man, and it seemed like she was just a replacement for the family he lost. Rafe needs someone whom he can prove himself to, to encourage and love him, partly to prove he can be like Ward, another twisted man who always managed to keep his family together and placed his family first (at least according to his disturbed vision) . Now that he feels "betrayed" by Sofia, I doubt we’ll see her again.

ALSO THE RIARA MOMENTS IN THIS SZN WEREN'T GONE AT ALL, THEY WERE ON FULL FORCE.

Call me crazy if you want, but I genuinely believe Riara will become canon. It might even be part of the reason they decided to kill off JJ. Yes, Rudy Pankow didn’t want to continue on the show, but remember that interview where Carlacia said Cleo and JJ were supposed to be a couple? I don’t think Jiara was in the plan from the start; it happened mostly because of fans.

I’m not happy with how they handled this season, and I’ll probably talk about that in another post. I’m definitely NOT happy with JJ’s finale, but I’m excited about this likely-to-happen Riara pairing. And I don't know If It's just me but I'm noticing the writers seem to be pushing a potential redemption arc for Rafe, which I don’t fully approve of—but who knows, that could be another hint for Riara?

Side note: If you were in the OUAT fandom in the 2013/2014 I'm telling this is like the Bealfire-Emma-Hook love triangle. Like we all liked I hope Baelfire, but from the SECOND we saw Hook, we all knew Neal was supposed to go. Change my mindddd

Hey, Im Elias Arora, and you might of guessed it. I'm the son of Rumplestiltskin, also knows as Mr Gold, he owns the town I live in called Storybrooke. My mother is unknown and not in my life.

I'm 18, and the brother of Gideon, who's alive, and Bealfire, also knows as Bea or Neal, he's dead.

I know snow white, Prince charming also called David, Granny, Red, Henry who's Emma's kid, Emma who's the daughter of Snow and David, I also know Killian. He's captain hook and dating Emma.

For context, all fairytale characters exist. They all got put in a curse by the evil queen, who's name is Regina, but shws changed now and a friend. To save everyone from the curse Emma got sent through a magic wardrobe like right as she was born! An when she turned 28 it begun. Henry brought her to storybrooke to save the happy endings. Emma didn't believe him, later, she was about to leave town when Regina gave her something to put her under a sleeping curse, Henry ate it instead. We saved him and everyone's memories were restored. Then more weird and crazy, unbelievable stuff happened, but I don't have time to explain that.

Anyway, welcome to my life.

I’ve been thinking thoughts. And even though I loooooove the idea of the descendants kids being captain swan I’ve been thinking of an au of a sorts.

Imagine Harriet and Harry being Milah’s. Like the implications?

Harriet and Harry most likely being hidden when Rumple crushed Milah’s heart. Probably Harriet hearing everything and remember everything because she is older.

Milah, on the other hand, feeling disconnected with them because she felt guilty about leaving bealfire.

And it would make sense you know because in Harriet’s canon, she had to grow up faster because she was parentified since a young age, to a point she was forced to take care the kids of the pirates. Not just her siblings. Every. Single. Pirate. Kid.

And yes, Harriet is mean spirited sometimes but she cares about them. She is also, canonically the favorite and Harry just wants to make his father proud but it’s constantly left in the shadows of Harriet.

And if you translate that to OUAT, Harry could be in the shadow of Bealfire. And Harriet had to parent Harry because Killian was just too consumed by revenge.

The kids are Hook’s clones in terms of physically. And that’s a blessing because Killian could always say he had them with any woman. A way to protect them from Rumple but at the same time, he can’t help searching for Milah in them.

Imagine if Rumple finds out about them, maybe Killian hide them in Neverland just aaaaaaa too many options for angst.

And then exploring the relationship of them with Emma.

Rumple’s POV

Stumbling against a tree in the woods I hated not having magic to help me walk. I had gotten quite used to having it back in my life. But it hurts more to know that it has consumed the love of my life instead. She doesn’t deserve to let it drag her down. “Merida: Don't think about running. With that limp, you wouldn't make it 10 feet. Pick up the bloody sword and let's make a hero of you.”

I stutter to the curly red headed girl. “But I-I can barely stand, much less fight someone.”

She drops her sword looking around until she found a tree limb she cut making me a walking stick. “Now you can stand. All a man needs is a sword and one good hand. You've got both, so pick it up.”

“Look, t-this is useless. If she wants me to pull Excalibur, then... then let me try. When I fail, she can move on.” I scoff when she knocks the sword from my other hand.

Merida rolls her eyes at me. “When you fail, there's no moving on. You turn to dust.”

Shaking my head I didn’t understand why my wife was so concerned with pulling a sword from a rock. “What do you care what happens to me?”

“I don't! I care what happens to me! And my brothers and my kingdom... none of which I can help while this goes on. So whether you like it or not, you're going to get me home.” She declares with a fiery tone.

Gripping the wooden stick in my hands if she wanted my help she would have a better chance at using Emma. “I can never be brave.”

She muttered under her breath she pointed her sword tip in my direction. “Me whole fate rests in a coward's hands. It's really come to this? Yes, you will be. You have to.”

“You have the wrong man.” Dropping my gaze down to the dirt at my feet.

Merida stomps up forward drawing her sword around my head until I grunted getting knocked out by her hit dropping to the dust. “Well, if words won't drive you, we'll have to figure another way, now, won't we? There has to be something. And I'm gonna find it.”

Astrid’s POV

Sitting down my grilled cheese I watched the curly red head stomp into my house. Pushing my chair away from the kitchen table I raised a brow at her not seeing my husband wasn’t with her. “Where is my husband. I told you to make him a hero not abandon him in the middle of the woods!”

