( started writing this originally as just how i saw the diffrent bendy verisons before my autism swerved right into the fence of "NO SCHOOLWORK, JUST BENDY, WRITE ABOUT BENDY, RANT ABOUT BENDY, BENDY BEDY BENDY BENDY" this shits like a google docs paragraph)

ok this is how i see the inky sillies but i suddenly go on a tangent about baby bendy and how painful everything must be for him and then random theories as if i didnt type a paragraph about how baby bendys existence is so painful for himself, small sammy lawrence "theory" and henry cycle one too, and theres a random part where i rant about school, AND FUCKING ALICE CYCLE THEORIES AND THEORIES ABOUT THE COLOUR OF BENDYS BOW IM NOT JOKING

bendy (cartoon) : a homeless mischevious lil guy who steals pies from old ladies and likes to dance

ink bendy (batim ink demon): apex predator who just barely has the mind capacaty to tease its victims at times

beast bendy: filled with so much rage he dont give a shit and also filled with so much ego that he didnt kill henry immediatly and instead hit him into a boss fight

ink demon (batdr ink demon): apex predator but more apex predator, fully developed frontal lobe bcus he was trapped in the smaller form for so long, ink demon and bendy are basically ink bendy cut into two diffrent characters but in the same vessel, way more aware of the fact hes in a cycle (bcus i doubt the og ink demon knew he was just following his insticts)

baby bendy: unaware of the cycle because he was technically only there for one before going into the real world with audrey, he was trapped in a room his whole life since he was created in that room technically to hold off the ink demon, i also think he barely even knew about the ink demon until audrey set him loose and he ran away, because only then did audreys powers accidently unchain the ink demon ( PURE ANGST MATERIAL OUGHH.. ). all he seems to know is the world is dangerous, he probably saw those "wilson is always watching" posters for the first time and realise that all the lost ones around him would probably hurt him or take him to wilson, the only reason he knew that the city spot was dangerous is bcus he was watching from the window :( hes such a pure creatute who had to be created from dark and harmful means only to serve the purpouse of keeping his other half caged inside without even knowing until one day everything just changed and he was in a even bigger and more dangerous enviroment with just a toy train and a demon he cant control, and when i say cant control i believe yes, i dont think he can control it because it seems like as soon as whe he turned back it was due to wilsons technology, he also seemed to be in pain when walking away, meaning that either wilsons technoloy hurts him (backed up because audrey got a headache from it) or simply transforming to and from the ink demon hurts him,

or maybe its all the stunts the ink demon does?, weve only seen him dissapear or go through walls like the ink demon, but could his body really handle the ink demons stunts? when he transformed it was right after the ink demon fall from NOWHERE. he also seemed to not cry anymore, but he looked ashamed, he really cant help what he was a result of, hes nothing but a cage to hold back a failed cartoon character, with a shirt to hide his scars from experiments, he seems to rely HEAVILY on audrey when he strated to trust her, just like how the ink demon relied on her to become beast bendy at the end of the game. he was definitly crying inside the ink demon when the ink demon would attack audrey, even if at the time he was scared shitless of audrey, hell, he cried inside every time the ink demon feasted, i also like to think that fear of being hurt or captured wasnt the only reason he stayed hidden, but also because he didnt want to hurt them, he didnt want whatever was APPARENTLY inside of him so suddenly unleash and create another murder scene for him to watch inside from, and to come back to with just a few more ink stains on him. i truly beleive that at the end of the game, when the ink demon was fighting audrey for control inside of beast bendy, there was someone else fighting on the side of audrey, for the first time he truly tried to fight the demon, he wasnt frozen in fear, sure he had to see so many ink people crushed under his strangely sized hands, but all he knew is that it was audrey, and by that point he trusted audrey, LITIRALLY to hell and back, he didnt know what "the end" was or why audrey needed it, all he knew is that audrey was the only nice person to him hroughout his, whole, LIFE. and somehow i like to beleive that while everybodys inky souls where spinning together, as the paper walls and flesh began to mix into a whirlpool soon to reform into a new cycle, his ink was desperatly holding onto audreys as they SOMEHOW, BOTH, ESCAPED, THE CYCLE,

