ok i swear i'm not going to talk about my breakup forever but the thing that just keeps bothering me:

i know that not getting what you need in a relationship is a COMPLETELY valid reason to end it but also. i feel like having a very vulnerable moment where i opened up about my struggles with intimacy and being relieved that i didn't have to keep doing things i wasn't comfortable with, then being dumped a YEAR later because of my lack of intimacy. is something i should be allowed to be very hurt by???

i feel sunday would be a little scandalized, maybe clutching his rosary if his partner wore revealing outfits similar to silver wolf or lingsha. tiny shorts with no tights underneath, a crop top that reveals their chest. there’s so much skin uncovered, compared to his face and neck being the only visible parts of his body. (they definitely steal his coat when it gets so chilly which is another reason his face turns a bright red.)

i was completely, blissfully unaware that people on other social media sites were making up whole conspiracy theories about the emergency alert test today until i heard someone talking about it in class this morning. meanwhile on tumblr everyone is just like happy Loud Noise Wednesday to all who celebrate <3

I love Deanna Troi because she’s representative of an autistic experience you don’t see on TV a lot which is “I learned all about human interaction the same way that one might learn about cool bugs so I know what makes people tick and in THEORY I know the right things to say in social situations but socializing like that is not the least bit natural to me and I don’t know what to do if the situation doesn’t match up with what I studied.” Except for her instead of having JUST learned about human interaction she is also psychic and so she partially relies on that too.

The episode where she loses her powers and suddenly cannot read people at all, not even to the level humans usually can, totally screws up trying to give therapy, and becomes so distraught she tries to resign from her job as a therapist, is so real. Like listen if she wasn’t autistic that wouldn’t have been such a big deal. Deanna Troi is an empath with low empathy, she’s using her psychic powers to compensate for her symptoms.

Also the episode where she hears some annoying music and completely loses her mind about it and screams and sobs and must be put into a medically induced coma because she’s so upset by the music and the alien that made her hear the annoying music seems genuinely confused about why it bothered her so much (meaning that like, that wasn’t the intended or normal effect of his annoying music ability).

Even outside those episodes where it’s so obvious though, everything she says to people tends to read as extremely scripted, like she knows it’s what she ought to say but it isn’t what she would say if she was just being herself. Queen of masking. What is the real you like, if you even still have one? She’s just like me for real

music protip: if you're starting to get tired of listening to a favorite song, find a cover or live version of it. watch the music video, official or fanmade. read the lyrics while you listen (if possible), and be mindful about it. see if you can find a video/track of the artist talking about the song's meaning. make a mood board for the song. these all help your brain form new connections to the song, which helps it from getting old!

I literally love comparing Lake and Tulip's designs. I think it says so much about them.

Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, and maybe that's because it's just common knowledge, but! Both Lake and Tulip have boots, and both of them have pants that don't quite reach their ankles.

And this is! Beautiful! So cool! Because Lake isn't an exact copy of Tulip, their design isn't a cheap rip-off all the way through. But these similarities also accentuate how different they really are.

They both wear boots but Tulips are obviously softer. Insulated. The kind of thing you slip on and wear around. Lake's are closer to work boots. They have laces and are more about durability then practically (slip ons).

And Tulip's pants are some sort of leggings or tights- something that sticks close to the skin. They're also layered! Lake's pants lack layers and also stick out. There's a gap and you can tell that their wants might not be baggy, but none of their clothes is something I would call form-fitting.

Even when she gets a new design, she's wearing jeans, and you can see where the bend if her knee is. Which isn't clear on Lake unless they're moving.

All of Tulip's reiterations are also splash of color and some neutral tones. Which like! If Lake was trying so desperately to be the opposite of Tulip, there's no way they'd wear black and gray. Tulip literally wore black and gray for the entire first season!

But Lake owns the neutral tones. Instead of letting their skin be some sort of neutral accent, they made wearing neutral colors a trait of their's. It's just who they are.

Also Tulip always seems to wear long sleeves, possibly because she's Minnesotan and it's cold here 70% of the year, or maybe she just thinks they're comfy. Lake has no sleeves whatsoever. It makes me wonder if they hate wearing too many layers or things that are too tight. If that makes them feel a little trapped or restricted.

I have no idea where I was going with this or if any of this really makes sense. I just love these two kids. I love parallels. I love learning about characters through their designs.

hi, sorry if this is kind of a weird thing to ask but if anyone sees this and uses/has used transtape in the past can you just lmk your thoughts on it, im thinking about getting some because i honestly hate binding + its getting too hot and i was mainly wondering if you recommend it AND if its better, worse or the same compared to using a binder during summer months ty 💙⚧️

sorry I’ve been on such a Dabi high lately but I almost croaked earlier at the thought of being his college gf and just being so opposite of each other!!!!!! you’re all good grades and perfect attendance, easily approachable and sweet smiles. and he’s all grumpy faced and dark clothing, makes people nervous whenever he stands outside smoking right by the doors.

who the hell would’ve thought you two would end up together? it just didn’t make a lick of sense seeing you two from the outside. but when they get a glimpse of you guys together, alone, everything just falls into place.

he’s so supportive of everything you do, no matter how dumb or nerdy he thinks it is. he keeps count of your stitches for you when you crotchet, doesn’t mind being your model for a cropped hot pink sweater you’re creating, wears the knitted beanie around campus that you made for him. he hates not having your attention but he takes some of the same classes you take so that he can help you study, quiz you when you’re not too sure of the subject, maybe even help you cheat if you want (you don’t, but he always offers).

he buys you your favorite drink at the cafes and always carries an extra laptop charger in case you forget. he helps you pick out your outfits when you’re unsure, and loves the opposite aesthetic whenever you stand hand in hand with him. he praises you when you succeed, and comforts you with your failures. he looks like a dirtbag that hangs around campus to be a creepy bum, but he’s there for you through and through <3

Can’t wait for when I start T and it starts getting noticeable (facial hair deeper voice etc) so that was my fashion sense can go from looking like a kinda maybe androgynous if you squint girl to a gnc fem guy (by Bible Belt Deep South standards at least)
