A Wild Mobei-Jun Appears! (IAC Pt.5) (First/Prev/Next)

[ID: A Scum Villain Comic. The first panel shows a back view of Chibi!Plant Yuan watches the spirit eagle screens, the main one featuring Gongyi Xiao and Luo Binghe, to which a bubble next to him shows a :D!" face. Then the Spirit Eagle screens shatter, causing Chibi!SY to jump slightly. He turns with a concerned expression, frighteningly saying "A-Die-" As other voices scream out "What's going on???" "Lord Yue!" "What is the meaning of this?" "The Spirit Eagles!"

Panel two has Shen Qingqiu placing a hand on SY's shoulder, the other holding a closed fan with a concerned expression and saying "Stay here. Zhangmen-Shixiong and I will enter the barrier." SY protests with his fist slightly raised with a "But!" To which Chibi!SQQ points to him with an aggrieved look and states "You are to stay with your Mu-Shishu and Wei-Shishu. Understood?" Chibi!SY looks down at his fists with an "Understood" a box next to him saying "Already plotting his escape."

Panel three has Wei Qingwei and Mu Qingfang appearing behind SY to his surprise. WQW assures SQQ by saying "Don't worry. We'll keep an eye on him Shixiong." MQF with a concerned look has an hand placed on SY's arm and says "Just focus on getting the disciples to safety." Chibi!SQQ nods with a pinched look. It cuts to battle-torn Luo Binghe and Gongyi Xiao convered in various scratches and blood, both wielding their spiritual swords. LBH with a grimace states "Somethings not right..." To which GYX replies "I agree, I'm sure our Shizuns will do something-"

Panel Four is completely drawn in chibi style. A yell of "Shizhi!" startles both GYX and LBH. SQH appears with a closed eye nervous smile with his hands raised out as a bubble representing LBH goes "Shang-Shishu?" SQH replies "Ah, fancy meeting you guys here!" GYX asks "Have you come to help Lord Shang?" SQH nervously goes "Uh...yes! Of course! I'm here to get you both to-" He's interrupted by a rumble that causes LBH and GYX to tense up and stumble in confusion, LBH yelling out "What's going on?"

The final panel depicts Mobei Jun standing in front of the entrance to the Endless Abyss, an angered look on his face muttering the words "Huan Hua..." Chibi!LBH glares towards him whilst Chibi!GYX looks on with a concerned but confused look questioning "A demon lord?" Chibi!SQH stands nervously behind them, sweating with a :[ face. End ID]

I had a shrink appointment today and while I could not see it I knew my doc was going through the five stages of grief while I explained my fool proof strategy for doing my t shots despite a crippling fear of needles: By abusing my vastly more crippling fear of being an inconvenience.

My mother and I play phasmophobia together every week. she usually has a pretty limited time to do this bc she's like. a doctor and a college professor whos always busy. So I asked her to just. hold me to doing them. We don't start playing until the shot is done. so my needle fear doesn't matter because now it's Wasting™ her time and I have to do it quick. Using one neurosis to defeat another.

It's a horrible coping mechanism because it's feeding the inconvenience fear, but it is definitionally a coping mechanism.