i dont even know how to theorise how they fucking did that? but i mean wilson could leave and exit whenever, hell maybe every end of batim it was henry going into the real world and escaping the cycle without knowing but doomed to cosntantly go back thru, maybe after the 567th cycle henry started realising that joey wasnt there anymore?? until one inevitable cycle he was like "yo what the fuck happened?" before being dragged away by a keeper and locked up, that whole henry cycle theory is probably wrong tho. also do yall think samy was on audreys side in the final fight? i might be misremembering but he basically said to "guys let bendy kill you" before being shot, but then why was he shot? allison had the gun and allison was on audreys side? i dont know he was probably rooting for the ink demon and not audrey, but he was a cyclebreaker too like henry? maybe he followed henry to reset the cycle, SAMMY AND HENRY TEMPORARY TEAM UP?? my theory is that sammy begrudgingly temporarily worked with henry to escape (they took the projectionist with them) and worked to find their way out to help audrey reset the cycle,

but allison only knew sammy as a enemy and just saw him, another lost one, and just shot him dead, even if sammy WAS rooting for the ink demon and not audrey at the time they were one in the same at the moment, hell i actually doubt he was, he WAS rooting for audrey because as much as he wanted the ink demon to succeed, - ( at this point i had to go to my seconds class of the day, from sport to maths, when i got to the hallway i realise i forgot my pencilcase at the stadium, so i go all the way back, and go all the way back to my class, my usual desk has been broken for a bit and these two girls take the only other desk at the back of the class. thats fine, ill just get another table and drag it back, so i do, next to my broken desk, then i og back and grab a chair, tetris the table and chair, be between my old broken desk and the wall, THE FLAT PART OF THE DESK FUCKING SLIPS AND COMES OFF, anyway i easily put the chair at my desk and sit down, today is my first fucking day back from a 3 day weekend bcus i skipped a school sports day and by the second fucking class im so tired, not to mention its fucking FREEZING, ITS FREEZING AND I THREW UP LAST NIGHT FROM TOO MUCH KFC, AND IM PRETTY SURE IM ON MY OVULATION WEEK RN OR SOMETHING, AND I ALMOST HACKED UP A SPIT GLOB OR SOMETHING THIS MORNING AND IN THE FIRST LESSON, MY NOSE MIGHT JUST BE SOMEWHAT RUNNY, AND I WAS KINDA SICK FOR ATLEAST THE LAST 2 DAYS, WHAT THE FUCK, AND NOW IM IN FUCKING MATHS CLASS, currently hearing these girls sitting next to me who stole the other damn back desk going "im hungry" bitch thats nothing, I WANNA GO HOME anyway back to it) - he also couldnt take being locked away any longer, if the cycle reset then he could just go back, so i think he was cheering for audrey but alisson just saw him as a villian and shot him. anyway i will NEVER get over the fact that the keepers tormented bendy so much, that him, A MUTE CREATURE, SCREAMED, we saw him CRY ingame and he didnt scream, HOW MUCH PAIN did the keeprs cause for a VOICELESS creature to scream,

this is the segment where my autism and adhd team up even harder and instead of just shaking hands my autism and adhd begin passionatly making out feuling my need to keep typing about bendy, so here i take a pause from typing, and go on tvtropes to find more bendy stuff to rant about

alice angel has gone and adventured before, i mean, she says the ink demon was the one who attacked her and caused her face to be wrong, meaning alice has survived a VERY close ink demon encounter, she also seems to know about the cutouts triggering him, not to mention her saying things like "i hate leaving work unfinished" meaning that before henry was in the cycle, alice was doing errands herself, i mean, she already had multiple butcher gang members, AND boris clones dead, not to mention ONE BORIS CLONE all the way in chapter one wouldve also been from her,

