the fact that there has been a new "it" water bottle almost every other year over the past few years really rubs me the wrong way
capitalism has taken what was meant to be an enduring one-time purchase into a fleeting status symbol to chase.
these water bottles were built to last!! but instead they're being tucked away, never to be seen again, despite being perfectly functional just because they're no longer the water bottle to have

hi clari! after reading ur posts about being a film and basically lit major i was curious about why u decided to study film at a university level n how it ties into ur “story” if u know what i mean
hello!! hmm i’m not like 100% sure what you mean by story (like, as in the story of my life???) but i decided to study film at a university level because i love cinema with everything in me and planned to work in the industry in any way, whether that be in production or distribution or exhibition or on an even more academic level (it’s a dream of mine to create my own film journal and publish academic pieces written by women).
my goals have changed a little now—i still love cinema, and i’d still die to work in the industry, but i’m currently more focused on creating (writing for) indie games + publishing novels & collections of short stories. everything i studied in school + the skills i developed n sharpened there are still helpful and applicable to these fields as well so!! i definitely do not regret my degree at all and i’m really happy i went with it! c: i also loved my program so so so much <3

perfect morning routine 💗

1. wake up early (5:30-6:30 am): start the day off with waking up early to make your mornings feel less rushed.
2. hydrate (5 minutes): drink a glass of water to kickstart your metabolism and rehydrate after a night’s sleep.
3. yoga (10-15 minutes): a short yoga session can help loosen muscles and improve blood flow.
4. meditation (5-10 minutes): practicing deep breathing to center your mind and reduce stress for the day ahead.
5. exercise (20-30 minutes): moderate workouts like a jog, bodyweight exercises, or cycling to boost your energy levels and release endorphins.
6. healthy breakfast (20 minutes): aim for a balance of protein, fiber, and healthy fats. (if you take daily vitamins, do it after having breakfast)
7. shower/skin care (15-20 minutes): refresh yourself and do your skincare routine.
8. daily intentions/scheduling (5 minutes): write and/or vocalize your priorities or goals for the day. you can use a calendar or a journal. this will help you with getting all important things done.
all 8 steps do not need to be done every day but consistency brings the best results!! this routine will leave you feeling energized with a clear mind to start the day!!

having a good day so far, i went to class today and i took my meds, brushed my teeth, used my waterpik, washed/moisturized my face etc. this morning :) i’m at the dining hall rn with one of my roommates and i ate a cheeseburger, fries and an apple and drank some fruit punch hi-c. i also drank a full bottle of water (32oz) already and i have caffeine in my system as well which helps me to focus (i have cherry alani sticks that my friend gave me because they can’t have caffeine anymore). i also had some vanilla ice cream, half a twix my roommate gave me, and i tried a chicken pesto calzone that was in the dining hall, it was really tasty so I’m probably going to take another one and sneak it out so I have one for another day when there isn’t good food or when I’m hungry late in the evening when the dining hall is closed, etc.

Hydration inspo for the parched and sluggish-but-excitable~
Here's my take on how to make hydration a bit more fun if you're tired of hearing the same-old!
Water bottle is 18oz and stainless steel with good insulation for maximum liquid enjoyment.
The soy sauce "labelling" scales the nutritional facts of soy sauce to an 18 oz. amount. (Yup. I thought it out!)
Pleeeease do not actually drink that much soy sauce hehe
Sides/back of the bottle are black to match the soy sauce theme.
Also yes, I was dead-set on making hydration sloth in sticker form a reality. All according to plan~

I'm compiling some safety tips here for people in the US here that I found online. Some things you may want to do before January: 
Make an appointment with your doctor to talk about a long-term birth control plan, such as an IUD or vasectomy. 
Make an appointment with your doctor to make sure your vaccinations are up to date and to get a Covid booster. 
Check in, and stay in contact with, your queer friends. There’s strength in numbers. Community is important. 
Consider renewing your passport if necessary. 
Consider stocking up on fluoride toothpaste, pregnancy tests or other health products you worry about not (safely) having access to in the future. 
Rest up. Hydrate. Eat. Take care of yourself. The best act of rebellion is staying alive. You don’t need to feel strong or brave or even optimistic, just be kind to yourself.

this is so random but do you wear makeup? asking bc my skin complexion is fair like yours and was wondering what products you use on your skin! i have dark brown hair and all my friends are like how are you Italian and pale? im like IDK GUYS lmao
ah i do not wear makeup! mostly because my skin is extremely sensitive and it doesn’t take well to most products :(( sorry anon :c LMAOOO i get that too!! my mom, my nonna & i are all pale, but all of my mom’s siblings, my nonno & the majority of my cousins have beautiful olive skin that never gets sunburnt (i spend five minutes in the sun and i’m already scorched >.<)
