The Drake bloodline is an old family bloodline. Not old by Gotham City standards—but old in blood and rituals. Historian Jack and archeologist Janet Drake started to dig their fingers into these old roots, filled with rites and ancient knowledge—some of which are better left to the lost annals of history.

Jason Todd might not know the meaning of life, but he does figure out the meaning of his life, somewhere in between killing the Joker and ringing the doorbell to Wayne Manor. Or, a canon-divergent take of Lost Days and Countdown to Final Crisis, where Under the Red Hood doesn’t happen.

i participated in this year's @batbigbang and drew for faia's fic, who was a very wonderful person to work with, and who wrote a fic that is so up my alley, i had trouble choosing what to draw! :') it's super great, and it features multiverse shenanigans, which is why i got to draw one jason judging another jason's red hood shtick 😂

Bat Big Bang Starts Next Week!

It's here! After all of the hard work this year from our authors, artists, and their supporters, we're ready to start sharing these works very soon!

Posting begins Saturday, September 23!

The 2023 Bat Big Bang will include fourteen illustrated 50k+ fics in total, one fic revealed daily at 3PM EST here and on Ao3, for two weeks of novel-length fics. We can't thank our participants enough for their time, love, hard work, and commitment that they invested into this project - the level of care that went into each project is palpable and has absolutely blown us away.

CHAPTER 1: AN IMAGE CAUGHT IN TIME

Buckley leans back to the frosted partition behind her, knocking abruptly on the glass. “Break’s over, dingus, get out here and help me! And you ,” she whips around to point threateningly at the ringleader of the gaggle of girls in front of them, “one more sample each, and then you better buy something, so help me.” Eddie’s about to make a joke about Buckley getting in a fight with an infant when the door to the back room opens, and he loses all ability to speak. Steve Harrington. Steve Harrington in a dorky little sailor outfit. Steve Harrington in a dorky little sailor outfit. Complete with tight shorts and a jaunty hat. Fuck me. While Eddie’s gay little squirrel brain is having a complete meltdown, Gareth, Jeff, and Grant—who suffer no similar affliction—burst into barely contained laughter at the former King of Hawkins High’s expense. He’s distantly aware of Robin smirking at their response while she continues to deal with the gremlins in front of her. “Alright, alright, yuk it up,” Harrington says, flushing an adorable shade of pink and rolling his eyes. “What do you guys want?” Is he wearing fucking lip gloss?

I joined @batbigbang as an artist and got paired with @iwantapettiger for their fic Playboy Therapy which is just the most delightful thing, everyone should give Lex/Bruce a try. I had a great time working on these!

So happy I can finally share these pieces from @justanotherblonde-writer's amazing fic Hunger!!

In the first piece I did I got to make a fake comic cover which was a blast and the author was so supportive and helpful through the whole process of both pieces.

This cover is not a direct scene from the story but is a different interpretation of a scene.

I had to resist adding items to the counters an weathering to the cupboard doors so much! I'm so happy with this drawing though!! The pose is more exaggerated in this than the actual scene to communicate what's happening better but I did try to keep this pretty true to the writing

Both of these pieces were made for the @batbigbang event! I am so happy I got to participate!

SYNOPSIS- Stephanie gets turned into a dinosaur in the middle of a fight, which is just rude if you ask her. The good news is, Cass is on team "turn Stephanie back". The bad news is, Damian is… Not.

This was a ton of fun to work on. The wings are based off of those of the Indiana bat (Myotis sodalis).

This is a snippet of the scene the art is based off of:

"Not a shadow. A...person? Someone tall with long scraggly and tangled dark hair. They were keeping just as still as Steve was, both of them remaining silent for as long as the room remained dark, like they were participating in a horrible game of chicken. Whatever it was lost as it shifted its weight, and he could hear a weird rustling sound as they moved. Almost like whenever a large bird shook out their wings. A flash of white in the dark as the shape opened its mouth-, Steve caught a glimpse of fangs. Whatever this was in his room had fucking fangs. “Fucking hell man, are you trying to give me a heart attack?” Steve says, rubbing his head. Eddie laughs. “Sorry dude, didn’t think you’d be so jumpy.” He attempts to look casual by leaning against the fence again, but it’s farther away than he anticipated so he ends up stumbling and almost falling over, crashing into the trash cans and making even more of a racket while simultaneously looking like an idiot. Harrington watches him with an amused smirk as he runs his hand through his hair. “What are you doing back there, Munson?”