meaning alice HAS been in the chapter one location before, does this imply every character has their own cycle story? does this mean every character had entered that old workshop before going on their own horrifying journey up until henry came and the cycle was fully set in motion? joey tormented ALL of his workers, actually more accurately speaking, considering alice being born from puddles and presumably the others too, it probably wouldntve been entering the studio but being born into a real of horror with little to no memories, joey would either cause accidents for his employees or lead them back to the old abandoned workshop and kill them, putting bodies in ink, creating the realm and then using that soul filled ink to trap them all in there, its not like his studio was running when he created the cycle, and he had a lot of hatred to use, im not really sure, im not a huge fan of the last part of the theory, but the whole "alice adventurer" backstory thing is official and i like that she did things herself before henry came, and still feuling backstories from before henry was in the cycle alison DID meet tom through risky things im pretty sure, well, atleast it was like that in batdr

infact, batdr is very diffrent and probably rewrote lots of the characters backstories just for that one cycle, now we dont know how far henry got in that cycle before wilson came, but alice didnt seem to be able to get a whole level 9 as her lair, instead staying in a diffrent spot and not being able to get boris clones, but she still seemed able to get the materials for a electric chair, she also has the tommy gun so,,? not to mention like 9 diffrent lost ones, im not sure,

also, if joey drews studio shut down, then it batdr how did nathan arch like, continue his legacy when he died, like bro what legacy? his legacy shut down years ago dude?

also, in dark revivals ending gent seemed to take back the ink machine, but audrey still has the illusion of living book where apparently she can draw and write and alter things to make the cycle more bearable for her friends ( explains the art at the end of batim, that was joey fucking making concept art for his ex coworkers torment ) but the ink machine witch correct me if im rong is what created the cycle is in gents hands, thats like two major factors of the cycle existense in two diffrent hands, will b3ndy ahve real world segments where audrey needs to draw stuff to help her in the game? is the ink demon in the real world now too? WHY IS THE BATDR REAL LIFE CUTOUT WITH A YELLOW BOWTIE BUT IN EVERY OTHER RENDITION OF COLOURED BENDY ITS RED?? AND THE PLUSH HAS WHITE BOOTS?? thats the real question, i feel like a red bowtie wouldve been more accurate and likely to happen, but yellow bowtie bendy is really nice and i deadass cant decide, apparently jds couldnt either, anyway im exited for the technicolour cartoons, but this couldve been sillyvision? i rea dingame it was a way to draw onto the film reels and maybe even personalise it for specific people, IMAGINE JOEY MAKING PERSONALISED STUFF FOR HIS VICTIMS TO LURE THEM BACK, also it explains some inconsistensies too SLIGHTLY bcus like, the merch too? js keep classic bendy and keep the sillyvision stuff for personalised cartoons holy shit bro,

on my point from the ink demon before im happy that boris lone wolf will fix the inconsistency and make it the dark revival ink demon because apparenly it take splace at the same time and cycle of bendy and the dark revival, but in the graphic novel the ink demon is depicted as the dark revival version despite it taking place way before the events of even the first game, let alone when the ink demon evolved

also: how the fuck do souls get trapped in the cycle? are all of them trapped? i always thought that joey had lured tom and alisson back after their wedding and he was implied to lure susie back as well, obviosly i think characters like susie and sammy are trapped, because sammy DID go coo-coo in the real world ( once again shown in dreams come to life ) AND yet again in dreams come to life, buddy boris is created / buddy becomes boris IN the real world in the ACTUAL, NON CYCLE STUDIO before running off, and the ink demon is a creation in the real world too, while we know that "henry "henry" was created for the sake of tormenting a alternate version of his old buisniuess partner, and that while audrey was made form ink joey never INTENDED for her to be in the cycle ( i think ) then how did they get the souls in the ink realm? theres also likely HUNDREDS of other worker sin the form of butcher gangs and lost ones and searchers and boris clones.... but back to alison and tom, joey said alison visited him in the REAL world, and that caused him to create henrys own angel ( pus her wolf husband bcus theyre canonically married in the non ink realm atleast ) to help, but was he lying? hes always lying, the entire "dreams come to life" novel was a big, fabricated, lie about joeys life, and putting dirt on henry, while wilson discovered the ink realm himself and didnt get turned into ink ( before yknow, accidently being the soul for his ultimate vessel when it was meant to be audrey ) he was able to go in and out of the cycle, and also joey couldnt possibly keep a studio entrance in his house like that, there i debunked my own minitheory

