It's not that bad on the surface, and in the Depths, my mask filters it. Dunno what they put in those things, but it's surprisingly resistant. The goop's about where that resistance ends though.

I wonder if masks would help Hylians navigate Gloom-filled areas more safely...

They are a scammer and trace art. Constantly begging people to commission them and guilt them into giving or tipping them money.

I'm so glad I stayed strong and didn't give them money. I honestly felt bad turning them down and was thinking of a way to help them but OH BOY am I glad to found posts saying not only do they scam people but would go out of their way to guilt trip them too and then block them if those people don't back down from having rights to be suspicious.

They changed their username from Spo-kaka because many people would alert others of them. But they still watermark/leave a signature of there old username on their work and commissions.

Just an fyi, their old username on other's posts and in replies will redirect to their new username until someone takes the name.

Today is a special day for Ukrainians, because it's Ukraine's Independence Day! 🇺🇦🫶

I really hope it's going to be peaceful, but unfortunately I think it's more dangerous than a normal day is...

I just wish that my family is going to be safe back there and nothing scary will happen

So to keep my mind quiet and celebrate the day somehow, I decided to quickly draw something peaceful and cute, that reminded me of my home :3

If you're medically transitioning as a trans masc person (who used to have cyclical bleeding) this may apply to you too!

If hormones caused your bleeding to stop for an extended period (several months or years) and you suddenly have bleeding again with no plausible causes (changes to your dose, dose timing, possibly injecting at a bad angle if you're using injectable (what happened in my case), etc), make sure to note it down and any other details you can think of (any other menstrual/pms like symptoms? Energy changes? Dryness or discomfort? New or changing meds?) and bring it up with your doctor the next time you have a check-in!

When I mentioned it to my doctor, he went through a short series of questions and we determined my case was most likely just the shallow injection but it meant we were able to go over the possibilities together and could have set up further investigation if needed.

For unexpected bleeding, he stressed that trans mascs on sufficient hormones are to be treated with the same cautions as for postmenopausal cis women since in both cases, its a shift in hormone levels that leads to the cessation of the bleeding and therefore sudden return of bleeding can also have the same causes/associated risks.

There's a post going around Tumblr about how if you're post-menopausal and have bleeding, you should get it checked by your doctor. I brought some minor bleeding I'd had up in a doctor visit earlier this year, prompted by that post, and this week, after a biopsy, I found out I have cancer. It's early stage and the survival odds at 5 years are 99%. I have an oncologist appointment and we may have caught it early enough that surgery alone will be sufficient treatment (no radiation/chemo).

So that post may have saved my life and it may have made my treatment a lot easier too.

If you get into menopause and then start bleeding again, really, get your reproductive innards checked out. The life you save may be your own.
