The most valid Bruce is the Bruce that goes from having a 100 life skills to 0 in one second. Look at him.

He knows how to hack into his FBI agent's computer. He doesn't know what red onions are. He can't kill people but he can kill houseplants like a professional. He knows how to create antidotes to any virus or poison. He doesn't know how to make tea without burning the mansion down.

Alfred has no hair and this is why.

Ummm. Who was going to tell me the in The Batman (2022) Gotham City is in New York state? What happened to Gotham being in New Jersey?

This means that Metropolis isn't across the Delaware bay. No twin cities. No Metropolis in Delaware.

Most of all we miss out on the magic of Bruce struggling to get gas when out as Batman in NJ. (Like the Batmobile is low and he has to stop to get an attendant to pump his gas.) Now that has to be the real reason why this man allowed a nine year old sunshine child to come fight crime with him at night.

Battinson would rely on Dick to do a lot of 'translating' for him. Imagine all of the questions that would be able to be asked at crime scenes with a Robin who could figure out what he wanted to ask by a look or a small hum. Magic right there. 10/10. This version of Batman has so much potential to be serious and awkwardly funny at the same time.

Originally, I was thinking omega!Bruce, cause y'know me and my need to omegify the heroes. But then. Inspiration struck me. (Also I was rereading my library of a/b/o au fics). I've written about an omega character pretending to be an alpha but!!! What about!!! Alpha character pretending to be omega??

I'm under the assumption that the Gotham elites (or any high society let's be real) are really conservative, and think of omegas to be 'weak' and 'fragile' making them all underestimate omegas. And like Battinson rarely goes and interacts with them all + the 'shy' demeanour makes the elites assume that lil Brucie Wayne is an omega cause no alpha would act like that, right?

Anyway, Bruce doesn't present until after his parents death and his scent is very ambiguous- not too much like an omega's but also not too much like an alpha's so everyone assumes he's an omega wearing really strong scent blockers (cause he's rich + the sole inheritor of the Wayne fortune. Gotta keep those pesky suitors at bay.). In reality he wears cologne that makes him smell more like an omega.

Batman tho? He's an alpha. For sure. Like he doesn't smell like anything certain, but the dominance of the scent is there. And that incongruence between Bruce and Batman ensures that the two aren't connected.

Where does R comes into all this??? Idk. It's just all vibes at this point. I'm still juggling between what secondary gender R would have. I think any of the three would work, but idk at the moment.

My first thought was also omega!Bruce, but this is so much more interesting. I imagine like Steve or Matt in your other fics he's also a little stunted given the everything about him. His cologne just making him smelling more omega is so funny to me honestly.

Gotham elites would be so conservative. Which brings us to R. I can see them as any of the three. An omega who won't bend to the rules of Gotham's high society, who will bare their teeth and be loud without a care. An alpha who would help with Bruce's omega cover, who can play along with him fake dating turns real or childhood friends. A beta who's a strong and steady presence for Bruce, once again refusing to bend to high society's rules and will be seen and part of things, they're a person, damn it. I imagine the beta or alpha being more likely to know about Batman from the get-go. My brain just started turning gears and I couldn't stop it. Oh well.

ive got this The Batman 2022 Essay ive been endlessly playing in like its my little sandbox (wips i will never finish my beloved) and when i first started i was so full of fire and aggression and my heart was full of hate and it had a insistent, if a little ambitious, chapter that was just called. Objectively The Best Live Action Batman Yet. then i went to see it 4 times in the theatres and the message of hope and love and themes of traumatized, outcasted peoples fight to stay alive turning to helping others got to me and i scrapped that part. also because i didnt even want to rewatch the nolan trilogy to PROPERLY tear it to pieces, because lets be honest thats the rival, but also i didnt wanna watch the keaton, the old batmans. but its corpse is still in my heart and every time i see people comparing battinson and bale batman and thinking bale wins it twitches and trembles, takes a trembling, wheezing breath, reminding me its dying slow, unsettling me, making me slowly reach for the axe by my table, watching it by the corner of my eye