wilson could leave the cycle at his own will, (the archives also said this took a toll on his body ) so that means that yes, almost everything in the cycle is real humans who are now trapped and have been turned into ink, while wilson never got turned, he just discovered it and took it over, the whole "toll on his body" thing might change my henry theory from before, over 414 teames entering and leaving? bro would be a crumb, but then again "HENRY" IS technically a ink creature of his own, yeah i dont reall beleive my henry escaped the cycle every ending theory honestly, just decided to write it down,

About me:

Hello! my name is Meg, and I am a teenage girl currently attending a trade school, and struggle with severe ADHD, Anxiety, and OCD and am currently taking medication for all of these. Unfortunately, not all of my symptoms have been able to be effectively treated— as I suffer from severe writers block and mental fatigue when actually trying to put my thoughts and ideas on a page. This unfortunately includes the fanfic I’m trying to write, which is why I need help. 

I struggle with communication and have only one friend because of this, who is also part of the bendy community. I should note I am very socially anxious, and shy, but friendly (I think?) once I warm up.

My role in writing the story: 

as of right now I have a vague outline skeleton of the plot of the story, and character backstory’s, but if I could write an entire story by myself I probably wouldn’t be here asking for help, if you would like to see ideas I have for the story as of right now, I’ve copied and pasted the outline in a server on my discord!

My requirements: 

This project is nonprofit, as I do not have the means to pay you (unemployed), so please have that in mind 

I’d feel more comfortable if my fellow writers were around the same age as me, for maturity reasons and such, but I will allow people up to 20 to join.

I’d also appreciate it if you have read all the books/own them, I’m currently on page 40 of the Lost ones myself.

Background about the story

My fanfic takes place from 1943 to 1945

The main character, Sylvia is (unknowingly) the daughter of a famous retired Hollywood actress and an popular musician, Sylvia has two older brothers, who, along with their father, was drafted into ww2. Sylvie is the 3rd child and only daughter of the Young family— she has two younger brothers, who are twins. 

Sylvia meets Joey when he takes a wrong turn on a street, and comes across her selling her painting and sketches on the sidewalk, eventually the two get to talking, and Joey offers her a job, which she accepts, and the rest of the story details her journey through the studio.

Warnings about the story : this fanfic will (probably) have period typical homophobia and racism, curses, harmful ideals, gore, body horror, torture, casualty’s of war, suicides, car wrecks, mental abuse, manipulation, exploitation, mentions of past abuse, character deaths, BRUTAL character deaths, and other warnings to be added.

How I currently imagine handling credit:

I’m think about having the people who worked on a certain chapter put their initials/names in either the bottom of the page, the top corner, or anywhere else I can think of, if you would like to suggest a different method please reach out to me

Why did I add these themes? Because I feel like that if they weren’t mentioned, it kinda feels like we’re ignoring/erasing the past, and that is a major injustice to those who suffered because of these beliefs during this time. they threw out 4 full length novels??? what about the author??? i sincerely hope that they told her the books wouldnt be canon before they had her write FOUR NOVELS

also the books are so so so important for joeys character specifically.. not even just tiol but the other books as well.. the books do so much more for his character than the games do despite him being the main antagonist(although. it probably doesnt matter anymore because of his crappy “redemption” in batdr💀)

them erasing the books pisses me off so much it feels like 2/3rds of the lore were just thrown out

Problems with erasing Bendy Book canon:

With the FNAF books, we were told they were canon-divergent fairly early on. For Bendy, this was never specified, leading many to believe this was all just straight-up canon information that they were running with for theorycrafting. For a long time.

Why the hell would you de-canonize the ENTIRE origin story of Boris? He's a central character to Bendy and the Ink Machine.

You're going to throw out THE ENTIRE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF YOUR MAIN VILLAIN? THAT'S.......NOT A GOOD IDEA!

