I'm losing my mind over the BLW release date trailer!!

The Narrator sounds an awful lot like Guffie and the boardgame is so “unfinished Dungeons & Ink Demons” and the implications this is an escaped toon playing this I just love it so much!! 💕 And theMeatly confirmed all the old audio logs are still there, wahoo!! My favorite ones didn't get cut like I was worried they would!!

Anyways, theory: Riley and Guffie are editing the Ink World by telling/to tell us Boris' story. Also, Riley made the game board (similar look to D&ID, just much messier/hastier), Guffie made the game pieces (different art style from D&ID/BINR).

I so hope the Narrator and this workshop place'll be in the game too and not just the trailer by the way, it could be like all those fairytale movies where you cut back to the person telling the story during certain moments ROFL it'd be adorable… Fricking Princess Bride-esque…! 😋😍

Also… well, I'll be darned… Anyone else notice that this more rushed handwriting & drawing style on the trailer game board looks awfully… familiar…? 👀

Fanfics are a big part of what inspires me to draw fanart, but I have just seen a post saying that some writers might not like fanart based on their fics to be posted and honestly, I'd never considered that, so if you're a fanfic writer:

to me fanart and fanfic have always seemed more or less like a symbiotic relationship and I personally would love it if someone wrote a fic based on art that I drew, so I'd never really considered that someone might not like it

Anyways, me when my college stopped letting my favorite teacher with tons of real-life experience in all his areas of expertise teach most of his classes because he didn't have a degree and then started letting another teacher teach a buncha crud she knew NOTHING about because she had a degree & all of my classmates realized I was the only person in the room who had any idea how to do most of what she was supposed to be teaching us (frick credentialism, frick credentialism, frick credentialism).

This morning my child (soon to be 3) requested that I make him toast "with creamy peanut butter on the bottom and crunchy peanut butter on the top."

ME: You mean put peanut butter on both sides?

HIM: Yes.

ME, getting into "sometimes kids have to experience the natural consequences of their actions" parenting mode: Okay, I'll do it, but you know that's gonna be really messy, right?

He insisted, and then when it was, indeed, really messy, he sobbed inconsolably on the floor. I offered to make him regular toast, or a sandwich of peanut butter toast, or a triple-decker tower of toast slices, or any other iteration of peanut butter and toast, but nothing made it better.