#im a 'has a panic attack during every injection or iv theyve ever gotten' type of scared of needles #no it genuinely has nothing to do with pain the needle itself is the fear not the using of it #like i told this story before but i have these sewing pins with lil bow ties on them and i had to get my dad to take all the blue ones out #because they were triggering the same part of my brain iv needles do #just the sight of them with the rest of my cute sewing pins was a problem #And the fear of being an inconvenience is so bad i cant eat around people or be in crowded spaces or talk at get togethers #without being paralyzed by fear of Being In The Way. its so bad ive been avoiding using my power chair bc it makes me take up #slightly more space than i would just standing. and i never took my manual out and about because i moved too slowly in it #and i dont take my crutches on planes despite using them everyday bc they cant fold up like my cane can and so are In The Way #one of the big reasons i dont use the chairs in stores is they have back up alarms. and i hate making noises in public #Yes this is part of the reason i want a Rottweiler for my service dog because i want people to look at the doggie Not Me.#I like people! i like being friendly and talking and making little connections with strangers!!! But i cant be the one to initiate or #be In The Way of a peaceful moment #dont look at me #this is also a big issue i have with making friends or changing the nature of a relationship because like. im autistic #I have Rules for social interactions memorized that i will follow. but moving people from one category to another #is difficult. It is too the point i had problems for litteral years talking to my boyfriend as though #he was a person i knew well and cared deeply for because i kept using the 'rando guy im flirting with on the Internet' script #I have commissioners i want to be friendlier with but my brain says No Stop that is an Impolite and Overly informal way to talk to #a customer™ despite them not being customers when they arnt in the commission process #im like thise huskies who are scared of carpet because its Different than the floor they're currently standing on #its Too different:(#and to be clear i am Completely aware of how none of this makes logical sense and is in fact deeply self destructive #That does not fix it. it is so ingrained in my head that im certain i could convince my brain to let me bite off my own fingers #before i could convince it to let me talk to someone at a help desk or ask my order be corrected at a restaurant

i was the happiest these past two nights ♡

#two pics of hyunjin and seungmin bc Bias and Holds a very precious spot in my heart respectively #also that’s the best i could get for lix and innie i’m sorry jdñajs #but yeah it was so. i have so much to say #the first day they were kinda holding back i could tell but once they got comfortable and realised the kind of crowd we were they just went #—all out #they gave us so much energy #they learned a chilean cuss word that also means amigo and they wouldn’t stop saying it both days #<-chan actually said it out of nowhere the first night and we were all like WAIT WHAT YOU’RE ALLOWED TO SAY THAT!??!?#he then proceeded to call changbin hueón. then hyunjin said it too. i cried #we also learned by felix himself that he does in fact have a half chilean cousin and they ate chilean chorizo once when they were kids #lino threw water at us in my section and it hit me right in the eye #changbin and lix’s water got to me as well #i don’t even have words for hyunjin and how beautiful he is #like i can’t believe i saw him up close with my own two eyes he is so unreal i still can’t believe he exists #they are all sosososo precious to me #but seungmin was definitely the mvp this time. everyone is gushing over him #i knew this from the maniac tour but he is so charismatic and it just hits different in person #he was also so happy to be here we could feel how much he loved it here and it warmed my heart so bad #and it was cute how excited he was to perform cinema and how happy he got when we did the fanchant he proposed on his live the other day #they apologised for just now coming here after seven years. lix said they should’ve come a lot sooner #but it was so worth the wait #i hope they have the best tour as it goes on and that they come back for the next one now that they know how much we love them over here<3 #dominate tour

This isn't connected to anything, but I thought of a random scene in the Everybody Loves Vox AU while I was relaxing this morning.

And I've decided that Alastor only criticizes and mocks things about Vox that he knows Vox will argue with him about, because he enjoys teasing and fighting.

But he's also super careful about not saying any preferences towards things about Vox that he could easily change, because he knows Vox's first instinct is to want to be liked and so he'd change whatever it is for Alastor’s (or anyone's, really) approval - but Alastor DOESN'T want Vox to do that, because that's boring. If he wanted someone to do whatever he says he'd ask one of his thralls - he likes that Vox does and likes and wears things he doesn't like or wouldn't do himself, because the differences are fun and entertaining and interesting.

And Vox only finds this out one day by complete accident because Alastor happens to find him relaxing after a shower (on a bed or a couch, just a surface they could lay down and cuddle on) and immediately decides to join him to cuddle. Like, laying entirely on him, shoving his head in his neck, the whole nine yards.