(And before it's pointed out, no, we don't "need" Illusion of Living for "gay evidence." The point here is y'all released an autobiography for one of your two main characters and you're saying it's not canon. That's ludicrous.)

Things that were explained/brought up in the novels that apparently "aren't canon anymore": how Sammy got infected, Thomas's conflicting feelings about the machine he created, the origin of Boris the wolf, several instances of Joey's gaslighting and manipulative behavior and his slow descent into madness after Henry's departure, a look into Gent technology and the Gent experiments that took place after they switched over to "research", Abby Lambert (who SHOULD be in the mainline games all things considered), Joey Drew's ENTIRE AUTOBIOGRAPHY including his PHILOSOPHIES AND REAL ASS LIFE, ANDDD the themes of classism, racism, and sexism that were VERY present at that time in history. Among other things.

You're taking out several new characters for no reason. I'm not saying they all need to return, but it makes zero sense to introduce a bunch of new guys and then immediately abandon them...only to introduce a bunch of OTHER new guys.

I've seen a few comments in response to Mike that go along the lines of "oh thank goodness now I don't need to read the books to understand the lore!" No disrespect, but I think that's a fundamental misunderstanding of what the books do. They enhance your understanding of all the background plot. You don't need to read the books to understand the games. But that shouldn't mean erasing the existing information's canonicity because not everyone wants to read it.

Bendy isn't FNAF. Bendy has a much more streamlined plot. Not everything fits perfectly of course, but to take out such a large chunk of what we THOUGHT was the plot (or plot-adjacent) is headscratching to me. You claim to care about the plot, characters and worldbuilding and then you decide that some of the BEST written interpretations of these characters and their world just aren't "legitimate" now? .......All of a sudden?

BENDY: LONE WOLF TRAILER ANALYSIS

This should be the same safe house from BATIM Chapter 3 and BATDS but with the updated BATDR textures.

Ditto with the audio log getting updated.

Interestingly Allison narrates,

"Every day it seems Mr. Drew loses more and more interest in the project. Almost as if something else has captured his imagination."

LONE WOLF takes place between Ink Machine and Dark Revival so this might be our look at the ink beings' reactions to the changes GENT/Wilson have been making to the loop, mistaking it for Joey.

Turrets! Though we don't see them in action in the trailer, I feel like this will work similarly to Bioshock. Turrets attack you until you damage it enough till it goes offline, giving you time and access to hack it to work in your favour instead.

Self-defense mechanics! No need to keep running till you find a miracle station or just perish from no sprint!

Looks like we're going back to Bendy Land!

Ink Widows are now an enemy type!

It could be a stretch to say that this is the bad ending but could be the death animation.

Interestingly, there's a red glow emitting from the ink swallowing Boris.

This is now the second instance of Red in the Bendy series, the first being in a screenshot of The Cage. We could see this further explored and explained there.

Traps! Noticeably in the second pic, Lord Amok's symbol is on the trap. There could be 2 different types of traps, one being placed by Boris and won't damage and one is a environmental type that damages us.

Quality of life update, you can now change your perspective!

We might be able to find materials in lockers to either upgrade or build new weapons and MAYBE more lore.

Boris animatronic enemy! Seeing as we're adventuring through Bendy Land, we might also encounter the Bendy animatronic and possibly an Alice as well.

This is either a new addition to our spawn hub like other rooms in previous updates of Dark Survival OR an arcade room you can find in one of the levels (or both)

The sledgehammer Boris wields earlier in the trailer came be seen next to Butcher Bash so this might be where we find that after playing it as a mini game.

(small note: look at all of them in plush form!)

And of course, the new Ink Demon model. Sad to see the BATIM Ink Demon go but hopefully we also see a new mechanic or two with this new one.