“Don’t get you kilt in a twist, dark princess. He won’t fight with words. So I need your help in giving him something to fight for. What does he care about besides you?” She whipped her head around grumbling at me.

Tapping my fingers on the table there was very little Rumple cared about besides me. I couldn’t see our baby as leverage since it wouldn’t be born for a few months. “Well at first it was just his son Bealfire and his shawl but he’s dead. Now there’s me and our babe. That won’t work…yet there is one other person who got close to his heart under weird circumstances.”

“Does he have another weakness or not?” She stomped her boot on the wooden floor getting frustrated.

Raising my hand I froze her in her place with my magic where she grunted watching me rise to my feet. Holding my hand so she couldn’t move I waved my other hand revealing my dagger necklace that hangs from my fingers. “There is one girl whose name is Belle, but we will need her for something else. As for right now…” Reaching inside my chest I sat the necklace down on the table drawing out my half of heart.

“How can you survive with only half a heart?” The Scottish girl asked me.

Placing my heart in her hands once I unfreeze her body I slipped the necklace around her neck too. “It’s a long story that isn’t important right now. When you see him show him the necklace first and if that doesn’t work show him the heart.” Waving my hand I transported her back to my husband knowing that one of those objects would trigger him.

Rumple’s POV

Blinking my eyes open once more I saw that it was nightfall right before a sword was pointed into my throat making me gasp at the red head being back in front of me. “Well. Glad to see the bears didn't get ya.”

“Please. Please. I-I... I can't fight.” I gulped when she cut the ropes on my wrists tossing me a sword once more.

Merida shouts at me swinging her sword in her hands. “No. You won't fight. Big difference. You know, my father used to say, "if you want a lad to fight, give him something to fight for."

“W-what are you doing?” Pressing my back against the tree trunk she pressed the blade tip to my throat making me nervous of what she was about to do next.

Merida reached into her dress showing me a necklace that I recognized clearly. “Oh. Reminding you what you have to fight for.” The tiny necklace was a little rusted but the shape of the dagger was still clear as day.

“Where did you get that?” I asked her leaning forward trying to grab it but she rose to her feet quickly.

She held it on the tip of her finger taunting me. “Oh, means something to you, doesn't it? Oh! If you want it, you're gonna have to fight me for it.”

Attempting to get to my feet I grabbed the sword throwing the necklace almost into my reach. But she swung her sword knocking mine from my hands when I went to grab the jewelry. “Urgh…No, please. Please don't. Don't. Ohh!”

Merida teased me by hanging the necklace on a high tree branch. “So, what happened? Did your golden princess see the yellow-bellied man you really are? I bet you she did, didn’t she. Ohh! That had to sting!” She takes a swing at me while I stumble back to the red trying to grab it until she calls out to me again. “I didn’t believe that piece of jewelry would do you any daft good. I suppose that is why she gave me this.”

Whipping my head around I shuttered seeing a beating red heart in her freehand. I stumbled forward collapsing onto the dirt, eyeing her beating heart. “How dare you take that. She wouldn’t have given it to you!”

“Actually she did. She said that these two things would get you to become a hero. Now I think I understand why the heart is valuable since she has my own hostage and won’t let me live of my own free will. Now if you don’t want me to hurt her I suggest you start acting like a hero.” She spat swinging her sword when I reached for mine on the ground blocking her hit for the first time. “Oh! Did you feel that?””

“Feel what?” I questioned her shifting my gaze quickly onto her heart seeing that there was a flickering of black in the center that was new to me. It must have been from when she first decided to use dark magic.

Merida pushed me back lowering her weapon seeing the heart disappear in a puff of red smoke. She plucked the necklace, tossing the fragile jewelry into my chest. “That swing right there! You weren't thinking of yourself or the limp. You were thinking of her. That was an act of true bravery. Ready to try again? Eh? Eh?””

“I won’t face my wife…I won’t hurt…I can’t hurt…” I sniffled through tears clutching the necklace in my fingers. The sword lay at my feet where I looked up at her. “I can’t protect my wife from what the darkness wants. I will always be a coward even if I love her with everything else that I am.”

Merida bent down on a knee raising my chin with the tip of her blade. “That wee lass is pregnant with your child. My father would say to always fight for your family. If not for your wife then do it for the baby.” She yanked me to my feet leaving me out of a small campsite where I just slept with the necklace pressed against my chest.

When i see Apple White with Raven Queen or even Raven Queen with Madeline Hatter i was stop thinking about Once Upon a Time when i watched only two First seasons because One i see Mary Margaret and Regina Mills since they First meets in the episode 18 from season One and then One episode before we see Regina Mills that She want the help of Mad Hatter to search her father in Wonderland and even She didn't notice that her mother Cora was disguised as Queen of Heart since She sent her in episode 2 from Once Upon a Time season two when She won't to marry Snow White's father After Daniel's death.......

But now i realize that It was Peter Pan's fault because the Blue Fairy see that Rumpelstilskin was taking from his parents Peter Pan and Fiona the Black Fairy and It that because She tried to help Bealfire to convince Rumpelstilskin to return in London. That's Rumpelstilskin did It with the Fairy of Cinderella in the episode 4 from Once Upon a Time, was a truly meaning because of his parents and even that episode predicted the future of Henry Mills that he will marry Cinderella and they will have Lucy and together they will fight against Lady Rapunzel Tremaine and Mother Gothel transforming them into a tree in the Last season of Once Upon a Time. But if Alice was young in Once Upon a Time season One with Henry Mills, and meeting the Mad Hatter and made him compassion without to see the presence of Cora in Wonderland, did Alice and Peter Pan knowed each other before the spells and the events of Once Upon a Time? And because Alice and Peter Pan were from London and Alice in Wonderland was created by Lewis Carroll in 1865 and Peter Pan was created by James Barrie in 1904.
