I can't stop thinking about Jason telling Tim to insult Damian so he can defend him and be a good brother to Damian, it's his way of bonding after Dick says to spend more time with his brothers.

Damian: Todd, he's back! That kid on the TV just called me a dickhead again.

Jason: Noobmaster...

Damian: Yeah, Noobmaster69.

Continuing with the 4th Tie-In of Dark Nights Metal: Batman the Murder Machine. In which we realize that DC’s basically playing, I mean writing, Code Lyoko in Gotham: “Code Lyoko in No Man’s Land” sounds like a great title don’t you think?

See? With what we’ve seen from before it’s pretty much an IRL (for them) version of Code Lyoko…Which, considering the card part also makes it similar to Digimon or Yu-Gi-Oh.

What kind of Monster would write Alfred’s murder like this? OK DC Well done, If I hadn’t been still on about the Code Lyoko thing It might have had an almost emotional impact on me instead of simply not rolling my eyes.

Back to the eye rolling. After stealing Tony Stark’s personality and skills to give to Tim Drake instead of using his own personality and skills, they’re now stealing the MCU’s Jarvis to give it to Alfred.

So I think this issue is one of the first Batverse issues in….probably years to actually touch me and it’s because the bond between Alfred and Bruce is one of the only Batbonds to have survived N52 as in, it was actually written and developed even if it’s not that well done in general, it’s pretty much always has been shown that they were Father and Son and behaved and were developed that way. Also, Cyborg’s first line made me smile.

Again with the destined thing. While it’s true that in some stories it can be a good part of the world building, it doesn’t really fit this kind of narrative well. Like. Why the hell does the Dark Multiverse have an expiration date in the first place? Maybe they’ll answer this later (hopefully or this would be one huge plot hole) but even if they do they better come up with an actually good explanation.