Vox is visibly confused because he KNOWS Alastor doesn't like to cuddle and is very particular about physical touch. (It's the one thing he's had to get used to since they've started "not dating." Part of the reason he stayed with Val for so long was because he enjoys physical contact with his partner, but he's adapted to Alastor’s lack of desire for it to the best of his ability.)

So Vox tries to tactfully ask what the hell is going on, because while he's really enjoying the cuddle he's Extremely Confused and would like an ounce of clarification.

And it turns out that Alastor hates his cologne and that THAT'S why he refuses to touch or cuddle him, to prevent the scent from getting on himself. (It's too strong, too much, it gives him a headache with his more sensitive sense of smell, etc etc).

Vox is like, "Were you ever going to TELL ME that?! What the hell, Alastor?! I don't have to fucking wear it if it bothers you that much!"

Alastor, grumbling, with his face still shoved in Vox’s chest, "No, I was not, because any time someone says anything, you immediately mold yourself into whatever that is, so I would appreciate you forgetting this conversation ever happened."

Vox, with one arm holding Alastor and his other hand pinching the spot between his eyes, "Absolutely the fuck not! Alastor. If I had to choose between over-priced colonge and you fucking TOUCHING ME, I'm fucking choosing you? What the hell, this is insane, I cannot believe we could've been cuddling this entire time. I'm fighting you when we're done because of this."

Vox absolutely ditches the colonge the first chance he gets, despite Alastor's protests.

I like to think that eventually Vox gets comfortable enough to NOT do his initial instinct of immediately changing himself towards Alastor's preferences, once he now knows that Alastor won't say anything - even if it's something he'd be happy to change - to keep him from doing exactly that.

(Also, I think Val tended to do the opposite, where he'd often criticize Vox until he does whatever he wants, so it's hard for him initially to not do the same for Alastor, and to realize that Alastor's mode of affection is softly bullying him but that Alastor dislikes it when he tries to change himself to appease).

It takes some trial and error until they find common ground between "changing anything your partner doesn't like" and "never saying anything you dislike to your partner." Neither of them are good at relationships, so it takes a bit.

(I just couldn't get the idea of Alastor refusing to get too close to Vox because his scent bothers him - and then the second he finds Vox without it he practically tries to bury under his skin to catch up on all the affection (and enjoying his natural scent) he can before Vox puts that scent back on. And never thinking, hey, maybe I should say something about that because he doesn't understand the difference between that and controlling Vox's personality.)

#long post #i reject the Alastor is touch averse headcanon tbh I just think he doesn't like to be touched by people he doesn't know or like #bc im the same if we're not friends or you don't have a valid reason don't touch me #but like i dont notice or care and enjoy contact with people i like #(or if there's a valid reason like at my current job? not many reasons. but when i worked at a fast food place? there's no space so. reason)#im just saying he had no issues being tossed around by rosie #i just think he prefers to control the contact with those he's not comfortable with but has no issues with those he is comfortable with #(also i am also sensitive to smell so ive decided Alastor is too. projection is fun 🫶)#i also think Vox is a very “crowd pleaser” personality which doesnt lend itself well to being true to his own wants and desires #and that Val absolutely used that to his advantage to get whatever he wanted from Vox #everybody loves vox au

#quotidian convos #but then again my voice does sound different in various situations #and also various microphones #in my phone mic i sound like a baby #in my laptop mic i sound like a tired college student or another equivalent #i sound the best in stage microphones tho. because my voice is naturally booming and I can make it be loud to address a crowd if I want to #and bc of that i have to increase it in volume and make it clear and so my voice and pitch also becomes a bit...#not higher but brighter #and my voice changes in different situations too #when i'm at home i wont bother so I let my voice fall down deep and its usually deep in mornings and evenings #when i'm at school its higher and either gets higher or lower or quieter or louder depending on who I'm talking to #when i'm at a professional or networking gathering my voice changes dramatically to an extroverted one (call it my Brucie Wayne Persona)#fun fact. that voice is also the same one I imagine myself talking in online lol. except its more open cuz social media is vastly different #to networking dinners and stage events

I should say smth about the new bsd chapter but ngl i just feel kinda dissapointed by it?? It felt really short and we’ve been stuck on the same characters for a whiiile. It just felt like nothing happened. We got Fukuchi but anime-watchers + that one cover of Fukuchi wearing the mask could fill that in without being told.