BONUS: ALICE ANGEL AND SAMMY LAWRENCE ARE CONFIRMED TO APPEAR IN LONE WOLF

i know this is a really stupid thing to be mad about, but the fact that wally isnt buddy boris has stuck with me ever since dctl was released. i found out through a fucking superhorrorbro video of all things all the way back in like 2018 i'm pretty sure 😭😭 i was so disappointed when i found out bc like WHAT DO U MEAN THE JANITOR/HANDYMAN OF JOEY DREW STUDIOS, EHO WAS GENERALLY A TRICKSTER AND A CLUTZ AND LIKED TO PISS PEOPLE OFF, ISN'T THE PERFECT BORIS CLONE. BUDDY BORIS FITS/HAD POTENTIAL TO FIT MOST TO ALL OF THAT CRITERIA.

and don't grt me wrong, i (kind of) like buddy as a character, BUT i really just don't think he fits the role (from what i've seen/read). like he could've been a different boris clone as a little easter egg/nod to what happened to him and how he died but as like. an important role in the game?? even though the books aren't even fucking canon apparently now so his subplot doesn't even make sense anymore?????.????... ooh bitchh

ALSO the "he (wally) got outta there that's why/he has a wife and kids" IS A WEAK ASS FUCKING ARGUMENT. THIS IS NOT A SHITS AND GIGGLES PLOTLINE U CAN JUST THROW AWAY. how come thomas grts to be tom (which makes somewhat sense with him also being a handyman type of guy), but wally can't also partake in the Main Character-ified Borisification to help henry traverse the studio. why can't that just be so easy to do. there could've been so many cool extra plotpoints and nods to what could've happened to him but Noooo Noooooooooo they just HAD to make a whole new character JUST for wally to NOT BE BORIS. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE BOOKS ARE NON CANON NOW BECAUSE THAT MAKES TOTAL SENSE. (/sarc)

soo with all that said, PERSONALLY this is what i think they should've done with buddy instead (under the cut so this post isn't 600 pages long)

first of all; scrap buddy's origin story completely and just make dtcl about the fact that he was simply another victim of the machine instead of making him such a major character (ex. a boris clone that was almost perfect but didn't quite make it like i said earlier)

on top of that, dctl could've just been insight on a single worker's process through working at the studio to being one of many victims of the machine, instead of turning him into such a titular important gary stu ass character with an in-depth backstory and Joey Drew Favoritism™ apparently that CLEARLY didn't need it + shouldn't be an mc if he's only in the books + the books aren't canon and the games are. so then it doesn't make it make any sense if he has such an important role and he isn't even fucking canon anyway and etc.

if he would've just stayed a minor inconvenient mc in a non-canon book it wouldn't have been detrimental to the lore as Mr. D Likes To Exaggerate (to me) + the books just seem like a fun one-off exclusive to the game series anyway, so it starts to kind of make sense why they aren't canon and leaves a lot of mysteries up to interpretation which is something i DO appreciate (to a CERTAIN extent)

here's what i think could've been done if wally was actually buddy boris and faced The Horrors™ like a normal main character should. an au, if you will (AND bc im VERY bias abt wally since He was my first ever og blorbo the first time i heard his audio log i literally owe him my Life💜💜💜💜)

wally could've started dropping hints in his audio logs that something funny was happening in the studio (specifically to him)/he could've been the last major victim to be sacrificed to the machine and therefore being one of the reasons of having the role of "the perfect boris" as malice said

-he also seems like the type of person to give into manipulation fairly easily, not knowing how truly bad something is before he gets involved yk

-a bit of a stretch BUT could also be a nod to susie's initial likeness towards wally pre-canon and vice versa (sourced from the special audio log wally has on the jds yt channel)

-him being the perfect boris also could allude to his personality/attributes and the way he talked abt the studio

and you can't forget the audio log of him and thomas bickering like COME ONNNN THERE COULD'VE BEEN A WHOOOLE SUB-SUBPLOT WHERE TOM AND BUDDY BORIS RECOGNIZE EACH OTHER SOMEHOW AT SOME POINT BUT THEY DON'T KNOW HOW

-TOM COULD'VE RECOGNIZED HIM EVEN AS BRUTE BORIS AFTER HENRY KILLS HIM and allison too but TOMMMMMMM😭😭😭😭😭CAN ANYONE HEAR MEEEEE

extra hints in the game like certain phrases and mannerisms of his (ink/glowing ink writings like his "i'm outta here!" written in certain locations or like. boris being clumsier as he walks/carrying around keys/scavenging for food [kind of like in the start of chapter 3], etc.)