There are so many more people Asagiri has to fill us in on; the government’s response to all this, Tecchou losing everyone he loved, Atsushi’s feelings on this, the rest of the entire Agency. What does Kunikida think on Fukuzawa being unable to kill Fukuchi? How’s he feeling now that he’s responsible for the Agency members again?? Bro wasnt named their sucessor for nothing! What’s Yosano been doing, what are her opinions on the use of another immortal regiment for the sake of power? Kenji, Junichirou, Naomi?

i get that people are/were divided but i don't think ive ever seen a race this close be so definitively decided in the ceremony performances themselves..........only for the award to end up in the wrong hands lmao!!

nicole sherzinger is a talented singer and she does a lot with (imo) one of the best songs in andrew lloyd webber's entire discography, unfortunately for her she just so happened to be up against one of the greatest musical theater performers of all time and got completely crushed like a bug when it became possible to watch their performances side by side

#dubious politics aside bc i didnt totally keep track of sherzingers drama and it looks like she just might be #a kind of dumb jesus hollywood person and naybe not a trump voter but like. so many people I know are going to concerts. it's fine. im totally fine with not going to concerts who cares anyway right.

#first coldplay #then dua lipa #so many arijit singh sonu nigam sunidhi chauhan concerts #and now lollapalooza #i see so many stories everytime and each time im not a part of the crowd #i know I don't really listen to coldplay and the artists performing at lollapalooza #but it feels bad knowing that im missing out on the core experience of going to a concert #and i know with my luck that if artists I love like sabrina and olivia come here to perform #it would probably be during the time I have exams and so I can't go #or the tickets will be too expensive and my parents won't allow #or i would not be able to get tickets because some fucking idiots will get tickets instead just bc they want to #boast on insta by posting a story that they saw this artist #and im sure some of those people would be my old classmates who definitely don't know any song other than whatever went famous on insta #(this is about irl people btw if my mutuals here are going to concerts I am very happy for them y'all deserve it <33)

noshing on a mango sticky rice croissant from the farmers market this morning and i gotta say this whole is not greater than the sum of its parts

#sasha speaks #the pastry stand i got it at is relatively new and very In rn like their stand can get massive lines #and they sell out at a lot of markets cause their stuff is pretty and uses a lot of trendy flavors like strawberry matcha and ube #and dubai chocolate (which i don't understand. is it just pistachio??) or those bigass croissant cubes #and like listen i am not above trendy pastry. not in the slightest. i love a fun pastry.#though the big cubes are off putting to me tbh they're too big. i don't want that much #anyway they're new at my neighborhood market recently which i don't shop at as often but sometimes i do #like this morning bc i didn't want to go across town today and it was drizzly which meant i could get there early #and beat any measly crowd that might form later #and like. the mango sticky rice croissant. it looks super cute. round pastry with rice and mango nestled in the middle #it doesn't taste BAD. it's pastry and it's mango sticky rice.#but also. the mango is doing most of the heavy lifting here. which like. it's mango. of course it tastes good #the croissant on its own is kind of more bready than i prefer (though to be fair i like a croissant VERY flaky)#(and that tends to hamper the structural rigidity which is a problem when you mostly trade in filled and topped pastries)#(rather than just a straight up plain croissant)#and the rice is just like #idk. it's rice #it's chewy. it's not very coconuty. it's not too sweet which is good but it's not bringing much to the party other than texture #idk i'm glad i tried it and i will finish it but i won't get it again i think. i would rather just eat a good plain croissant and a mango #like. next to each other #i did get a custard filled milk bread as well though i am excited to try that tomorrow. i love custard buns