-i also think that the connection that buddy boris (and just boris in general) has with food can connect with wally as well bc of the audio log where he's like "Omg 💖 Cake 💖just for me! Don't Tell Anyone Though. Our little secret. 😝" or the bit in the handbook where he finds some "churros" i Guess

there's also a LOT of potential for there to be a whole OTHER subplot where sammy could have found him one day and hadn't recognized him bc All The Boris Clones Look The Same, but buddy boris recognized sammy and there could be a whole conversation with henry and sammy abt him and dropping hints at it and blahblahblah etc etc.

-sammy probably could've mentioned him* at some point too even if he hadn't seen buddy boris as like a "hey.. i knew that fuckass guy.. wtf" (*and i know he mentions wally in the hot topic takeover thing on twitter from a while ago but i mean like in the actual game)

i think that the fact of boris being a Non-Verbal King™ would also be a funny contrast to how many god damn audio logs wally has. like Shut yuor mouth fucker /REF

the bit in chapter 3 where boris knows every nook and cranny of the studio and how to navigate the vent system could also lead to wally's nature of having a lot of knowledge of the layout to the building (due to being a janitor/running errands for people, similar to buddy) + he mentions staying in late to freshen up some offices so he might've explored more using that time as well because his personality shows he's a bit of a nosy guy

ALSO a stretch, but wally's first audio log in chapter one being fairly close to the first boris corpse displayed could've been a good foreshadow to his revival as buddy boris (and where the theory originated i'm pretty sure once ch2 came out)

the saferoom at the start of chapter 3 could've also been a great place to reference him (they could've put his hat from bendy royale in the shelf next to/on the hammock Can anyone hear me)

i also think that wally is supposed to be painted as an older guy?? so he probably already would've moved on from the studio due to leaving and starting his own business and having a family I Guess?????? idk but to me i think he'd be more of the college drop-out that thinks he's hot shit type of guy when in reality he doesn't know what a 2 + 2 is (ex. the audio log in batds where he's like "i was the best Student! Brickmore High! [tiktok bold emoji] These college bozos don't be knowin' shit!!"

-younger people are easier to manipulate like i talked abt earlier (especially someone like him that doesn't think before he Does Anything . boy has no thoughts)

wally also most likely would've known who henry was/was friendly with him while working there too at some point while henry was still at the studio pre-canon, so he probably recognized him throughout the cycle

i could ramble forever abt this bc it's such a strangely frustrating topic for me BUT in conclusion; i personally tbink that it would've been perfectly logical for wally to have been buddy boris (probably called somethig else), and buddy should've been a completely seperate character that would've done just as well on his own in the book instead of having a whole ass overarching plot for no reason?? and the "canonicity" of it is weirdly up for debate??? idk Watever thank you for coming to my tedtalk 😇😇Bye

personally i think Audreys abilities in BATDR were…underused? by a lot? the early trailers made them seem like theyd be a big thing but i feel like they werent. the only time i can think of where Banish really had a role in the story was to push Alice off her platform thing and i think they couldve used it more?

way before BATDR came out i feel like they set it up to be this like big finale almost(although clearly it wasnt stares at 5 big pieces of content coming in the future) and in my head i had this idea that Audreys power would be revealed as a way to set souls free from the cycle. technically they could still go that route in B3ndy. that would be SOOO GOOD IMO !!

one thing i DONT want to happen in B3ndy is what BATDR did with its characters. i think Wilson is a decent villain but there were so many new characters that seemed to push the old ones aside. like ofc there would be new ones ik that but like Amok for example? sewer cult? there was already a cult in the franchise that they could’ve used for that part. like they could’ve had Sammy’s cult members there but have Sammy missing cause Wilson had already imprisoned him. in general i just think the old characters are underutilized in BATDR

another example is the lost keys thing in Artists Rest. they had new characters be apart of that puzzle but i think its fitting for Wally instead? like chapter 2 of BATIM has almost the same concept for a quest based around Wally idkdbhfjfj
